…..

Kyoko approached the front door of her Aunt and Uncle's pastel-blue house as a nervous sweat swiftly overcame her. She wanted to stop by and offer her apology to Moka after the commotion she had caused during her and Tsukune's engagement party, which was held about three weeks ago. The raven-haired, young woman would have visited much sooner but Moka was out-of-town for two weeks, plus her new job had kept her busy as did her university studies.

She walked up to the doorway and pressed the buzzer.

* ding dong *

"Coming!" Kasumi called out as she walked out of the kitchen and towards the front door as she dried her damp hands on a towel. She peered through the peep-hole and saw that it was her niece who had come for a visit. Kasumi smiled brightly as she unlocked and opened the door.

"Good afternoon, Aunty. Is Moka home by chance?" the younger Aono woman asked with a weak smile across her features.

"Good afternoon, Kyoko. Yes, Moka's home. Come in please" Kasumi answered as she opened the door and allowed her niece to enter the house.

"Pardon the intrusion" Kyoko announced as she stepped through the doorway and removed her brown, leather, boots in the front entrance-way. She was dressed in her standard outfit: a dark, denim mini-skirt, white tee-shirt, red jacket, and a pair of navy blue stockings, which completed her look. The weather had grown considerably cooler and the days shorter; hence, the additional layers of clothing. It was now early autumn.

"Moka's in the living room watching television with Tsukune. Go on in as I have to get back to making dinner" Kasumi told her as she returned to the kitchen.

"Oh thank you Aunty. I won't be very long" Kyoko replied. She then wandered into the living room to see what her cousin and Moka were up to.

…..

"Kyo? What are you doing here?" Tsukune yelped as Moka was lying on top of him and was helping herself to some of his delectable blood. Kyoko just saw something she should not have seen to begin with. Her face turned bright red from what she witnessed and quickly averted her eyes in the opposite direction.

Moka heard the sudden ruckus, released her fangs from her mate's neck, and closed the small puncture marks closed with her moist, hot, tongue.

Per her promise to Tsukune's parents Moka was in her sealed, human form.

Brown hair with light, copper highlights, and hazel-green eyes. Kyoko had previously heard from her Aunt about Moka's "new look" and the reasoning behind it.

"Um, sorry guys. I just came by to speak with Moka" she replied as she sat down on the beige, microfiber, loveseat that was adjacent to the matching sofa where the vampire duo was seated.

"Its fine, Kyoko. What do you wish to speak with me about?" Moka asked as she narrowed her green eyes in mild frustration. Kyoko had interrupted a special moment between the vampiress and her blood-mate, and was not particularly fond of the idea that she was bothered in such a way.

"Sorry about that, Moka. Um, can we go somewhere – private? If it's okay with Tsuki, that is" she asked as her cheeks were still tinted red from seeing Moka being intimate with her own cousin.

"That is acceptable, as long as Tsukune has no problem with it" Moka answered as she held his right hand and gave it light squeeze.

"It's okay with me. Just be nice, Kyo. That's all I ask" Tsukune replied as Moka stood up and then gave him a chaste kiss on his right cheek.

"Thank you love. I'll be back shortly. Let's go Kyoko. We can go to my old room upstairs for our girl talk" Moka said as she waved to her fiancé for the time being.

"Alright Moka. You girls play nice now. I don't wanna have to go up there and break-up a pillow fight" he teased as Kyoko shot him a strange look. Moka giggled at his impromptu joke as she lead his female cousin upstairs, to her former bedroom.

…..

Two minutes later Moka and Kyoko were sitting on Moka's old bed in the room next to hers and Tsukune's shared bedroom.

Kyoko marveled to herself how "girly" the room looked. The bedspread and matching pillows were red and pink, as well as the window coverings. There were several stuffed animals sitting on the bed itself. On top of the dresser were a few, framed photos of Moka and Tsukune from their many dates and celebrations, including one of their time at Tokyo Disney on Moka's nineteenth birthday. In the five by seven photo, she was smiling happily while she enjoyed her birthday cake and ice cream.

"So, Kyoko? What did you wish to speak about?" Moka asked as the elder girl inspected the photos on top of the old, wooden dresser. Kyoko closed her eyes for a minute to gather her courage and swallowed the last bit of her nervousness.

She then turned around, faced Moka, and then bowed deeply.

"Moka. I'm very sorry for my drunken behavior at your engagement party last month. I am very sorry and there was no excuse for the way I behaved. I hope that you can forgive me someday!" Kyoko sputtered out as she shed a few tears of sorrow. She had not only made a fool of herself, but had lost any trust with Moka.

The vampire princess stood up off the bed and lightly placed her hands on Kyoko's shoulders. She surprised the young woman by pulling her into a warm hug. Kyoko was shocked at the sudden gesture and remained firmly glued in place for several, awkward moments. The Aono girl was unsure of how to react to the sudden change in mood.

"I forgive you Kyoko. Just please use better judgment at any, future celebrations, okay?" Moka said as she could tell that Kyoko was somewhere nervous.

"Thank you Moka. I never meant what I said that night and I do wish you and Tsuki the best" Kyoko replied as she shed a few more tears, this time of relief. She was half-afraid that Moka would hate her for her inebriated conduct at their celebration, or far worse.

"You're welcome Kyoko. And thank you. That really means a lot to the both of us. Let's get along from now on, shall we?" Moka said as they finished the unforeseen embrace and faced one another for a few moments.

"Thank you Moka. You know, you're a lot nicer than I thought, since this is the real you. I mean personality-wise, that is. Aunty told me about your new "seal" and the reason behind it" Kyoko told Moka. The vampiress then sat down on the plush bed with Kyoko about half a meter away.

"You're welcome. Kyoko. What does that mean? I may have changed a lot, but I am still myself."

"Ah! Don't take it the wrong way Moka. I didn't mean anything by that. What I meant to say was that you're a lot different than when I first met you at Yokai. Remember? When that teacher with the snakes in her hair had tricked me into bringing that mirror to the school and all the students changed into their monster forms. What was it called again? The "Reversing Mirror" or something like that" Kyoko explained before Moka came to the wrong assumption.

"I see. Yes, I recall now. I had used the Lilith Mirror to separate myself from my other half. Without your help we may never have been able to defeat her" Moka replied.

"Ah, well it was my fault that the whole thing happened anyway. But I'm glad that the issue was resolved, even at the cost of your Rosary being used to fix the barrier" Kyoko said as she exhaled a sigh of relief.

"Yes, but everything worked out in the end, and I received a new Rosary shortly afterwards" Moka answered.

…..

"Aunty told me what happened last year. I mean about the other you. I still find it hard to believe she wasn't even real. It must have been hard for you to accept, wasn't it Moka?"

"Yes Kyoko, it was very difficult to accept. And Tsukune took the news even harder. We barely spoke after we returned to the Academy. But my feelings for him never changed. When I was first kidnapped by Fairy Tale and knew that I could very well never see him again, made me realize that even though my other half wasn't real, the feelings she held for him were. I never would have fallen in love with him if they were not. He was my first, true, friend who loved and accepted me for who I am" Moka said as she shed a few tears as the somber memories bubbled to the surface.

"I'm sorry about that Moka. I didn't mean to make you cry" Kyoko said in a panic as she arrived at the decision that she may have brought up a subject that she should not have.

"It's fine, Kyoko. I was only remembering something. That's also the reason why I had saved his life during our first year. And he had saved me as well, countless times when I was unable to free myself from the confines of the Rosary. If I hadn't met him on our first day of our freshman year, I wouldn't be here now. We were meant to save one another, in more ways than one" Moka said as she broke down and started to cry, as she reflected on just how much Tsukune had always been there for her.

Kyoko had no idea what to do, so she quickly pulled Moka into her arms and held her until she would calm down. Moka wrapped her arms around the young woman's back as more memories flooded her mind. Her shoulders shook heavily as she recalled when Tsukune had saved her life with his Shinso blood last year when she was gravely injured by Alucard and was at death's door.

It was at that very minute that the vampire princess knew without doubt that they were destined for one another.

…..

A few minutes later, Moka's crying spell ceased and the two, young women ended their somewhat, clumsy hug. Moka wiped her face with her hands and twiddled her fingers as she was unsure of what to say without becoming emotional again.

"Is there anything else you wish to say, Kyoko?" Moka asked as she glanced to her right and looked at her for a minute.

"Yeah. Why Tsukune? What makes him so special?" Kyoko asked as she sat closer to Moka. Her abrupt nearness caught the vampiress off guard as she scooted back a bit.

"Why Tsukune? I don't understand your question" Moka replied as she furrowed her brow.

"Why did you choose him as your 'mate'? And what does Aunty mean when she said you were 'blood-mates'" Kyoko inquired as she came even closer to Moka.

"I told you already. I was in love with him. It took me a year to come to that realization. He is very kind, thoughtful, and always put me first when we were in high school. He makes the perfect mate. As for us being blood-mates. We drank each others blood before graduation, after I confessed to him on the roof of the school. Tsukune and I now share our thoughts, feelings, and emotions with each other. We also know where the other is even if either one of us are halfway across the world. It's a very special bond that only a few, vampire couples share. No other yokai have that deep of a connection" Moka explained the best she could to Kyoko without going into any further, intimate details.

"Wah! That's so romantic!" Kyoko blurted out as she folded her hands in front of her as her eyes sparkled with keen interest.

Moka was startled by her sudden outburst but knew that was something that the Aono women shared, which she discovered was rather strange, since Kyoko and Kasumi were only related by name and not blood. Kyoko was Koji's niece, on his brother's side of the family.

"Oh yes. It is romantic now that you mention it, Kyoko" Moka replied once her heartbeat returned to normal. She would never get used to these abrupt expressions of exceptional enthusiasm, Moka reminded herself.

"So Moka. Tell me now. How is he?" Kyoko asked with a wink.

"How is he?" Moka asked as she cocked her head to the side as she had not a clue to what Kyoko was referring to.

"Come on Moka. You know...in the sack" Kyoko explained as her face flushed bright red, due to her very embarrassing inquiry.

"In the sack? I don't quite follow, Kyoko' Moka answered as she tilted her head to the left.

"In bed. How is Tsuki in bed?" Kyoko said as she practically jumped on top of Moka and nearly knocked her to the floor.

"Eh?!" Moka exclaimed as she pushed Kyoko away, jumped off the bed, and landed about a meter away.

"Oh come on Moka. We're both girls. You can tell me. I won't say a thing to Aunty, I promise" Kyoko said as she got up from the bed and walked over to Moka's side like a tiger would stalk its prey.

"I don't think that's any of your business Kyoko" Moka answered, her face still burned hot from what Kyoko had just asked her.

"Please Moka? I don't have a boyfriend now and I was wondering how it was" Kyoko admitted with a bright blush.

"No. That's private information, Kyoko" Moka answered with an even deeper blush.

"Aw, you're no fun. Maybe he's not so wonderful as you claim he is, after all" Kyoko teased as she turned around and plopped herself on the plush bed once more.

"You're wrong Kyoko! He's amazing in bed and makes me lose control every time we make love. I even broke his bed last month" Moka sputtered out then quickly covered her mouth with both of her hands after she realized what she had just admitted, aloud.

"Ah ha! I knew it! I thought heard you guys a few times from my room next door! Oh Tsukune! You're so big! Oh kami! Give it to me! Harder!" Kyoko said as she doubled over and started to laugh like a hyena.

"Hey, you tricked me Kyoko. Maybe you need to know your place" Moka said as she made it over to her bed and pinned Kyoko down by her wrists with both of her hands. She placed her knees on Kyoko's thighs, in order to prevent her possible escape.

Moka's face was deep crimson from utmost embarrassment. Kyoko had not only heard them making love before, but repeated what Moka had said as well!

"Eh? What are you doing Moka?" Kyoko said in a panic as she could barely move a centimeter. Even while her powers were sealed up by her new limiter, Moka was still very strong in her own way.

"Taking my payment for you embarrassing me like that Kyoko. That's not very nice, spying on us like that" Moka said as she brought her lips down, to the right side of Kyoko's neck.

"I wasn't listening to you guys on purpose, Moka! It's not my fault that you're so damn loud!" Kyoko replied as she attempted to break free from the vampiress' iron-like grip.

"So what are you implying? That I'm too loud. I can't help that Kyoko. I have very little control over my voice when Tsukune and I are together" Moka proudly informed her.

…..

* knock knock knock *

"Moka? Are you two done talking yet? Mom said dinner's almost done and for you to come downstairs" Tsukune said from his side of the still-closed, bedroom door.

"~Che" Moka said as she got up from the bed and shot a warning to Kyoko, to keep what happened between them, a secret for now. She walked over to the door and opened it with a bright smile.

'Oh thank Kami!' Kyoko silently said to herself, grateful that her cousin had inadvertently saved her from Moka's fangs.

"Hi Tsukune. Yes, we're done with our little chat. Isn't that right Kyoko?" Moka said as she looked over to the raven-haired, young woman, who was smiling as well. Kyoko just nodded yes in agreement.

"Alright. Um Kyo, mom said that you can stay over for dinner if you'd like" Tsukune offered as she stood up from the bed and jogged over to the door.

"Oh that's fine Tsuki. Thanks for the invite, but I have to get home anyway since I'm cooking for my parents tonight" Kyoko said with a sweat-drop. She was quite thankful for the interruption; otherwise, she might have become a snack for the vampiress. Or so she was lead to believe that.

"Um, okay then. See ya' later Kyo" Tsukune said as Moka held his hand. Kyoko made her way down the hallway then walked down the stairway.

"What's wrong Kyoko? Were you afraid of little, old me? I wasn't going to take your blood. You need to relax a little more" Moka said as she waved farewell to the young woman in a playful fashion.

Tsukune shot a questioning look to Moka and wondered to himself if she was being serious, or not.

"Oh Tsukune. You worry too much, as well. I was only trying to scare her for what she had asked me."

"What? What did she ask you Moka, for you to scare her like that?" he inquired with a sweat-drop.

"That's a secret, my love" Moka said with an adorable wink.

"Alright then. Um, are you sure everything's alright Moka? Your face is all red."

"I'm fine love. Besides, I only drink blood from you or a transfusion packet, anyway. I'm most certain that she would not taste as delicious as you do, my handsome man."

…..

"If you tell me, I'll take you out to dinner tonight. My treat."

"Are you perhaps...trying to bribe me, hm?" Moka asked in a teasing tone as she grabbed his hands, pulled him into her former bedroom, and closed the door behind herself.

"No. I'm just curious that's all. If it involves us, shouldn't you tell me? We're mates Moka. And no more secrets, remember?"

"Very well. You do have a valid point and I apologize. She asked...me...um...how you were...in...bed" Moka admitted as she buried her face against his chest and held it there for several moments while he digested what she had just told him.

"And what did you say to her?" Tsukune continued.

"She tricked me into telling her everything. At first she said you weren't as wonderful as I had told her and then I came clean and proudly told her that you were amazing in bed and that I can't control my voice when we're...making love...I'm sorry I said too much, Tsukune. Kyoko is quite clever I must admit" Moka said as she pressed herself flat against his broad chest. Her face felt as though it were on fire and she was mortified beyond rational thought.

Tsukune started to chuckle and then gave Moka a warm hug.

"You're not mad, love?" she asked as she returned the loving gesture.

"Hahahaa...no...that's just too funny. I can just imagine the look on her face, hahahaha!"

"Oh thank kami. I thought you might be upset with me. Kyoko also said that she heard us a few times and that I was too loud" Moka added. Tsukune's laughter came to a grinding halt once he heard what Moka just said.

'Kyo heard us? How many times? Moka was being too loud? Should we move out? Have my parents heard us too? Does Kyo think we're some sort of sexual deviants? Oh my kami!' were the thoughts that swam through his mind as he tried to accept what Moka said and was being completely honest.

"Tsukune please calm down. Kyoko won't say anything. If she does then I'll feign ignorance, that's all. Besides, she may very-well be jealous of our close relationship" Moka hypothesized as she could tell that Tsukune was having some sort of internal conflict or debate with himself. Moka had told him the truth, even though it was much more than he had bargained for.

"I hope that you're right Moka. The last thing I want is for her to start spreading wild rumors about us at her job or university. I don't wanna be labeled as a couple of perverts" Tsukune said with a heavy sigh.

"Tsukune, have some faith in me, please? If she does, I'll drain her dry and she'll forget all about it. Anyway, I told her that I have very little control over my voice when we're being intimate with each other. That's the truth, love. You know that as much as I do" Moka said as she leaned up and gave him a chaste kiss on his lips.

Once the couple ended their kiss for air, they decided to head downstairs as they were both rather famished and did not want to make his mother worry. Or for her to jump to the wrong conclusion and to think that the vampire couple would skip out on dinner and go straight to bed as an alternative.

"You have a good point Moka. Besides, I don't think anyone would believe her anyway. She only had a few boyfriends when she was in high school, but focused on working and studying a lot just to get into a good university. And now she's been single for a while from what her mom told me" Tsukune explained to Moka as they walked downstairs and into the dining room to have their late dinner.

...

Once they finished eating dinner, the vampire couple wondered what to do since it was now only around seven o'clock in the evening. Tsukune came up with an idea since Moka seemed to be thinking more than she usually did.

"Hey Moka?" Tsukune asked as they sat on the beige, microfiber couch in the living room.

"Yes, Tsukune?" she answered as she furrowed her brow, still deep in thought.

"Would you um, like to go for a walk with me? It's a nice evening outside" he suggested.

"Oh yes, that sounds like a wonderful idea" Moka agreed with a warm smile. With that the duo walked out of the living room, and made their way to the closet by the front door so they could fetch their sweaters.

"Hey mom. Moka and I are going for a walk to the park" Tsukune said as his mother walked into the front hallway as she heard their voices. Tsukune opened the closet door and handed Moka her red hoodie that she put on with great speed and himself, his navy blue one.

"Okay sweetie. You two have a nice walk and come back when you're done. Just be safe" she said with a warm, motherly smile.

"Thanks mom. We'll be back in a while" he replied as they were now fully dressed, including their sneakers for their impromptu stroll. Tsukune opened the front door for Moka and allowed her to exit the house first with a smile. Her fiancée followed her lead and closed the door behind himself. Moka slid her right hand into his left as the made their way down the walkway in front of their home and onto the main sidewalk that ran along the street.

"It's such a lovely evening" Moka said as they headed down the avenue in the direction of the park. Tsukune just hummed yes in agreement as she snuggled herself closer to him. It was a clear, cloudless evening. Hundreds of stars twinkled in the inky, ebony, sky above. The full moon shone its light below, as it bathed the surrounding scenery in its silvery-blue luminosity.

"Tsukune…about earlier, I apologize once again for frightening Kyoko. She embarrassed me quite a bit" Moka said as she could sense that her mate was deep in thought; or at least she believed he was, since he was being more quiet than usual.

"It's not a problem Moka. I know that she can be a handful from time-to-time, but she's not that bad once you get to know her. Like you said before, she's just probably jealous of our relationship."

"Thank you love. You may have a point. I do wish to get along better with her" Moka said as they entered the park a few minutes later.

…..

It was the very same park they had been to before, a few years ago when Kurumu and Mizore had their fight and destroyed it in the process. It happened shortly after all the girls from the Newspaper Club had shown up at Tsukune's house and caused a huge mess, during summer break of their first year. The park had been repaired since that time and was a lot nicer than it originally was. There were large trees surrounding the park on three sides. A new slide, several swing sets and a jungle gym completed the look of the park.

Moka lead Tsukune by hand towards the back of the park as she wished to have some privacy and be closer to him. Even though it was still early evening, the park itself was devoid of anyone else.

Once they reached their destination, Moka wrapped her arms around his shoulders and kissed him passionately on his lips. He returned the act of love and held her firmly in his strong, caring arms around her slender waist. Moka was being more affectionate than usual and slowly walked him in reverse until his back made contact with the large tree behind himself.

As their petting became more intense, Moka felt as if she were burning up inside and moaned loudly into his mouth which in turn caused Tsukune to become even more aroused than he already was. If they were not outside, out in the open, he would have taken her, then and there. However, that would wait for the time being as he was savoring their special moment with great enthusiasm.

Once they mutually decided to cease their contact for air, momentarily anyway, they both panted quite heavily. Tsukune was at a loss for words and just stared into her lovely, hazel-green eyes and smiled at her. The vampiress softly rested her head against his right shoulder and let out a sigh of contentment. She was honestly grateful for the seclusion and was enjoying the cool, crisp, autumn air with her fiancée.

"Ne, Tsukune?" Moka said, breaking the silence a few minutes later.

"Yes Moka?" he answered, as he still held her voluptuous figure flat against himself.

"Do you think we'll ever find our happy ending?" she asked as she held him closer.

"Well, yeah. As long as we have each other, we'll always be happy. I know for a fact that I don't have any regrets and glad that we can live in peace, away from all the drama" he said as he pulled her into his arms once again and wished for the moment to not end, anytime soon. Moka was quite happy to know that her fiancée and blood-mate felt the very same way as she did herself.

"Oh Tsukune. Thank you my love. I wish for that as well" Moka replied as her heart was moved by his honest, profound words of reassurance, She knew without a doubt that they were meant to find one another. Whatever their long future held, they would always be together. Moka and Tsukune were both lost in their own, separate ways before their meeting on that fateful first day of their freshman year.

And they were both better off for it. Neither would have to face the feeling of isolation and lonesomeness, ever again. They had both found their place in the world.
