Authors note: i haven't posted in so long...Life has been really dumb and hard for the last year..anyway..i own nothing.
~~A few weeks later…
Jackie was loving her job, her apartment, having her friends as neighbors. Her life was definitely better now than it was a few months ago. To think had she stayed with Steven she wouldn't be living this life. Her best life. She was enjoying having Liz as a friend and had to admit she was enjoying spending time with Leif. She didn't think she'd spend the rest of her life with him, but she thought that maybe they could have some fun. Liz keeps telling her to just sleep with him and get it over with and at first, she thought she was joking but now she wasn't so sure. Maybe she should just sleep with him. He seemed to like having fun, why shouldn't she have some fun too. Definitely something worth considering.
One thing that took her by surprise was W.B. She hadn't expected to hear from him after her break up with Steven; but he had said that he genuinely liked her and would like to keep in touch. She agreed and asked that he not mention it to Steven because she didn't want any unnecessary drama. He agreed. So about once a week they'd have lunch in Milwaukee and talk about different things that were going on with them. Jackie never brought up Steven, W.B would mention him every once in a while. Most recently because of the whole Sam at Glamour incident. W.B wasn't sure if he could trust Steven to run a store if he was making such bad choices with his personal life. He wasn't even sure if they should continue to try to have a relationship. Jackie had to convince W.B to give Steven another chance. She may not want him in her life right now but that didn't mean she didn't want him to know his father. She hoped they could resolve their problems but she really didn't want to be involved.
Liz had stopped by later that day, to give Jackie her list of errands for the next day. Just the usual; shopping, paying bills, mailing things, setting appointments. Nothing she couldn't handle. Leif had gone up to Brooke's apartment to drop off her list of errands, so Jackie wasn't surprised to see him at her door asking for Liz. Liz needed to look for something in storage so she left Leif and Jackie alone. Jackie liked Leif, maybe not in a boyfriend type of way but she enjoyed speaking with him. He was fun to be around and was able to hold good conversations. And boy was he handsome! Jackie had never met a man as handsome as him before. While they waited for Liz they shared some small talk, how she was adjusting to living in a different city, if she'd consider going to school, if she was dating anyone. How he enjoyed being in the United States instead of Sweden, running the club, and maybe teaching her and Brooke Swedish. Then it came up. The topic she hoped they could ignore. Their mutual attraction for one another. Leif admitted he wasn't looking for a girlfriend but he wasn't opposed to having fun. Jackie voiced her concerns about looking easy and Leif reminded her that what she does is no one's business but her own. She was a grown woman who had a job and took care of her bills, no one had a say in her life. Jackie agreed, never having thought of it in that way before. Why should she care what other people thought? The people who mattered to her were encouraging her to sleep with Leif. Especially Michael! She wasn't expecting that from him, although she should have. He thought it was a travesty that two people as good looking as her and Leif hadn't "done it" yet. Jackie rolled her eyes remembering that conversation. Leif could tell she had a lot to think about so he said he was going to go see what was taking Liz so long, but before he left, he took Jackie's face in his large hands and kissed her like no one had ever kissed her before. That was the hottest kiss she's ever received but there was something missing. Love. That kiss was amazing. But it didn't make her heart flutter like Steven's kiss did. Well, no use pining over him. Maybe she needed Leif to distract her, maybe he could help her get over Steven. She didn't think they'd fall in love but they could definitely fall in lust. Leif was about to actually leave when she called out his name.
He turned to look at her as she spoke, "Maybe you can stop by later and we can finish this discussion." she said coyly.
Leif smirked, kissed her soft on the mouth and said "Definitely."
Leif came back later that night and before the sun was able to rise for the day Jackie had been worn out and left unable to move her legs. He was definitely the best lover she ever had and she wouldn't mind a repeat performance.
Jackie woke up later than usual that day and found her friends already in her kitchen. She made her way into the kitchen to join them, wearing only a pair of her panties and Leif's oversized button up shirt. Everyone eyed her smirking. They knew what had happened but had enough tact to say nothing.
Well, everyone but Michael Kelso. "Oh yea! it's about time! "
Brooke slapped Kelso across his arm while Jackie turned a crimson red. "She'll talk about it when she's ready" Brooke scolded and Michael stayed quiet after that. Thankfully.
