Sasuke lay feeling the gentle touch of hands moving from his face to chest.
They flowed over him, mussing his tense muscles.
So many days had passed, it had been so long since he had felt them. Sakura slowly circled his cheek and then the ear.
"Sasuke-kun, what are you thinking about?" she asked quietly, not wanting to disturb the peace.
About how much I love you, he answered in his mind.
"About nothing in particular, Sakura."
She laughed, as if she had caught him in a lie. But she couldn't read his mind, of that he was sure.
"Mysterious as usual." she said, kissing him on the lips.
Sakura climbed off the bed, taking his touch and warmth with her.
"Where are you going?"
"Make breakfast."
Sasuke caught her around the waist, pulling her close. He didn't want her to leave him.
"Stay a while longer,"
"I start work in three hours."
Ah, yes. Sakura's hands were his pride and he admired her for all she did for others. But she could take time off for once, when he is finally home. And as selfish as it may sound, Sasuke could crave his wife once in a while for a whole day.
He let go of Sakura, however, kissing her fingers and whispering that he would wait.
