It was now Friday and time for the interview at the Today Show.

Kendall was more nervous since he was the newest member of the band, and he knew part of the interview would be focuses solely on him.

But for now, he was waiting backstage for his cue.

"And our special guests for today are James Diamond, and Logan Mitchell better known as Big Time Rush."

"Thank you. It's an honor to be here."

"Now, I hear that you guys are almost done with your new album, so when does it come out?"

Logan just smiled and said "actually we had to postpone are album but for good reason."

That response earned several sad groans from the audience.

"What reason could there be? Last minute songs added, or falling in love?"

"Actually," James answered "The band is getting a new member." James said which earned loud applause from the audience.

Kendall had just gotten over his nerves and was now ready to go onstage.

"And I'm getting word that this new member is here with us. So without further ado, let me introduce the newest member of Big Time Rush, Kendall Knight!"

Kendall then ran onstage and sat next to James and Logan.

"Kendall, it's nice to meet you, and have you here."

"Thank you."

"So tell me, how did you meet James and Logan?"

"Well, actually...me and James are engaged." Kendall said proudly.

"That's right. Kendall here wanted to work for our producer, but he offered Kendall a spot on the band, which he accepted, and that is why our album is still being developed."

"Wow, I can't believe this. So Logan, what about you? Do you anyone special in your life?"

"Actually yes. He's watching right now at home. His name is Carlos, and he's been best friends with Kendall since they were kids just like I've been friends with James that long."

"This just keeps getting better! So how did you and Carlos meet?"

"It was at Six Flags almost two years ago. I saw him working, and a little bit after that day James told me he set us up with blind dates. Carlos is that very person. I slowly fell in love with him, and now we're engaged with a son."

"Aww, a son?"

"He took a liking to Carlos almost right away, and now he calls Carlos his other Daddy and Kendall uncle."

"That is so adorable. So, while I have you three here, would it be possible to hear you guys sing something for us?"

"Sure." They all agreed.

It was now the week before Christmas, and Six Flags was currently having a celebration called Holiday in the Park until the first week of January.

The guys had planned to go, since it was the first time the park had done something for Christmas other than play music.

This time, Logan and Carlos parents were joining them.

However, unlike most other visits, Carlos would be working, so he could only see them when they ate, but not without the promise of joining them to celebrate after his shift, since he opened, and the park was open till 8pm.

Logan dropped off Carlos at the employee entrance, and kissed him asking him to let him know when he gets off so they can meet later.

When Logan, and the others were now entering the park, Carlos was clocking in when he was told to go to the office.

When he got there, he started to get nervous.

Did he do something wrong to piss off his manager?

Only Randy knew, and Carlos was confused.

"Carlos. How have you been?" Randy asked.

"Good. My fiancé, son, our parents, and friends are visiting the park today, and I promised them I'd spend the rest of the day with them in the park after my shift. I can't be in trouble for that, can I?"

"Of course not! I brought you here for good news."

"What kind?"

"You have been chosen by several of your employees for a certain award."

"You mean I got-"

"Yes. The Service Superstar award. Your employees have been telling me almost every week how much you deserve it, and so, I am giving you the award." Randy said with a smile.

"Thank you so much."

"And to make the award official, I have these."

Carlos then received three things.

The first was a jacket that only people who win the award get to wear. It was a navy blue with the words Six Flags Magic Mountain Service Superstar on the right front side of it.

The second was a certificate with it's own picture frame and his name in the center.

"Thank you so much." Carlos said putting the certificate in his backpack.

"One last thing." Randy said.

"Which is?"

"This." Randy said getting something out of a drawer and opening his hand to Carlos.

Carlos saw a Bugs Bunny pin in Randy's hand.

"You usually see people with pins on their name tags, but these are for only people who win this award."

"Thank you. It means a lot to have my employees nominate me for this award." Carlos said putting on the jacket.

"You're welcome. Now go enjoy your day with your family later."

When Carlos got to the Waterfront, he was greeted by plenty of congratulations.

At the same time, the park was opening, and his family had just entered the park.

"What ride do you wanna go on Zane?" Logan asked.

"Ninja, Goldrush, Scrambler, Bumper cars, and a bunch more" Zane said happily.

"Okay. Lets go to Ninja first." Logan suggested.

"Me and Kendall are gonna go on Tatsu. It's apparently the world's longest, fastest, and tallest flying coaster!" James said.

"Yeah, we didn't go on that one before. We went on Goliath, which I wanna go on again." Kendall said as they walked up a hill named Samurai Summit.

"Well, I don't know about you guys, but I really wanna go on that Superman coaster. It goes a hundred miles an hour." Mr. Mitchell said.

"Don't forget who told you about it, though." Mrs. Mitchell said as she held her husband's hand just as excited for the ride.

"I'm going on everything you all mentioned and saving Full Throttle for last." Mr. Garcia said.

"Well, now that we know what we wanna do before Carlos joins us, let's go!" James said.

"Look Daddy! It's Carlos!"

And there was Carlos walking down the hill.

"Hi, guys!"

"Carlos, where'd you get he jacket? It looks nice." James asked.

"Wait, don't tell me you actually got..." Kendall said.

"I did." Carlos said.

"Got what?" Logan asked.

"An award called service superstar. I got this jacket, this Bugs Bunny pin for my nametag, and a certificate I put in my bag, which I'll show you at home."

"That's amazing! But wait, why are walking down this big hill when you work at the bottom of it?" Logan said.

"I was helping Jo set up an ice cream cart." Carlos said.

"Ooh, ice cream!" Zane said excited.

"We'll get ice cream later Zane, right now we're gonna go on rides."

"Well, I have to go back to work, but I will see you later."

"Bye."

As the day progressed, they went on the rides that they wanted, and as tradition went to the Waterfront to get lunch and pay Carlos a visit.

As luck would have it, Carlos was helping make burgers behind the register they were at.

Carlos once again greeted his family as he got their food ready, and had agreed to meet them in an hour near the big Christmas tree near D.C. Universe when he got off work.

When he was off, it was getting dark, which only meant one ting for the park at this time of day.

The light show was about to begin.

"Logan, want to share a funnel cake before the light show begins?"

"Ooh funnel cake! Zane said happily.

"Sure. Which kind do you want, Zane?"

"The one with Vanilla ice cream."

"Okay, anyone else want funnel cakes?"

"Sure why not?" James said as he, Kendall, Logan's parents, and Carlos' parents got in line with him.

While in line, they heard some of the employees whisper.

"That's James and Logan from Big Time Rush." One employee said.

"That tall blonde guy is also in Big Time Rush. He's not only the newest member but James' fiancé." Another employee said.

" I heard That they're both engaged, and that Logan's fiancée proposed in Food Etc cause it's where they saw each other for the first time."

James couldn't help but hear, so when he got to the cash register he said "actually ladies, everything you just said is true."

"Oh my god, you...you're" The girl working the register tried to talk but couldn't say anything.

"You okay?" James asked.

"Yeah, I just can't believe a pop star just talked to me! We're such big fans."

"Thanks."

"You're welcome, now what kind of funnel cake would you like, Mr. Diamond, Knight, and Mitchell?"

"You can call us by our first names." Logan said with a smile.

"Okay." She said blushing.

After they all got funnel cakes, the light show began and also had live performers singing Christmas Carols.

As they watched the light show, and the performers, Carlos gave Logan a quick peck on the lips.

"Best way to get ready for Christmas."

"It is."

"Daddies? Can I has some of the funnel cake?" Zane asked noticing that Carlos and Logan had only eaten a small portion of theirs.

"Sure." Carlos said cutting a small piece for Zane.

While Zane ate the piece, Mrs. Mitchell went up to Carlos.

"Carlos, I forgot to tell you earlier. There's a new empty spot that we can look at tomorrow for the bakery you're planning on opening."

"Thanks, Mrs. Mitchell."

"You know Carlos, there is still some time for all of us to go on some rides together." Mr. Garcia said.

"Okay. Let's go on Bumper Cars first!"

"We go there earlier! It's fun!" Zane said.

"Did you like it?"

"Yeah, but it be more fun if you go on rides with us."

"Let's go then!" Carlos smiled

Carlos smiled at how well the day went better than he expected.
