A/N:
Well here is the long-awaited "Sleepover" chapter which I had set up 2 chapters ago. Just a reminder that the original character 'Tamiko Akasha Aono' belongs to me and cannot be used in any way, shape, or form. Same goes for any and all plot-lines, ideas, and story elements.

All other characters belong to their creators and are only being borrowed for my story.

By the way, Karin will not be a "reverse vampire" in my story like she was in the anime or manga series.

I'll also be dropping the Japanese honorific of "chan" from here on out as it was strange for me to write, LOL.

Please enjoy this all-new chapter! Any and all feedback is welcomed and appreciated.

...

Friday evening, April 10, 2015. Aono household.

Karin Maaka was moderately nervous since it was the first time she had spent an extended more than 6 hours away from home, although it was only for the night at a friend's house from school.

She had just arrived at her classmate's home and was seated in the living-room on the beige couch next to Tamiko. Tsukune and Moka sat on the adjacent loveseat with a serious look across their brows. The purple-haired girl's older brother Ren had dropped her off a short while ago without saying a word. His icy stare sent a chill down the elder vampire's spines as usual. Tamiko had already shown Karin her bedroom at the end of the second floor's hallway so she could put her overnight bag away until it was needed.

Kasumi was preoccupied in the kitchen with dinner per her regular habit since her husband would be home from work shortly.

Moka had communicated silently to her mate via their blood-bond what she had planned to do. However, she still had a rather difficult time coming up with the right words to say to Karin about her true heritage. But Tsukune calmed her down like he normally would and told her it would be alright. They both agreed that it was best to get everything out in the open before dinner and for her to approach the subject delicately. The last thing they wanted was for the poor girl to freak out.

"Karin..." Moka said as she attempted to gain her undivided attention.

"Um, yes, Misses Aono?" she replied as her mind was elsewhere while she quietly wondered to herself why her friend's parents wanted to have a "chat" with her before dinner.

"When you met Tamiko, did you feel anything strange about her?" the elder vampiress asked with a quirked eyebrow.

"Um... well... no. I don't think so, anyway," she replied with a nervous giggle.

"What about you sweetie? Did you feel anything unusual about Karin?" Moka asked her daughter with a warm smile.

"Um... well. Kind of... Maybe... I'm not sure," she answered with a weak smile.

"I see. Well I guess I'll just go ahead and say it. And Karin dear, please try to relax alright?" Moka said with another smile as she focused her hazel-green eyes on the young, Maaka girl.

"Ah, okay Misses Aono," Karin said as she wiped her brow.

"We know - that you're a vampire..." Moka softly told her.

Karin's violet eyes grew to the size of saucers and then covered her face due to a wave of anxiety.

"No no no – you can't know that. Poppa said that if anyone found out, we'd have to move again!" Karin muttered in a mild panic.

"Mommy – is it true? She's a vampire like us?" Tamiko said as she attempted to calm her friend down with a friendly embrace.

"That's right honey. Karin's a vampire like us. Well not exactly like us, but she is a vampire," Tsukune said with a weak smile of his own as he scratched the back of his neck out of nervous habit.

Karin uncovered her face and then looked at her friend Tamiko in disbelief from what she had just head a moment ago.

"My classmate's a vampire?" the chibi vampire asked.

"Um, yes. I'm a vampire like you, Karin," Tamiko replied with a warm smile as she hugged her friend even firmer.

"Ah, really?" Karin asked as her cheeks tinted pink. She was not sure if what she heard was the truth or not.

"Yes, Karin. We're vampires. Except my grandma and grandpa. They're human like my daddy was before Mommy saved his life and then turned him into a vampire when they were in high school," Tamiko simply explained.

"Maybe we should just show her," Moka said with a wide grin to Tsukune. He was unsure of why she would want to go that far, just to prove a point. She already had verified that fact, just by informing Karin they knew of her true, vampiric, heritage. It was quite simple, actually.

"Uh, is that a good idea, Moka?"

"Sure love. If it will prove to her that we are whom we claim we are, then why not?"

Moka had a good point and Tsukune had complete faith in her.

"Okay, but please try to hold your youkai back. I don't want anyone to pass out because you're too powerful."

"Of course love. You have my word," Moka said as she placed her right hand atop her left ring finger and removed the sterling silver sealing ring.

The vampiress had swapped the location of the sealing ring and wore it on her left ring finger in front of her diamond engagement ring. She and Tsukune had to act out being married already, due to the fact Tamiko's birth papers were modified by Ruby. The paper showed that she was Moka and Tsukune's biological daughter and not from an alternate world or had a different birth date.

A bright burst of pink light signaled Moka's instant metamorphosis into her true self. Tsukune mimicked her actions and yanked off the silver Rosary that was wrapped around his right wrist on a matching chain. Once the golden light faded, his eyes and hair matched Moka's red and silver.

"Oh my gosh! You are vampires!" Karin shouted as she fell to the floor due to the strong wave of youkai that flooded the living room.

"Karin – are you okay?" Tamiko asked. Karin looked up to her friend and weakly smiled with a nod.

"Shinso vampires, to be precise," Moka clarified as she gave Karin a hand off the floor and pulled her to her feet.

"Wow, I never met a Shinso before but momma told me how strong they are," Karin said once she sat down next to Tamiko. She marveled at their powerful yokai and had no idea what to make of the sudden turn of events.

"That's right Karin. My mommy and daddy are the strongest vampires in the world," Tamiko proudly said.

"Oh – I see. But how did you know that I'm a vampire?" Karin asked with a confused look across her brow.

"It's actually quite simple. We could feel your youkai, your ' monster energy', when we met you on the first day of school. Even while we have our powers sealed up by our limiters, we can still detect youkai, no matter how... small it is," Moka said as she thought about how to say it without sounding too vain.

"When I met you I could feel it too but I wasn't sure," Tamiko admitted to Karin as she poked her index fingers together out of habit.

"So that's what that was when I met you, too. But my family is different. We have a certain kind of blood 'type' we drink. My type is 'misfortune' and my brother's is 'stress.' We can drink other 'types' of blood like all vampires in order to live."

"Oh that's really neat, Karin," Tamiko said with a bright smile.

"So ah... I guess we have to keep this a secret from Chi, right?" Karin nervously inquired. Their classmate Chi was unable to attend the sleepover since she had been absent from school due to a cold.

"Well, yes. We have to. Humans cannot know about the existence of yokai. That's the condition we have to uphold in order to remain in the human world," Moka said as she crossed her arms under her abundant bosom.

"Moka's right. That's also, why we wear our limiters. It holds back the majority of our youkai but also helps us to blend in better among humans. My parents know about us of course as does the rest of my family but they're okay with it," Tsukune added as he showed the magically enchanted silver Crucifix to her.

Karin examined the Rosary that he held in his left hand with keen interest and wondered how such a small piece of silver jewelry could suppress such powerful youkai. It was rather mind-boggling to the chibi vampire, truth be told.

"Oh, I see. Would it be okay if I told my momma and poppa though? They were worried that I might have another 'episode' and would have to move again," Karin said with a heavy sigh.

"I don't see why not. We'll have to meet your parents soon to let them know that you're not alone," Tsukune said with a smile, in order to help ease Karin's rather obvious anxiety.

"Okay. Thank you Mister and Misses Aono," Karin said as she stood up with a bow.

"It's not a problem Karin. We are very glad that you're Tamiko's friend. Just watch out for each other, alright?" Moka said with a smile to her.

"Oh – of course, Misses Aono," the violet-haired girl replied when she sat down again.

"Um Karin – what did you mean by another episode?" Tamiko asked with concern in her voice.

"Well um – a few months ago – I ah... bit a boy and drank some of his blood. I didn't mean to though. I knew he was going through a hard time but I couldn't help myself. When anyone from my family drinks someone's blood, their 'problems' seem to go away for a while. He was okay after that. But it's my fault why we moved away from there," Karin said with a sniffle as the painful memory from that day bubbled to the surface.

Karin did not want to go into any further details because of who the boy was that she had bitten earlier in the year. It would be far too embarrassing, she quietly thought to herself.

"Oh – I'm really sorry to hear that Karin. I don't like blood too much yet, but mommy says I have to drink it so I can become big and strong like her," Tamiko said as she did her best to console her friend.

"Thanks Tamiko. And I guess you're right. My momma said the same thing to me too," Karin said with a nervous giggle.

"You're welcome. That's what friends are for, Karin," Tamiko said with a big smile as she glomped Karin and knocked her to the floor. Tsukune and Moka snickered at the small girl's overactive enthusiasm.

Once Moka and Tsukune replaced their limiters, Kasumi walked into the living-room to see what everyone was up to. Since Koji was already home and dinner was ready, she wanted to make sure that they were done with their little chat.

"Moka, Tsukune? Dinner's ready," she said with a smile. Tsukune opened his chocolate brown eyes and looked into his mate's hazel-green orbs with a smile. Tamiko and Karin then hopped off the couch and followed Kasumi into the dining-room.

"Well – at least Karin seems to have taken the news well," he said as Moka stood up and then pulled him to his feet.

"Yes, it would seem that way, love," Moka replied and then gave him a kiss on his cheek. She then led him by hand towards the dining room.

Koji saw his son and future daughter-in-law walk up to their seats at the table. Tsukune slid out her seat, which she gladly accepted with another smile that caused him blush at her adorable reaction. He loved to see her smile and was rather grateful that things were finally going their way for once with no major drama. It was rather refreshing, he noted.

Moka and Tsukune were also relieved that Tamiko had made a friend who just so happened to be another vampire. At least Karin was a sweet, quiet girl who was pleasant to spend her time with. Moka realized that she had worried for naught.

"Alright everyone, dig in. Don't be shy, Karin dear," Kasumi said as she turned her attention towards the purple-haired girl who sat on Tamiko's right-hand side. Across from the young girls sat Moka and Tsukune with Koji across from his wife at the opposite head of the table.

"Thank you Misses Aono," Karin said. The simple dinner consisted of traditional teriyaki; grilled pork with broiled, fresh vegetables. In front of the vampires, each sat a tall, chilled glass of tomato juice per Tsukune's request.

"Would you like some help, sweetie?" Kasumi asked as she noticed that Tamiko nearly dropped her plate and had a somewhat rather difficult time in serving herself.

"Um - I can do it grandma, thank you!" she replied. Kasumi snickered at her granddaughter's adorable behavior since she wanted to act "grown up" in front of her new friend.

"Alright sweetie. I understand. I guess you're a big girl, now," Kasumi replied with another laugh.

Once everyone's plates were full, they called out "Itadakimasu!" in unison.

"Wow, Misses Aono, this is really good!" Karin complimented with a wide grin, after her first mouthful. Tamiko hummed in agreement.

"Yeah mom, this is great," Tsukune added a moment later.

"M-mm. I have to agree. This is quite delicious, mom," Moka said.

"M-mm. So good!" Koji remarked.

"Oh, thank you everyone. It's actually quite easy to make," Kasumi answered with a blush of her own.

After dinner was finished, Tamiko led Karin into the living room and switched on the wall-mounted, big-screen, LCD television and her Nintendo Wii game system. She then slid in the "Mario Cart" game disk and pressed the 'enter' button on her wireless controller. Karin sat down on the beige couch next to Tamiko as the game loaded.

"Here Karin, you can pick a car here and then you steer it like this and press this button to go and this one to stop," Tamiko explained as she showed her friend how to control her on-screen go-cart with a back-and-forth motion as if she were driving an actual vehicle.

"Oh I see. That's so cool," Karin said with a bright grin.

"I'm picking Mario," Tamiko said as she pointed her controller towards the red-clad, plumber's matching go-cart.

"I'll pick the Princess," Karin said.

"Okay, ready... set... go!" Tamiko said as the screen counted down from 5 to 1. As each girl steered their on-screen, digital go-cart, they laughed at how silly it was to move around like that, but that is the way the game system was created. At least they would get some exercise too, right?

"Wah! I crashed!" Karin exclaimed. Moka and Tsukune peeked into the living room to see what the girls were up to.

"It's okay – see... it comes back on the track by itself," Tamiko said as she had paused the game for a second.

"Oh okay – that was kinda scary," Karin commented with a sweat-drop.

"You're so funny Karin," the raven-haired vampire replied as she stood up and got into 'competitive' mode.

"Remind you of anyone?" Tsukune asked Moka with a laugh.

"Well, maybe a little bit," she answered with a blush across her cheeks. Moka knew that he meant her, of course. She had quite a competitive streak, a kilometer wide. Adopted or not, Tamiko was very much like herself, she noted as did her fiancé.

"Having fun girls?" Moka asked as she walked into the actual living room itself, Tsukune right behind her.

"Not now mommy. Racing," Tamiko said as she stood in the center of the room while Karin remained seated on the couch.

"Oh, alright sweetie. If you need anything at all, you can ask your grandparents. Daddy and I will be upstairs," the vampiress replied as she turned around, grabbed Tsukune's hand, and let the girls be for now.

"Okay mommy. Have fun with daddy," Tamiko replied which caught Karin off-guard by her bold statement.

"Tamiko... what the heck?" Karin replied. She did not get an answer of course since Tamiko was far too engrossed in the video game to think about anything else at the time.

"Ah! I lost. How did I lose? I never lose," Tamiko, lamented a few, moments later.

"Sorry. I guess I got lucky," Karin said as she placed her left hand on her friend's right shoulder.

"Okay! One more race!" the ebony-haired vampire said as she fist-pumped her right fist into the air.

...

"Excuse me, girls. Would you like some popcorn?" Koji said as he wandered into the living room to check on them ten minutes later. He heard a lot of noise, which was to be expected from a pair of rambunctious five year-old's.

"Oh grandpa! Yes please!" Tamiko said as she pressed the pause button on her Wii-mote controller and then set it on the couch.

"Yay – popcorn," Karin said as the buttery scent wafted into her sensitive nose.

"Here, I brought some napkins, too," Koji said as he placed the large, red, bowl on the small, wooden table that sat in the corner between the couch and the loveseat.

"Thank you very much, grandpa!" Tamiko said as she dug into the crunchy treat, as did Karin.

"You're welcome girls. If you need anything at all, grandma and I will be in the kitchen, okay?" he offered with a warm smile.

"Okay grandpa. Thank you!" Tamiko beamed back.

"Ah – thank you for everything, Mister Aono," Karin said with a bow.

"You're both welcome, girls. Have fun, okay?" he said as he swiftly left the girls to themselves.

"Your grandparents are really nice," Karin stated between bites of the salty treat.

Tamiko just smiled at her friend and nodded her head 'yes'.

...

Meanwhile in Tsukune and Moka's bedroom upstairs..

"~ Tsukune..." Moka whispered in a seductive tone.

"M-mmm?" he lazily replied as Moka climbed on top of him.

"Since the girls are playing, I thought that we could 'play' ourselves."

"Oh is that so? What did you have in mind?" he asked since his curiosity was piqued.

"Let's play doctor."

"Doctor?" he repeated, unsure of what she meant by that odd phrase.

"Sure. I'll be the patient and you can be my doctor," she said with a mischievous grin.

"You're joking, right?" he asked as he looked into her gorgeous, hazel-green eyes.

"Please? Just play along. Trust me, okay love? It will be well worth it," she said as she leaned forward and then softly kissed him on his lips.

"Okay, Sure. Um, whenever you're ready," he said as she sat up from the futon and walked by the door. As she opened the door, she gave him a wink and stepped into the hallway.

* knock knock knock * came a tap upon the door a few seconds later.

"Come in, please," 'Doctor' Tsukune, answered. Moka then opened the door and walked into the bedroom with a pained expression upon her face.

"Oh Doctor Aono!" she said as she walked up to him, leaned against his chest, and looked into his kind eyes.

"What seems to be the problem, Miss Akashiya?" he asked as he placed both of his hands on her shoulders and assisted her to stand upright.

"Doctor... I have this tight feeling in my chest – right here," she said as she grabbed both of his hands and placed them on her ample bosom.

"Oh I see," he said as he went along with her little charade.

"Doctor – please do something. My breasts feel so heavy," she breathed out as her cheeks tinted bright pink.

"Oh – here. Let me help you remove your top," he said with a serious look. He then slowly unbuttoned her short-sleeved, white blouse, button by button. As he reached the last button a few, moments later, Moka let out a sigh of relief. She then bit her bottom lip in an adorable manner, which caused his heart to pound heavily in his ribcage.

'Oh my kami – she looks so cute. Ah, I'm getting really turned on," Tsukune screamed in his mind as he attempted to remain focused on the task at hand and stay in character. Or at least try to, anyway.

"Oh – um. Of course, Miss Akashiya," he said as she pressed her impressive chest against his, as she silently pleaded to be touched by her one and only blood-mate. He then placed his hands atop her frilly, pink bra. Slowly but tenderly he began to massage her soft, yet firm, bosom.

"Ahhh... doctor... ahhhngh... oh kami... yes... ahhh.. oh kami... more... oh kami yes..." Moka breathed out as she slowly fluttered her eyes closed in ecstasy.

* knock knock knock * came another tap on their bedroom door.

"Yes?" Tsukune asked as Moka quickly threw on her white shirt and buttoned it up as fast as possible.

"Mommy? Daddy?" came the voice from the other side of the still-locked door. With a sigh of defeat, Tsukune walked over to the door and unlocked it. And just when things were going so well for the ebony-haired male.

"Yes honey?" he asked as he looked at Tamiko and Karen who stood in the hallway.

"May we please borrow mommy's karaoke machine?" their cuter-than-average daughter asked with a toothy grin.

"You want to sing, sweetie?" Moka inquired. Her face was still flushed from what Tsukune had done to her just a few, moments before. Tamiko had a talent of knowing when they were fooling around, it would seem.

"Um, yes – if it's okay mommy," she said with a smile that Moka had a weakness against.

"Yes, of course sweetie. We'll bring it downstairs for you in a minute, alright?"

"Yay! You're the best, mommy," Tamiko exclaimed as she gave Moka a warm hug then ran downstairs, Karin hot on her heels.

"Don't worry 'doctor'. We'll continue my 'checkup' later on," Moka said as she walked up to him, wrapped her arms around his waist, and gave him a peck on his lips.

"Uh, um - sure, Moka. Besides, we get to hear her sing," he said with a smile.

"Why don't you bring this downstairs and I'll meet you there in a moment, after I freshen up?" Moka asked as she pointed at the karaoke machine that sat in the far corner of their bedroom, next to the dresser.

"Oh sure thing. Take your time, beautiful," he said as he unplugged it from the outlet, picked it up, and then left their room.

"Thank you love. I'll be down in a few minutes."

Once the coast was clear, Moka walked over to the window, pulled up the shade and then opened the window. She then quickly removed her limiter and unsealed her true self. Her ruby red eyes then scanned the surrounding area before she saw what she was looking for.

"I know you are out there, so you might as well make yourself known, vampire," the silver-haired vampiress firmly stated as she focused her youkai outward and pinpointed his exact location like a bat would its prey.

A moment later, a tall man with dark hair and red eyes climbed down to the branch that was adjacent to the window. He was dressed all in black, which also included a high-collared cape that was draped around his wide shoulders.

"I guess you found me," he sheepishly replied.

"It was not very difficult. I could sense your youkai the minute you came close to the house," Moka said in annoyance with a low growl.

"I'm sorry. I'm Karin's father, Henry Marker. I mean Maaka. Nice to meet you," he said with a bow and nearly fell off the thick branch of the tree.

"The pleasure's mine. However, it's not very nice to spy on people, Mister Maaka."

"I apologize Misses Aono. I just wanted to make sure my baby girl was all right. So I guess you know of our family secret," Henry replied with a sweat-drop. Moka pushed out her yokai once more and nearly caused the elder vampire to fall out of the tree. A 6 to 8 meter fall would not hurt him, but he would be pretty sore afterward.

"Karin and Tamiko are getting along very well so you have no need to worry, Mister Maaka. And yes, you could say that we are very much alike. Family secrets and all that," Moka said with a shrug.

"I see. Good to know. I'll be off now. And please don't tell my baby girl that I came by to check up on her," he said as he stood to his full height and grabbed the branch above him for support.

"Of course. Have a good night Mister Maaka. And if you come by unannounced in the future, I'll be more than happy to show you your place," Moka said as she glared at the taller, male vampire.

"Uh – of course Misses Aono. Farewell," Henry said with another sweat-drop as he jumped down and disappeared from sight. Moka swiftly closed the window and then locked it. After she pulled the window shade down, she sat on the futon bed and replaced the silver ring on her left, ring finger. The vampiress then slumped back onto the plush mattress as the limiter's magic sealed up her youkai.

Once Moka came to a few, minutes later, she sat up and walked over to the dresser. She then brushed her long, auburn hair behind her ears and then picked up the bottle of her favorite perfume. After she had spayed a few spritzes behind her ears, she set the glass container down and the left the bedroom, since everyone was downstairs and waited for her arrival.

...

"Mommy - what took you so long?" Tamiko asked as soon as Moka walked into the living room. Koji and Kasumi sat next to Karin and their granddaughter on the beige couch.

"Sorry about that sweetie. I just got a bit – sidetracked, that's all," Moka said as she sat on the loveseat next to Tsukune who had a worried look in his eyes.

"Is everything alright Moka?" he asked in a concerned tone. She placed her left hand on top of his and gave it a gentle, reaffirming squeeze.

"Yes love. All is well," she said with a small smile.

"Alright. If you say so," he said as he reciprocated the simple act of affection.

"We can talk about it later, love."

"Okay. No worries then, I guess," he said with a nervous laugh. He decided to leave that be for now and focus his thoughts elsewhere.

"So what are you going to sing, sweetie?" Moka asked as she turned her attention towards her adopted daughter. No sense in worrying anyone, especially her mate of their recent, unexpected visitor, Henry Maaka. She would tell him later on of course.

"Um- Pon Pon Pon by Kyary," she replied as a light blush swept across her cheeks.

"Oh I heard of her. She's pretty neat," Karin said as Tamiko hopped off the sofa and trotted over to the karaoke machine. After she pressed the play button, she unhooked the attached microphone from the side and waited for the musical cue.

As the familiar tune began, Tamiko faced her family and friend with a bright smile as she struck a pose. Right hand held high up with her other hand firmly placed on her left hip. She then shook her hips from left to right, in beat with the musical tune.

As the song came to its eventual conclusion, everyone stood up and clapped heartily. Tamiko took a bow with another smile. Her family members were quite stunned at just how well the little girl sung and kept in pace to the musical composition's beat and danced at the same time, which was not always easy for any performer, professional or not, especially to such a "bubblegum-pop" style of music.

Karin jumped off the couch, ran up to Tamiko, and gave her a hug, much to the ebony-haired vampire's surprise.

"That was awesome, Tamiko!" Karin said once the awkward embrace ended.

'"Um, thanks Karin. I saw her at Disneyland and wanted to try the song myself," Tamiko replied as she placed the microphone back in its holder and then switched the karaoke machine's power off. She quickly sat down next to her grandmother, with Karin on her right.

"Your friend's right, sweetie. That was very good. Almost as good as your mommy," Kasumi said. She was honestly surprised just how well the five year-old's voice sounded at such a young age.

"Your grandma does have a point. You sounded very nice sweetie. Perhaps you could take singing lessons if you'd like to, as did I when I was your age," Moka said with a smile.

"Really mommy?" Tamiko asked with a wide, happy, grin.

"If that's what you'd like, then I don't see why not. I do happen to know of someone who might be willing to give you lessons," Moka replied back once she thought it over for a moment. Tsukune knew where Moka was going with that idea, without even asking.

"Um, okay mommy. I'd like to take singing lessons then," she answered back as her cheeks tinted pink from the very notion.

"You mean Ayumi, right Moka?" Tsukune added in since he had wanted to be a part of the current conversation.

"Of course love. I'm sure she'd more than happy to help out our little prodigy."

"You know Ayumi Hamasaki?" Karin asked rather excitedly.

"Yes Karin. We became friends late, last year. We've even gone shopping a few times in Harajuku, Omotesandō, and Shibuya. She's actually very nice in person and quite down-to-earth," Moka explained.

"Wow. That's amazing Misses Aono. Did you hear that Tamiko? You get to have Ayumi Hamasaki give you lessons. You're so lucky!" Karin said with a squeal of exhilaration.

"Well you're more than welcome to meet her for yourself. Unless your family has any – objections, naturally," Moka answered.

"Really Misses Aono? Ah – I don't think poppa would mind..." Karin answered with a sweat-drop.

"Of course – you are Tamiko's friend, after-all."

"Ah – thank you for that Misses Aono," Karin replied with a bow,

"Think nothing of it, Karin."

"So what are you girls going to do next? It's still a bit early," Kasumi wondered aloud.

"Are you girls going to talk about boys all night?" Moka teased.

"Mommy! I don't like boys yet!" Tamiko huffed out, her face bright red from such an outlandish question.

"Yeah, me either!" Karin chimed in.

"Sorry girls, I was only joking," Moka said, followed with a laugh. Children were so easy to tease!

"It's okay mommy. I know," Tamiko replied as Moka stood up, walked over to her side, and gave her daughter a warm hug.

"Mommy! Can't breathe!" she loudly objected as she waved her hands about in a futile endeavor to escape Moka's "hug of doom".

"Sorry about that sweetie. But you're so cute!" Moka said as she pulled Tamiko into her soft bosom, which only furthered Tamiko's embarrassment.

'Hey... where's my hug?' Tsukune wordlessly asked nobody in particular.

"Don't worry love, you'll get your chance soon enough," Moka said as she let Tamiko go, who quickly walked over to the couch and sat down in between Kasumi and Karin.

"Mommy's acting scary again," Tamiko teased in return.

"My momma's a lot scarier. Like whenever poppa does something stupid, she always beats him over the head with her slippers," Karin said with a small laugh.

"Really?" Tamiko asked.

"Ah, yes. I love poppa but sometimes he acts so silly."

Moka had to stifle her own laughter as she now realized what Karin's mother would do to Henry if she knew that he had snuck out of their house to "checkup" on Karin. The vampiress would pay a million yen to see that little display of swift punishment, without question.

After Tamiko sang another song, she yawned loudly. Karin repeated the action which Moka found to be quite amusing.

"Are you sleepy, sweetie?" Kasumi asked in a caring tone. Tamiko yawned yet again, this time she had shown her fangs.

"Alright then young lady - time for bed. Your grandfather will be here tomorrow so try to get to sleep early. Would you like for me to tuck you in?" Moka asked with a grin.

"Okay mommy. Um – no thank you. That's okay. Goodnight!" Tamiko said as she ran over to her parents and gave them a quick hug. She then grabbed Karin's hand a practically dragged her upstairs. A moment later, they heard a loud slam. The four adults laughed at her trying to act like a grown up.

"Well, we should get to bed too," Tsukune said as he stood up and stretched his arms over his head. Moka took his not-so-subtle suggestion and followed suit.

"Alright you two - have a good night," Koji said as Kasumi scooted closer to him and placed her hand on his lap.

"You too mom and dad. Let's go Moka," Tsukune said as he held his fiancée's hand and led her upstairs. The last thing he wanted to see was his parents act like a pair of hormone-driven teenagers. That was his and Moka's job, for crying out loud! Besides, who would want to even write that scenario? I know I wouldn't!

As soon as the vampire couple reached their room, Tsukune let out a heavy sigh. To get his mind off that unpleasant scene he had just witnessed first hand, he sat down on their futon bed. Moka then crawled into his lap, draped her arms around his neck, and pulled him into her firm bosom. He deeply inhaled her womanly scent which reminded him of lavender and strawberries, which fogged his mind up a bit.

"Are you feeling better now?" she asked with a hint of concern in her voice.

"Yeah, thanks Moka."

"You're welcome, love. I wouldn't want to see that either," she said with a giggle.

"I love my folks but they can act so childish sometimes."

"I know love. Remember earlier when I had you meet me downstairs, well, we - had an uninvited guest..."

"You don't say. Anybody we know, Moka?"

"Well - um - it was Karin's father – he came by to check on her. I told him he had nothing to worry about and that we're vampires as well. He was quite surprised to say the very least," Moka said with another chuckle.

"So that's what that was. I thought I heard bats outside, but I wasn't sure."

"Well some vampires do use bats as familiars, like Kokoa does," Moka replied as she looked into his kind, chocolate, orbs with a smile.

"I see. So – um – would you like to - uh - continue from before?" he asked with a warm smile that caused her heart to hammer heavily against her full bosom.

*THUD!*

"What was that? It sounded like it came from Tamiko's room," Moka said in a mild panic as she quickly sat up from her seated position. Tsukune stood up likewise, and walked towards the door.

"I'll check on the girls. Why don't you disrobe for your exam, Miss Akashiya?" he said with a wink, which caused her to cutely blush in return.

"Oh. Okay, doctor. But please hurry back. I feel a fever coming on," she said as she placed the back of her right hand against her forehead.

"O-of course."

Tsukune then quickly opened the door and stepped into the hallway. He walked up to his daughter's room and heard boisterous laughter coming from inside.

*knock knock knock*

"Yes? Who is it?" A small voice replied from the other side of the bedroom door.

"It's me honey. Are you girls okay?" Tsukune answered. The door then unlocked and slowly opened. Tamiko and Karin's faces were beet red. As he looked into her bedroom, he was shocked senseless at what he saw before his very eyes.

"What the heck happened in here?" he questioned in disbelief.

"Um - we had a pillow fight," Tamiko replied with a sweat-drop.

"It looks like your pillows exploded."

There were literally thousands of tiny, white, feathers scattered on every, square centimeter of her bedroom - including those stuck to the two girl's pajamas and to the top of their heads as well.

"I'm sorry Mister Aono. I started the pillow fight," Karin said with a bow. Tsukune then burst out laughing and nearly fell to the floor. He had to hold onto the door frame for support. It was such a ridiculous sight, to say the least.

Once he regained his sanity a few moments later, he knelt down and gave Tamiko a warm hug,

"You're not mad, daddy?" she asked as she returned the surprise embrace.

"Why would I be mad?" he asked with a chuckle.

"Well, we ruined my pillows," Tamiko said with a slight pout.

"Don't worry about it, honey. Actually - your cousin Kyoko and I did the same thing when I was your age," he said with a laugh.

"Really, daddy? Was grandma mad at you, way back then?" Tamiko asked as she furrowed her brow.

"Well she was a little bit. Anyway - we have spare pillows in the linen closet next to the bathroom. You'll both have to clean this mess up in the morning though, okay?" he said as he lovingly patted Tamiko on the head who smiled at the affectionate gesture.

"Okay, thank you daddy."

"Um – thank you Mister Aono. And once again we're both very sorry," Karin said with a bow.

"No worries girls. You can go and find the pillows - then straight to sleep, okay?" he said as he turned around and started the short walk back to his and Moka's bedroom. Tamiko and Karin followed behind him and then walked down to the end of the hallway.

"Goodnight girls."

"Goodnight," they replied in unison after they opened the closet and looked inside.

Once Tamiko found two more pillows, she and Karin went back to her bedroom without saying another word. The little vampire girls were both fast asleep as soon as their heads hit their pillows.

"Hello Miss Akashiya," Tsukune said once he opened their bedroom door. When he saw Moka, she was ready for her "physical examination" wrapped only in a bed sheet.

She had unsealed her true self as well, per her habit before heading off to bed every night. Her gorgeous, crimson eyes sparkled with mischief as he slowly approached her. He quickly placed his left hand over the silver crucifix that dangled off the chain wrapped around his right wrist, and gave it a sharp pull. Once the golden light vanished, his hair and eyes mirrored his blood-mate's.

"Hello doctor."

"So what seems to be the problem this time, Miss Akashiya?"

"Well doctor, my body seems to be burning up," she said as she unraveled the white, cotton sheet that was wrapped around her flawless body.

"Wow – oh um – I see," as his face turned a deeper shade of red.

'Oh kami - she looks so beautiful tonight. My sweet Moka,' the male vampire told himself.

"Doctor – aren't you going to take my temperature with your thermometer?" she asked with a wink. Once he understood what she meant by her equivocal statement, his face burned even brighter.

"Oh – of course, Miss Akashiya."

"Oh doctor!" she cried out in euphoria.

Author's Note:

I worked on this chapter for 3 days, on and off. It came out better than I expected and left it as a cliffhanger, since it is rated K.

A few things: like I said earlier, Karin will not be a 'reverse vampire' in this story. She will still have a certain type of blood she or any family members are attracted too, but it won't be often. I added her father, Henry Maaka as a bit of comic relief. He will show up in a future chapter as will his wife, Calera or even their son, Ren.

Anju (Karin's little sister) won't be in the story, since she is much younger than Karen - who is nearly 6 by this point in time.

I also added the part about Moka wanting to play doctor, mostly as filler since I honestly had a difficult time coming up with Tamiko and Karin to do for the sleepover. I hope everyone liked this chapter. If you have any good ideas for future chapters, please be sure to leave a comment below. Same goes if you have anything that you liked about this chapter. I do love feedback and reviews, but I don't beg for them.

The next chapter is already been set up.

And the title will be "Guess who's Coming to Dinner?" and will be out in about a week or so.
