Road to Backlash

Week 2

As a WWE Superstar, Naruto is required to have a residence in the United States of America. During his time on his NJPW excursion, he obtained dual citizenship in the States but rented an RV with his own money to quickly move around the country for bookings.

When he started with WWE, Minato and Kushina used company funds to buy Naruto a house in Orlando, Florida; paid in full. It wasn't a luxury mansion, but it was a big house with the necessary accessories, and more importantly, within driving distance to the WWE Performance Center. It was the only bone they threw at Naruto, who haven't asked them for anything during this journey as a pro wrestler.

On a typical off day, Naruto would wake up early, untangle his limbs from anyone in bed with him at the time, and go for a light jog around the neighborhood and local parks. Upon return, he and any guest would have a light breakfast set up by the housemaids; the latter all from Japan and hired by his parents. From there, he would exercise in his home gym before having the afternoon and evening to himself; unless he was booked for an interview or a house show. Now that he was champion, the latter would be rare.

"You know, in the back of my mind when I left, I knew you wouldn't have a hard time getting another girl. But that gal upstairs? I feel worried." Alexa mused, stretching as Naruto lifted weights. "She's been floating between AEW Dark Elevation and NXT as a free agent, and now she's in the former as an NXT Superstar. Did you have something to do with that?"

"No. She got in on her own merits. Tina is more friends-with-benefits, and she isn't the only one. And no, you shouldn't be worried…" Naruto replied and set down the weights. "Unless you intend to follow the buzzards again."

"Keep hitting me with that, Naruto. We'll be laughing about these exchanges over drinks in a few months' time." Alexa scoffed, walking over to him.

"I still don't approve of you moving back in with me." Naruto drawled as Alexa sat down

"Yet you never stopped me." Alexa countered, sticking her tongue out.

"Only to see what my mom and sisters will do to you." Naruto grinned, seeing Alexa flinch. "Do you have any idea what it took for me to stop my sisters from crossing company lines and embarrassing you on national television? Spoiler, a lot! And my mom? She was even more difficult to rein in! I'm no momma's boy like you Americans say, but geez! Spooky bollocks was not going to save you from her!"

"I-I kinda figured, so I've been brushing up on my Japanese, and," she reached into a bag next to her and pulled out two books, a Japanese language book, and a cookbook. "You and your family like ramen, right?"

"Yeah, why- Oh I see. If you screw up," Naruto grimaced as the housemaid came in to deliver refreshments. "Remember that one guy, Daniel Puder? Royal Rumble 2005? That incident will be considered tame compared to what she'll do to you."

"...Good to have motivation," Alexa said meekly as she took a glass of water offered to her. "Thank you, Hibana-san. By the way, I'm surprised no one's got on your case about having housemaids."

"Thank you, Hinata-chan. Why do you think I barely use social media?" Naruto chuckled before the other housemaid, Hanabi, cheekily sat on his lap. "Oof! C'mon, I'm working out here!"

"There are other ways of working out, it seems," Alexa noted, chuckling as Naruto tried unsuccessfully to get the girl off him.

"Not helping!"

Chapter 03: A Common Enemy

WWE Raw was in Seattle, Washington at the Climate Pledge Arena. It was looking to be a good show as well, but several flight delays hindered and altered the matches planned for tonight. Luckily Naruto and Alexa managed to avoid the flight issues by flying in a day early together. The orange Hummer limo was waiting for them, along with a security detail hired by Minato and Kushina, not the WWE. Fortunately, Naruto knew them, so the ride was pleasant.

John, Ben, Lemon, Tangerine, Himeno, and Yoko Minato.

"Ah, Naruto, you're here. And Alexa. I won't ask," Pearce said as Naruto scowled at him. "And I see you have your own security force."

"Wasn't my idea, but I can't complain. I know them and they're the best in the business." Naruto said proudly. "So what's this about everyone being late?"

"Right. There are flight issues all around. As a result, several WWE Superstars were late and had yet to arrive at the show. However, you will be in the main event, Naruto!" Pearce said, with Naruto looking interesting. "You will team up with Kevin Owens to take on The Usos and Solo Sikoa!"

"...Pearce-san… That's a handicap match." Naruto grounded out, eye twitching.

"I know. Sami Zayn and Matt Riddle have yet to arrive and this was done last minute. And this was the only way Heyman would say yes." Pearce explained, with Naruto looking irked.

"Heyman still got you by the balls, huh?" Alexa guessed with a smirk.

"In all his years, he has a lot of dirt on officials to get things done," Pearce admitted. "He goes over my head a lot."

"Nothing new there," Naruto said before leading Alexa and his security to the locker room.

Raw rolled on, with Finn Balor defeating Rey Mysterio thanks to the latter's wayward son Dominik. Then there was the Women's Tag Team Championship match, where Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan defeated Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus, the latter replacing Lita who was taken out earlier in the day. Trish then turned heel and attacked Becky from behind.

And now, Cathy Kelley was backstage with Paul Heyman, the latter with his usual condescending look of contempt.

Once again, he dodged the question of Brock Lesnar's sudden involvement with The Bloodline, l providing his own line of questioning by imitating Cathy's voice before going on his usual rant.

Naruto and Kevin are more than just a problem. Naruto and Kevin have a problem.

Sami Zayn and Matt Riddle are not at the arena, and they were actually running scared from Solo by "getting a later flight".

Kevin is not the brightest like Sami and Riddle, has few friends, and one leg; which will drag down Naruto in their handicap match.

He puts over the Enforcer Solo because why not.

If it were just Kevin to deal with, the night would go smoother, but Naruto and his crazy ex sadly made it to the arena.

Naruto was the luckiest man in the world, getting the belts off a weakened Tribal Chief, and getting his girl back. But come Backlash, his luck will run out, his title run will be nothing more than a pipe dream, and the Tribal Chief will regain his rightful throne.

…

Sometime later after Cody gave his grand speech to take on Brock Lesnar, Naruto was in his locker room with Alexa, Kevin, and Naruto's security detail.

"Heyman is quite the guy; from up-and-coming promoter to loyal asskisser. I understand he needs some kind of meal ticket, but geez~ At least Brock ain't coming for me…yet," Naruto shook his head. "Backlash can't get here sooner."

"Tell me about it. We're supposed to be done with The Bloodline after WrestleMania, but Heyman got The Usos a title rematch that'll happen soon." Kevin grumbled.

"Don't worry about it. You and Sami have beaten the Usos on the Grandest Stage of them all." Naruto assured him. "But let's focus on tonight. You and me versus The Usos and Solo Sikoa in a handicap match."

"It's not exactly a handicap match when you have me in your corner." Alexa quipped with a devious smirk.

Kevin just stared at her before asking Naruto. "Are you sure about this? I do remember what she and The Fiend did to you."

"Don't remind me. She won't go away, so I might as well keep her close," Naruto growled out, eye twitching as he scowled at a mischievous-looking Alexa. "Just make sure Heyman doesn't try anything."

"Roger Dodger!" Alexa replied with a salute.

"If you say so," Kevin said, still looking unsure.

"Let me worry about my love life, Kev. Tonight, The Bloodline gets humbled." Naruto said and gestured to his security force. "Escort our cameraman out. We have a game plan to go through."

"Yes, Boss!" Himeno said cheerfully and pushed the cameraman out.

…

It was the main event, and both teams have done their entrances and spent the commercial break staring each other down in the ring. Alexa was pacing around ringside with Kyubi in hand, keeping an eye on Heyman, who nervously kept her in the corner of his eye.

Naruto started the match for his team, with Solo Sikoa starting for his brothers. The blonde gazed at Solo in disappointment, as they were former tag team partners that were taking off in NXT. But just as they were to challenge for the NXT Tag Team Championships, Solo was called upon by the Samoan Elders to aid Roman Reigns against Drew McIntyre at Clash at the Castle in Cardiff, Wales last year. Naruto was happy for him at first, that was until Solo ghosted him when he returned and defeated Carmelo Hayes to win the NXT North American Championship. And now, Naruto was still feeling sour towards Solo, with whom he showed nothing but respect and friendship. But now, he was a barrier that had to be dealt with, and the new champion had nothing to say to him.

The bell rang, and the match was underway as the two former tag team partners circled each other. They paused, sizing each other up before locking horns. Naruto was strong, but Solo had the stronger power game between the two, with the Enforcer successfully pushing Naruto to one of the four corners. He held him until Naruto moved under the ropes, forcing a break. Jey tried to get close, but Alexa strode over and pointed Kyubi at him, keeping the Uso back. Naruto pointed at him warningly and engaged Solo again.

They locked up again. Solo tried to push him into a corner again. Still, Naruto repositioned himself and pushed Solo against the ropes, causing the referee to administer the five-count, stopping at four when Solo backed off. But when he did, Naruto smacked him with an open-palm strike. Solo didn't flinch, but he was enraged and charged at Naruto, who dropkicked his knee, tripping him into the ropes. Naruto went for the 619, but Solo ducked at the last moment and swung with the Samoan Spike. Naruto blocked it and hit him with a side-headbutt, stunning Solo.

This opening allowed Naruto to connect with quick right jabs that pushed Solo to the opposite corner, but Naruto didn't stop his barrage as he switched to pure MMA-like strikes that would impress even The Undertaker; with the last strike lifting Solo up and collapsing him in the corner. Naruto stomped with abandon until the five-count stopped him at four. Naruto then ran to the corner and charged at him. Solo burst up and tried for a Lariat, but Naruto managed to grab his arm, flip himself over, and leaped up for a Foxshot that staggered Solo and dropped him to a knee, opening himself up for a Rage Drive that dropped him to the mat.

"Tag me! Lemme at him!" Kevin shouted from the apron.

Naruto nodded, lifting up Solo, and pushed him to his team's corner. The champ held him there as he tagged Kevin in. Kevin blasted the Enforcer in his ribs with a stiff jab and went to town with punches as Naruto stepped onto the apron since he was no longer the legal man.

Kevin went to town on Solo to avenge the attack on his leg last week. However, Kevin was still hurt from said attack, allowing Solo to stun him a couple of times with kicks to the Prizefighter's injured leg. Kevin fought back valiantly but was distracted by one of the Usos catching his attention, and ran into a Samoan Drop.

Naruto grimaced but stayed in his corner as the one-sided beatdown began at the start of the commercial break. All throughout the latter, the Samoan brothers targeted Kevin's leg, tagging each other in and out to each themselves fresh. Twice, they pointed and taunted Naruto to get into the ring, but Naruto didn't take the bait, leaving The Usos and Solo fewer opportunities to cheat behind the ref's back; getting caught a few times.

At the beginning of his career, Naruto's temper would get the best of him in tag team matches, but after training with the Briscoes in ROH (after getting taken similar to Jon Moxley taking in Umino Shota), Naruto learned the in and outs of tag team wrestling. It was thanks to them that he knew what and what not to do, making sure to wait for the right time to strike, assist, and get tagged in.

Like now.

Jimmy went over to taunt Naruto again when the latter suddenly huffed and blew Poison Mist at him. A shocked Jimmy managed to avoid it, but left himself open to a Superkick by Kevin, knocking the twin down. Jey tried to clear the ropes, but Kevin made the tag to Naruto, who hopped over the ropes.

He Lariated Jimmy, elbowed Solo off the apron, and back-elbowed Jey. He ducked to avoid Jimmy's Splash into the turnbuckle, and delivered The People-style punches to Jimmy in the corner. He continued punching Jimmy down and stomped him into the mat. He ran to his corner, before charging at Jimmy. Solo tried to intercept, but Naruto evaded and countered with a Foxshot to the side of Solo's head again.

Jey tried his hand but ate an elbow to the side of his head. "Come on!" Naruto yelled and struck with another elbow. Jey got the cobwebs out of his head and responded with an elbow of his own. For Naruto, it didn't even tickle, as it was not on the caliber of Minoru Suzuki's deadly elbow strikes. He scoffed, flashing a sadistic grin, and blasted Jey with an extremely hard elbow strike dubbed the Suzuki Elbow, collapsing the Uso twin to the mat.

"Roman's holding him back!" The blonde yelled at a concerned Heyman as he dragged Jey up. "He's holding both Usos back! Even Solo! And deep in your heart of hearts, no matter how much ass-kissing you do, you know it's damn true!"

Naruto was then chopped across the chest, but it didn't faze him as he smiled at the camera, the blonde countering with another Suzuki Elbow, knocking Jey for a loop. Naruto held onto him and lifted the Samoan on his shoulders, ready to bring him down with Made in Japan. But he was ambushed by Jey's brother, who dragged Jey down and attacked Naruto. Kevin ran from his corner to assist, going after Solo, leaving Naruto with Jimmy and Jey.

Jimmy struck at Naruto, who absorbed the shots and connected with a side headbutt, followed by a European Uppercut, causing Jimmy to stagger to the ropes. Naruto followed up with a Rage Drive, hit the ropes, and followed with another Rage Drive, knocking Jimmy for a loop. Naruto then lifted Jimmy up, brought him down with the Made of Japan, and went for the cover.

One!

Two!

Jey managed to break it up at two.

Naruto looked irked and went after Jey, laying in elbows. Kevin and Solo were still brawling on the outside, so Naruto had the Usos to himself. Naruto drove Jey to the corner, uppercutted him, and lifted him to the top turnbuckle. Heyman decided to take this time to climb on the apron and yelled at Naruto, who narrowed his eyes at the man and jabbed Jey without looking. Heyman looked livid and was about to yell again when Alexa pulled him down by his leg, knocking his head on the apron and incapacitating him.

Naruto gave her a thumbs-up before seeing Jimmy charging toward him. He dropped down and dropkicked him in his shin, sending him headfirst into the middle turnbuckle. But as Naruto was on the mat, he saw Jey falling on him for a Splash and raised his knees up for Jey to land stomach-first on them. Jey wheezed, the air knocked out of him as he was on his knees, holding his stomach. Naruto rolled forward and connected with the Foxshot, sending Jey rolling out of the ring. The champ then pointed at Jimmy now sitting in the corner, charged towards him, and delivered a Leaping Dropkick, dazing Jimmy.

"Let's end this."

Naruto dragged Jimmy to the middle, crossed his neck with his thumb, and lifted him up on his shoulders. He flashed a foxy grin at the cameras and executed the Rasengan. With Jimmy as the legal man, Naruto covered him.

One!

Two!

Three!

DING DING DING

Spin and Burst boomed in the arena to the sounds of cheers, but the battle wasn't over. Naruto saw Kevin attempting a Stunner, but Solo held on. The latter went for the Samoan Spike, but Kevin ducked it. Naruto gestured to Alexa and hit the ropes.

"KEVIN, MOVE IT!" Alexa shrieked at the Prizefighter.

Kevin heard her and looked to see Naruto gearing up to fly. "Oh shit!" He quickly disengaged Solo and moved, just as Naruto corkscrewed over the top rope and landed on Solo, bringing him down. Naruto sprung up, yelling to hype up the crowd, before getting blindsided by an unexpected leaping punch.

It was Roman Reigns, much to everyone's shock. He zeroed in on Naruto, grabbing him and rolling him into the ring. Kevin got over his shock and charged at Roman, who ate a devastating right hand before getting tossed over the announce table, making Kevin Patrick and Corey Graves scatter. He then slid into the ring, stalking Naruto from the corner as the latter got to his feet, clearing the cobwebs out of his head.

"Naruto, get it together! Roman's behind you!" Alexa screamed at him, hitting the mat. "ROMAN IS BEHIND YOU!"

Naruto heard her warning, along with the tell-tale signs of Roman preparing to Spear him thanks to the crowd shouting. He turned around to see Roman charging at him, and at the last second, he flipped over the Tribal Chief and landed on his feet. Roman managed to stop himself from running into the turnbuckle, looking shocked as he slowly turned towards The Fox, who returned the favor with a Superkick, stunning him. Naruto beat down Roman in the corner until Solo and the Usos stormed the ring and outnumbered Naruto, dragging him off their cousin.

Roman recovered and directed traffic, all of them stomping on Naruto. Thankfully, Heyman was still out, so he wasn't there to sing their praises. Alexa was trying to drag Kevin up, slapping him and doing whatever to help him recover.

Unknownst to all, Sami Zayn and Matt Riddle have arrived at the arena and are running as fast as they could to the ring. The Bloodline didn't realize this until Sami Zayn's Worlds Apart started playing to the cheers of the crowd. The Samoans were alarmed, with Roman ordering the Usos to intercept them. Just as the twins left the ring to brawl with the latecomers, Kevin got back into the ring and attacked Solo with a steel chair, sending him to the outside. With Sami, Kevin, and Riddle brawling with Solo and the Usos outside, Roman was left alone with Naruto.

Roman was distracted by all the fighting, allowing a furious-looking Naruto to recover. Alexa whistled and tossed Kyubi to Naruto, who caught it. When Roman turned his attention back to Naruto, the latter blasted him with a Suzuki Elbow before burying the bat into Roman's midsection, making him keel over in pain. With a yell, Naruto cracked the orange bat across his back, making him cry out and quickly retreat from the ring. Naruto laughed and exited the ring himself, going after the rest of The Bloodline fighting his allies. Solo and the Usos saw him coming and made themselves scarce when Naruto came swinging.

The Bloodline retreated up the ramp with Heyman in tow, with Naruto, Kevin, Sami, Riddle, and Alexa getting back in the ring. Alexa had the champion belts in hand and passed them to their respective owners; and tied the Universal Championship around his belt. Naruto then stood on the second rope, the WWE Champion on his shoulder and pointing Kyubi at Roman, just as Spin and Burst played.

"You are not getting those back, ever again!" Naruto yelled before wincing and holding his jaw where Roman had Superman Sucker Punched him. "Ow." He grumbled and opted to hold up his titles instead.

Naruto's group and the Bloodline continued to jaw-jack at each other until the show ended.

Raw Talk

"I'm here with the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Naruto Uzumaki. And Alexa Bliss." Byron introduced them, with Naruto holding a bag of ice on his cheek where Roman sucker-punched him. "How are you holding up?"

Naruto could only grumble.

"He'll live," Alexa spoke for him. "Seems like Roman decided to cancel his vacation and deal with you himself, eh Fishcake?"

Naruto growled at her for that nickname.

"But what do you think about the so-called Tribal Chief finally getting off his high horse and coming to work for a change? That's the Naruto effect right there." Alexa giggled.

"Roman…may have got the jump on me tonight… but that'll be the only time he pulls that stunt. I could…make his life miserable… but I'm going to be the better man and… not put him through any hoops. I want him at 100% so there'll be no dispute when I beat him." Naruto growled through his sore jaw. "Again."

"Three Stages of Hell and Naruto will win," Alexa said resolutely. "Anything else, Byron?"

"Well everyone wants to know your relationship status, so…" Byron paused for an answer.

"TBD," Naruto replied before getting hugged by Alexa.

"A kiss to make it better." She said and kissed his bruised cheek. "Better?"

"…A bit," Naruto admitted begrudgingly. "Guh."

"Naruto, Alexa, thank you for your time."

Naruto's residence in Florida…

"Kaa-san, the tour bus will be enough. I don't need a private jet." Naruto said, sitting on the edge of his pool and wearing orange trucks.

"Sochi, a tour bus won't get you everywhere. Besides, the jet we're ordering for you is fast, safe, and top-of-the-line. It won't even put a dent in our bank account." Kushina shot back. "Trust me, I'm sure your friends will love it."

"Speaking of friends, how are talks going for the…thing?" Naruto asked as Alexa floated near him on a floatie, wearing a two-piece swimsuit and sunglasses.

"We're finalizing the deal. We had to twist Vince's arm to get it done, and the Board of Directors outvoted him when they saw the potential. Hell, even Endeavor's on board. Everyone's about to get a big fat check from this deal. You can believe that." Kushina said with confidence. "The only thing you need to do is to win against Roman Reigns. Our families are currently tied in major wins so far."

"Not for long. I'll make you and the family proud, kaa-chan." Naruto assured her with a smile.

"I know you won't fail. One last thing…put Alexa on." Kushina requested, with Naruto now starting to sweat. "I know she's there with you."

"Right. Alexa, you have a call."

Naruto grimaced as Alexa floated over and took the phone with a smile. That smile started to fade as the conversation went on, with Alexa now sweating and looking scared, meaning that Kushina was voicing her displeasure. Whatever Kushina was telling her had the girl acting humble and speaking back in broken Japanese.

"Now that we're on the same page Alexa-san, heed my warning. If my son gets hurt again because of you, I'm going to fly over there and deal with you personally. Vince humiliating Trish will be considered tame compared to what I do to you. Am. I. Clear?"

"Clear! Crystal! Transparently!" Alexa squeaked, not wanting to think what could be worse than that controversial "bark like a dog" incident.

"Good girl. Once again, be good to my son…like the other girls are," Kushina said sweetly before hanging up.

"Kushina-san…has a way with words as usual…" Alexa mumbled. "What could be worse than Trish barking like a dog?"

Naruto flinched at that. "...You really don't want to know," he replied, now knowing what his mother was going to do to Alexa if she strays. "It won't be pretty…"

There was one girl that wasn't the same after she decided to cheat on Naruto many years ago because the other guy had lots of money.

"So uh, when are the other girls coming along?" Alexa inquired.

"After Backlash. I don't want the Bloodline to target them with the remaining influence they have. Once they're dealt with, they'll be around a lot more." Naruto replied.

"...Can I at least get a hint-"

"No."

"Awwwww… But do blondes have more fun?"

"...Yes."

"If one of them is who I think it is, then I think it's time for me to reign again as WWE Women's Tag Team Champion." Alexa mused with a lick of her lips.

WWE Smackdown was live at the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska, and the show was starting off with a bang. Spin and Burst played to the roar of the crowd, with Naruto coming out with Alexa not too far behind. As they walked down the stage, Fight played and Kevin Owens came out, followed by World's Apart with Sami Zayn.

After posing for the crowd, all four were in the ring. Naruto was sitting on top of one of the corners with Alexa sitting on the second rope next to him, while Sami and Kevin were standing together in the center of the ring.

"All of you are loud tonight here in Nebraska, huh? I love that energy." Naruto asked to the cheers of the crowd. "You all have a great night of action tonight, so let's get down to business." he paused, looking around the crowd before continuing. "WrestleMania Goes Hollywood, the WrestleMania whose proper subtitle should be WrestleMania: The Fall of the Bloodline. Makes for a great popcorn flick, can't lie.

"Night one, for the first time in WrestleMania history, a Tag Team Championship match main-evented WrestleMania. And these two men right here, best friends from day one no matter what, ended the night as your new Undisputed Unified WWE Tag Team Champions!

"Night two, for the second time in WrestleMania history, shout out to Seth 'Freakin' Rollins; Money in the Bank was successfully cashed in on the top champion in the main event, and WrestleMania ended with yours truly as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, ending a historical 950 day reign that will go down in the history books. The Bloodline went in as champions, and they left with nothing!"

The crowd cheered their new champions in the ring.

"KO-Zaynia!"

"Na-ru-to!"

"Na-ru-to!"

The chants then died down as Sami began to speak. "And for as amazing as that, we all never had time to process it, we never had time to think about it. We never had time to think much about anything lately because of everything that's happening. All this stuff that's going on with the Bloodline." He paused as the crowd booed the mention of the Bloodline. "All the stuff with the upcoming Draft. Look, a lot's going on, and it's an exciting time, but it's also a time of uncertainty, right?"

Kevin nodded and took over. "Yeah, you're right. It's exciting any time there's a Draft, the unpredictability makes for a certain atmosphere, everyone loves it, but here's the thing that is for sure- there are two things that I know for a fact; I know for a fact that regardless of where we end up with this Draft, we are the Undisputed Tag Team champions of the WWE, and we," the crowd cheered, "As hard as we worked to win these titles, you can rest, assured that we will defend them with everything we have whether it's on Raw or SmackDown every single time!" he declared to the excitement of the crowd. "And speaking of defending these titles, the other thing I know for sure is that sooner rather than later, just as Roman got his rematch with our boy Naruto here, The Usos are coming for a rematch." He said to a chorus of boos and Sami grimaced at that, knowing he was right. "And Sami, I told you-"

USOS~

"Oh, speak of the Devil, and Romans' bitches shall appear." Naruto quipped as Jimmy and Jey with Solo came out to Done With That (Day One Remix), jaw-jacking at them.

Kevin nudged Sami. "Told you."

"Hey Uce, are you hearin' what I'm hearin'?"

"I hear 'em. These three actin' like they foldin' under pressure like the pressure is gettin' to 'em!"

Naruto rolled his eyes and laughed, shaking his head while Alexa gazed at the brothers, looking unimpressed.

"Hey, you three have been champs for like two weeks? Me and Uce have been champs for two years!"

"That six hundred and twenty-somethin' days! What do you know about pressure?!"

"Oy oy oy, Right Hand Dumbass!" Naruto called out to Jey, pausing for the cheers of him shutting Jey up for a moment. "What do we know about pressure? Everyone in this ring has held singles gold here in the WWE and around the world! Even in Ring of Honor, sans Alexa! No offense. But pressure forged all of us to be here! Believe it, we aren't sweating you one bit, and from where I'm sitting, we don't need to project like you're doing."

"What he said. After all, you guys are the ones who have to report back every single week empty-handed to your daddy Roman Reigns." Sami added, much to the amusement of the crowd.

The Usos on the other hand laughed it off, but inside they were streaming at the pointed comments, with Solo not showing any emotion as usual.

"Oh Sami, shut up!" Jimmy snapped back. "You've been saying the same thing for months now! "The Bloodline's got cracks in it~ The Bloodline's gonna fall~ Go back to your daddy~ Go back to your daddy~ Go back to your daddy~ Did you not hear what Mr. Yellow-Shoes just said?" he taunted, drawing attention to Kevin who was indeed wearing very bright yellow shoes. "The Bloodline's more dangerous than ever! And here's what you're sleepin' on Uce… The Bloodline's more stronger than ever!"

"The Usos leveled up!" Jey added.

"The cope is real," Naruto whispered to Alexa, who giggled.

"The Enforcer?" Jimmy said and 'whooped'. "Whew, you don't want this savage to come out of Solo Sikoa, so listen to us when we say this Uce, and open up those big ears real big when I tell you; The Usos will be nine-time WWE Tag Team Champions!" Jimmy declared as the crowd booed. "Again!"

Naruto looked bored, Sami looked unamused, Kevin looked unimpressed, and Alexa yawned.

"No cracks in The Bloodline! We solid over here!" Jey agreed over the chorus of boos. "Just like when we take back them Tag Team Championships, y'all gonna fold under pressure-"

"Are you done? I'm getting bored with all the cope." Naruto drawled as he slid off the top turnbuckle to stand side-by-side with Sami and Kevin. "Seriously, is there a point to this, guys? You're not convincing anybody. There is no pressure. When you lose to Sami and Kevin in your rematch, you are the ones who will finally see what a bane to your existence your cousin is, how you two don't even need him, and you never have!" he shouted to the cheers of the crowd. Jimmy scoff, but Jey looked conflicted. "And Roman? When I'm done with him, his 2-year reign will be nothing but a memory, and you two will finally get back to what you should have done two years ago instead of being blinded by gold!"

"...Hah, ha ha, you funny Naruto. You almost got me there! I don't want to hear it from the guy that had to use the Money in the Bank to sneak up on Roman and steal those belts away from him!" Jey shot back.

As the crowd booed at that, Naruto could only groan. "Oh, so this is how it feels to be Asuka-chan after she won Money in the Bank that was actually the Raw Women's Champion."

"Oh don't let the little puppy get you down," Alexa said, causing cheers from the crowd. "He's just being a sourpuss now that he and his brother have to face reality."

"Reality? I'll tell you what reality's gonna be for all of you!" Jey shot back with a laugh. "Roman beats Naruto, he wakes up from his dream, and you'll be going back to Bray, Uncle Howdy, or whatever playhouse The Fiend gave you." Alexa narrowed her eyes at him for that comment, as Kevin glanced nervously at her. "And Sami and KO? Y'all gonna turn on each other again. KO, I was wrong about you. It's NOT gonna be you turning on him. It's gonna be Sami Zayn backstabbing his brother just like he backstab my whole damn family! That's you!"

"Facts!" Jimmy agreed.

"Ugghhhhhhh!" Naruto groaned; the urge to cave each Usos' face increasing.

Sami Zayn shook his head "Ya know, I wish I was as good at anything as Jey Uso is at lying to himself. You wanna act like everything's cool, like Roman Reigns is just fine with you guys losing the championship as he did? Fine. You wanna act like there're no cracks in The Bloodline? Fine. You wanna act like Solo wasn't really to drop you last week? Fine. You wanna keep ignoring everything Naruto and I are saying even though you know it's true? That's fine. I can already tell it doesn't matter what I say cuz, I don't think you guys came out here just to talk did ya?

"Naw, naw, naw, naw, you know what? We didn't!" Jey said.

"I wish you started with that!" Naruto snapped as he and everyone dropped their microphones and belts, with Alexa bailing from the ring.

Despite the numbers being even, the Usos and Solo surrounded the ring and jumped onto the apron, staring down the champions; Naruto and Solo glared at each other, with the Usos targeting Sami and Kevin. The crowd suddenly cheered, with Riddle suddenly running down the ramp and dragging Solo down, distracting the Usos long enough for Sami and Kevin to get the jump on them. As all of them brawled at ringside, Naruto slid out of the ring and went after the twins, delivering running European Uppercuts to allow Sami and Kevin to get the upper hand on them.

He saw Riddle and Solo back in the ring, with Solo about to deliver the Samoan Spike, but Riddle evaded it. Naruto slid back into the ring as Riddle struck Solo with a couple of Flash Knees, with Naruto bringing the Enforcer down with a Foxstrike to the side of his head, just as Sami and Kevin got back into the ring. Just as Riddle went to the top, Naruto hit the ropes and propelled himself off the top rope for a Top Rope Swanton that bought the Usos down, landing on his feet and pumping his arm out in triumph; with Alexa cheering. Meanwhile, Riddle managed to connect with the Floating Bro on Solo, knocking the wind out of the Enforcer who rolled out of the ring.

The Bloodline crawled towards the ramp as the champions, Riddle, and Alexa celebrated in the ring, fist-bumping each other and the champs "toasting" with their titles. The champs raised their titles in the air toward The Bloodline, who were not looking forward to reporting what happened to the Tribal Chief.

"It's official, gentlemen," Naruto said as he hosted Sami, Kevin, and Riddle in his locker room. All of them were standing, as Alexa was on the couch watching. "Matt Riddle vs. Solo Sikoa in the main event of Smackdown tonight. I'll be down there in your corner for your match to take sure The Bloodline…behaves."

"Thank you, Bro." Riddle said, fist-bumping Naruto.

"They won't. You know they won't." Kevin countered dryly.

"I know, and I'm counting on it. They say that Roman Reigns isn't here tonight, but I don't believe that for a second. He's shown he's willing to come to work every day just to get back at me up until Backlash. Hence why I'm purposing an alliance between all of us until that time. We all have beef with The Bloodline, so we might as well." Naruto replied.

"Sounds good to me, let's do it!" Sami agreed. "As you know I was part of The Bloodline for a time, and I was a part of it when they took out Matt the first time," Sami grimaced at the thought of his greatest mistake of being part of the group "I know sorry will never be enough, and I feel horrible about it. Just like last week, it's my fault that Kevin got hurt. We have your back, so be careful out there-"

"Careful? Be careful? What are you telling him?" Kevin interjected incredulously. "The Bloodline took you out for like what, three months? Don't you want revenge? Screw being careful, you gotta go out there and hit Solo with everything you have. You gotta take him out!" he exclaimed, pushing Riddle. "Like he did to you, c'mon!"

"He's right. I've teamed with Solo back in NXT, and he become even more dangerous from when I knew him. You can't be careful with a group like The Bloodline. We took their titles at WrestleMania, now they have nothing to lose, and are capable of anything and everything." Naruto added, shifting his title belt on his shoulder. "So I suggest putting that MMA background to good use and giving Solo the what-four."

"All of you have really good advice. Well, one thing I learned while I was gone was that I can only keep my side of the street clean. I can't control if The Bloodline wants to bust my head open with a chair, or if Sami Zayn can't control his Uceyiness." he drawled, with everyone staring at him. "But one thing I can control is how prepared I am for tonight. And one other thing I can control is how much pain I can inflict on Solo for the 118 days I was gone, bro!" he finished with sudden anger as he pushed a now impressed Kevin.

"Well, this it's settled." Alexa quipped through her lollipop.

"...So are we gonna talk about-" Riddle started to say, gesturing to Alexa.

Naruto shook his head. "Absolutely not."

In The Bloodline's locker room, Solo was preparing for his singles match with Matt Riddle while Heyman and his brothers hyped him up, much to his chagrin as they were being loud…too loud.

"I just got off the phone with our Tribal Chief, the Head of the Table, the Undisputed Champion, Roman Reigns. Riddle and Uzumaki didn't just embarrass you. When someone embarrasses you, that person embarrasses your entire family!"

"Everybody!"

"Your lineage!"

"Everybody!"

"And when someone embarrasses you, they embarrass The Usos!"

"Sure did!"

"When someone embarrasses you, they embarrass Afa!"

"Hell naw!"

"When they embarrass you, they embarrass Sika!"

"Get 'em!"

"Stop!"

"They disgrace the memory of Yokozuna!"

"Smash 'em!"

"I see Umaga turning over in his grave right now!"

"No!"

"I cannot imagine what's going through the mind of Rikishi at this moment!"

"No, you didn't!"

"They embarrassed the Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns!"

"Come on!"

Before Heyman could drone on however, Solo put a hand on Heyman's shoulder to catch his attention, staring down the latter how calming down and muttering apologies.

"Tell the Tribal Chief," he started to say and finished taping up his thumb and fist. "I got this."

"Okay, okay," Heyman said, pulling out his phone and stepping off to the side.

The Usos grimaced as Solo continued to stare Heyman down.

It was main event time, and Riddle made his way out to his Hey Bro theme with Naruto, Alexa, Sami, and Kevin by his side. Soon after, Taking It All played, with Solo stomping out, franked by Heyman and The Usos. And now, the two groups stood face-to-face in the ring, and Heyman had the microphone.

"Ladies and gentlemen, my time is Paul Heyman, and I have a historic announcement to make!" Heyman declared to the chorus of boos. "I just got off the phone with your Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns, who has authorized me to let you know that we- well, we muscled our way through management, and finally it's set, two weeks from tonight; live from Corpus Christi, the biggest tag team match in the history of SmachDown, when the WrestleMania Night One main event gets rematched live!" he revealed, with Sami and Kevin looking at each other. "Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn defending and losing the Undisputed Tag Team Championships to The Usos!"

The crowd booed at that as The Usos rubbed their hands in glee before raising their fingers up, with the champions showing no signs of objecting. Naruto merely pinched the bridge of his nose while Alexa blew a bubble, but Naruto frowned when he noticed Heyman backing away slightly out of view from The Usos.

"And by the way, here's a guarantee for you. You will lose those Tag Team championships, because the Tribal Chief is losing patience," he said before looking at the Usos' back. "With the two of you."

Naruto could only shake his head at what a weasel Heyman was being and gazed at The Usos with pity.

"And Naruto, kid, the Tribal Chief invites you to have a front-row seat to the championship match because what will happen to Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, will happen to you at Backlash." Heyman finished and tossed the microphone away.

Which was caught by Alexa.

"It's really amusing to see how you and the rest of The Bloodline continue to think that you all are still in control," Alexa said smoothly, walking close to the brothers and sizing them up. "Here's a spoiler for you all: None of you will wins, The Bloodline dies, and my sweetheart Naruto here reigns as WWE Universal Champion for more than 1000 days," she said as she stood standing side-by-side with Naruto, who was grinning. "And he will be a better champion than Roman will ever be. Believe that!" she said to the cheers of the crowd.

"Thank you for that, I guess." Naruto mused as he and Alexa got out of the ring with Sami and Kevin and headed to the back.

"I meant every word I said. Besides, Heyman is starting to piss me off."

"Heh, you and me both."

…

Despite the referee directing Naruto, Alexa, Sami, Kevin, The Usos, and Heyman to the back, The Usos came back out anyway through the crowd when Riddle was starting to get the upper hand on Solo, prompting Sami and Kevin to come back out. While the two groups began to brawl, everyone noticed that Naruto was missing an action.

Cameras suddenly flashed to the back, revealing Naruto and Roman Reigns brawling after the latter blinded-sided him. Alexa ran to get Naruto's security as Roman had the upper hand, throwing Naruto into walls and equipment until Naruto found an opening and blinded him with a fire extinguisher. After getting his bearings, Naruto returned the favor by throwing Roman into various walls and equipment. Both of them brawled with fast punches until Naruto's security and WWE security and personnel swarmed the scene and separated the two.

"Let me go! I'm kicking his ass! Come on, let's go!" Naruto yelled, struggling to get at Roman.

"They're protecting you from me. They're protecting you from me!" Roman shouted, the man having more bodies holding him back.

"I don't need protection to kick your ass, Roman! Lemme at him!" Naruto shouted, his arms restrained and his legs kicking about.

"C'mon, mate! Save it for Backlash!" Tangerine scolded his charge as he and the blonde's personal security force dragged him away.

Heyman, who was with Roman, spotted the Undisputed WWE Universal Titles on the floor and moved to grab them, but Alexa quickly snatched them up, glaring daggers at him.

"Okay, time to go, missy," Himeno said, hooking both Alexa's arms and dragging her away.

Sadly, as Naruto and Roman were brawling and getting pulled apart, Riddle was absolutely destroyed by Solo to end the show.

The Smackdown Lowdown

Naruto and Alexa, flanked by the former's security team, were on their way out of the building when McKenzie Mitchell caught up with them.

"I'm here trying to get a word in with our Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Naruto Uzumaki," she said as she tried to match the stride since the group was not stopping.

"Is this really the time?" Alexa groaned in annoyance.

"It's fine," Naruto said, despite not being in the mood. "Fire away."

"Well, I just wanted to get your reaction to what happened out there tonight," McKenzie said.

"Well, Roman come into work again. That's a plus. Blindsiding me again? That's getting old." Naruto said as the group go to the Humvee. "It was my mistake not having Kyubi with me, but I won't make that mistake again."

"May I ask what will you do now?" McKenzie asked as Naruto pull his and Alexa's luggage into the car.

"Simple. Fight back and make The Bloodline's lives miserable for the next few weeks." Naruto said and slammed the truck shut as everyone got inside.

"Thank you for your time," McKenzie said as Naruto got in and slammed the door shut, before rolling down the window.

"Someone tells me that this whole thing with me and The Bloodline is gonna be cinema for the next few months." Naruto grinned as the Humvee drove off.

In the hotel room, Naruto tossed his luggage to the side and flopped facefirst onto the bed. He felt Alexa join him on his bed and lay on his back, raining kisses on the back of his neck.

"…Can you turn Lily to the side? It feels like I'm being watched." Naruto mumbled through his pillow, seeing the creepy Lilly doll on the table.

"No." Alexa simply said, pressing her assets against his back.

"If you're trying to get me in the mood, it's failing," Naruto mumbled, feeling Alexa's fingers intertwining her fingers with his.

"It's alright. You need all the energy you can to take on Roman. Only afterward, we can have some fun."

"Glad to hear you be so considerate. But you pressing up against me makes me want to take a cold shower right now."

"So you do have feelings for me!"

"Shut up, Lexi-chan…"

Naruto gives the newly revamped Latino World Order a helping hand, and Alexa gives Rhea more than she can handle.

I am two months behind but I'm not stopping! This is fun! Also, it should be easier as I'm not booking Naruto for matches up until Backlash.

Naruto's security team are Lemon and Tangerine from the Bullet Train movie, John and Ben from Kamen Rider Geat, Yoko Minato from Kamen Rider Gaim, and Himeno from Chainsaw Man. They will only accompany Naruto up until Backlash and will not be in the whole story.

Yes, the Hyuuga girls, Hinata, Hibana (Road in Ninja Hinata), and Hanabi are part of Naruto's housekeeping staff. They'll have a minor presence in the story and is only there to show who's taking care of Naruto's home.

Well, just as I finished the first scene of this chapter, I learned that Alexa Bliss has a bun in the oven in RL. It will feel awkward now, but this is purely fanfic, so I'm trucking on. Congrats to Alexa!

I'm reading recaps and Simon Miller's Ups and Downs to help me along. I'm behind on his videos anyway.

This should not have taken me a month to do, but I had LOTS of overtime at work and real life got me busy.

The story is currently planned up to Backlash. Once I reach that, then I'll start planning up to Night of Champions since that's next.
