Epilogue

*Sometime later in a secret hideout*

"Punisher, do you have any threes?" Captain America asks politely with his cards in his hands.

"Go fish! So nice for you to join us for one Spidey." Punisher states as the attention now turns to Spider-man, who is alongside Daredevil playing a game of Gofish with Punisher and Captain American. After stopping Mysterio's evil plan and making his relationship with Jessica official, Peter decides to take a mini break from the superhero gig with Jessica assuring the city will be in safe hands while he recovers. In the meantime, Spidey is struggling to win a simple game of goldfish with his peers.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I was out saying the world! Reading your cards out should be easy." Spider-man confidently states while nervously glancing at his cards.

"Your spider-sense won't save you through here," Daredevil argues, causing Frank to interject.

"Looks who talking Daredevil; you've been looking at my cards all night!" He accuses the man with no fear of using his senses to see what cards he has in his hand.

"I don't need to look at your cards Punisher. Your bluffs are so obvious." Daredevil claims with a smirk. Thanks to his ability to listen to one heartbeat to tell if they are lying, which has been helping him in this case.

"Okay okay, let's keep this a friendly, clean game." Captain America suggests, not wanting the group to fight over a simple card game.

Punisher groans at the boy scout act asking, "Damn, who keeps inviting this guy?"

"Can you guys keep it down!?" They all shift their focus to see Human Torch and Black Cat dancing as he yells out happily, "Hey loosen up kids; I'm on fire!"

Spider-man can't help but feel happy seeing that his best friend and former lover are finally taking their relationship more seriously than he and Spider-woman are together. Speaking of Spider-woman, while she told him that she needed to take care of business, which is technically accurate in her case, Spider-woman went back to meet the Avengers to report about her time with the Wall-Crawler and Mysterio's evil scheme that took place around that time.

Unknown to Spider-man, Captain America is already aware of what she is up to, thus the reason for him spending time with Spider-man personally. The Captain is impressed by how he manages to defeat Mysterio and his other partners in crime while proving his innocence under pressure. Once their game session ends, the heroes start to get ready to leave, with Captain America pulling Spidey to the side to inquire about another thing from him.

"So, you and Jessica?" Captain America asks, causing Spider-man to react nervously.

"Me and Jessica? Oh, you mean like we are an item now? Yeah, crazy huh? We both have spiders in our name, so in one way, it makes sense, but considering the circumstance, yeah I um, I'm rambling now am I? Let me stop." Spider-man quickly shut his mouth, earning a soft laugh from the Captain.

"It's okay son. I, too was shocked when I realized that you two ended up together after the not-so-positive comments she made towards you in the past." He states that Jessica was anti-Spider-man and couldn't understand why at the time and still doesn't.

Spider-man sighs as he recalls the treatment he receives whenever he interacts with her in costume. "She told me about that. Honestly, at first, I said to her that it hurt hearing she had low thoughts of me and not being honest about meeting me in the first place. Despite those parts, I think back to the moments I had with Jessica outside the mask, and for the first time in a while, I felt special when I was around her by how she treated me. Then she tried to make up for what she did by coming to help me, and that's how I knew that my feelings for her were deep and that I could forgive her and move forward."

Captain America studies Spidey's response and feels more proud of knowing there's a hero like Spider-man who, despite the hardship, finds a way to push through and overcome his obstacles. In this case, he was able to prove why he's worthy not just in Jessica's mind but, most importantly, in her heart. "Well, that's reassuring to hear since I was preparing an interrogation on you concerning your intentions with her, but with that reasonable response looks like I don't have to do that."

Spider-man takes a step back, not liking the idea of being questioned by the Captain himself. "You know it's scary to think if you are joking."

With a smirk, Captain America places a hand on the web swinger's shoulder and states, "If it helps ease your mind, rest assured that you have nothing to worry about for now. I will be seeing you soon, Spider-man."

Spider-man gives out a sigh of relief, knowing he's on good terms with the cap. He then turns around and sees Johnny and Black Cat approaching him. "Spidey, my man, we about the dip out of here. You need a lift?"

"Nah, I'm more than capable of returning home by web swinging, my favorite pastime, instead of being burnt to death." Spidey quips with a shoulder shrug.

Johnny folds his arms, pretending to be offended by his answer. "Good because I wasn't offering anyways."

The three friends laugh before Johnny says, "In all seriousness, this was a cool outing with the other heroes, and we need to do this more often."

"I agree with that." Black Cat agrees, considering she hasn't had much experience being around other heroes besides Spider-man and her boyfriend, Human Torch.

"Well, since my main baddies are now locked up, maybe I will have some room in my schedule to make some fantastic meetups happen." Spidey gives his two cents and feels it would be nice to have more of a social life, especially now with his new relationship with Jessica.

Johnny points at Spidey excitedly, stating, "I understood that fantastic reference. Thankfully you don't have to deal with another imposter anytime soon, so let's try to link up soon."

"Sounds like a game plan to me." Spidey and Johnny hug each other and separate to allow Black Cat to say goodbye.

"Let Jessica know I ask about her, and I'm looking forward to double dates soon. I'm happy for you Spider." She says while hugging him, with Spider-man returning the hug.

"I appreciate it a lot Cat, and of course, I'm happy for you as well." He says genuinely to make sure she knows the feelings are mutual.

"Thank you, and who knows, maybe if you play your cards right, those double dates can lead into steamily fun nights." She winks at Spider-man, causing his mouth to want to fall to the ground with nothing coming out other than a gasp.

Black Cat laughs at his reactions and rushes off to catch up with Johnny, yelling, "Catch you later, Spider!" Spider-man watches her leave, still speechless about her comment on double activities, but eventually makes his way home, hoping the cool wind can calm his body.

*Later in the evening*

"Spider honey I'm home," Peter announces as he enters his room through his window, removing his mask. He assumes Jessica would be waiting on him since she did mention wanting to meet back with him after they finish doing what they had planned.

Sure enough, Jessica rushes off the bed and hugs him excitedly saying, "Babe I missed you; I'm sorry I couldn't make it to the hangout because my meeting went a little longer than expected."

Peter can't help but blush while wrapping his arms around Jessica's waist, loving the feeling of having her in his arms. "I missed you too, and it's fine. Everyone asked about you. Well, Punisher didn't, but you know how he is with the whole anti-social thing, and Captain surprisingly gave me somewhat of the Talk."

Jessica leans back with her arms still around his neck, showing concern. "The talk?"

"Yeah, the whole what are your intentions with my daughter type talk," Peter explains in a light-hearted tone.

Jessica groans at the idea of Steve acting like a dad in that situation. She knew he wanted to size Peter himself but didn't expect to question their new relationship so soon. "Of course, he would do something like that, considering his old-school ways. Thankfully his interrogation didn't happen and scare you off."

Peter playfully responds to the idea of Captain America scaring him, even though he did a little bit. "Me? Scared of the Captain? Psst No way; I think he and I bonded well, so there is nothing to worry about. Also, Human Torch and Black Cat request that we do doubles dates in the future, with Cat mentioning doing some cough steamily activities." He blushes again, hoping Jessica doesn't press him on what Black Cat's idea of fun means.

"Did she now? Interesting, I might need to inquire what she has in mind regarding that." Jessica smirks at what she can guess based on her boyfriend's reaction it might have something to do with bedroom activities. While she's not the type to share what's hers, Jessica believes the two can come together to do something special for their partners.

"I can only imagine knowing how she is and you to some degree," Peter mutters nervously.

Jessica giggles stating, "Your cute when you get all nerdy shy on me."

Peter backs away and tries to switch subjects to keep from burning up from the current conversation. "Anyways, how did your meeting go?"

"Nice try, but you not getting away with changing the topic that easily, Mr. Parker, but the meeting went exceptionally great. I feel we need to celebrate our victory and my big news, and I already have plans on how we will do so." Jessica expresses, causing Peter to grow now curious about his girlfriend's plans for him.

"What do you have in mind, my English muffin?" Peter asks, raising his eyebrow.

Jessica shrugs, knowing she is not going to give away the answer. "Now, why would I spoil the surprise? You will love it."

Peter pouts but is understanding about waiting to receive his surprise. "Aww, that's only going to make me more excited and curious about what you planned for me, but I trust you babe."

"Hopefully so," Jessica responds slightly sadly, taking a few steps away from him. Hearing Peter say he trusts her isn't what changes her mood; the memory of lying to him and his reaction once Venom reveals the truth to him bothers her. Has Peter truly forgiven her? Maybe he still has resentment but not wanting to act on it. With those thoughts clouding her mind, Jessica still wants to make up for not being honest, so she hopes this idea will make it up to him since becoming his girlfriend was more of a want for her, not a makeup thing.

Luckily for Jessica, Peter seems to know why Jess's mood now changes to a low one from her response. In a short time, Peter has forgiven her for not being straight with her now that they had an adult conversation about it. However, he can't imagine how guilty she must still feel, so as a good boyfriend, it is his job to make her feel secure about his decision. Peter brings her back close with a smirk, and before she can react, he kisses her lips softly. "Does that help convince you?" Peter smoothly asks afterward.

"It's a start, but I will need more of those to help your case," Jessica says, biting her lips, signaling wanting more.

"Ask, and you shall receive my English muffin." Peter and Jessica's lips connect once more, with Peter feeling more comfortable, for it has been a while since he's been intimate with someone, a little too comfortable. For some reason, Peter is a lot more turn-on than he expects at the beginning of the makeout session, and it doesn't help Jessica's moaning and the fact that she smells extra good.

"Um honey, please don't take this the wrong way, but why do I suddenly have the urge to pin you to the bed aggressively? Peter questions feeling more of whatever is causing his mood to shift.

Jessica slightly blushes as she completely forgot to warn Peter about moments like this when it happens. "I'm so sorry I forgot to tell you that one of my special abilities is that I can cause pheromone to make one desire or fear me. I wouldn't say I like to use it often, but at times like this is hard to control. Right now, you are causing it to make me irresistible in your eyes, so if you want me to, I can try to turn it..."

Jessica has no time to finish her suggestion, for Peter hoists her out of nowhere and tosses her onto the bed with him on top of her. "Peter!" She squeals with shock and excitement over the aggressive behavior of her boyfriend.

In a commanding tone, Peter hovers over Jessica and states, "I rather have no control now if you have a problem with that?"

The almost predator-like look on Peter's face is enough to make Jessica feel like the submissive partner in the relationship, for the only two words she can get out is, "Take me." before Peter begins to ravish her like two spiders mating.

*The next day at a secret location*

"Are we there yet?" Spidey questions as he walks forward, with Spider-Woman guiding him, not knowing where he's heading.

Spider-Woman rolls her eyes in amusement. "I swear you're like a child asking that question multiple times. However, you have just a few more steps."

"I can't help it when I have no idea where I'm going in costume, and I'm blindfolded." Spider-man points out, reminding her that he was instructed to put a blindfold on his eye lens to keep him from seeing the surprise.

"Well, if your spider-sense hasn't gone off, then you have nothing to worry about, honey," Spider-woman argues proudly.

After giving it a quick thought, Spider-man quickly realizes he can't come up with a comeback for her comment. "When you put it like that, how can I win that debate? You sure you didn't think about being Dare-woman?"

"It's straightforward; you can't, and with all respect to Daredevil, bloody hell no. Besides, spider has a nice ring for us, wouldn't you say?" Spider-man mentally thinks of the idea of her being in a more devil-like costume and cannot see it at all. Especially not with the blind hero for nothing against him; she's locked into being Spider-woman and only has eyes on one man. Plus, it makes so much sense that the two are spider heroes; the fanbase will go wild once they realize they are pairing up.

Spider-man smiles underneath the mask, knowing he doesn't have anything to worry about as far as someone else wanting Jessica, though he can't blame guys because she is hot and beautiful inside. "Alright, take your blindfold in three, two, and one now!" Spider-woman commands snapping him out of his thoughts.

Hearing the end of the countdown, Spider-man gladly takes his cover off, only to catch two figures he isn't expecting to see standing before him. "Good to see you again, Spider-man, and I'm sure you know my friend here." One of them greets the almost speechless Web-Swinger.

"Captain America and Iron Man!?" Spider-man manages to blurt out, pointing at the two famous heroes causing Spider-Woman to giggle at his priceless reaction.

"Please, why so formal? You can call me Tony since practically everyone knows who I am." Tony Stark, aka Iron-man, extends his hand out for a handshake which Spider-man accepts as his brain tries to process this moment.

"I"m honestly am confused with what's going on." He looks at the three heroes, not understanding the surprise unless it's to meet Iron-man since he already has met Captain America and is a fan of the Genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist hero.

Tony chuckles in response. "We figure as much. We want to discuss something you might be interested in."

*Cuts to press announcement*

"That is why we are proud to present the newest member of the Avengers, The Amazing Spider-man!" Iron Man proudly announcement to the crowd as they go wild for Spider-man while Jameson is blowing a gasket about how that menace is now part of the famous superhero team.

Jessica's surprise for Peter is to make Spider-man an official member of the Avengers, which he quickly accepts once the offer is presented as long as he can look out for his city occasionally. Jessica felt it was only fitting since the Avengers wanted him and that he would help Peter feel better, and that his blood and dedication as a hero hadn't gone unnoticed, and it finally paid off. It was also fun that some of the photographers now have pictures of the two holding hands confirming that they are exclusive, which she has no shame in hiding.

After the press conference, Peter pulls his girlfriend aside somewhere on the rooftop and sincerely thanks her for making that special moment happen. "Jessica, I don't know how much I can say or do to express how grateful I am for you helping me receive this opportunity."

"Honestly, babe, it was already yours to begin. I was too blind to realize that initially, and I had to make it up to you for what I put you through." Jessica admits feeling her heart flutter at Peter's genuine appreciation for what she did for him.

"That was in the past before you made this happen, so there is no need to beat yourself up over it anymore. You being mine and helping make me an Avenger way makes up for your debt." Peter smirks, reminding her about her mission to make up for lying to him.

"As well as our special night?" Jessica smirks back, upping him.

Peter blushes at the special night she was referring to and how it went down. "That as well. Can't say I'm not already looking forward to the next time I get my hands on you."

"Oh, the feeling is mutual, believe that. Why don't you and I celebrate this moment in your new quarters?" She rubs her face on the side of his face.

Peter flinches slightly over the idea of doing the deed in her new room at the Avengers Tower. "Are you sure that's a good idea? The last thing I need is to get kicked out of the team because I was being indecent on my first day."

"Don't worry; they had something to do mission-wise today, so that gives up plenty of time." She starts kissing his neck to add more to her conviction, bringing out a scent that drives him crazy.

"Darn, you and your pheromone." Peter moans before shifting, picking her up bridal style, and begins to web swing to their destination with Jessica yelling with excitement as a new chapter for the spider-couple begins.

Fin

Author note: Finally, I finished this installment of my untold love story series. Sorry, the wait took forever; I hadn't felt like writing and didn't know how to end this story. I was going to do a lemon scene, but since I started this as a rated T fic, I would instead stick with that and then do it. Spider-man joining the Avengers at the end was a full circle moment that I feel paid off for how he and Jessica met in the first place. I'm surprised this went longer than my first love story Silver Sable, and it got more support, so I want to thank you all for favs, follows, and reviews.

I'm unsure about the next installment of the series since I do have She-Hulk in mind that could change or come later. You all can let me know your guy's thoughts on that. Until next time, thank you all again.
