A/N: Please read!

Today (Dec. 10, 2014) is the one year anniversary of this fan-fic!

This is a very short, side story about Kurumu, since she hasn't been around since the incident between Tsukune and Kiriia. I had this idea one night so I just had to get it out of my head. Stupid plot bunnies!

A big thank you to Phoenix Helix from fan-fic, for help with some of the plot involving Kurumu and how succubae are supposed to act when they find their destined one. He also helped smooth out some of the plot, as well.

Thanks once again, mate!

Beta read by ColressLawliet, Train48, and PropertyOfLamb from deviant art. Thanks!

Anyway, I usually don't do these type of chapters that don't involve the main pairing of Tsukune and Moka, so I hope that you enjoy this Omake (bonus) chapter!

Feedback is always welcomed and encouraged.

...

Saturday morning, May 2, 2015. Fairy Tail Headquarters Building, Yokohama, Japan.

Kurumu laid in bed with a young man, who could for the lack of a better term, be Tsukune's twin, who just so happened to have dark brown eyes and matching hair. The only difference besides his taller height, was that he wore a pair of wire-rimmed, prescription, eyeglasses. They were neatly folded and rested on the wooden nightstand which was next to the queen-sized bed.

He went by the given name of Takashi Ando.

The succubus' suite was rather opulent and paid for by her boss, Kiriia Yoshi, the current head of Fairy Tale. It was over 500 square meters with a modern kitchen, since Kurumu enjoyed cooking so much. Stainless steel appliances and all the conveniences made cooking for her rather enjoyable.

The living room had the finest of red, leather furniture along with a *203 centimeter, 4K, LED television set which hung on the wall across from the large sofa. (*80 inches)

Since Kurumu had moved to Yokohama, she did her best to forget about Tsukune and attempt to move on, which was in no way, easy for her. She had gone out nearly every weekend and hit up every bar, night club, and restaurant in the downtown entertainment, district as she searched for her 'destined one'. Of course she always wore the finest of sexy clothing, perfume, makeup, and expensive jewelry. Most nights she had met a different man and brought them back to her luxury, penthouse, suite.

More often than not, they never stayed long as she felt rather uncomfortable and asked them to kindly leave before morning.

Even if she had gotten "intimate' with any one of them, the succubus never once used her "Charm" ability, nor kissed any of them on the lips, either.

She wanted them to like her for herself and not because she had used her youkai abilities on them. Sure, she would feed off the sexual energy, but she always held herself back and made sure that she did not drain them too much. Besides, if she happened to enjoy the company of a certain someone, she would most definitely want to see them again, right?

As the morning sun trickled in through the sheer window curtains, Takashi turned to his left-hand side and pulled Kurumu into his arms. She smiled inwardly as she cuddled up closer to him. Out of the men she had met in the past, six months, she liked him the most. He always treated her with respect and genuinely cared about her.

Even though they were only "friends with benefits", Takashi secretly wanted a lot more but did not wish to ruin the "special relationship" that they had. Kurumu had told him when they first met, that she wished to have "no strings attached".

Shortly after, Kurumu was woken up by someone who had rang her doorbell, several times in a row. With a defeated sigh, she rose out of bed quietly as to not disturb her guest, who was still, fast asleep. After she had thrown on her white robe and matching slippers, she ambled towards the front door to see who had disturbed her peaceful slumber, even though it was already past 9 AM.

Once she had unlocked the door, she was surprised to see who it was on the other side: Kiriia Yoshi, who was already dressed for the day in an expensive, all-black business suit.

"Oh good morning, Kiriia. What brings you here so early?" she asked her boss, with a small smile.

"Good morning, Kurumu. I was just passing by to see how you're doing, that's all."

"I see. So, you're not just being nosy to see who had spent the night with me, then," she replied with a slight frown, which he had somewhat managed to ignore for the time being.

"No, of course not, even though it is rather amusing. I was hoping that you'd still consider me as a potential mate, and stop playing your endless games."

"I appreciate the offer, but I just wanna keep our relationship professional for now. It's nothing personal of course. Besides, you've done plenty for me which I really do appreciate," she said as her features softened up a bit. He treated her very well for an employee and also made sure that all of her expenses were paid for including her utilities and cell phone bill.

"Well, the offer still stands, Kurumu. I do care about you and you've been a great asset to the company, of course. I just don't like seeing you torment yourself."

"That's very sweet of you Kiriia, but I can't give you an answer yet. I don't wanna lead you on or give you the wrong idea... because – well - you know..." Kurumu answered with another frown.

"You're still not over Mister Aono, are you? He has moved on, Kurumu. You're going to have to realize that and get over him, besides; I heard through the grapevine that his mate, Moka Akashiya has a child now."

"What? You mean she's gonna have his baby?" she loudly inquired. That was the last thing she wanted to hear and first thing in the morning, especially from her immediate supervisor.

"Calm down, Kurumu. The short answer would be no. It seems as though they had adopted a young, vampire, girl," he quietly explained, before she did something stupid, like fly off and see for herself whether it was true, or not.

"Oh – I see," Kurumu said with a sigh of relief.

"But there is something rather – interesting about that. From what my source has told me, it would appear as though the young girl came from an alternate dimension," Kiriia said with a bemused smirk.

"Huh? An alternate dimension? How is that even possible?" Kurumu inquired in a shocked tone.

"I don't know all of the details at this time, but the girl attends a private school, not too far from Mister Aono's residence."

"Hm. Well – I don't understand all of that but thank you for telling me, Kiriia. Is there anything else?"

"Anytime, Kurumu. No... I don't think so. Anyway, enjoy the rest of your weekend and I'll see you Monday morning at nine."

"Oh, okay. Um, you too. See you then," she said as he turned around and walked down the hallway towards the elevator with a masochistic grin plastered on his lips. He silently hoped to have Kurumu as his mate and now that he had told her that tidbit of information, maybe she could move on and reconsider his more-than-generous offer.

After she closed and locked the heavy, wooden, door behind herself, she came face to face with Takashi, who had a concerned look on his face. He was dressed in a matching white robe and slippers as well.

"Oh, Takashi. Good morning. I didn't wake you up, did I?" she asked in a quiet voice.

"Good morning, Kurumu. Well, no – not really. I woke up a few minutes ago when I realized you weren't in bed. I just wondered where you ran off to."

"I'm sorry about that. My boss came by to see how I was doing," she said as she gave him a firm, affectionate hug.

"It's alright. I was, um – you know – worried about you, that's all," Takashi said as he returned the embrace rather firmly.

"That's very sweet of you, but everything's fine," Kurumu replied after they finished their hug.

"Oh, um... of course. And that's good to hear," he said as he reached down and held her hands in his own. As she took the not-so-subtle hint, she lead him into the living-room and had a seat on the leather loveseat since she had something on her mind.

"You know, Takashi. I've dated a lot of guys, but you're different. Not only are you a real sweetheart but I can tell that you really care about me, don't you?"

"Um, well. You mentioned um – something about you finding your soul mate or something. But I'm just being myself, Kurumu. And yeah, I do care about you. You told me when we met that you didn't wanna get into a serious relationship and I respect that. And you're a great girl. But... um..."

"Oh. Um, yes. I said that. But what? You know that you can tell me anything, Takashi. Even if it's embarrassing, I promise that I won't laugh or make fun of you, okay?" Kurumu said with a smile as she could tell that he was nervous.

Whatever it was had to difficult for him to say, she silently thought to herself. With a warm, genuine smile, she gave both of his hands a firm, reassuring, squeeze.

"Um... well you see... I know we've only been – you know... together on and off for a few months... and um – to be honest... you're such a beautiful woman and I really like spending time with you. But why me? What makes me so special? I'm just a regular guy," he sputtered out then hung his head low, almost in a shameful manner.

He had told her everything that he wanted to say, as embarrassing as it was and quietly hoped to himself that she would take his words to heart. Her heart went out to him immediately as she felt as though he was being honest with his feelings and wanted him to know that everything was fine.

"Oh Takashi. That's so sweet of you. The reason I spend so much time alone with you is because... I like to. I want to spend time with you, no strings attached. But... to be totally honest... you kinda remind me of my first love. He's moved on of course... but don't get the wrong idea though. You are very sweet, honest, kind, and treat me with respect. Which means so much to me. Back when I met him, I was very young and immature. In my family, we're told to look for the one we want to spend our lives with since we're old enough to talk."

Kurumu took a deep breath and continued:

"It was our freshman year of high school and I was fifteen years old when I met him. I did everything I could to have him look at me, and me alone. But he never had any real interest in me besides a friend, since he had eyes for another girl, who he met just before that. I look back now at all of that and see just how desperate I was – just to have him look at me, the way that he'd look at her – my biggest rival. But – after everything we went through, he always considered me a friend."

"It took me four years to realize what I did was wrong. I had forced myself on him and embarrassed myself to no end, more times than I can remember. And now, here I am, doing my best to get over a broken heart," she said with tears in her violet eyes.

"Kurumu... I'm so sorry. I'm sorry that I didn't know you back then," Takashi said as he surprised Kurumu and pulled her into a firm embrace and refused to let go until she felt better.

"Oh Takashi!" she said as she broke down and cried profusely.

Approximately ten minutes later, Kurumu's tears finally ceased. She stayed in the arms of her friend, Takashi who held her close.

"Are you okay now?" Takashi asked as he still embraced her warmly.

"Um, yeah. Thank you," the blue-haired succubus said with a sniffle. After they ended their extended hug a moment later, she pulled out a tissue from her robe pocket and swiftly wiped her eyes and nose. When she was finished, she stuffed it back into her pocket.

"Anytime Kurumu," he offered with a warm smile that somehow eased her heart.

"I'm sorry," she said with a slight frown.

"Why? You haven't done anything wrong," he replied as he held her hands, in his own once more.

"But I have," she protested. "You're too good for me and it feels like I'm using you for my own selfish needs."

"No Kurumu, you're wrong about that. I'm the one who feels as though I don't deserve to be anywhere near you. You told me so much and it seems to me that you've grown up a lot since then. Even though you're still looking for your soul mate or destined one... maybe he's not that far away."

"See what I mean? After I told you everything, you're still here. Most guys would've run away by now. I'm the one that doesn't deserve anyone like you. You're just too nice, especially to someone like me!" Kurumu said as she tried to pull away from him but found it difficult. Her heart hammered heavily in her abundant bosom and she felt as if it was about to burst out from her chest.

"And I told you I'm just being myself. And – I really like you!" he said in the heat of the moment.

Stunned by his abrupt confession, Kurumu was rendered silent as he hesitantly leaned forward. As his face closed in, her mind became blank, unsure of what to make of the sudden development.

"Please Takashi, don't," she said with a tear in the corner of her eye.

"Why not? Don't you like me, too?" he asked, a few centimeter from her lips.

"Because – because if I kiss you now, I don't know if I can hold myself back. And yeah... that's the problem.. I – like you, too," was her blunt reply, as a fast blush raced across her cheeks.

Before he could answer, Kurumu closed the short space between themselves and kissed him softly on his lips. Once he realized what had happened, he pulled her closer and then leaned back on the couch. They continued to kiss each other devotedly for several minutes.

Kurumu felt as though a raging inferno had been ignited in the pit of her stomach as she yearned to be closer than she already was. As their petting intensified, she felt weak in her knees and knew at that very moment that there was something special about him. After all was said and done, he had accepted her, all of her, for who she was and kissed her back without hesitation.

Maybe he was her one-and-only, "Mate of Fate".

Takashi on the other hand felt as though he was the luckiest man in the world at that moment which he wished for not to end, anytime, soon. He had just kissed the most beautiful woman that he had ever met in his twenty year life and realized that his relationship with the blue-haired bombshell would be different from that minute, on.

Several minutes later, the pair broke their kiss before either one had passed out due to lack of oxygen. They just remained glued in place, as they both gasped for air with their faces flushed.

Kurumu smiled happily while Takashi wondered to himself what had gotten into her so suddenly. He dare not ask her of course, less she think he was some sort of idiot. That thought alone did not deter him however from smiling the biggest grin he could muster at that very second while they cuddled on the loveseat.

With a contented sigh along with a blissful look upon her features, Kurumu sat up from the couch several minutes later. Takashi sat up to join her as well.

"Um, Takashi – how are you feeling?" she asked as she reached over to and held his right hand in her own. She looked into his kind, chocolate brown orbs as she searched for any aftereffect of her Charm, which she was not sure if she had used in the heat of the moment or not. Luckily, his eyes were crystal clear. Their kiss was untainted.

"Uh, I feel great. I gotta admit though, you really surprised me. I had no idea how amazing of a kisser you were," he answered with a goofy smile.

"I feel wonderful. Well, um... you're a really good kisser, too," she admitted with an adorable blush. Their good mood was rudely interrupted by a loud rumbling which originated from Takashi.

"Um, sorry about that," he sheepishly replied.

"It's okay, sweetie. How about I make us some breakfast now?"

"Oh thanks. Really? What's the occasion?" he said with a raised eyebrow.

"Anytime. Well, um... I guess you were right. About what you said earlier. I don't know how I could be so blind, but what would you say if I told you that... you're my destined one?" she asked with slight trepidation and apprehension.

"I'd say that I'd be honored to be with you, as long as we took our time to really get to know each other," he replied with a smile that caused her heart to beat even faster than before.

"You really mean that?" Kurumu asked with a wide smile of her own.

"As long as we take it slow and spend more time together, then sure. I'd really like that. So I guess it's official, huh? I mean about us being a couple."

"Oh Takashi – thank you. Just hearing you say that has made me very happy. Yes, I do like the sound of that, I mean us being a couple. Now, about that breakfast," she said as she stood up from the mini-couch, hands still linked.

"Um, you're welcome. Well, I'll just do my best to make you happy, because just being near you makes me happy. And yeah, breakfast sounds great. Lead the way, beautiful," he answered as he followed her into the kitchen.

"Stop it, Takashi. You're embarrassing me... but to be honest, I like being near you as well. And I promise that I'll do my best to make you happy, too," she said with a grin.

"I wouldn't have said it if it weren't true," he answered.

With a bright blush and a happy bounce in her step, the blue-haired succubus lead her destined one into the kitchen so she could prepare breakfast. She felt lucky and yet, still weak in the knees every time he glanced in her general direction.

Kurumu Kurono had finally found her destined one, at last; the long years of seeking her purpose through her heartache was realized. As the young succubus stepped towards the kitchen counter, the dulling pain receded. Where a raging storm had once held its firm stance, only sweet peacefulness remained.

Author's Note:

Did some last minute editing since some words ran into each other and added a bit to the overall chapter without affecting the overall plot. (12/10/2014, 1:40AM)

About this chapter:

I know. It seemed too easy that Kurumu had finally found her destined one. But I thought to myself, even though I'm not a fan of hers and have treated her badly in the past, like any character, she really deserves to be happy. I came up with this idea a few nights ago and decided to go ahead and write it. I know it's short but I hope you guys and gals enjoyed it. And yes, Takashi could be Tsukune's twin, minus the eyeglasses and difference in height.
