A/N: Happy New Year to all of my friends and readers!

I am really sorry and I must apologize for not getting this first chapter of 2015 out sooner, but I just needed some well-deserved time off from writing. The holidays were fun but rather draining and I'm glad that they're finally over! Anyway, here is the first NEW chapter of the New Year!

For all of you action fans, this chapter's for you so please enjoy. Any constructive feedback and criticism is more than welcome and always appreciated! :)

Guest reviews are still moderated and accepted as long as they stay on-topic.

By the way, I decided to skip over Moka and Tsukune's birthdays this time, since I wrote similar chapters earlier in this "reboot".

As of this writing, this "reboot" has 160,000 views. Thank you all so much for the continued support!

A big shout-out to Phoenix Helix from here on FF for co-authoring this chapter with me and writing the fight / training scene – thanks again, mate!

...

Wednesday morning, June 17, 2015. Aono residence.

"Hey Moka, don't forget to wear something nice for our date," Tsukune said from his side of the closed, bedroom door.

"Of course, love. I'll be ready soon," Moka replied with a smile. Tsukune then made his way downstairs while his fiancée found something presentable for their spur-of-the moment date. It was barely ten in the morning by the time he had told her about their impromptu outing.

With a spring in her step, Moka walked over to the bedroom closet and slid the door open. She dug around the cramped space for a few moments before something familiar caught her eye.

It was her Yokai Academy uniform.

With a smile, she removed the uniform from its hanger and admired it with a slight sadness in her heart. Since she was sealed up for roughly half of her high school life, she only had the opportunity to wear it for nearly a year and a half since the defeat of Alucard and the anti-human group known as Fairy Tale.

'I wonder if it still fits?' she thought to herself. With a nod, she quickly removed her red nightgown over her head and then neatly folded the silky garment in half. She then set it on the foot of the bed. She then placed the white blouse around her slender torso and buttoned it up.

The vampiress then stopped since the last, top, button would not fasten properly. After she had taken a deep breath, she rapidly buttoned the stubborn button, which made the shirt feel tighter around her abundant bosom.

With a slight scowl she slid each of her slender arms through each of the sleeves of the sea-green jacket which she realized felt somewhat snug as well. Lastly she shimmied the tan, gingham skirt over her shapely thighs, then hips. Taking another deep breath, she zipped the skirt up, which barely covered her voluptuous derriere.

"Hey Moka? Are you about ready to go yet?" Tsukune asked as he tapped on the bedroom door.

"Damn it!" Moka silently cursed to herself.

Not getting an answer from his mate, Tsukune turned the brass handle of the door and opened it. He was not sure if he was dreaming or not when he saw that Moka was dressed in her school uniform.

As she was about to reply to her mate, the top button of her white Academy, blouse popped off and flew across the room.

*SMACK*

The tiny, white, projectile hit Tsukune square between the eyes and off his feet. He then hit the floor with a loud 'thud'. Worried that she had hurt him by accident, Moka rushed to his side. She noticed that there was a small button-shaped indentation in his forehead.

The button itself was nowhere to be found, after it had bounced off his forehead.

The auburn-haired vampiress promptly knelt down to the floor and cradled his head in her soft, yet firm, bosom.

"Oh love, I'm so sorry..." she lamented.

"Mfff-ffffm!" he protested a moment later, unsure of why all he could see was white.

"Oh Tsukune! Are you alright?" Moka asked as she released him from her "hug of doom".

"Um, yeah... I'm okay. What the hell hit me though?" he asked as his face returned to its natural color, instead of blue.

"The button from my blouse," she truthfully admitted as she glanced at the floor, unable to meet his gaze.

"A button? And why are you wearing your old Yokai uniform?" he asked out of curiosity. He then reached out and held her hands in his own.

"Yes, a button from my blouse. I um – well I kind of wanted to see if it still fit me or not. Apparently, it no longer does, properly," she replied as she looked into his kind, chocolate, orbs.

"I see. Well, maybe you've gained some weight," he said with a chuckle. The vampiress's upset features then changed to mild anger as her eyes burned red.

"What was that?" she asked as she pulled away from him, clearly perturbed.

"I was only joking, Moka!" Tsukune said in a mild panic as he placed his hands in front of him. He half-expected her to show him his place, but she did not.

"Maybe you're right. Maybe I have gained some weight since moving here," she said as a stray tear trickled down her cheek.

"I was only teasing, Moka. You do know that, right?" he said as he did his best to clam her down before she did something stupid, like send him through a wall.

"Well maybe... I have gained a little weight. My bra seems to be a bit tight as well. Perhaps it's about time we have some training again," Moka replied as her features softened. She then gave her loving mate a firm hug.

"Training? You're kidding, right?" he asked with a sweat-drop. The last thing he wanted to do, was that!

"Of course. We can use Paradise like we have before. I'll contact Mikogami and ask him if we can come by the Academy today. I'll also ask mom if she can pick up Tamiko after school," Moka said while she remained in the arms of Tsukune.

"Um, what about our date?" Tsukune inquired while they ended their hug.

"Don't worry. If you can beat me, we can do whatever you want," she answered with a wink which caused him to blush at the very prospect. Even though he did not like to fight, the very thought of training alone with Moka made him moderately nervous since she tended to go overboard, more often than not.

Yokai Academy, one hour later.

As Nurai, the Bus Driver dropped the vampire couple off at the entrance to the educational institution, he wished the both of them the best of luck in their training. Per the monster school's number one rule, they both arrived with their powers sealed and in their human guises.

As the couple approached the front entrance, they noticed that numerous students had taken notice of them, as they stepped off the small, green and yellow bus. With a sigh, Tsukune opened the heavy, metal door and allowed Moka to enter the ancient building first.

They quickly walked down the empty hallway and made it to the Headmaster's office in record time. Moka then knocked on the wooden door. A moment later it was opened by none other than their elder, Witch friend, Ruby. With a bright smile she greeted the duo and pulled them into a group hug.

"Tsukune! Moka! It's so good to see you again!" she energetically replied after a brief moment.

"It's good to see you as well, Ruby," Moka replied.

They both returned the sudden embrace with a smile on their lips. After she let the pair go, she recomposed herself into her more professional role as the school chairman's head assistant.

"You can go inside as he's waiting for you," she said as she walked them over to Mikogami's office.

"Ah, thanks Ruby," Tsukune said with a small smile. She bowed to the duo then walked back to her desk since she had some unfinished paperwork that waited for her.

Moka pushed open the door in front of her and stepped into the Headmaster's office. Tenmi Mikogami greeted the pair with a creepy smile on his face and was dressed in his traditional white "priest" robes, with the Rosary of Judgment wrapped around his right wrist.

"Mister Aono and Miss Akashiya. It's so good to see the both of you once again."

"It's good to see you, sir," Tsukune said with a bow. Moka took the not-so-subtle hint and bowed likewise out of respect.

"So, it's come to my attention that you wish to use my little pocket dimension to do some training. Is that correct?" he asked with a raised brow.

"Yes, sir. We thought it would be best to train somewhere – isolated," Moka answered.

"I see. I see. So I take it that you are both getting along rather well, from what my assistant Ruby has told me."

"Yes, sir. We're getting along fine and our wedding is in four weeks from now. We'd be honored if you could attend, of course," Tsukune said.

"It is rather unusual for you two to make such a request but considering all you have done for this school and what it stands for, I will grant it. Lay off killing anything within my little 'paradise' though, will you?" Mikogami said with a small laugh.

"No worries, sir – nobody's gonna die, that much we can promise," Tsukune replied with a sweat-drop, as he held Moka's hand.

"That is good to hear, Mister Aono. I will check my calender and will let you know if I will be able to attend your wedding, or not. Now as for using Paradise, just remember that time flows differently there. I will send Ruby in at the end of the school day to retrieve you. That gives you about four hours to do what needs to be done. And by the way, do not worry about any damage that may ensue – it will repair itself by the time you are finished," he said with a nod.

"Oh thank you, sir," Moka replied with a weak smile. Mikogami then waved his right hand and a doorway materialized out of thin air.

Moka and Tsukune both removed their limiters which unsealed their vampire selves. Once the bright pink and golden lights faded, they both smiled at each other. They then each placed the enchanted items in Moka's purse for safe keeping.

"Think nothing of it as more than a favor to my two, favorite students. And remember that the feeling will wear off once you are transported there," he said as Moka and Tsukune walked up to the "doorway" which led to the pocket dimension, better known as 'Paradise'.

"We'll see you in four hours and thank you once again," Tsukune said with a nod as they walked through the doorway and then vanished from sight. They were instantly transported from Yokai Academy to Paradise in the blink of an eye.

Several moments later, both vampires found themselves in a vast, grassy, field. Around the perimeter of the empty savannah, were dozens of huge trees, approximately 50 meters away on all sides.

The pair blinked their eyes in confusion as the after-affects of the "teleportation" between dimensions left them slightly lightheaded and disoriented.

Tsukune was the first to sit up.

He looked up at the faint, red sky above as a wave of nostalgia washed over. He recalled the first time he woke up there, of all places. "Paradise" was also the place where he learned how to use his developing vampire powers and to also gain a better apprehension of what he was capable of so he could save and protect the one he loved the most: Moka.

Ruby was the one to help guide him back then, more or less.

Moka sat up a moment later and noticed that she was no longer in the yokai realm. The two moons in the red sky above were an indication of just as much. Tsukune then walked over to her side and offered her a hand up, which she warmly accepted with a blush.

"It's been a while, hasn't it?" he asked as they got a better idea of exactly where they were inside the pocket dimension that was created by Mikogami and the Rosary of Judgment.

"Yes it has. I must admit that I'll never get used to how we even get here in the first place," she commented as she took in her immediate surroundings.

"Well, it'll wear off in a few minutes. Why don't we practice here? I don't see any lakes or river close by, which is a real bonus," Tsukune suggested. Moka accepted his idea with a simple nod. She then quickly removed her blue jeans and red tee-shirt, much to Tsukune's surprise.

"Moka? What the hell are you doing?" he asked with a shout as his face grew a healthy shade of red.

"What does it look like? I am taking my clothes off so I won't ruin them," she answered as she stood in front of him dressed in a form-fitting black pair of shorts with a matching v-necked undershirt. She then placed her neatly-folded clothes on top of a round, flat rock.

"Oh, right... um... I guess I didn't think of that beforehand," he said as he scratched the back of his neck out of nervous habit. He then removed his blue tee-shirt and stood before her only in his jeans and sneakers. Moka blushed hard herself as she was flustered by her mate's sudden, audacious, gesture.

"If you are trying to distract me, then you need to do a better job of it. Now – come at me full strength," she mocked in a serious tone, as she took her classic, fighting pose.

Tsukune calmly focused his yokai and then looked at Moka with slight trepidation.

"Tsukune? What's wrong?" she asked with concern on her voice.

"I can't do this," he admitted as he looked to the ground, almost in a shameful manner.

"Why not?" she inquired as she kept her distance.

"Because... I can't hit you," he said.

"Tsukune... love. It is alright. You cannot harm me. You should know this. You are a Shinso vampire now, like myself. You are more than capable to do this but yet you still have doubt. What happened between the time you fought Kiriia Yoshi and now? You beat him, remember?" she asked as she took a few steps closer towards him.

"I know all of that Moka... but I can't – I can't raise a hand to you. Even though it's only for training, I still – can't bring myself to – hit you."

"Oh Tsukune. Don't do this to yourself. I know how you are but you have to realize that we vampires need to learn how to defend ourselves. Even if it's against our mates, we still need to train on a regular basis. We both have grown too soft since moving back to the human world. So please, as my mate, as my one-and-only true love, please. For me if not for yourself. I do not wish to hit you either, but please try, alright?" Moka said as she slowly walked up to him and gave him a loving hug. He reciprocated the act of affection with great fervor.

Moka knew he had a point, though. In her mind she also realized that he had grown stronger, but still was very much human. He was raised to never hit a woman and that sour thought alone sickened him.

The young Vampire had faced Moka's own half-sisters during the entire Fairy Tale incident, but that was completely different. They were not Moka whom he had always loved and cared about since the moment they first met.

Once they ended their hug, Tsukune gave Moka an apologetic smile as he hesitantly took to her classic fighting stance. The thought of harming her, even if accidental during the sparring session simply did not work well with him, but knowing Moka like he did, he knew the bout was going to happen.

'Hopefully I can just fend her off and subdue...' Tsukune mentally thought to himself as he focused his mind and body. Within moments, Moka was on him; her executions all but flawless and in his distracted attempts to prevent harming her, Tsukune found his arms and palms stinging and burning as each blow connected.

'Come on, Tsukune! You are much better then this! Do not hold back!' Moka mentally cried as she caught a half-hearted counter-blow and retaliated with an elbow to Tsukune's sternum. Moka grew more and more frustrated by the second as she watched her fiancée who took the blow and growled at the sharp stab of pain in his gut.

"Tsukune, stop thinking of me as your fiancée, I am your opponent in this match!" Moka yelled, a little more harsher than she would admit, but as she pushed from the ground with her powerful legs; she knew that Tsukune would only be more inclined to co-operate once he was cornered. Provided he did not get himself knocked out first, that is.

Tsukune's head narrowly avoided collision from one of Moka's powerful kicks by instinct alone; he swiftly avoided another before he quickly grabbed her her leg; only to give the Vampiress enough momentum to swing her other leg into a flip kick, aimed directly at his jaw.

Tsukune felt a colossal jolt shoot through his body as he fell back and hit the ground with a loud 'thud'. He managed to recover in time and channeled enough youkai into his thighs to leap backward as Moka utilized her growing momentum to dash forward.

"You cannot win this by just running away!" Moka growled as she quickly grabbed Tsukune by his left arm then swung him with once again more force then she intended with dawning horror as she noticed he had headed straight towards a small creek that was in his path.

"Tsukune!" Moka exclaimed in panic then immediately breathed a sigh of relief as she noticed Tsukune monopolize the momentum then unfolded his wings; he took to the air just before he hit the purifying water.

"Now that was a close one..." Tsukune gasped to himself as he noticed several, smaller, ayashi stare up at him nervously before he landed in front of Moka.

"Guess the muscle memory saved me there, huh?" he offered with a nervous chuckle as he noticed the disapproving look on his fiancee's face.

"Tsukune. You are just not taking this seriously at all, are you!?" Moka cried in frustration.

"I can't Moka – I just can't!" Tsukune retorted gently as he could.

"Before I was training for a purpose – but now there isn't. And I can't just go hurting you, even accidentally; it's just not in me!" he explained as he hung his head shamelessly.

Moka sighed slightly in frustration, she knew deep down that he would act this way; that he could only train with a purpose in mind. Unlike most Vampires who sought only power, Tsukune was different in that he only fought to protect. She admired that about him, but when it came to training just to keep in shape; his virtue was more of a detriment.

"How many times am I to tell you? We are not fighting; only sparring like the old days," Moka offered as softly as she was able.

"I trust you enough to never hurt me so don't be overly-dramatic," she added with a small nod.

The Vampiress took to a pose and offered a serene smile; the likes of which always won her love over.

"Now come on; it's only a friendly spar," she said lightly with a small smile.

Her smile faded slightly as she took a leap as she concentrated on her Creation ability and unfolded her own wings into a dive.

'It's only for sparring...' Tsukune muttered to himself as he braced himself for Moka's next assault; he dodged narrowly as the Vampiress' kick missed him by mere centimeters. Tsukune quickly spun around and countered a second kick with his forearm.

"That's it!" Moka praised encouragingly before she channeled a great level of youkai into her leg before she prepared for a powerful dropkick. To her surprise; Tsukune caught her thigh before raising her entire leg above her head, throwing off her balance before sweeping her other leg and using the momentum to throw her.

Tsukune cringed worryingly as he heard Moka's back connect with a nearby boulder with a sickening 'whack'. As she dropped to the ground with a hiss from her lips, the boulder itself was shown to have taken the brunt with newly-formed cracks trickling along its surface.

"Moka! I'm so sorry!" Tsukune exclaimed as he rushed to her side as he thought she was seriously injured.

"Don't be; I've had much worse" Moka responded in spite of having to rub her lower back which tingled from the aftermath of the harsh blow.

"I guess it's just been a while..." Tsukune replied sheepishly as he offered his arm to her in aid, only to find it twisted sharply before a sharp pain met his chest; Moka's kick held enough force to send him flying.

"It has. Just remember; opponents look for openings like that!" Moka replied with a playful smirk as she revealed her own wings and charged after him. The two vampires chased each other around, high above the savannah for some time, not keeping track of the current time as they continued to train.

...

"Hmm, they've been in for more then four hours now..." Ruby muttered as she looked up at the ornate clock which hung on the wall of her office. She had been casually reading through Mikogami's rough draft which she would have to write out in full after Moka and Tsukune were meant to return.

The Witch briskly made her way to the materialized door to Paradise and then opened it, only to be met with a blast of raw, youkai energy which shook through her entire body like electricity. As she recovered, Ruby gasped almost in climax as she managed to pull herself through and glanced over at the nearby field.

"I almost forgot how that felt..." Ruby sighed as she shivered in delight; the sight of two powerful Shinso Vampires by itself was a display to behold, but the energy that Moka and Tsukune had radiated forcefully, only added a hint of spice to the show.

The Witch grimaced as she beheld Tsukune being thrown toward the ground; his clothes tattered and his skin covered in bruises made her almost forget that he would soon recover; and guiltily she quickly daydreamed of being manhandled herself.

"Tsukune! You're gonna have to do... Ruby?" Moka called and noticed the Witch leaning against the doorway, and gave what could only be defined as, a disappointed breath.

"I really miss those good old times..." Ruby murmured in pleasure before she shook her head. "I was told to tell you when your four hours were up," she continued as she recalled the reason why she had interrupted their training session.

"It's been four hours already?" Tsukune questioned as he pulled himself out of the indentation his impact had made.

"Yes, it seems like you two must have had fun," Ruby playfully giggled as she gestured towards the two Shinso Vampire's now tattered clothing.

"If you'd like I'll see if I can salvage your clothes," she offered with a wink.

"Ah, thanks Ruby. We gotta get home anyways. I'm sure Tamiko wants to hear about our day," Tsukune answered with nervous laugh. Luckily for the male Shinso, his tee-shirt was fine since he had removed it earlier. His jeans on the other hand, not so much.

After Ruby had magically repaired the vampire's tattered clothes, they bid her goodbye and thanked her once again for her help. Nurai pulled up to the couple in the mini green and yellow bus. As he opened the door, he gestured for them to board.

"Heh-heh-heh. Looks like you two been through hell. I hope you didn't make too much of a mess to Mikogami's playground," he said as he chewed on his ever-present cigar. Moka just glared daggers at him as she led Tsukune towards the rear of the bus and took the last seat. She was honestly not in the mood for his comments at the time.

The bus-ride back to the human world was quiet as the two vampires just leaned against each other with small smiles across their lips.

"Tsukune, I'm sorry I was a bit too rough with you, but you have improved a lot. I just hope that we don't have to fight anyone unnecessarily, anytime soon," Moka said as she gave him a soft kiss on his right cheek which caused him to blush since the Bus Driver had glanced back at the duo via the mirror which gave him an unobstructed view of the bus's entire interior.

"It's okay Moka. I'm sorry I had thrown you like that myself, but like I said before, I really didn't wanna hit you but you kinda left me no choice. I know it's for my own good but I don't wanna fight anyone either – not unless we have to," he said as he placed his right arm around her shoulders and pulled her closer to himself.

"Don't worry about it love. I was just surprised how quickly you reacted, that's all. I'm totally fine, except for a few bruises that will heal up before the end of the day," she said as she pressed herself closer to him and happily exhaled.

Before either teen realized it, they were back in the human world – specifically, Tsukune's hometown. Nurai the Bus Driver pulled up to the sky-blue house and then opened the front door of the mini-bus. The vampire pair thanked him once again as they exited the bus itself.

Moka was pleased that her little plan went along without any major issues. She silently hoped to herself that they would not have to face anyone in the near future, even though she loved to fight since it was in her blood. But she would do whatever she could to live in peace with her new family and blood-mate. Besides, plans were already made for their big day in one month's time.

Moka could hardly wait!

Author's Note: PLEASE READ!

Once again I am sorry for the lateness of this chapter since it was co-authored with Phoenix-Helix from here on FF. He works a lot and could not get the last part of the training session to me until today. I know this is a short chapter but it will have to do for now. The next chapter will be a lot longer and more lighthearted, I promise!

Any and all feedback as reviews is always welcome! :)

By the way, this story will be ending VERY soon.

Like I have told everyone before, it will end with the wedding of Tsukune and Moka with NO plans to go beyond that. Once this story is done, it's done. I will not be covering anything past their wedding whatsoever so please do not ask me to do so.

I also have no plans at this time to write anymore fan-fics, as I need a long break from writing. I might start on a new story later on this year but I cannot say if and when that will happen. Sorry to disappoint, but I do not make any money from writing. I write for you, the fans, in my spare time as a hobby. Thank you for your time.
