"Last time I was pulled into a Hidden Well on my family's shrine. I'm just a girl in middle school, okay? Nothing that weird EVER happen to me. There was another girl, Grace, who I met and made a friend with when I came out and a boy, Inuyasha, pinned to a tree. The spell should have held him forever. But I broke it somehow. Now, monsters are after the Sacred Jewel of Four Souls. And here I am, stuck in a Feudal Age of Japan along with Grace. Not only that, but Grace also has a Sacred Jewel in her body as well but it's purer and more sacred." Kagome narrated.
"Iron Reaver, Soul Stealer!" Inuyasha shouted as he claws at the centipede's mouth and splits the centipede body into two. The body breaks into pieces and lands scattered on the ground.
"But how did it get inside my body? Why would I have a jewel wanted by demons?" Kagome asked, holding the Sacred Jewel in her hands.
"If you hand the jewel over right now...I won't have to start sharping my claws on you." Inuyasha smirked.
Seekers of the Sacred Jewel and the Host of the Powerful Sacred and Pure Jewel [Inuyasha]
~The Sacred Tree~
Grace is standing behind Kaede and Kagome after she took the jewel from Mistress Centipede and now looking at the awake and free Inuyasha who is now waiting for them to hand over the Sacred Jewel all the villagers surround Inuyasha from behind.
"Pay no heed to Inuyasha, girl!" Kaede said as Grace and Kagome looked at the Sacred Jewel in Kagome's hand.
'The Sacred Jewel makes monsters more powerful. Is it cursed?' Kagome and Grace thought to themselves.
"I hate having to wait. And I hate the smell of you." Inuyasha snarled as he started to run towards them. Kagome gasped and started to run away.
"Kagome!" Grace shouted as she run after her then Inuyasha jumped into the air but Kagome tripped over one of Mistress Centipede's bones. While she is falling, Inuyasha tries to use his claws on her but he ends up missing above her head. Kagome skids across the ground and Inuyasha lands on the ground two feet
"Want me to scratch your back?" Inuyasha smirked, holding up his claw.
"Stop it! Kagome is just an innocent girl! She didn't do anything to you!" Grace shouted, running in front of Kagome and stretched her arms at her sides.
"You stay out of this! This got nothing to do with a fairy like you!" Inuyasha retorted as Grace's eyes widened at that.
'He realized that I'm a fairy? Oh, no. My powers really must have give it away.' Grace thought to herself, worried.
"You really tried to hit me just now, didn't you?" Kagome frowned, looking at him.
"Shoot him! Shoot him!" The villagers shouted as they fired their arrows at him, but Inuyasha easily breaks them. He runs again and jumps, slicing the two trees on either side of the villagers, causing the trees to fall and the villagers to run and scream.
"Heh! Who you people think I am, anyway?! You think you can hurt me like I did that centipede!?" Inuyasha scoffed.
"Lady Kaede! Me thinks we might have chanced the centipede." One of the village men said.
"Somehow, I knew that it would eventually come to this." Kaede said as she dig into her kimono and pulled out a necklace. Kagome and Grace were running away through the forest.
"Prepare yourself!" Inuyasha said as he jumped on and from treetop to treetop, chasing after them.
"Prepare? For what?!" Kagome panted as she and Grace looked behind them and gasped and screamed when Inuyasha catches up to them and missed them again with his claws. The power sends them falling to the ground several feet away and the Sacred Jewel landed in front of them.
"Heh!" Inuyasha smirked as he jumped on a treetop and jumped off, heading towards the Jewel. "Now, it's mine!" Kaede is in a praying stance, holding the prayer bead necklace which is glowing. The beads disperse and fly into the air. They separately land around Inuyasha's neck and form the necklace. "Huh?" He lands on a rock. "What the heck are these?"
"Quickly, children! Utter the word of subjugation!" Kaede told Kagome and Grace.
"What word?" Kagome questioned, looking at Kaede.
"It matters not. Your word has power to hold his spirit." Kaede said as Kagome grabs Grace's hand and they run towards the edge of the cliff.
"Kagome, look out in front of you! There's a cliff!" Grace shouted as she stopped but Kagome falls down a cliff landing shortly afterwards...Inuyasha stops before them as he looks at the Jewel that has fallen out of Kagome's hand.
"Huh, as if she could control me!" Inuyasha smirked as he lands in the center of the bridge a bit further than the jewel.
"Ah. Umm...ah..." Kagome stammered.
"Kagome, look at his ears on top of his head!" Grace said as Kagome looked at Inuyasha's ear twitching and got the idea.
"Sit boy!" Kagome and Grace shouted in unison as the beads around Inuyasha's neck glow and pull him down, face first into the bridge. The Echo of Sit boy and Inuyasha's moan is heard all around.
"Hey, what'd you know? It worked." Grace said, amazed.
"Yeah. Wish we'd said it sooner." Kagome agreed. Inuyasha sits up grasping the necklace around his neck.
"What the heck is this thing?" Inuyasha grunted as he attempts to pull it off, but it won't move.
"I'm sorry Inuyasha, but even you lack the power to remove it." Kaede said as Inuyasha is still attempting to pull it off. he stands up
"We'll see about that! I'd come up there and finish you off, if you didn't look half dead already!" Inuyasha shouted, pointing up at Kaede.
"The word please..." Kaede said.
"...Sit Boy." Kagome and Grace said in unison again. The Necklace glows again, causing Inuyasha to falls down on the bridge and breaks the bridge, falling into the rushing river below, screaming.
"Well then, shall we head home?" Kaede asked as she and the villagers left.
"That was easy. Can't believe we didn't do that sooner..." Grace muttered.
~Next Morning at the Village of Kaede~
The Village is repairing the damage made from Mistress Centipede Hammers are heard on wood as men fix the roofs Inside the Hut Of Kaede Kagome, Kaede, Grace and Inuyasha are inside Inuyasha is lying around as Kaede bandages Kagome's belly.
"How's that? Perhaps I'll put more angent on your belly." Kaede said.
"Urhh..." Kagome grunted.
"I noticed your rebuilding the wrecked houses made by Mistress Centipede." Grace said.
"Pain yes, and just beginning now that the Sacred Jewel is back among us, far worse than Mistress Centipede will come to claim it." Kaede said.
"Worse than yesterday?" Kagome asked.
"And not just Demons, there are Humans whose hearts are eviler still. and only the Jewel has the power to make real their petty grasping ambitions." Kaede explained.
"I see." Grace said.
"Speaking of petty..." Kagome said, looking over to Inuyasha and glaring at him. "What are you still doing here?"
"I'm waiting for the Jewel." Inuyasha said.
"With the beads around his neck, his threat is diminished. It is perhaps the only way we can allow him so close to the Jewel." Kaede said.
"Why do you want the Jewel anyway? It seems to me you're strong enough as it is." Grace said as Kagome looks at the Jewel in her hand. "What power can the Jewel give you that you don't already have?"
"Ah, but he's just Half-Demon." Kaede said. Then, Inuyasha smashes his fist into the floor. breaking the boards easily.
"You know what? I'm sick of hearing some dried-up witch I just met talk like she knows me!" Inuyasha said, glaring at Kaede.
"So ye don't remember? I thought as much. I'm younger Sister to Kikyo. she who bound ye to the tree, Kaede." Kaede said.
"You're Kaede." Inuyasha said as he is remembering the little Kaede next to Kikyo when she was still alive. Kaede still had both eyes working. "So, you're the brat huh?"
"Fifty Years have passed and I've grown old." Kaede said as Inuyasha scratched his head.
"If you're this old, Kikyo must be pushing a hundred. I'm sure glad I don't have to worry about being old. At least not for a while." Inuyasha smirked.
"Kikyo didn't worry either. Kikyo died." Kaede revealed as Inuyasha's ears twitch, and his eyes open slowly. "It was on the same day she shot ye with the arrow." She puts some wood into the fireplace."
"Gee, sorry to hear it. Not that I really care or nothin." Inuyasha said as he returns to lounge around. "It's one less thing for me to worry about."
"I wouldn't let my guard down just yet Inuyasha. I know now that Kagome is the reincarnation of my sister." Kaede said as she turned to look at Kagome. "And it isn't just because you resemble her. The Jewel of Four souls were in your body that alone is proof enough." Grace is staring at Kaede knowing she may be right because she remembered Kagome using some sort of Spiritual power...she looks down at her hands, seeing magic aura on her hands. Kaede turns to look at Grace. "Ye are a real-life fairy and have a special Sacred Jewel inside ye body."
"Really?" Inuyasha questioned, interested along with Kagome.
"It explains how there are Spiritual Energy inside her body but it hasn't awakened yet. Also, you unleashing some magic is proof enough and they are strong." Kaede explained.
"Hmm." Inuyasha hummed as he turns to look at Grace. "I'm gonna have to agree with her because I can smell that you are a fairy."
"I see." Grace said before she got up. "I'm going out to see if there's anything that I can help with the villagers."
"You are a kind soul. Go on ahead." Kaede nodded as Grace walks out of the hunt as the others watch her leave...she walks towards the Village seeing people were still building when they see her and quickly, they begin whispering about her.
"She's the one who is a fairy and have a special Sacred Jewel in her body." Villager 1 whispered.
"Who knows how anything is done these days?" Villager 2 whispered back. Grace walks over to them.
"Hey...I am sorry about what happened yesterday...I can help you a little if you want." Grace said.
"It would be a nice help..." Villager 3 said as Grace smiles a little as she gets to work helping them place boards and nails around so people can use them...everyone was so thankful for her that they gave her some new clothes to use while she was there...it was a pretty kimono...she was feeling comfortable in this as she thanks them for the gifts and walks towards a Tree where she sees Inuyasha there.
'She died. And I never knew...' Inuyasha thought to himself. Grace smiles a little and throws a pear at Inuyasha's back his instinct's catch the pear in time, without even Looking. He looks at what's in his hand and looks to see Grace.
"Hmmm?" Inuyasha questioned.
"Hey there, aren't you hungry?" Grace smiled. "I thought I gave you a pear in case you are."
"Where'd you get all that stuff from?" Inuyasha asked.
"I was helping the villagers rebuilt some hunts and they thanked me by giving me this stuff...let's share this." Grace smiled, making Inuyasha blush a little before he shakes it off. Inuyasha comes down...and he is sitting doggy position. while she sits down beside him, eating her fruit.
"It looks like you are embracing the change." Inuyasha said.
"Yes." Grace said.
"Why are you suddenly being nice to me? I almost killed your friend Kagome." Inuyasha said. Grace smiled at him at little.
"I forgive you because you were actually angry at Kikyo not Kagome." Grace said. "Besides from the way you sound, it looks like this Kikyo must have done something to upset you so much to leave you to have hatred for her."
"Hmph." Inuyasha hmphed as he jumps back up onto the branch of the tree.
"But you should know she isn't Kikyo...so, don't take your anger out on her because you are angry at Kikyo...it's not fair to her." Grace said.
"Hah...I know that, but she has the Jewel, and I will do whatever it takes to get it from her." Inuyasha said as Grace gets up, looking up at Inuyasha and sighs with a smile as she picks up her basket full of food but places an apple at the base of the tree.
"Okay. Well, I should leave you be. But if you need anything, you can tell me. Bye." Grace smiled as she walks back down the hill as Inuyasha watches her go wondering why she was being so nice to him, and she wasn't that bad looking of a girl as he jumps down from the tree and grabs the apple and eats it.
~Kaede's Hut~
Grace is sleeping by the fire as she wonders if she ever gets back home.
"It's two days now that we've been over here...I will find a way to get back home...someday." Grace murmured before she went to sleep. Outside its pitch dark all the crows are resting on the dead branches of a tree. One is supersized and has 3 eyes. It's staring at Kagome inside the hut and see's the Jewel on her neck. Inuyasha comes flying out of nowhere and tries to slice the crows away.
"Hmph...they've all come just because they've smelt the Jewel. Stinking vultures." Inuyasha said.
[It is Now Morning.]
Kagome is walking up a hill towards Inuyasha's Forest.
"Inuyasha's forest. Dry Well. It's how I came here after all. There's gotta be some kind of hint how to get home." Kagome muttered. The villagers are searching for Kagome with Kaede and Grace.
"Kagome! Kagome!" Kaede called out.
"Where can she be? She should know not to wonder off in a strange place." Grace said worriedly.
"We looked everywhere but she's not here." Villager said.
"Could it be that she's gone off on her own? We spoke of those who seek the Sacred Jewel, yet we spoke not nearly enough..." Kaede said.
"I will go look for her..." Grace said.
"Wait Child..." Kaede said as she stops Grace by touching her arm...and giving her a Bow and some arrows. "You are going to need these...embrace the Hidden Power from within you."
"Okay." Grace nodded as she runs through the field towards the Forest angry and worry about Kagome. "Kagome, you are an idiot...going off on your own in a world that you know nothing about." She came upon the forest seeing there was no sign of Kagome but there looked like there was a struggle which means she has been taken...she hears something land behind her, and she notches her bow pointing it at Inuyasha who was stunned at her move which the Arrow was pointing at his throat. "Kagome! Are you alright?" She walked inside.
"Yeah, thanks Grace." Kagome said.
"Never mind that. Is the Jewel safe?" Inuyasha asked.
"Jewel?" Kagome asked, and Grace's eyes widened.
"Oh, tell me you did not just say that!" Inuyasha said angrily.
"Where is it?" Grace asked.
"Well…" Kagome began, but then they heard a shuffling and Grace turned to see a huge man stand up in front of them. His face was dull and brutish, and he stood eight feet tall, and when he did the scent of rotten meat billowed towards them.
"What is that smell?!" Inuyasha exclaimed. A strap of the guy's armor broke off, revealing a hole right where his heart should be. A trio of red eyes shined inside, and the head of a crow darted out.
"Ewe! Disgusting!" Grace said in disgust, and Inuyasha smiled grimly.
"How much you want to bet that thing ate his living heart out and made itself a bloody nest?" Inuyasha asked.
"I knew there was something wrong. That bird made him a puppet." Kagome said.
"Carrion Crows don't fight on their own when there're dead bodies around. They're not so tough…" Inuyasha said, before jumping forward and plunging his hand in the hole. "But they're hella nasty!" The crow darted back and out of the other side of the body, which fell to the ground and turned into a pile of bones. The Crow flew out the window and Inuyasha made no move to go after it.
"Aren't you going to kill it?" Grace asked and Inuyasha scoffed.
"Sorry if you haven't noticed, but this world's full of demons. I can't waste my time going after all of them." Inuyasha said. Kagome looked like she was about to protest, but he had already walked towards the window. He climbed up and looked out, and we did the same. "In the meantime, where did you put the Jewel- Ah!" Inuyasha exclaimed. I gasped too; the Crow had the jewel in its beak! "That stupid crow is making off with the Jewel!" He then turned to Kagome. "What's wrong with you!?"
"What do you mean what's wrong with-!" Kagome started to retort but Grace interrupted her.
"Enough fighting! After it!" Grace called.
"I know that!" Inuyasha said angrily and ran back out the hole he made after grabbing Grace and Kagome's hands. He blushed a little when held Grace's hand but shook it off. But he stopped for some reason and made Kagome and Grace bumped into his back.
"Hey!" Kagome said. But then she and Grace saw what Inuyasha was looking at. It was a bow and few arrows on a horse. "
"Oh, no you don't!" Inuyasha said. Once they were set, he leaped high enough into the air that he was actually gliding. "What are you waiting for? Hurry up and shoot it!" He told Kagome.
"Shoot? You're kidding, right? I've never used a bow in my life!" Kagome complained.
"The Crow lives by eating human flesh. If you think that's bad, let it swallows the jewel." Inuyasha said. As if it heard him, the Crow did just that.
"Ah! It swallows it!" Grace said.
"Fine! I'll try!" Kagome said.
"Thank you!" Inuyasha said.
'When she takes out the crow, it's her turn.' Inuyasha thought, smirking to himself. Grace then frowned at him and smacked him in the head.
"Ow!" Inuyasha said. Despite that she pulled the arrow back, and I watched her make a mental prayer before she fired. The air sailed straight and true... for two seconds. Then it fell back and spun to the ground. Inuyasha was so shocked that he fell back onto the ground.
"I thought you said that she was a master!" Kagome said.
"She was! It's you that's the klutz!" he replied.
"Enough already!" Grace yelled at them. They both looked at her in surprise. "We have to get that thing before it kills someone. Come on!" They looked at each other, before Inuyasha jumped back into the air. The Crow was growing in size thanks to the Jewel's power.
"There. Now it should be simple. Hit it!" Inuyasha ordered. Kagome aimed and fired... and she still failed to hit it. Inuyasha gritted his teeth in frustration and jumped down, letting Kagome off.
"Ow!" Kagome said, and Inuyasha turned to look at her with Grace still on his back.
"I don't care what the old lady says. You are not Kikyo, you got that? I'm so out of here and I'm bringing Grace with me!" Inuyasha declared, before jumping off with Grace still on his back. Grace sighed, shaking her head as she and Inuyasha followed the Crow. It was heading towards the village when she got an idea. Grace lifted her hand up and it glowed in a magic aura. She pulled her arm back and fired the energy ball at the crow. It hit the Crow and the energy ball exploded upon impact. It screeched in pain, but it kept flying towards the village, and suddenly it dived down and caught a little boy in its talons.
"Mother!" The boy called, and Grace gasped.
"AAH! Koichi!" Koichi's mother screamed.
"Hunting for your next meal already, huh? You're not getting away!" Inuyasha said. He flew forward and used Iron Reaver Soul Stealer, slashes the crow into pieces and the pieces fall into the river. The boy that was kidnapped by the crow also falls into the river.
"Help!" Koichi screamed.
"Where'd it go? Where's the Jewel?" Inuyasha questioned after he jumps on a rock. The River is pushing the boy downstream.
"Help! help me!" The boy, Koichi, screamed. Grace sees the boy and pulls off her shoes and she dives into the river and swims towards the boy freestyle.
"Hang on, little boy!" Grace called out to him, swimming towards him. The villagers watch Grace swim towards the boy.
"How can she do that?" Villager 1 asked.
"She's fast." Villager 2 said.
"She's an Imp I tell ya. An imp! She's not a human at all." Villager 3 said. Grace reaches the boy and backstrokes back to the bank with him.
Sakura: ''Hang on I've got you.
"He's on its back now! I don't believe it. What a day! What a girl! What an Imp!" Villager 3 said. Kagome was standing among the crowd.
"And they say teenage girls get excited..." Kagome commented as Inuyasha jumps onto the other side of the bank.
"Save the Jewel, Stupid! The Jewel!" Inuyasha yelled. Grace gives the child to his mother.
"My baby." The mother cried in relief.
"I was so scared." The boy said. Grace turns to Inuyasha and glared at him. Inuyasha looks very shocked and speechless. He mumbles flustery.
"Sorry." Inuyasha mumbled as Grace smiled at him.
"Thanks for saving me." The boy smiled at Grace.
"Thank you. Thank you. Thank you." The mother thanked Grace repeatedly. In the water the Crow begin to come back together as it flies out of the water...Inuyasha seeing this looks over at the crowd towards Grace and Kagome.
"Hey it's getting away..." Inuyasha said.
"Well, it looks like you are off the hook for now pal..." Kagome said when the boy's shirt begins to get pulled on as the claw from the crow tries to take off with him.
"Ahh..." The boy said.
"Hey, I know..." Kagome said before she walks over to Grace. "Can I borrow your bow, Grace?"
"Um sure but it's too far. Are you sure that you can do it?" Grace asked as she handed the bow to Kagome.
"Yeah, I got this." Kagome nodded as she takes the bow and ties the crow's foot to the arrow. "I can do this..."
"I get it. She's shooting the foot." Inuyasha said. Kagome aimed the arrow with the foot attached to it at the crow.
"The foot can't help but be drawn back to its body so it will be a guarantee that it will hit..." Kagome said and she shoots the arrow and it flies right up to the crow and it hits him in the stomach causing the Crow to break in pieces and the Jewel is shown with an Arrow pieced in the middle causing it to crack...a bright light came from inside it as it bursts apart. Grace shields her eyes from the bright light.
"That light...where is it coming from?" Grace questioned. Then the Light begins to fly all over the place across the sky like shooting starts as the villagers look on in shock.
"Lady Kaede, those lights..." The villager trailed off.
"Oh Ah...and I don't like the looks of it." Kaede said.
Grace, Inuyasha and Kagome go over to the middle of the woods where Kagome said the Jewel fell over there.
"Are you sure it fell around here?" Inuyasha asked.
"Yeah, kind of but I am kind of worried about that light..." Kagome said. Then suddenly, out of the sky came the head of the crow and it flies towards Grace, causing her to gasp and scream...Inuyasha steps in front of her and slashes it to pieces.
"Thank you." Grace said.
"Don't mention it." Inuyasha said when a pink shard came out of its head. Grace shocked walks over to it and picks it up.
"I hope that is not what I think it is." Grace said.
"And what do you think it is..." Inuyasha said as Grace gulped and looked at him grimly.
"It looks like a Shard from the Jewel." Grace said as Inuyasha looked shock and angry.
"Wh... What did you SAAAAYYYY?!" Inuyasha yelled.
