Eternal Love chapter 2
Hi guys, I just realized how much my writing has improved in a a year time span, compared to how my last chapter looked until now. Its almost like a night and day difference. Even the lemon scenes I made in the past were really short much to my surprise. I had forgotten how short they were. Anyway I am going to again try and update at least one of these once a week. Though we will see how well this actually goes *chuckled nervously* though as you guys know by now. My keeping up with promises like that tends to be a bit lacking to say the least. Naruto sat down cross legged in his living room, and opened the scroll. What's so important about this mission that we need to have my team and team gai?' Naruto thought to himself as he read the rest of the scroll, not noticing Ayame standing over his shoulder.
Ayame cocked her head to the side, and recognized the name of the town they're headed too. "Isn't that the war wracked town just outside of sunagakure?" She asked curiously to her blonde husband.
Naruto jumped to the roof and dug his claw fingernail things into it. "God Ayame-Chan you scared me!" Naruto said as he unhooked, and landed face first onto his floor. "Ooof! Ite... Ite... Ite..." he exclaimed as he rubbed his sore face that happened from falling.
Ayame snickered, and tried to hold back the laughter. "No wonder they call you the #1 knuckle head ninja!" she exclaimed before bursting into side splitting laughter. Though Naruto couldn't hate her.
The laughter was infectious, and soon he was rolling with the raven haired woman in laughter. "I guess I earned that tittle today." He said between fits of laughter.
Hinata and Sakura walked in on the two idiots on the floor. "What happened here?" she asked with a snicker or two herself.
Hinata cocked her head to the side as to why her love, and her house mate where on the floor giggling. "What's up with you guys?" She asked, a bit confused as to why the spontaneous giggle fit happened.
Naruto and Ayame recovered, and sat back up, assuming a cross-legged position facing them. "Oh nothing, Naruto just being as dumb as ever." Ayame said wiping away a tear caused by the giggles.
Naruto sweat dropped and turned back to the scroll. "Seems is an B to A ranking escort mission through the land of flowers. A newly made town just before we get to sunagakure." Naruto stated simply, changing the subject, and looked at Sakura.
Sakura picked up the scroll and read it for herself, nodding in affirmation of his statement. "Thats correct, but why is it a possibly a ranking mission?" She asked herself, re-reading the scroll to see if she had missed anything on the initial reading of it.
Kakashi chimed in this time, after appearing in a whirl of leaves and dust. "Because the steel brothers have been sighted there, so it requires that rank." Everyone jumped, and drew a weapon of some sort.
Naruto stood up and punched Kakashi in his shoulder. "We could have killed you thinking you came to attack us!" Naruto exclaimed in annoyance. "Thats the second heart attack you guys have nearly give me today dattebayo!?" Naruto stated in annoyance.
Kakashi sweat dropped and rubbed his shoulder a bit. "If I was going to kill or hurt you, why would I give myself away?" Kakashi stated plainly, and picked up the scroll. Placing it in a pocket on his flak jacket.
Sakura nodded at his statement "That is true, but there's a door for a reason Kakashi-sensei." she simply stated to the older jonin among them.
Ayame and Hinata nodded at her logic. "Because an open window is so much more convenient." Kakashi said bluntly, causing them to sweat drop at this.
"Well when do we go?" He asked his gravity defying haired sensei, who thought for a moment or two.
Kakashi eye smiled "We leave as soon as we get introduced to our package by Tsunade." he said, then disappeared in a whirl of leaves and more dust.
Naruto packed his travel back, as did Sakura. "Its been a while since we have both been on a mission together hasn't it Sakura?" Naruto asked, breaking the silence as they both finished packing.
Sakura looked at herself, then realized she was in her civilian clothing currently. "Yeah it has, this will probably be alot of fun for us, dattebane?" She face palmed for letting Naruto rub off on her.
Naruto smiled widely at this, and slung his pack over his shoulder, adjusting to the extra weight. "Yeah, and seems I've rubbed off on you." Naruto said with a chuckle, and sat on the bed, waiting on Sakura.
Sakura nodded, then started taking off her shirt right then and there. "Yeah... Though I didn't expect to pick up your verbal quirk, though you are my husband after all, I was bound to pick up a few things." She faced Naruto, and noted him holding his nose. Cocking her head to the side in confusion a bit.
Naruto currently had a nosebleed cause of the sight before him. "You're my wife, but still not used to that just yet..." He trailed, holding his head back, trying to stop the nosebleed he currently had.
Sakura chuckled and looked in a mirror nearby. "I do have a nice body don't I?" she asked then took her pants off, while Naruto was not paying attention.
Naruto nodded, but not looking that way while she changed as to not make his nosebleed worse. "Yeah you do, I hate to see you go, but love to watch you leave." Naruto said with a bit of a perverted chuckle.
Sakura blushed a little bit as she wiggled a little bit to get her decently plum behind into her shorts. Though instead of the kill me pink dress she normally wears. She donned a red one in its place with a satisfied sigh after a quick look in the mirror.
Naruto picked up his jacket off of the chair before Sakura smacked his hand. "What was that for Sakura?" he asked, and she held out a new outfit for him, a red shirt, with black shorts to him.
Sakura held it up to his chest and nodded confidently to herself. "its going to fit, but you're not wearing that kill me orange outfit." she stated as a matter of factly.
Naruto sweat dropped then donned the ordered clothing. "You're going to be the death of me woman." He stated as he put on his black shinobi sandals, then put his weapon pouches on.
Sakura gave him a once over, and smiled happily to herself. "Thats much better, now you ready?" Sakura asked, and slung her pack over her shoulders too.
Naruto nodded, then the door opened, revealing Hinata and Ayame. "You better not be leaving without saying see ya later!" Ayame exclaimed lightly, then glomped Naruto, unintentionally burying his head in her nice 36 c breasts, her cleavage moreover.
Naruto chuckled and hugged the woman before him, and nuzzled her lightly. "I wouldn't think of it" Then he hugged Hinata pretty tightly. "I love you too both, don't get into too much trouble while I'm gone, ok?"
Hinata and Ayame nodded, and Ayame donned an innocent look. "I won't get into trouble after you leave, I promise." Ayame said truthfully.
Naruto sweat dropped but turned towards the open window when he was grabbed by his pack. "Wha-?" is all he could get out as he was suddenly in a lip lock.
Ayame blushed a bit, then looked away shyly. "Thats for good luck, you better come back, got it!" she stated rhetorically, leaving no room for discussion.
Hinata of all people had mustered up the courage to stand on her toes, and kiss Naruto. Trying to keep consciousness from the embarrassment. "Y-you told us to not get into trouble after you left, not before." She said, and with a light smile on her face.
Sakuras eyebrow twitched, but she realized that they didn't mean anything bad. So she let it go, and grabbed him by the collar. "Time to go lover boy." She said slightly annoyed at the blonde nin she loved.
Naruto nodded and joined Sakura in hopping towards the Hokage tower. "What wrongs Hime-Chan?" he asked, giving Sakura a nickname.
Sakura blushed a bit at her new nickname. "nothing Naruto" She said, and remained silent.
Naruto sweat dropped, then picked up the pace as Sakura did. "Something's wrong, I'll be right back." Naruto said, then hopped down to the street level.
Sakura gained a bit of a tick mark, then sighed and kept on going. 'What is that knucklehead up to now' she thought to herself as she landed on the open window of the hokage building where Tsunade is.

Naruto walked into the Yamanaka flower shop, and looked up to see Ino. 'Oh no... I was hoping her mom or dad was running shop today...' he thought to himself. "Hey Ino-Chan! I have a favor to ask of you!" He called out to the buxom blonde in question behind the counter.
Ino looked up from her reading, and gave a light smile. "What's up Naruto? What brings you to my flower shop?" She asked with a raised eyebrow.
Naruto chuckled sheepishly, rubbing the back of his head. "I seemed to have upset Sakura, can you arrange me an apology bouquet?" Naruto asked, not really knowing how to go about this.
Ino nodded, then came from around the counter, looking at her flowers. "Yeah I can help with that, how upset did you make her?" She asked curiously as she picked up some lilacs, Sakuras favorite.
Naruto thought about this for a second, and came up with a blank. "Well... Ayame, and Hinata-Chan kissed me, and she sorta stormed off..." He trailed a bit "Does that give you something to go on?" He asked, and Ino nodded.
"You know Sakura can be really jealous right?" Ino asked, and Naruto sweat dropped at this.
Naruto nodded, and rubbed the back of his head a bit. "Yeah, but it happened out of the blue, I couldn't do anything about it." He stated truthfully to Ino.
Ino nodded, then picked up some white and red roses, adding them to the bouquet. "Well hopefully we can fix that with this lovely bouquet." She said, sprinkling sakura blossoms around the bouquet. "A personal touch on this unique bouquet." Ino said, nodding with pride in herself for her work.
"what's the damage Ino?" He asked, pulling out Gama-chan, and opening up his wallet.
Ino took a thoughtful pose for a moment "Don't worry about it, its on the house this time. Don't piss off Sakura-chan, I'll kick your ass next time." She stated, with a don't test me tone to her voice.
Naruto nodded and hugged her, before leaving, hopping back on the rooftops. "Thank you Ino-chan." He said, then started heading to the hokage tower.

Back with Sakura, Tsunade, and Kakashi

Tsunade gained a tick mark on her forehead at the idiots absence. "Where is that little knucklehead?" She asked, then took a swig of her Sake to try and calm down at the kids lateness.
When she put the bottle down, Naruto was at the window, his hitai-ate covering his eye. With a black mask covering the lower part of his face. "Yo!" he said with an eye smile, like the silver haired shinobi. "Sorry I'm late, but I got lost on the road to life." Naruto raised an eyebrow to a currently walking over.
Sakura cocked back a baka punch, aimed right for Naruto's forehead, then let it go. "Baka!" She exclaimed, stopping short of his face in surprise.
Naruto had both of his eyes closed, and peeked out of one eye. "Am I dead yet?" Naruto asked, looking around the room, sighing in relief that he isn't dead.
Sakura grabbed the bouquet in front of her, and sniffed it. "How did you know these where my favorite?" Sakura asked, and lost all her annoyance at her blonde husband that annoyed her.
Tsunade sweat dropped at her fellow blonde antics. "Well I'll forgive you this time for being late. Don't let it happen again!" Tsunade exclaimed in a follow or die tone.
Kakashi coughed, bringing attention to him. "So when do we meet our package?" Kakashi asked, and the door opened behind them.
"Right now" a feminine voice that sounded like a predatory cat came from behind them. "My names Sandra Hohenheim." She stated plainly, carrying herself with military bearing of a ranking officer.
Naruto looked at the woman in front of him now. "You seem like you can handle yourself in a fight. Why do you need our help?" Naruto asked curiously.
The woman laid her cool, relaxed, but vibrant green eyes on Naruto. "Because the type of Military I'm in, doesn't do the ninjutsu you guys can, and the enemies in my town currently, are ninjas. So we need help with them." She stated like it was well known.
Tsunade cleared her throat, and all attention was on her. "The land of blossoms is a para-military Samurai power , trying to start up and take back their land. Though ninjas from the iwagakure village have taken over." Tsunade stated simply, but there was more.
Kakashi thought about this for a second, and realized something. "Aren't we at peace with iwagakure at the moment?" Kakashi asked what everyone was thinking.
Tsunade nodded and laid her head on her interlaced fingers. "Yes, that's why this mission is a b to a ranked mission, it requires stealth, and full discretion." Tsunade said, motioning to Sandra to elaborate.
Sandra smiled a little, and began elaborating. "I just need to be taken to my home base, and a little help weakening the forces there. You will be well compensated for your help." She said rather curtly, giving the group the feeling that they were being short changed.
Naruto was the first to speak up about the feeling that all of them were currently feeling right now. "There is something more to this mission isn't?" Naruto asked, a little annoyed that he wasn't getting the full truth out of their current charge was letting on.
Sandra sweatdropped at the analytical eyes that were now on her, she could tell that the blonde kid she originally thought was only the muscle actually had a pretty good brain. "About that... Its actually going to be an a ranked mission, but I only had enough on me to pay for a b rank mission, though that's the reason I said I'd compensate you guys..." She trailed as the room stayed as silent as the grave, waiting for her to elaborate. "Ok ok! A recently minted missing-nin was recently spotted in our little village..." She trailed again, noticing the blonde kage glaring at her, raising her hands to placate the blonde bombshell.
Naruto relaxed a little bit and ran a hand through his unruly mop of red hair, but sighed a bit. "Which missing-nin(s)?" He asked rather bluntly, this woman was trying his patience, a charge had done this to them in the land of the waves, and since then. He swore it would annoy him, and he was right about this, but at least this time they'd be payed full after completion.
Sandra swallowed at the amount of killing intent that was coming towards her in the room right now. "Shun Gushiken, the Genjutsu mistress of Kirigakure, she has a 500,000r bounty on her head, but our forces cannot counter her. As we are already spread so thin fighting the insurgents that are trying to usurp the current regime trying to set our country up." Sandra gulped at the predicament she had found herself in. "You could get a lot of money from helping us just from her bounty, and your stay while you're in my town will be rent free." She said, and it seemed to have placated the group of deadly ninja around her right now.
Tsunade visibly relaxed at the admittance of her nins charge, well at least they were not going into this blind, and knew they were going to be compensated for going into a lot of danger. "Alright, old Sarutobi told me about something that happened like this is Mizu, well at least this time you hadn't been blindsided by this." She said, but there was still an unanswered question lingering in the air that she hadn't given voice to yet that they were thinking. "Im in a good mood, so even though you lied to us, but came forward with the information needed. As long as my ninja are willing to keep on, I am fine with it. Do you guys want to continue the mission?" She asked lightly, giving voice to the question everyone had on their mind.
Naruto rubbed the back of his head, and chuckled lightly. "This is troublesome..." He trailed, causing two naras to sneeze at his comment, and causing Sandra's heart to sink a bit. "But, it is against my nindo to abandon someone in their time of need, especially with someone so cute, I want to help..." He trailed, and everyone else nodded, smiles crossing their faces.
Kakashi rubbed the back of his head, and chuckled sheepishly, and the air lightened a significant amount from its earlier heaviness. "I agree with Naruto, we can't just abandon you after we already promised that we'd help you. As a good friend of mine once said, those who abandon their mission are trash, but those who abandon their friends... Are less than trash..." he trailed, letting everyone ponder the hidden meaning behind the cryptically saying.
Sakura smiled, and threw her arm over Naruto's shoulder. "I'm going to kill you when we get home, but it seems those three years with Jiraiya-sensei did you some good. You have finally grown up." Sakura stated simply, but her voice promised pain for flirting with the currently still blushing rather red Sandra from Naruto's earlier comment about her being cute.
Naruto sweatdropped and chuckled sheepishly at his wife's current killing demeanor. "Everyone ready to go?" Naruto asked, clearing up the awkward air that hung like a musky, earthy smell that needed to leave the room in a hasty manner by all means.
