Dragon Ball NA
Last time on NA: After winning the tournament, Rugai and the others returned to Mt. Paos for a much needed rest. Meanwhile, Jeena and Kanashimi set foot on the Planet Saturn for a quick resupply. However, a small group of thugs tried to prevent our female Saiyan warriors from leaving with their stuff. Back on Earth, Rugai and the others started training for the possible threat they sensed. Three days have passed...
Deena's flight training wentw ell, and did a quick trip to Snowvilla for an update after the elder Ryu's murder. When she returned, the rest of the fighters had fully prepared and was only resting in a campfire Bull made. "What no smores?" Sanfan said as she kept her hold on Tenchu's arm.
"We're going through a battle strategy in case they're hostile. Because Rugai has his Super Saiyan transformation, he'll take on the strongest one." He said as he saw Deena's landing near the fire.
"What if there's only one person in it and needs medical attention?" Deena sat between Bull and Evelyn.
"Thats when you administer first aid on him, girlie." Bull still haven't called anyone by their names. Kept irritating Deena by the name girlie.
"Felt like there's two heading our way." Ferno chimed in as he stared intently at the campfire. Rugai looked up and noticed what looked like a slow moving star headed towards the planet.
"We better get some sleep soon. I have a feeling that we will be busy." Everyone agreed, Evelyn and Bull went inside the house, while everyone else slept outside in random spots. Tenchu and Sanfan slept by the waterfall, while Deena and Rugai slept by the fire. Ferno kept watch above Evelyn's house.
The next day, everyone woke up to the sound of the space ship roared loudly above them. As Rugai stood near the entrance, everyone else stood behind him. "They're here." Ferno and Tenchu nodded. Almost everyone floated into the air, while Bull released his car from Qube mode. Sanfan, Evelyn and Bull entered. As Bull started it up, Rugai and the others started flying towards the direction of the space ship, Bull followed suit. An hour later, everyone landed just before the clearing. "You sure the plan will work?" Rugai asked Tenchu. "I mean, we've barely trained, and we don't know what kind of people are in there."
"Bro, you're a Super Saiyan. You have a leg up on us in terms of power. We'll have to push ourselves harder than you, even Ferno has to take them at his 100%." Ferno only nodded. soon, everyone of them stood in front of the tree line looking at the space ship. Smoke still enveloping the landing gears, and randomly steam expelled from the vents. The door opened slowly, Rugai and the others readied themselves just in case of a surprise attack. The door finally reached the ground. Rugai changed stance a bit to a defensive/attack mode. The first person to emerge, was Jeena. Rugai lowered his guard and his eyes went wide with the reunion of his friend. "J...Jeena!?" Jeena looked at Rugai, face went nearly pale, ran up to him and hugged him tightly.
"Oh Rugai, I missed you so much." Jeena kept hugging him, while Deena was giving him the death stare.
"Um...as tearful as this is, you might want to let go." Jeena looked at the girl standing next to him.
"So you are the girl who captured Ru's heart?" Jeena gave her the once over, then looked at Rugai. "Well I approve." She took a couple steps back then held her arms in the sky. "I Princess Jeena, princess of the Saiyan race. Have dubbed thee Rugai, son of Dugai, Head of the Crescent Moon Clan under the house of Flames. And..." She pointed at Deena.
"I...I'm Deena." Jeena took a moment after hearing the name.
"Deena, Terran daughter of a Terran miner in a far away land. Warrior and house maiden." Jeena lowered her arms, then placed them on both of their hands. "Rugai, I also name thee the new Head of the house of Flames. The highest honor a Saiyan can recieve." Before she can walk away, Kanashimi watched the Saiyan style wedding happening before her.
"So the weakling got married. What I don't get, is why you're named the Head of the house of Flames!? YOU DON'T DESERVE THAT HONOR! YOU STILL CLING ON TO THE FAIRY TALES OF OUR PEOPLE WANTING TO REACH THE LEVEL OF SUPER SAIYAN!" Kanashimi exited and grabbed Rugai's battle armor. "No Saiyan has ever reached that level and never will!" Rugai smacked her arm away, and gently pushed her away. When she steadied herself, she was standing back at the bottom of the space ship. "How the hell...?" Rugai cracked his neck a couple times. "You bast... Where's your tail? HOW CAN A WEAKLING LIKE YOU LOSE YOUR TAIL!?" Sanfan stepped forward.
"I accidently pulled it off." Sanfan held her head down, while Jeena hugged Sanfan and telling her its ok.
"The weakling got weaker, eh? I won't have to use half my strength to take him out. Kanashimi took a few steps forward, pointed her open hand at Rugai, then fired an energy blast. Everyone else ran in various directions, while Rugai stood there. As the energy blast hit him, Rugai was engulfed in a combination of dust and dirt. After the smoke settled, Rugai was still standing, unharmed. "What the hell?" Kanashimi was stunned.
"Wow, I thought you were strong, but you really held back." Rugai taunted her and cracked a half smile.
"I AM stronger, you weakling! I'LL SHOW YOU HOW STRONG I AM!" Kanashimi started powering up. Her anger towards Rugai quickly put her att her full power. "TAUNT AT ME AGAIN AFTER ANOTHER BLAST FROM ME!" She pointed her hand at Rugai again, and fired her strongest, non-devistating blast at him. Rugai just stood there, and took the attack. Moments later, the smoke settled again, and still took zero damage. "YOU BASTARD! I'VE KILLED MY ENEMIES WITHOUT BATTING AN EYELASH!"
Rugai taunted her again. "If this is your full power, then I guess I'm a lot stronger than you." Rugai opened his stance, barely curled his hands up, then powered up. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA..." The trees began to sway, small rocks floated above the ground between them. Rugai's hair started to turn golden-yellow, and eyes jade-green. His body buffed up a bit. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA..." And with one last push, Rugai transformed into his Super Saiyan form. Rugai lowered his hands to his side, and closed his stantce a bit. Both Jeena and Kanashimi's eyes bulged out of their sockets at looking at the very first Super Saiyan that's in front of them.
"Holy crap! Rugai when did you...?" Rugai just stared at Kanashimi. She hit herself back into reality.
"So you changed the color of your hair, big deal. You're still the weakling that everyone pushed around!" Kanashimi charged at Rugai, and threw a punch. Rugai caught it with his hand and countered with a punch of his own. Kanashimi started to fall backwards after being hit in the face, but Rugai pulled her back up, and tossed her into the air.
"Aren't you going to follow up?" Ferno asked Rugai.
"Nah. I want her to figure it out that I have reached Super Saiyan. If she keeps denying that the stories are true, then I might knock her out." Deena clasped her hands together and started praying. Kanashimi regained her senses and stopped high in the air.
"Damn that weakling. How dare he do this too me. I'm the strongest Saiyan in the universe. I will lead the surviving Saiyans into the new age." She finally snapped. "I WILL NOT BE DEFEATED BY A WEAKLING LIKE YOU!" She threw up a dark purple aura around her, and rushed at Rugai again. Her hands started to glow bright purple, and put the thumbs together. "HAVOK BLAST!" A pair of energy wings flew from her hands, and honed in on Rugai.
Rugai's hands glowed golden-yellow, then extended them forward. "SHOTGUN DOUBLE BARREL!" Millions of small energy balls flew towards Kanashimi, taking out her Havok Blast, then hitting her. She fell onto the ground, trying to catch her breath and holding her left arm. "Do you yield?" Rugai asked while standing on her left side.
"Screw... you... weakling." Kanashimi managed to get out before passing out. Rugai reverted back to his normal mode, picked up Kanashimi and walked towards his friends.
"Rugai, what do you want to do with her?" Jeena asked while holding Bull's muscular arm extra tightly.
"You should just kill her and get it over with boy. No sense to keep her alive and having her bite you in the ass. Metaphorically speaking of course." Deena looked up and and smiled at Rugai.
"I'm letting her live. She is one of the last survivors of the Saiyan Race. I cannot kill her. Jeena closed her eyes and smiled, then passed out while holding Bull's arm. He then picked her up and gently put her in the back seat of his car.
"Boy, you have some nerve doing that." Bull then hovered over Rugai, then looked at Kanashimi. "Although, this does give me and Darryn the chance to study the physiology of the Saiyans a bit more." With his mind now working overtime, Bull then got into the driver's seat, while Evelyn and Sanfan took their respected seats. "You want a ride, princess?" Bull looked at Jeena.
"No thanks. But I do appreciate the offer though." Bull then nodded, reved up the car, and took off back to Evelyn's place. The rest of the gang stayed behind and had a discussion with the Saiyan Princess.
"It's good to see that you're alive." Rugai smiled a bit at her. "Lyc still being an self obsessed, arrogant guy?" She lowered her head and nodded.
"She has a brother?" Tenchu said with much shock in his question. Ferno and Deena just stood there.
"My brother Lyc, believed that since he's the prince of all Saiyans, everyone should bow down to him." Jeena began to cry. "He's ruining the pride of the Saiyans. He's lost all touch with the ways of our people." She then fell to her knees and cried even louder. "Rugai, please help me. Stop my brother from his evil ways." Everyone looked at Rugai, he took a knee, and held Jeena's head up.
"All you had to do was ask. I'll stop your brother, and make him see the error of his ways." Jeena's eyes filled with hope, she then got up and hugged Rugai tightly.
"How're we supposed to get to your brother? Your ship looks like it'll never survive another trip across the stars." Ferno then placed his hand on the ship, then most of it fell apart. "Umm... Sorry." Jeena wiped the tears from her eyes, then looked at Ferno.
"It's ok sir Kamekian. I knew it wasn't going to hold up for long." Ferno only heard that one word: Kamekian. It swirled all around in his mind.
"Ka...mekian...?" Ferno looked at Jeena with that confused expression.
"That's your race. Cousins to our peacefull allies the Namekians, the Kamekians believed that technology was the key to survive after a heinous storm that nearly wiped out the planet's vegetations. The Namekians and Kamekians argued a long time, until finally, the Kamekians left the planet and started anew in another sector of the galaxy. Some still cling on to the ways of the Namekians, and some tried to combine the ways of the Namekians with the technological know how of the Kamekians, created their perfect fighter." Ferno let that sunk in, then looked upwards at the sky.
"At least we figured out what you are, Ferno." Tenchu said then looked at Jeena again. "So Tell us more about what's out there!" Jeena shook her head and took into the air. Rugai followed suit, then Ferno. Deena and Tenchu didn't like where this was going, but eventually they also took into the air.
Rugai pointed at the direction of Evelyn's house, and all our heroes headed there. "So Jeena, why did Lyc get worse!?" The flight to Evelyn's caused everyone to talk real loud to everyone. Jeena just lowered her eyes and kept on flying. We'll ask Bull to fix up your ship, and we will head to where your brother is and put a stop to him before he ends up destroying the universe!" Jeena looked up at Rugai and nodded.
"How long have you known Rugai, Princess!?" Deena flew closer to her. "I mean, you and my Ru do have a long history, right?"
"His father, Dugai and my father Harugo were the best of friends. Dugai would bring him to the palace for meetings or just to chat, while Rugai and myself would talk about anything from the simplest flowers, to what would happen if one of us become a Super Saiyan. Rugai has such a kind heart, everyone thought he was a weakling and was recieving special treatment because his father knew mine." Rugai turned around and chimed in.
"I didn't want to fight for no reason, and all the other kids would pick on me in hopes that I would unleash my fury on them. Besides, It wasn't until I landed on Earth that I decided to fight." Jeena and Rugai looked at each other, it was then that she finally saw that Rugai had definately reached Super Saiyan and became strong.
With a new goal for our heroes, they try and head into space. Can they fix the Saiyan Princess' ship in time for the journey? Find out next time on Dragon Ball NA
