Dragon Ball NA
Last time on NA: Our heroes faced a possible threat that might destroyed the Earth. Rugai reunited with his best friend from Planet Vegeta, Princess Jeena. Soon as they started catching up, he fought one of his peers Kanashimi. With a transformed Rugai, he defeated her with ease. Now they try and head into space to take on Prince Lyc. Several days passed...
Bull, Darryn and Jeena were busy fixing up her space ship. Deena and Evelyn was busy making meals for everyone, while Ferno and Rugai sat by Kanashimi's bed waiting for her to wake up. "I think you put her into a coma?" Ferno, said as he leaned back against the wall.
"I barely hit her in my Super mode. I wasn't even fighting her seriously." Rugai quickly defended himself. Ferno held up his hands to surrender the argument.
"I should try and kill you for not fighting me seriously." Kanashimi kept her eyes close as she said those words. "However, I still don't believe in the Super Saiyan stories. But seeing you in THAT state, made my determination to achieve that level and surpass you." Rugai smiled a bit, then got up and headed towards the door.
"You are welcome to try, but I'll still beat you." As he left, Kanashimi got up, punched Ferno, then exited as well.
Bull and Darryl worked out the schematics of Jeena's space ship. Every attempt to try and figure it out, the program either freezes or crashes. "This is proving to be problematic. The race that made it, were either cautious or very skilled." Darryn then tried to attack each layer of programming carefully.
"We may have to head to my home lab for better processing power." Darryn's screen created a face that looked confused.
"Why is that, Bull? Don't we have everything we need in your mobile lab?" Bull secured everything and returned his lab in Qube format.
"Better stuff to work with." He turned to the others. "I'm heading back to Central City with the princess' ship. Tag along real quick or be left here for the hungry wolves." He smirked after he turned around and released his car. Rugai stood very close to Bull with the biggest eyes ever. "Oh crap, you just want to eat dad's cooking. I see it in your eyes, boy." Deena and the others also gathered around him. " Fine, we'll all go back to my place. I hate all of you right now." Bull's right eye twitched with some anger in it. He placed Darryl on the dash, Evelyn took the front passenger seat, while Sanfan and Tenchu took the back seats. Rugai and the rest of his friends floated into the air.
"First one back to Qube Corp. wins?" Rugai smiled a bit, while Bull reved up his engine a couple times, Evelyn and the other two quickly fastened their seatbelts as for the race was about to begin. Rugai transformed into a Super Saiyan and quickly flew towards Central City while Bull followed suit. Deena, Ferno and Kanashimi just sighed and tried to catch up with them.
Several hours later...
Both Rugai and Bull arrived at Qube Corp. at the same time. Rugai reverted to his normal state, Bull hopped out of his car and walked towards him. Sanfan, Evelyn and Tenchu slowly ungripped themselves from Bull's mad driving. "Boy, I thought you had me back at that tower looking thing." Rugai smiled.
"I thought you had me at the land of pyramids." Both of them clasped hands together, then walked into Bull's place.
"That Bull guy is psychotic. Did he forget that we were in the vehicle?" Sanfan completely released her grip on Tenchu's arm and the seat, unbuckled herself, then got out and kissed the ground.
"He knew we were in with him, and chose to ignore us. Sadly that's his attitude." Tenchu slowly walked with Sanfan into the Qube Corp. building and headed towards the medical section. Evelyn followed Rugai into the kitchen, where he's already 5 plates in.
"You don't waste any time, do you?" Evelyn sat down next to him. Rugai looked up, tried to talk to her with food in his mouth. "Swallow... now speak, kid."
"I said I can't help it, for some reason I burn more calories than anyone else on this planet. Well... I'm not so sure about Jeena and Kanashimi. Not to mention that in my super mode, I burn energy even faster." Rugai went back to eating, while Evelyn leaned back and watched him consume the food.
Deena and the rest of the gang finally arrived at the front door of Qube Corp. "Why did that idiot have to rush ahead of us. I swear one of these days, I'll kill him." Kanashimi stormed into the building and headed towards the indoor zoo. Ferno cracked his neck, then went to the top of the building and meditated there. Deena and Jeena spent some quaility time by exploring the city.
An hour passed...
Deena and Jeena passed a few houses and a hotdog vendor. "Rugai was so kind and never raised his fist at anyone."
"Rugai was a pacifist on your home planet?" They stopped at the clothing store and and admired the dresses.
"He was to a degree. Which is why he had such self control with his anger. All I could do is just sat at the sidelines and do nothing." Jeena lowered her head as they continued walking by the streets in Central City.
"He still kept that anger under wraps. Well, until he saw innocent people getting hurt and that blood of his boiled. Who knew that deep down in him, has this enormous power waiting to be unleashed." They stopped by an ice cream cart, Deena paid for two cones, then handed one to Jeena.
"Rugai, he's a great man, much like his father Dugai. Which is why Ru became a very good friend with me. Weird thing is the Saiyan women can't choose their life partners, and Saiyan men claim who they think could bare the most children. But because I'm a princess, the only one who is is eligible is my brother Lyc." Jeena shuttered with disgust at the thought of her marrying her brother.
Back at Qube Corp...
Bull revealed a new cybernetic body for Darryn. Darryn's digitial facial expression he created, was shocked and happy at the same time. "When did you have time to create this artificial huminoid prosthetic body?" Bull just smiled.
"My Mobile lab is linked to this lab via special satellite I personally created whenever I want to work well... anywhere in the world. I sent the data for your new body whenever I 'purposely' set your face down on the table." Bull hooked up two cables from the tablet to the back of the robotic body. "You'll probably get used to your new body in no time. And you can use any scrap of metal I don't use to upgrade yourself to help the boy. Got it?" Darryn's digital face nodded in agreement. Then within one blink of an eye, the entire conciousness of Darryn from the tablet, was inside his new body.
"Feels... weird... but like it very much. You have my eternal thanks Mr. Bull." Bull got a bit irritated at the formal name calling.
"Just drop the Mr., ok? Bull is sufficient enough." Darryn wasted no time, and got used to his new body and helped Bull with the analysist of Jeena's space ship. "What's the power source of this thing? Any thoughts?" Bull looked at Darryn.
"Initial analysist indicated, trace amounts of fusion power, cold fusion and dark matter injectors. Assesment of the power source is highly advanced and extremely dangerous. Any crack during the 'burn phase' will result in a big enough explosion that will make the current black hole look like a dwarf star. However, I've determined a more sustainable power source that'll be perfect for long periods of traversing space. I've even designed blue prints in my old captivity that'll help you greatly." Bull picked up the tablet, and scrolled down a bit to see the designs. All he did was nod at it.
"Not bad, actually thats what we need for the ship I've designed. Princess' ship looked like it was on its last leg." Darryn nodded, and immediately went to gather the materials needed for the construction of the ship.
Rugai had finally finished eating his 200th plate of food, and woken up Evelyn who had her head on the table in her folded arms. "Master... I'm done now. We should get you into one of the guest beds Bull's dad made for us." Evelyn kept sleeping. Rugai picked her up and carried her.
"Here, let me help." Bull's dad tried to take Evelyn from Rugai's arms, but Rugai didn't want to hand her over. "Ok, then I'll show you where she'll be sleeping." Sol Guided Rugai to one of the bedrooms, after that, Rugai layed Evelyn gently on the bed. Deena and Jeena finally returned after a day of walking and window shopping.
"Wow! Rugai took on an entire army of cyborgs?" Jeena couldn't believe her ears.
"I couldn't believe it either, even after witnessing the base nearly destroyed by his own hands." Deena turned away, and looked at the ceiling. "Its almost as if some unknown force is helping him." Jeena grabbed Deena's waist, then held her tightly.
"Saiyan men get stronger after every fight, while the Saiyan women get stronger at half the pace. I'll admit, that Kanashimi did get insanely stronger after being in far more fights than I could imagine, but Rugai will get stronger than she will, no doubt." Jeena released her hold on Deena, then headed towards the elevator. Before she could enter, an explosion happened in Bull's lab. Shortly afterwards, Everyone except Evelyn and Bull's parents were standing in the wreckage.
"What the hell Darryn?! I thought you said it would stabilize upon its initial activation."
"Apologies, sir. I did not calculate the possibility of malfunctions immediately. However, I did calculate another one hundred possible containers to use as the ship's engine." Darryn then produced the schematics on Bull's tablet. As Bull went over to look, Rugai examined the destroyed engine.
"I blame myself for not taking extra precautions. The idea of space flight is new to me. Crap! Any of you Saiyans know about the workings of space travel?" All three Saiyans shook their heads no. Only Jeena spoke up.
"The planet not that far from here, they know... about..." She lowered her head. "Without a working ship, we can't get to them." Bull quickly grabbed her arms and stared into her eyes.
"Do they have any form of communications?" Jeena got scared a bit, then nodded her head. "Better than nothing. I can jerryrig up something to communticate with them, maybe get a couple of them to head here and help out." Bull quickly salvaged any working parts from the destroyed ship, while Darryn grabbed various items to transmit facial images and voice recognitioning. Within a mere minutes of testing, and tweaking, their very first long range communication device was up and operational.
"Ms. Jeena, do you know the frequency of that planet?" Jeena tried to remember, but couldn't help them. "Mr. Bull, I shall use whatever processing power I have to find this planet. It shouldn't take no more than a few minutes. However, If it should take longer, then I will not power down until I do." Bull got closer to him.
"Don't overheat yourself, do what you can, then let your systems cool. I trust you." Darryn couldn't believe the words that were said to him. Never in his life that anyone has trusted him for anything. Darryn then attatched himself to the device, then quickly searched for the planet of ship builders
