Dragon Ball NA
Last time on NA: after the arrival of the Saiyan princess and her traveler, our heroes brought them over to Qube Corp. so that Bull can build them a space ship. Due to complications, the engine Bull and Darryn worked on exloded. Now with a glimmer of hope, they try to contact a race of starship builders to help them. Will they succeed? Find out on Dragon Ball NA.
Almost six months have passed...
After the successful contact with the starship builders, Darryn and Bull waited paitently for them to arrive at Qube Corp.'s back yard."Mr. Bull. How do we know that we can still trust them after Ms. Jeena politely asked them over?" Bull just layed on the ground, while rolling a toothpick between his teeth and lips.
"Won't know until they do the job. Us Earthlings are new when it comes to space travel. Most of the other races out there, have been traveling a hell of a lot longer than us." Jeena then walked up to them, and sat by Bull. "How long does it take for them to get here?" She managed to hold her feelings for Bull long enough to answer.
"Should be here any moment. Takes roughly half an Earth year to get from their home planet." She then curled herself up into a ball, and buried her head. Darryn then looked up and noticed a craft, headng towards them.
"Seems like they're here." Bull got up, and dusted himself off.
Elsewhere, Rugai and Tenchu went into the gravity training room Bull made awhile back. As Tenchu finally got used to 100x gravity, Rugai then increased it to 110x. Tenchu marveled that Rugai had much restraint from turning into a Super Saiyan. "This would be a lot easier for you if you transformed." Rugai landed right next to himand put his hand on Tenchu's shoulder.
"It would, but all it does is increase my power and awareness by a small margin. Don't tell master this, but I meditated again and tried to astral project myself onto the other side. So far no luck." Rugai then walked away a couple steps then hovered mid-air. Then resumed his training. Tenchu was shocked that Rugai was trying to astral project again, but went back to train with his best friend.
Deena taught Sanfan the ability to fly and flew off a couple miles outside Central City and did their own training session. "Wow! This is the rush I've been missing. This is what you guys do on a daily basis?" Sanfan layed by the tree under the shady part, resting while Deena layed on the ground, under the sunny part.
"Rugai has, Tenchu and I just started getting our energy under control. Do you really think that Tenchu is cute, back at the tournament?"
"He's such a teddy bear. I knew it was ment to be for us to be together. I know he feels the same about me, every chance he gets Tenchu hugs me tightly." Sanfan started to blush, then looked away. "How does it feel to be married to an alien?" Deena blushed brighter than the sun. "I mean, we don't meet many aliens in our lives, but he's so strong, and good hearted to boot. Can't believe you snatched him up before any other girl can sink their claws into him." Deena got up, then sat next to her.
"After the tournament, Rugai has been getting marriage proposals, raunchy pictures of other girls. But like you said, he's a good hearted guy. Of everything he has done since his arrival, all he's been doing is helping people. I can't describe it, but I believe it was the same feeling you have towards Tenchu." Deena and Sanfan held hands, then exchanged a happy smile, before getting up and resuming their training.
Back at Qube Corp...
Jeena, Bull, Darryn and Kanashimi stood in front of the starship that just landed. As the door opened, two beings walked down the ramp while the third just stood by the ship's door. "Prrincessss Jeeena, Itss sssoo nicce tooo meeet youuu agggaaain." The fish-looking mechanic said with bubbles in his mouth, then extended his gloved covered hand at her, after they shook, the fish guy motioned the others to stand next to him. "Youuu muuussst beee Buuuuulll. Youuu haaaaveee trrriiieeed buuuiiildiiinggg youuuurrrreee oowwn shiiiip?" Bull tried his best not to vomit at the dead fish smell, but held it together.
"Yes. But when we tried to build the power source, it blew up." Bull showed them the schematics that was on his tablet, to them. After a quick glance, the fish mechanic spoke in a weird language to the other two, before speaking to Bull.
"AAA poowweeerrr thaaat cooombiiiineeesss Maatteeeer/aaantiii-maatteeeer aaannd fuuusssiiiooon/cooolld fuusssiiioon. Weee'rrreee ssshhooockeeed thaaat thiiis plaaaneeet diiidn't bleeewww uuuup." The fish guy erased the formula on the tablet. Bull and the rest went deathly pale at what he said.
"Ok, ok. No more matter/anti-matter, fusion/cold fusion reactions. But what do you propose what we should do?" Bull crossed his arms.
"Beeeccaaauuussse wweee ssstiiiillll haaavveee aaan aaallliiiaaanceee wwiiithhh theee SSSaaaiiiyyaaansss, weee'lll buuuiiild yyyooouuu guuuyyysss aaa sssttaaarrrssshhiiipp beeeffooorreee theee daaayyy iiisss oovveeerrr." Bull and the others were delighted to hear that.
"Only the three of you are building us a starship?" Darryn asked as even he was skeptical. "Even with a few hundred cyber-soldiers during my time in the Black Fist Organization, it would still take many months, sometimes years before we can get a properly working starship."
"Feeeaaarrr nooot myy aaandrrroooiiid frrriiieeend. IIIf yyooouuu wiiisssh, yyooouuu caaan oobsseeerrrveee uuusss." Darryn was intrigued, sat on the ground away from the ship builders, and waited paitently for them to start.
"Cool, well we better let you guys do your thing, and we'll check in on our other Saiyan friend." As almost everyone left the builders, Darryn sat still and watched them, and in no time at all constructed a 4D image of a ship. With a few minor tweeks and small improvements, the builders then constructed the outer framwork and engine. Few hours later, the inner workings of the ship, by early evening the ship was completed. Darryn watched and recorded everything the builders did. Just after he got up, the rest of our heroes was in awe at the ship. It was roughly three stories tall, and took the entire three mile backyard, and a city block.
"I am impressed. Almost the entire day and you built this. I even recorded what you did." Darryn got closer and studied the ship.
"SSSiiinceee yyyooouuu rrreeecooorrrdeeed iiit, yyyooouuu kknooow hooow tooo rrreeepaaaiiirrr iiit." The lead builder then uploaded everything Darryn didn't record in his memory banks. Just then, Rugai and the rest of his friends entered the backyard and saw the ship.
"Holy cow! That looks awesome!" Rugai was almost floored at the ship. The taller, scalier and mean-green lookin cracked his neckbefore stepping forward.
"Going to say this once, it's got two gravity adjustment training areas, an eating area that can replicate any food on your tables. Enough sleeping areas to fill a small army. And the cockpit with the state of the art navigation and communications. Thats it." Bull was impressed before asking the important questions.
"What's the materials you used to make the ship? And What power source did you use anyways?" The third, female mechanic sat in the middle of the ramp, humanoid looking with her orange-pink hair tied back in a tight ponytail.
"The ship's materials is simple, we combined the very minerals used deep in your earth's dirt. Every planet has them and its a renewable source, Tetradioxilated Lymequartz. Though it may not look sturdy, but with melting it and combining with simple lead, it creates the strongest metal in the entire universe, KaChink. As for the power source, a quantum singularity encased in rare alloys only found on our planet." Bull nearly died of a heart attack. Afterwards, Jeena and the builders walked towards their ship. After an exchange of goodbyes, she returned to them.
"Ok everyone, are we ready to stop my brother?" Rugai and the rest nodded, then one by one, they entered the ship. Upon reaching the interior, they loved how it resembles an open enviroment. Bull and Darryn immediately went into the cockpit and took one of the seats.
"Cozy and relaxing. You got the navigation controls bolt head?" Darryn still couldn't accept his nickname.
"Affirmative. I've taken the liberty to add a bakdoor to this ships systems incase of any outside breeches." Bull stroked his chin then pushed the button for the internal intercom.
"Shut your pie holes and open your dang ears. We're taking off now, strap yourselves down, and clench your buttholes." Bull released the button and motioned Darryn to fire up the engines. After a few minutes, they took off and headed towards space. After exiting the stratosphere, they got halfway to the moon when a unexpected communication was recieved, which said
Mayday...nearly...don't...help...
"Don't help? What the hell does that mean?" Bull turned towards everyone.
"We should help them, I got a feeling that they're in serious trouble and are on the verge of dying." Rugai turned to the others, and most of them agreed.
"Rugai's right. We even got a state of the art medical room." Jeena quickly said before heading out of the room. Kanashimi just growled in anger before leaving to one of the gravity room.
Moments later...
Our heroes found the nearly destroyed ship, Darryn scanned it. "Sensors indicate that its still habitable in certain parts of the ship. I've found two survivors, and they're huddled in the mess hall. I'd say you have an estimate one hour before the engine goes critical and explodes." Rugai quickly rushed towards the air lock, Tenchu immediately followed.
"Hey Ru, wait up." Tenchu caught up to him. "All we're doing is getting in, saving them, and getting out as quickly as possible. Got it?" Rugai nodded, then a moment later, the path between them opened up. Both of them ran in fast, and made a B-line to the mess hall. As they rounded one of the corridors, a shadowed area moved away from them. "Did you see that?"
"This isn't good. Looks like trouble. Feeling like you can carry two people?" Rugai kept his gaze on the shadowed area.
"Of course bro, haven't been training in 110x normal gravity for nothing. Though I have a long way too go before trying 500x like you." Rugai smirked a bit, then both carefully kept their way towards the mess hall.
Now that our heroes have started their journy into space, they encountered a strange ship. Will Rugai and Tenchu find the survivors in time? Or will the shadows get them before they reach the mess hall? All this and more, on the next episode of Dragon Ball NA
