Dragon Ball NA
Last time on NA: After Rugai destroyed the queen creature from the Nexus of Death, he and Tenchu rescued two young girls from becoming part of them. After they arrived on a nearby planet to give them a good home, the elder of the small village asked our heroes to stop a menacing demonic being from destroying what's left of the planet. An hour passed...
Rugai, Tenchu and Kanashimi flew off towards the darkened mountains to find the demon. While Deena, Sanfan and Jeena stayed behind to gather more information about the creature. "Hey, why do you care so much about these, or anyone for that matter?" Kanashimi got closer to Rugai.
"I don't want anyone to go through that same pain of loneliness I went through." Kanashimi raised an eyebrow.
"You don't look lonely." Rugai lowered his head and got a bit depressed.
"After I witnessed Planet Vegeta's destruction, I spent several months cooped up in the space pod hurtling towards Earth. Every planet I passed, I hoped it would be my new home. But sadly it wasn't. Spent most of my food reserves just trying to survive, and the last two months, all I had left was enough water to get me through the week. So after I landed on Earth, I didn't feel so alone anymore. That's why I go out of my way, no matter what, to prevent that same loneliness to happen to anyone else." Rugai raised his head again, then transformed into a Super Saiyan.
"You... were awake... the entire flight to Earth!?" Kanashimi's expression was shocked, then lowered her head. "I'm... sorry to hear that." She remebered the time when she felt that same loneliness after Lyc kicked her out of his group. Then she raised her head again, put up her dark purple aura and tried to catch up with Rugai. Tenchu smiled a bit, then put up his light red aura and caught up with them in no time.
Meanwhile, back at the village. Deena sat with the elder while Sanfan and Jeena walked around town and helped gathered as much information as possible. "Elder, where did this demon come from anyways?" She said just before she took a sip of the strange looking tea.
"The demon came from beyond the stars, to reign destruction upon our lands. But legends foretold, a great warrior that glows bright like the golden light of the heavens, shall vanquish the demon and bring peace to our humble world." Deena was shocked with the words 'golden light' and remembered that Rugai's Super Saiyan form. "But your friend with the large, spikey hair has that light within him." Deena lightly gave the elder a stern look.
"What makes you think that he has such a light?" The elder poured more tea in her cup, and laughed a bit.
"I might not look it, but I used to be a great warrior back in my days of youth." Deena leaned forward a bit.
"How old are you anyways?" She took hold of her cup and started to sip from it.
"I'm 345 years old." The elder smiled widely, before caughing violently. Deena then sprayed spit her tea out, coughed heavily, then looked at the elder dumboundedly.
"345 YEARS OLD!?" Deena nearly fainted.
"Our race lives a very long time, roughly four times longer than humans on some habitable planets. Besides, I used too be a gallant warrior." The elder coughed heavily again. "You have a special light too, young one." The elder smiled again. "The demon you seek, lies on the other side of those mountains. Your three friends will have to undergo a couple trials before taking on the main guy." Deena looked skeptical.
Outside, Sanfan and Jeena saw various clues about the so called 'demon'. After inspecting them, they couldn't figure it out. As they headed back, a very loud roar echoed across the land. Everyone outside and inside covered their ears very tightly. Sanfan tried to speak to Jeena, but the loud noise muffled everything. After a few minutes, it died off. Both Jeena and Sanfan released their ears and found some blood on it. Everyone tried to speak, but no one could hear any form of sound.
Back at Rugai's team...
All three of them had the same thing happened to them. Tenchu and Rugai practiced the hand signs in case of stealthing or loss of healing. As they communicated that way, Kanashimi got angry, hit a few trees, then stood in front of them with much rage in her eyes. Tenchu pointed downwards to the ground, and wrote 'We are still heading to those mountains.' He erased it, then wrote 'Our hearing will eventually come back in time.' Then erased it again. 'If you need something, tap one of our shoulders.' Once again, he erased it. 'Then gesture with your body what you want.' After his last erase, he looked at Kanashimi and saw a not. Rugai reverted back to his original state, then without looking, motioned from his left finger to continue their trek.
After a couple hours passed, they arrived at the base of the mountains, with their hearing returned. "That demon is so dead." Kanashimi was still angry that she lost her hearing.
"Do you sense that Rugai?" Rugai only nodded, extended his open hand forward, and blasted a camouflaged device that looked like a miniature version of the very same mountain range. "I take it you're mad?" Rugai looked back at Tenchu.
"Mad, no. Just irritated that someone who's doing evil things with his/her powers instead of helping them." Rugai pressed on, Kanashimi and Tenchu followed suit. They eventually reached the cave entrance, and saw bones of fallen warriors laid out before them.
"Cozy. But it lacks a sense of style and brings the decor down." Tenchu tried to lighten the mood a bit. Kanashimi looked at Tenchu and slowly shook her head. Rugai chuckled a bit.
"Alright guys, lets go. Whoever is causing this mysery to the citizens of this planet, will pay." Rugai was the first to enter the cave, Kanashimi was second then Tenchu. After a few minutes in, the path spit into three more. "I got the middle. You guys be safe." Rugai took is choice, then the hole closed.
"See you back at the ship." Tenchu used a two finger salute at Kanashimi, then took the right path. Kanashimi cracked her neck, then took the left path. Afterwards, they then both closed up.
Deena and the other two returned to the ship and reported what they knew. "Why didn't you report back using the ear pieces?" Bull was a bit irritated that no one used his invention.
"Couldn't really. Didn't you hear that very loud roar? It made us deaf for awhile." Bull and Evelyn gave the 'what are you talking about' look at the three of them. "Wait... This ship wasn't effected by the outside noise?" Everyone turned to Jeena for an explination.
"Oh yea! I forgot that this ship is unaffected by outside interference." She put her right hand behind her head, closed her eyes and stuck her tongue out. Everyone quickly lowered their heads and have their eyes closed. Bull was the first to raise his and gave Jeena a stern look.
"You could've told us everything during our trip, princess." Bull got up then headed back to the cockpit.
"Has anyone heard from my Tenchu or the other two yet?" Sanfan got worried that she hadn't talked or held him in her arms." Everyone who was still in the room shook their heads. Sanfan got up and headed back to the village.
Kanashimi was the first to enter a large room. Inside there was a very large and portly guy sitting in the middle. "Just FREAKING fantastic. I get a fat ass as an opponent." The guy got mad, picked up his spiked club, and tried to hit Kanashimi. She ended up dodging it and took to the air, then smiled. "All that strength and zero speed to back it up. You're no match for me." The guy teleported in front of her eyes. Kanashimi quickly looked around for him. The second she turned around, she took a nasty hit from the club and hit the ground very hard, leaving a decent size crater. Kanashimi slowly got halfway up the crater, coughed up some blood, then gave the guy a Saiyan style death stare. "You BASTARD! I'LL KILL YOU!" She then got completely out, engulfed herself in her dark purple aura, and powered up. She put her hands together by her thumbs together, pointed at the guy. "HAVOK BLAST!" She fired her attack at him, destroying the club and his right arm. He then laughed.
"You think taking me down limb from limb will give you the win?" He regenerated his arm quickly, then chuckled. "You are sadly MISTAKEN!" He pointed his hand at Kanashimi, and fired a large enough blast at her. She took a defensive stance, and the blast hit her. When the dust and smoke cleared, her left arm was bleeding and useless, she was bleeding on her right side of her face, blinding her right eye. She bent her knees and did her best not to fall from the pain. The fat guy then laughed at her. "So... the little girl is a bit tougher than she looks." He then raised another hand at Kanashimi, and in both hands glowed a very dark red energy in the middle of his palms. "Hehehehe... TAKE THIS! CRIMSON CROQUETTE DOUBLE HELPING!" He fired his attack at her, she just looked at him then... everything slowed down. Kanashimi quckly looked around and everything around her quit moving nearly altogether. She stood up, then a surge of power overwhelmed her body. Nearly seconds later, she was engulfed in a piller of golden-yellow light. It deflected the attack right back at her opponent. The portly guy covered his face as best as he could. Then, the light was gone. Kanashimi had transformed into a Super Saiyan.
"Guess I needed that push to reach this level. Thanks Fat ass." With a half hearted smile, Kanashimi engulfed herself in the golden-yellow aura. She put her left hand halfway on her left side, then with her right hand in front of her left, fingers facing her opponent. "Lets see you can dodge this... GALICK GUN!" She thrusted her hands forward, hitting him and destroying his entire body. Moments after the dust settled, her attack punched a hole through the cave. She then collapsed on the ground and reverting to her normal state.
Tenchu reached an outside opened area. He looked around trying to figure out where traps might be located. He looked at the far entrance upon hearing footsteps heading towards him. A couple minutes later, a beautiful woman enters. She was wearing an extremely short shorts, a very small black bikini top and black leather ankle high boots. She saw Tenchu and halfway bowed at him. "My, what a handsome man you are." She blew a kiss at him. "What can I do to get such a cutie to be my husband?" Tenchu wasn't affected by the charm casting she is trying to put on him.
"Sorry..." Tenchu put up an attack stance. "...But I already have someone in my life. Besides, I need to get through there and meet up with my friends at the end." The girl laughed maniacally at Tenchu.
"Good answer handsome. Truth is..." She transformed into a a succubus with large demonic wings, and detatched her tail and used it as a whip. "...I want to suck out your soul and feast on your flesh!" Her now raspy voice filled the place in a very loud tone. Tenchu kept his stance waiting for her to attack. The Succubus walked closer to him, extended her left hand, produced a very dark red - nearly black ball of energy. She lightly but quickly blew on it, and sent it hurtling towards him. Tenchu quickly crossed his arms in front of his face before the attack hit him. Tenchu rushed at the succubus and backhanded her in the face, making her stumble a bit to her left.
"I really don't want to kill you, but I must in order to proceed." Tenchu kept his head leveled, the succubus clentched her left fist, and hit him as hard as she can. He stumbled back an inch, then head butted her head as hard as he can. She fell back a few feet, when she regained her composure, she saw both of his hands clentched and glowing brightly. "Here's a move I learned from my best friend..." Quickly, Tenchu extended both hands forward, releasing all the energy he gathered. "...SHOTGUN DOUBLE BARREL!" Balls of light red energy flew out in an extremely fast pace, hitting every part of her body, causing a chain explosion reaction all over her. The succubus layed there, motionless and now, lifeless. Tenchu took a moment to catch his breath before proceeding into her side's entrance.
Rugai finally reached the main chamber. As he looked around, he sensed the energy of his two friends winning their bouts. "SO, YOU THINK THAT YOU CAN DEFEAT ME, BECAUSE YOUR FRIENDS TOOK OUT MY GENERALS? THAT'S VERY DEMON-LIKE OF YOU." The booming voice came from the middle, darkened area. The demon walked into the lit area and revealed himself. Dressed in a black tuxedo suit, the demon had red skin with slick back black hair and large horns extended his right hand at Rugai, "DO NOT BE AFRAID MY YOUNG SAIYAN. I'M NOT GOING TO KILL YOU, BUT I DO HAVE A PROPOSITION FOR YOU, LEAVE THIS PLANET WITH YOUR FRIENDS, AND I'LL GRANT YOU THE POWER TO SAVE EVERYONE EVERYWHERE. WHAT DO YOU SAY?" The demon smiled as he kept his hand extended at Rugai.
"Sorry, but that's not worth it. Power must be earned through fierce determination, not to be given freely." Rugai smiled at him. "Besides, I don't trust you that well that you will keep your end. So, I'll be taking you out and free these people from your evil ways." Rugai suckered punch the demon hard, sending him flying back into the darkened area. The demon growled loudly, then rushed out in his full demon form. His suit turned into giant, black devil wings and his pants a smaller version of them. The demon roared loudly then charged at Rugai. Rugai smiled a bit, then transformed into his Super Saiyan form. The demon cringed at the golden-yellow aura that engulfed Rugai, then tried to attack him. Rugai blocked all the flurry of punches and kicks the demon threw at him. Rugai quickly punched the creature, sent him flying back into the darkened area.
"YOU BASTARD! I'LL KILL YOU!" The demon returned into the lit area, bigger and was engulfed in black fire. "PEOPLE FEAR ME BECAUSE I CAN BURN ANYTHING INTO NOTHING." The demon raised a finger and launched a black ball of fire at Rugai. "BALL OF AMATERATSU!" Rugai gathered enough energy in his hand, then extended it forward faster than before.
"SHOTGUN!" Rugai's attack flew a lot faster than the other times he used it. The Shotgun decimated the demon's ball, and then the demon itself. Rugai lowered his hand and saw most of the limbs and both wings didn't work anymore. "Stop your evil ways, and I'll let you live." The demon laughed uncontrollably.
"STOP MY EVIL WAYS? YOU MUST BE JOKING. I will destroy you and this entire world!" The demon's only right arm pointed at Rugai. Rugai shifted his stance to fire a Kamehameha wave. The demon's black fire, covered his hand and arm with much intensity that the air around him began to dry up and the ground to crack. "EAT THIS, MY MOST DEVISTATING ATTACK... AMATERATSU FLAME THROWER!" A large black flame shot out of the demon's arm and made its way to Rugai.
"KAMEHAMEHAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Rugai's beam broke through the demon's flame thrower and hit the demon, completely destroying him.
After an hour, Tenchu carried Kanashimi into the same room where Rugai took out the demon. "Dang, just when I thought I could help you, you took him out. Was he tough?" Rugai kept his gaze at the stars.
"Hardly, but his attacks wasn't something to get caught in." Tenchu looked around and saw some of the black flames burning on random objects and a support piller.
"Black flames of hell... Amateratsu. How did you know?" Rugai looked at them.
"Master Evelyn told me all about it once when we just started training under her. I recognized it the moment I saw it on the candles. How is she?" Kanashimi opened her right eye and looked at him.
"Not dead yet you idiots." Both Rugai and Tenchu fell hard on the ground and just layed roughly by her.
With the demons defeated, the planet is safe from its evil clutches. Will our heroes make it to their destination? Find out next time on Dragon Ball NA
