Dragon Ball NA
Last time on NA: Rugai and his two companions set off to defeat a deamon that plagued the planet, while Deena and the other two women tried to gather more information. Later, Kanashimi finally unlocked her Super Saiyan transformation and defeated her oponent, Tenchi also won his while Rugai's opponent used the forbidden Amateratsu attack. With all three defeated, Our heroes rested up before heading back to the ship. What will happen next? Stay tuned to Dragon Ball NA.
Half a day passed...
Rugai, Tenchu and Kanashimi finally returned to the village. Deena and the others welcomed back with open arms. "About time you get back. We need to have a minor chat boy." Bull grabbed Rugai my the scruff of his neck and headed towards the ship.
"Anyone care to guess what he has planned for Rugai?" Jeena asked everyone, and they shrugged their shoulders. Later, Bull pushed Rugai in his room and locked the door behind him.
"Something didn't add up while you were gone for half a day. Want to know why?" Rugai sat on his bed against the wall, and leaned his head back and looked at the ceiling.
"I noticed. The fight with that demon was way too easy. I even felt it when talking to the old man." Rugai kept his gaze at the ceiling.
"What are you going to do about it, boy?" Bull sat on the chair, arm on the back of it, and looked at the table. Rugai got up, went to his closet and and changed his outfit to that of one he made. A Black Gi outfit, with an orange belt that the tail ends are sticking to his left side. A white, weighted shirt and fingerless gloves and boots. Then closed his closet and turned to Bull. "Not sticking with the armor, aren't you?" He halfed smiled at him.
"I liked it, but I feel better just fighting in an outfit that felt comfortable. Now I'm going to talk with the old man. Better get everyone else on board, in case it might get messy." Rugai just stared at the door with fierce determination.
"That I'll do. Catch up to us or be left behind." Rugai left his room and headed towards the village.
Moments later...
After everyone entered the ship, Bull and Darryn took off and headed towards orbit. Rugai just stood in the center of the village, looking at the elder. "Why didn't you go with them, young one?" The elder coughed hard again.
"Stop trying to play us. I know that you aren't really an old man. I felt no other life in this planet. Care to try again?" The elder started chuckling lightly at first, dropped his walking staff and laughed loudly as he can.
"Fool! You could've just took out the demon and left those young girls here in my... personal care." The elder changed his form and looked much younger, and wore green pants and boots, then licked his lips.
"You're a sick pervert." Rugai moved his eyes to his right and saw both Lizza and Greanne tied to bent crosses, crying in pain. After he looked back at the former elder, He redied himself in attack.
"You will die... YOU BRAT! I Z'ELK WILL KILL YOU... AND YOUR FRIENDS!" Both Rugai and Z'elk dissappeared. Random shockwaves filled the night sky, causing various locations underneath them to shake violently and makeshift huts to crumble. After a big shockwave explosion, a silhouette fell fast from the sky and impacted the ground, causing a decent size crater. Z'elk emerged from that crater bleeding from the mouth a bit, stared furiously at Rugai. Rugai cracked his neck and hovered in the air waiting for Z'elk to attack."RRRRAAAAAGGGGGHHHHH!" Z'elk covered his body in a azure flame aura, and charged quickly at Rugai. Rugai let out a sigh and powered up a bit, then gathered energy into his enclosed fists, it glowed brightly as Z'elk got closer to him.
Rugai quickly extended his fists forward at Z'elk. "SHOTGUN DOUBLE BARREL!" The multiple energy bullets flew towards Z'elk. Z'elk mimicked Rugai's attack, and cancelled it out. Rugai was shocked. "How the hell...?" Z'elk laughed maniacally.
"You fool! A simple attack like is futile one me. Prepare to die!" Z'elk extended his hands shoulder length high and closed his legs together, then gathered energy in his hands and feet making them glow brightly. Energy lines quickly went towards his chest and made a huge energy ball. "SOUTHERN CROSS BLAST!" All four beams launched at Rugai. Z'elk smiled evily as soon as it hit him. The dust and smoke settled, and Z'elk's expression went to shocked and angry at the same time. Rugai transformed into a Super Saiyan.
"You are the fool, Z'elk. You are about to be destroyed. This is the last time you prey on innocent travelers!" Rugai teleported behind Z'elk, quckly gathered energy in his body, and exploded the blast around him and Z'elk.
"RRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Z'elk deteriorated right in front of Rugai, then turned to dust afterwards. Rugai kept his transformed state, and went to the young girls and freed them.
"It's ok. You can live with us from now on. I promise to protect the both of you." Lizza and Greanne began crying in Rugai's arms. Rugai Smiled briefly before the planet started shaking violently. Volcanoes began erupting out of no where, lightning crashed violently and randomly on the ground. Rugai held the girls tightly, and started flying towards the ship. "Hang on very tightly girls! Hold your breath too!" They did as they were told as Rugai gained altitude towards the ship. "Anyone hearing this better open the hatch, cuz I ain't stopping!" Higher and higher Rugai climbed. Once he saw the ship in view, he noticed the cargo hold doors open wide enough for three people to get through. "This'll be close, keep holding your breaths girls!" Soon, all three of them were in the ship, and Darryn closed the bay doors.
"Welcome back, master Rugai." Rugai released the girls and fell on his back, and catching his breath. Both Lizza and Greanne got up and looked at Rugai.
"Thank you so much!" Lizza hugged him tightly. Greanne was shocked to see Rugai in his transformed state. Rugai slightly got up, then reverted back into his normal state. "Oooooh! I like you better with the blonde hair." Rugai awkwardly smiled at Lizza.
"Hope you said your goodbyes to this dead weight of a planet... Scratch that, empty waste of space. We'll continue our journey to Pargonia... So quit yer bitchin!" Bull's report through the intercom, really boosted the spirits of everyone on there.
Three weeks later...
Lizza and Greanne adjusted to their new lives with Rugai and the rest of their friends. Jeena and Sanfan kept an eye on them while everyone else was doing their thing in various locations. Rugai and Tenchu resumed their training in their gravity room, this time at 150x normal. "I... think that... I'm getting... used to this level." Tenchu tried to catch his breath as he held his attack form at Rugai. "What do... you say that... we up the level... closer to 200?" Rugai, covered in sweat and also catching his breath, just smiled.
Meanwhile, Kanashimi and Deena was in the other gravity room, going at it at 75x normal, with Kanashimi in her transformed state. "You're making this easy, come at me." She grined evily at Deena.
"Try this on for size!" Deena put her right hand behind her, left foot forward a bit. A bright pink ball of energy glowed brightly, then threw it at Kanashimi.
Bull took a break from the cockpit, and headed towards the mess hall. Along the way, he saw Evelyn meditating in her room. "Zenny for your thoughts?" Bull leaned a bit in the doorway. Evelyn just stared in her hands.
"Rugai and the others have surpassed me in every way. The meditative, astral projection into the world of the dead, It's not that dangerous to the spirit." Evelyn's conscious weighed heavily on her.
"I think the boy already knew that." Bull looked both ends of the hallway before returning his attention back at Evelyn. "Look, we both know that Rugai is special. So why did you think that protecting him would help ease your guilt? Hell, he's risked life and limb nearly on a daily basis for people he doesn't know. Quit with the self pity, and just get over it. They still need you for guidence, so guide them or get the hell off this ship." Bull's rash behavior snapped Evelyn out of her funk, just as he left her room.
Darryn kept navigating the ship through the infinite distance of space. The second he looked at the raydar/sonar screen, a large blip showed up. "Interesting. My visual optics cannot detect any abnormalities, however, this device clearly tells me differently." The cloaked ship uncloaked itself in front of Darryn's optics. The giant blue and red ship, with a black marking of triple dragons surrounding a sword, hailed them.
"Attention unidentified ship, we of the syndicate demand that you surrender your vessel immediately, and hand over anything thats valuable." The communication repeated itself over and over again. Darryn didn't know what to do, then called Rugai over the personal intercom.
"Syndicate? Hang on, Tenchu and I will be up shortly." A few minutes later, a tattered Rugai and Tenchu stood by Darryn.
"I didn't know the protocal to respond. What shall we do?" Tenchu put his hand on Rugai's left shoulder.
"Let me handle this bro, I can handle this." Both Rugai and Darryn looked at him.
"You do realize that there's no breatheable air in space, right? You could die just after setting foot out there."
"Master Rugai is correct. Maybe we should think things better instead of rushing head first and with a 99.999% chance of dying out there." Darryn added his opinion as well.
"Let them dock with us, and then go all out taking them out. Might as well steal any information after you guys had your little fun over there." Bull had an evil expression after he entered the cockpit. "Any info will be valuable for us to survive out here in the sea of stars." All three looked at Bull with non-surprised look on their faces. "Quit your staring at me, and hurry it up." Bull sent a signal of surrender, soon after, the syndicate ship docked closeby and sent the docking tube to one of the air locks. Luckly Rugai, Tenchu and Kanashimi hid behind either side of the door. After the door opened, swarms of syndicate soldiers started to barge in, Kanashimi lept out and blasted them into unconsciousness. Tenchu and Rugai exchanged nods and rushed into the tube behind Kanashimi. After a lengthly trip, they finally arrived onto the other ship, and each took a different corridor. Everyone of the syndicate soldiers were falling after taking a blast from either one of the three that barged in.
Half an hour later...
All three of them ended up in the syndicate's ship's cockpit, and then Bull showed up right behind them. "Good job taking care of the small fries kids." Bull grinned devilishly as he placed his hand on the door controls. Rugai and Tenchu looked at him with distant hatred for him.
As soon as Bull opened up the door, A very large, muscular woman sat on a small chair in the middle of the room. She turned around and cracked her knuckles and got up. "So.." She started speaking with a nearly deep voice that might rival any guy. "...You are the ones who easily took out my soldiers? Got guts I'll say that for sure, but stupid to say the least. The syndicate doesn't take to well with people trying to be heroes." The woman got closer to them, then punched Kanashimi hard, sending her back into the corridor and knocking her out.
Who are these syndicate and why was she able to knock out a Saiyan with one punch? As two of our heroes readied themselves to counter attack the ship's commander, the lone Bull slowly backed away. Will they get out of this predictament? Find out next time on Dragon Ball NA.
