Dragon Ball NA
Last time on NA: Rugai nearly won his fight against the syndicate member, Corrynthia, our heroes landed on Saturn. While Bull sifted through what information he obtained, the three Saiyans and the Kamekian went into town. After a brief tussle with some Dragonkyn, one of them joined Rugai and his friends. With an ugly truth revealed and a course change, they make their way to planet Namek. Can their new resolve to stop Lyc? Find out on Dragon Ball NA.
Three weeks later...
Rugai and Tenchu were training hard with Shrodd under nearly 400x gravity. Rugai was in his super mode, while Tenchu was doing his best to anticipate his movements and dodging them. Shrodd was straining and barely moving on the floor. "Guys... any way... to turn... down the gravity...?" Shrodd could barely lift his head up at them. Tenchu and Rugai locked hands, and headbutted each other, making small shockwaves that shook the room. Shrodd strained his way to the control console and reverted the gravity back to normal. Rugai and Tenchu released their grip on each other, and both their side of the walls. "Geeze guys, I know you train hard, but 400x's!?" Shrodd fell on his backside, and breathed heavily. Rugai landed and reverted back to his normal state. Tenchu, on the other hand, remained floating in the air.
"We have no idea how strong Lyc is, or if he has any strong fighters helping him. so we're training harder than ever." Rugai returned into his super mode, and slightly increased the gravity to 450x. Rugai picked up Shrodd, and continued their training. Elsewhere, Bull was busy in the lab, building new prototypes to aid his friends better. Evelyn was watching carefully from one of he corners.
"If you're bored, calibrate the breathers. Or... GET THE HELL OUT!" Bull kept tinkering with inventions that are popping into his head. Evelyn got up and left the lab. She was halfway down the corridor, when Jeena and Deena bumped into her.
I'm sorry master. Are you ok?" Evelyn kept looking down. "Master?" Evelyn continued walking down the corridor, and entered her room. The two girls then entered Evelyn's room. "Master, you've been depressed since the tournament. Please tell us what's wrong." Evelyn then started crying, and held her head in her hands.
"I'm a terrible master. I've done something that brought me to shame." Both girls looked confused. "I have no right to be yours or anyone's master." Deena got closer and comforted Evelyn.
"Master, you've trained us without any questions whatsoever. For you to start acting like this..." Deena broke her hold on Evelyn and sat next to her. "Means you've got a moral debate about it. Please tell us what is bothering you?" Deena started to tear up, Jeena held Evelyn's right hand. Evelyn looked up at them and kept crying.
"I told Rugai that meditating into the land of the dead would kill him. But it really doesn't and I feel awful about telling him that."
"Did you think that telling that sort of lie would stop the boy from losing his gentleness? The boy probably knows about it, but wanted you to tell him when YOU are ready. The boy's gentle nature is what makes him stronger." Bull leaned in the doorway with his arms crossed.
"How can you tell?" Evelyn looked at him, tears still running down her face.
"He not the type to get mad over the small things. YOU should know that by now." Bull exited Evelyn's room. Jeena and Deena both gave her a hug.
"He's right. Everytime Rugai got mad, it was because innocent people were getting hurt, or his friends were in trouble." Jeena only nodded. "Besides, Rugai enjoys life. You wouldn't have done what you did without a reason, right?" Evelyn just stared at the floor, not moving.
"ATTENTION EVERYONE, PLANET NAMEK WITHIN RANGE. PLEASE PREPARE YOURSELVES FOR LANDING AND DISEMBARKMENT." Darryn announced over the ships PA system, the three of them stayed in Evelyn's room. Bull did a quick checklist of everything he built, then stored all the smaller items away. Rugai turned off the gravity room, then layed on the floor as did Tenchu and Shrodd. Lizza and Greanne, along with Kanashimi and Ferno, turned off the monitor after getting into one of the Earth made movies Bull brought aboard. Soon afterwards, Darryn landed the ship far from any habited island.
The sky was partly cloudy, two of the three suns were setting on the horizon. The air was clean and crisp, the water was as clear and clean. Everyone took turns inhaling and exhaling the air, and admired its beauty. "Its like we never left Earth." Deena spoke up. Almost everyone quickly realized how closely right she was
"It does have some sense of resemblance and nostalgic." Bull smacked him in the back of the head.
"We should break into teams and explore while we can." Rugai, Tenchu and Ferno took to the air, and headed East. Kanashimi, Deena and Jeena headed towards the Northern grabbed Evelyn and Sanfan and headed South. Bull, Darryn and the two girls headed West on a hover skiff Bull made after he Qubed it.
Rugai's group landed just outside a small village. Rugai noticed small children playing tag with each other. And most of the adults stopped working and looked at them. "Visitors!" One of them yelled in a strange tongue. Some of them ran towards the back of the village, taking the small children with them. The rest stood ready to attack Rugai's group. Rugai quickly raised his hands to surrender to the villagers.
"Woah, woah, woah! We aren't here to fight you guys! We're not interested in attacking you guys for no reason!" Tenchu and Ferno quickly raised their hands to also surrender.
"We aren't fooled by your words! You harbor a Kamekian! Sworn enemies to the Namekians!" Rugai and Tenchu couldn't understand their language. Ferno, on the other hand, understood them very well.
"They speak the truth. I have no reason to hate the Namekians. I haven't seen any of my kind since I landed on Earth. Please, don't hate them." The Namekians, Rugai and Tenchu's expressions were shocked to say the least. Ferno just looked around. "What?"
"Y...You speak Namekianese?" Tenchu's eyes stayed wide.
"Its Namekian, you idiot." One of the Namekians spoke up. "Why do you have a Kamekian with you? Their kind is unwanted on Namek!" Ferno sulked, and lowered his hands and started to walk away. Rugai grabbed his arm and kept him there.
"Why is everyone we meet have a hatred to these Kamekians? Ferno here isn't like..."
"Shut up! Kamekians nearly destroyed our planet, and wiped out our strongest fighters! Kamekians must perish!" The one who spoke, lunged at Rugai. He kept dodging the punches and kicks the Namekian threw at him. The rest then charged at the other two. All three kept dodging the attacks, never fighting back. "Damn you!" The one fired a Ki blast at Rugai from point blank. Rugai immediately transformed into a Super Saiyan and took the blast. As the smoke and dust cleared, everyone stopped fighting and just stared at Rugai, shocked and fell to their knees.
"Now... are you guys going to listen to us, or shall I take this fight seriously?" All the Namekian fighters backed away from Tenchu and Ferno. The one still in front of Rugai, threw his strongest punch into his left cheek. Rugai just stared at him, with his head tilted looking mad. "Gues this one needs to be taught a lesson." Two of the Namekians quickly grabbed the one in front of Rugai, and pulled him away.
"A... a Super Saiyan!?" The big one spoke. Everyone that fled the village returned to see Rugai and the others.
"What do you know about the Saiyans?" Rugai reverted to his normal mode, and got closer. The big Namekian spoke.
"There were tales from ancient Namekian times, about a Saiyan who saved our people from a tyrant trying to steal our Dragon Balls. It was because of him, that we continued to live in peaceful times. Despite that the Kamekians nearly destroyed us the second time." Ferno felt uneasy hearing about the way people hated him because of his race. "So why is the Kamekian doing with you?"
"He fights along side me and my friends. He fights to be noticed as a person, not because of what he say that because of the Kamekians nearly destroyed your race a second time. Why?" Rugai sat on the ground, then the elder walked to the front of the crowd, and slowly sat in front of Rugai.
"I can tell you the tale, for I was the one who saw it all. We Namekians have a long life span. Almost a thousand years ago, we Namekians and the Kamekians lived peacefully. We valued the life of the planet and not harm its balance. The Kamekians, on the other hand, valued that advancing forward technology wise. Built large buildings in various locations. Though some Kamekians didn't like technology, and joined the Namekians way of living. The ones who valued technology, created a weathering device. At first it was a great idea, getting what we need at the price of nothing. However, because of it, turned our planet to what it looks like now. Great lands sank at the bottom of the waters. Vegetations becoming poisonous. The harmony on this planet, ruined. The Kamekians fled the planet and not taking responsibility for what they did. We heard stories about similar events on other planets, sometimes storied about even worse crimes they committed." Rugai's heart felt uneasy, Ferno squatted and placed his hands over his ears. Tenchu closed his eyes and looked away.
"I am sorry about what they did. But this one is different. The only time he used any technology, was on our ship." The Namekians were shocked and murmured amongst themselves. "Look, Ferno just wants to help others..." A rock flew towards Rugai, hitting him on the forehead, making him bleed. Tenchu readied himself to attack the thrower, while Ferno placed his hand on his shoulder and shook his head no.
"If you feel strongly about me, I'll leave." Ferno gradually floated upwards, then went back to the ship. Rugai, turned his back on the Namekians and did the same. Tenchu stayed behind, and gathered more information.
Kanashimi's group were busy fighting the Namekians in the northern village. Jeena kept dodging all the attacks, while Deena and Kanashimi fought them off. "Damn it! I always thought the Namekians were docile and peaceful people!?" Deena dodged a punch, and countered one of her own.
"They should be!" Jeena kept dodging the attacks.
"That idiot Rugai probably has this figured out! Screw this I'm killing them!" Kanashimi charged her attacks with her Ki. Knocked one of the Namekians higher into the air, brought her thumbs together and pointed them at the Namekian. "HAVOK BLAST!" Her attack flew towards the airborn Namekian. Deena quickly got between them, and deflected the attack towards the water close by. "Why did you do that?" Deena turned and elbowed the Namekian that was knocked into the air.
"We're not going to kill the Namekians! Just retreat for now!" Deena let the Namekian fell to the ground. "Girls, shield your eyes!" Kanashimi and Jeena did. Deena put her open hands, palms facing behind her, next to her head. "SOLAR FLARE!" The Namekians we blinded by the attack. Deena and Jeena each took an arm from Kanashimi, and flew back to the ship.
Southern village...
Shrodd took a defensive stance, trying to protect Evelyn and Sanfan from the barrage of Ki attacks the Namekians were throwing at him. "Miss Sanfan... Please take Ms. Evelyn back to the ship." Sanfan quickly did as she was asked, and flew off. Shrodd made a quick explosion with his arms and wings, and sucked in some air into his lungs. "FIRE BREATH!" Shrodd quickly leaned forward, opened his mouth and blasted azure blue fire towards the Namekians' feet. Shrodd took the confusion opportunity and caught up with the ladies. "We must hurry, Master Rugai and the others need to know what we found." Sanfan quickly nodded, Evelyn just looked down still depressed. Meanwhile in the western area, Bull landed the hover skiff near a cave. After a couple steps, his skiff's comunications rang, and popped up a 3D hologram of Dr. Anthony.
What news does Dr. Anthony have for android Darryn and Bull? Why did the Namekians attack our heroes after arriving in the villages? Can they figure out what is happening to them? Stay tuned next time on Dragon Ball NA
