Dragon Ball NA
Last time on NA: After our heroes escaped the mind controlled Namekians, Ferno and our two Saiyans, with the help of Bull's new diving suit, went exploring underwater. Bull's unsettling news, caused him to create artificial powers, and out of concern made Deena and Jeena to tag along. What will happen to them? Stay tuned to Dragon Ball NA.
"What the hell is that!?" Kanashimi said as she finally fell on her butt. The Kamekian on the floor started to laugh.
"Fools. That thing out there can swallow this facility whole... That is if I command it too." Rugai uncrossed his arms, and walked out of the room. "Pathetic Saiyan whelp, running away at the first site of trouble. He won't get far." Ferno then punched the Kamekian in the face, knocking him out.
"That Saiyan whelp, as you called him, will make sure that'll never happened." Ferno released his grip, and headed towards the console. Upon hitting random buttons, an image popped up with the megashark and the chemical composition to neutralize the mind control substance in the waters.
The moment Rugai swam out the facility, his excitement grew so great, he nearly blacked out. The megashark quickly headed towards him, Rugai quickly went Super and dodged him. With a hard right punch to the base of the shark's left fin, the shark thrashed a bit before headed away from the facility. Rugai gave chase.
Kanashimi looked over Ferno's shoulder and saw what Ferno saw. "Why would that Kamekian have the antidote to his mind control? And why would he do that to the megashark?" Ferno crossed his arms.
"Upon further review of his formula and notes, it appears that the sharks on this planet can neutralize the mind control if injected with the base formula of this." Ferno pointed to the lower right screen. "My best guess is that he made a fail safe in case if the rest of the Kamekians accidently drank the water even if they use a purification system." Kanashimi was confused and rubbing her temples. "I don't fully understand it myself, like I said, its just a best guess."
Back outside, the megashark rushed at Rugai again, and swallowed him. Rugai stayed in the mouth area, after a quick survey, he put himself into a ball with his arms crossed, hands at his shoulders, then quickly straighten himself while causing a ki burst explosion big enough to take the megashark out. The resulting explosion scattered the sharks blood all throughout the sea, blanketing everything.
High in the air, Bull was testing his anti-gravity belt with Deena and Jeena within close proximity. Bull then fired one of his 'ki' blast higher into the air. After firing one, he made sure not to show the girls the pain it caused. "Aren't you done testing your new toys yet?" Jeena asks with some concern in her tone.
"Not yet. As an inventor, I must make notes and tweak what I built on the spot." Bull pulled out his all-purpose tool knife, and adjusted his augmented abilities. As Deena got closer, she saw on him a pale complexion and a cold sweat. Before she could speak up, Jeena grabbed her and pulled her back, then shook her head no. Deena looked down, and saw every part of the water turned a dark red. They called out to Bull, as he turned to them, he kept his depressed state as he slowly floated back on the ground. The moment Bull did, he sat on a rock and nearly passed out.
"Bull? Are you ok?" Jeena walked over, just in time to catch Bull before he fell over. Deena rushed to them, and grabbed the other side of Bull. "It'll be ok Bull, we'll take you back to the ship." Shortly afterwards, both girls flew back to the ship.
Couple hours passed...
Rugai was back in the research facility, standing in front of the tied up Kamekian. "You are going to tell us your name, and who funded this little project." Ferno cracked his knuckles, then got uncomfortably close to him.
"You think you can interrogate me?" The Kamekian laughed loudly. "You can't make me talk!" Rugai turned around, stopped by Kanashimi, then left the room. Moments later, Ferno exited the room.
"Why just her in there? I have every right to ask as well!" Ferno then punched the wall next to him.
"I don't like doing underhanded things, and I don't think you do either." Rugai sunk sinself to the ground.
"Yes, but why only her?" Ferno started pacing.
"I read her mind awhile back. She did things that I don't think she's proud of. But slowly she's warming up and not being that side she hates. Which is why she became a Super Saiyan." Ferno stopped pacing and stared at the door with sad eyes.
"I... I didn't know. Wait, you can read minds?"
"If I want to. Don't like to pry into every mind I see." During the conversation, Kanashimi was torturing the Kamekian with everything she can think of. An hour passed, and the Kamekian was scared out of his mind. She then got them both back in.
"Tell them what you told me." The Kamekian shook like crazy in his chair.
"I am called Tekkon, a Kamekian scientist working for the syndicate." Rugai stared at Tekkon fiercely angry.
"WHAT!?"
"Yes, the syndicate recruited me, and funded my revenge plan to take the Namekians out." Rugai greabbed Tekkon by the scruff of his neck, and pulled him closer.
"DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT LYC REALLY IS!? HE DOESN'T WANT TO DESTROY THE NAMEKIANS, HE WANTS TO RULE THE UNIVERSE!" Tekkon just looked at Rugai.
"How do you know our leader?" Rugai tightened his grip.
"Not important. Do you have ANY idea what Lyc is capable of even if you failed him?" Tekkon went silent. "Lyc doesn't care about you. All he wants is strong people who'll show no emotional weakness. You don't want to die for his useless cause."
"I'll die with honor. Like the new Saiyans he will bring back." Rugai released his grip, then he staggered out of the room. Kanashimi, guestured with her head for Ferno to leave.
At the loading bay, Rugai sat at the waters' edge with his head lowered and in his hands. "Something else you want to tell me?" Ferno leaned by the railing, arms crossed and looking at the wall.
"Lyc has fallen pretty hard since I last saw him. I knew he was arrogent, but this is borderline evil." Rugai looked up at the ceiling. "I mean, yes he was a jerk and didn't acknowledge me OR Jeena for that matter." Kanashimi then entered the bay.
"Lyc has, and always will be evil. I should know, I was a part of his click for awhile. If we meet that Corrynthia behemoth again, let me take her on. I don't enjoy getting knocked out by her." She sat next to Rugai, then stared at the water. "Lyc... believes that the strong must survive, while the weak perish. But after what I witnessed in you Rugai... this never leaves this room for what I'm about ti say. Rugai, you are the strongest Saiyan out there. You never take life for granted, and only fight when something precious to you is being hurt." She quickly turned her attention at them. "You tell anyone what I just said, I will kill you both." Both guys just nodded. Rugai looked back at the water.
"I'm hungry." Ferno and Kanashimi both 'suprised time' fell to the floor.
"Way to ruin a moment, Rugai."
Back on the ship...
Bull was resting in one of the beds. Jeena took extra care in his recovery. Both Greanne and Lizza quickly grabbed any items Jeena requested. "Will uncle Bull be ok, aunt Jeena?" Lizza just looked at her with a sad face.
"Of course he will be." Jeena smiled. "He's just very tired from working too hard. That's all." Lizza gave Jeena a hug, then quetly left the room.
"He is alright... isn't he?" Greanne had a saddened expression. "I mean, after he put those things on, he wasn't himself anymore."
"I ain't dead yet if thats what you're thinking." Bull struggled to get up. But Jeena pushed him back down.
"Sweetie, that thing you made, nearly killed you. Please don't wear them again." Bull just looked down for a second, then turned towards the wall and fell back asleep.
After some time had passed. Rugai, Kanashimi and Ferno returned to the ship and shedded their wet suits and breathing masks. "Seriously... You guys aren't hungry at all?" Rugai held his stomache in his arms.
"Just go eat! You complaining about your hunger annoys me." Kanashimi put her middle finger on her forehead and continuously rubbed a small circle while closing her eyes. Rugai pouted a bit, before running off towards the cafeteria.
Twenty four hours later...
Bull finished his modifications to the hover skiff. Rugai, Tenchu, Deena and Sanfan sat on both sides. "Take care of my students... Sorry guys, I know you don't really need any protection, but can't help from worrying."
"Are you kidding, the boy alone could take on an army." Rugai got an evil grin on hos face, then turned towards Bull.
"Didn't know you liked me that way." Rugai closed his eyes, put his hands on his cheeks then 'fake blushed' away from him. "But I'm spoken for. This cute face of mine will get me into trouble one day..." Almost everyone laughed at Rugai's little play. Bull rubbed his forehead with his left hand.
"Boy, I swear one day..." Bull started up the skiff and took off towards the closest village in the east.
Moments later, all five of them landed just outside the village. As they entered, every villager all rushed towards them. "I remember two of you. I apologize for the actions of myself and my people. Please forgive us." The elder sank to his knees, and bowed on the ground.
"Its not your fault. I certaintly don't blame you." Rugai extended his hand at the elder, Everyone nodded with Rugai and did the same thing, except Bull, he just sat on the skiff.
With forgiveness comes new friendships. And Rugai has made great friends on his journey, and befriending the Namekians will be one of his greatest treasures ever. Will the Earth fighters ever make it Pargonia and stop Lyc? Stay tuned to Dragon Ball NA
