Dragon Ball NA
Last time on NA: As Rugai took on the megashark, Kanashimi and Ferno interrogated the Kamekian who caused the Namekians to go evil through mind control. With new evidence of Lyc's treachery, and new friendships with the Namekians, Rugai and his friends enjoy their much needed downtime in their journey, and spent it wisely.
"I'm shocked that a Saiyan can forgive us so easily, much less talk with a living Saiyan." The elder was speaking to Rugai, Deena and Ferno seperately from the rest of Earth's best fighters.
"Our races' death was clearly untrue. Most of the children, from what I was told, survived our planet's destruction." Rugai sunk is head a bit, and looked at the ground. "I... saw its ending as I was being sent to Earth." Deena wrapped her right arm around him, trying to comfort him.
"What is wrong with him?" The elder showed great concerned for Rugai.
"He... had a traumatic experience. Ru still hadn't got over it." Deena then gave Rugai a kiss on the head.
"I see. I am sorry my friend." The elder got up, and went into his hut. When he returned a rough twenty minutes later, with an orb covered in what appears to be dark green cloth. "I do apologize for your hardship, my young lad. Open this, and you'll see something amazing." As Rugai opened up the cloth, an orange orb with two red stars featured in the middle.
"You guys also have these starred orbs?" Deena quickly turned to the elder.
"We call these Dragonballs. You guys must have seen a couple on Earth." The elder sat next to Rugai's right side.
"We have a couple. But we're able to hold them in one hand." Deena rolled the orb closer to Rugai. He then picked up the Dragonball in both hands.
"Your Earth must have a Namekian guardian that created your Dragonballs. There are seven in all. Once they're collected, any wish can be granted. Within the dragon's power that is." The elder then placed his hand on top of the Two Star ball. "Our dragon is named Porunga, it means love. And can grant three wishes." Just then Darryn walked up to them.
"Rugai, sir. I finished my repairs and slight upgrades on our ship. We'll be able to leave without any problems of planet Namek's electro-magnetic atmosphere this planet is producing." As Rugai got up, and gave Darryn a hug. then returned to the ship.
Three days passed...
Ferno, Rugai and Tenchu helped the Namekians till their fields. Kanashimi and Jeena, along with Deena and Sanfan, went to various villiages in hopes that they too are free of the mind control. Bull was furiously tinkering in his lab, new inventions to aid the Earth Fighters with personal weighted bands, stronger fabrics for new fighting clothing. As well as upgraded communications. Darryn's cybernetic, android body, was fine tuned to keep up with Rugai's Super Saiyan form... minus the conversion mode of personal cannons. Master Evelyn watched Lizza and Greanne as they played in the crystal clear waters. "Don't swim too far out kids. I'm not as young as I used to be."
Elsewhere, Sanfan and Deena touchdowned at the smallest village in the south western part of the planet. They saw ruins of an old city. Upon further exploration, more of the dilapitated city was poking out of the waters nearby and parts were exposed from the ground. "I wonder if this is where the Kamekians used to live. You know, before the bad blood and all." Sanfan's curiosity peaked as she saw an old drawing, faded by time, on a side of a pillar.
"Don't know, really. I mean it could be. Excited that you left to see other worlds?" Deena squatted next to Sanfan, and wiped some dust off the pillar, while trying to change the subject.
"Hell yea I am. I still can't believe that we've been traveling with four aliens amongst us. That... I'm still trying to wrap my head around." Sanfan saw what looked like a canister, nearly covered with rust on the exposed part. The non rusted side that was buried, had some strange writtings that she couldn't make out. The rusted side finally gave dissolved, revealing an ear piece, with a blue glass attatched to it.
"What did you find? Deena was also curious at the device. Sanfan put the device on.
"Whatever it is... it stays on after you put it on." Sanfan slid her hand from the ear piece part, to the screen. She accidently hit a button, and a circle covered the screen area Deena was on, with three triangles pointing at her from outside the circle. The device was displaying numbers in Earth's language with a 'PLvl' next to it. "Weird?" The numbers continued to climb into the four digits.
"What's weird?" Deena was even more confused. When the device was done, it made two quick beeping sounds, and showed Sanfan Deena's power level.
"I'm guessing this 'PLvl' means power level." Sanfan was shocked to see what Deena's current level of power is.
"What did it say?" Deena got closer, saw the screen and tried to read it backwards, but couldn't.
"According to this... thing, it says that you have a power level of 5'086." Sanfan took it off, and handed it to Deena. "Try it out. The button is in the middle of that thing." Sanfan handed Deena the device. Deena put it on and pressed the button, and scanned Sanfan.
"Weird. It says that you only have a power level of 500. I know you're much stronger than that." Sanfan gave Deena a big hug, then took the device and crushed it.
"My Tenchu taught me how to suppress my power, to fool my opponents into thinking that I'm weak. He also taught Rugai the same method. I'm surprised he didn't teach you."
Deena lowered her head, and held back tears. "I...I've been giving him some space after his talk with the elder that one day. I worry about him so much, and I'm afraid that I might lose him forever." Deena then fell to her knees and cried her eyes out.
Elsewhere on Pargonia...
"Master Lyc. Transmitter on the scouter intercepted a conversation from one on Namek." A Saiyan stood partly in the shadows, with his arms crossed.
"What did it say?" Lyc sat on a throne, with his left leg on the arm.
"They found the scouter we buried awhile back. Not only can they mask their Ki, but they mentioned your hated person." Lyc got up and smashed his throne
"So my sister ran crying to that weakling, hoping he might defeat me. She has disippointed me for the last time." Lyc walked out fiercely. The rest stayed behind.
"I don't know how long I can keep up this farce. Vivek, how do you feel about this.
"I thought following him would be for the best. But now, I think we made the wrong choice." Vivek stepped out of the shadows, and looked at the destroyed throne.
"Corrynthia is the only one who still believes him. Blind love always lead to ruin."
Back on Namek, twelve hours later...
The Earth Fighters gathered around the ruins Sanfan and Deena found, with a couple Namekian elders, talked about the bad history between the Ka and Namekians. Ferno spoke first. "Where are the Kamekians now?" The elders looked ar each other, then hesitantly responded.
"We appreciate what you did for us, Kamekian. But we can't let you find your people." Ferno got irritated, and tapped a finger on his arm.
"We're not trying to hide anything from you, its just that we lost them after entering the Necronic Nebula." The slightly overweight Namekian elder then coughed a bit.
"Elder Ooori. Why are we telling this Kamekian anything. Clearly he has ulterior motives wanting to find them." The nearly bony-thin elder leaned his cane on himself, while keeping a stern look at Ferno.
"Elder Seiru, don't misjudge our Kamekian friend. I believe he is smart enough not to head into the Necronic Nebula." Elder Ooori very gently placed his left hand on Seiru's back. Ferno stopped his finger tapping.
"Look, I'm not finding them to join in on whatever revenge they're trying to do. But since they disappeared in Necronic space, no way I'm finding them. Deena and I had to deal with some creature awhile back while those two..." Ferno pointed at Rugai and Tenchu. "Went into this badly damaged ship to save two young girls." Deena shook creepily when she rememberd the creature.
"That thing was so disgusting. I took a very long shower just to get that creepyness off me." Deena kept shuddering randomly whenever that image came up. Rugai placed his right arm around her waist.
"Necrosis hates the light." Rugai transformed into a Super Saiyan. "Which is why those creatures kept away from me. But facing the queen, she was not afraid. That's what troubles me." Rugai reverted back to his normal state. Elder Ooori lowered his head a bit.
"Weird. Necrosis don't usually keep survivors, yet it allowed to let two young girls live. This doesn't make sense, not at all." Elder Seiru sat on the ground and tried to solve the puzzle. "Honestly, Necrosis Nebula is still an unexplained system. Sadly, Super Saiyans don't grow on trees." Kanashimi huffed, then transformed briefly in front of everyone, then leaned against a piller.
As the rest of the week passed, our heroes spent their time helping the Namekians till their lands, and training with their strongest fighters. Rugai and few others learned more about the Dragon Balls and what they can do. Bull studied star charts, and the blackened section nicknamed the Nexus of Death. Darryn took water samples, making sure it was no longer contaminated. Jeena took blood samples from Lizza and Greanne, making sure they weren't infected by the creatures. Evelyn and Deena talked quietly just outside the ship. Then finally, the day of departure was upon them. All the Namekians gathered around the Earth Fighters' ship, everyone of them giving thanks to their saviors. The Namekians gained new tools for farming from Bull and Darryn, and in return, the Namekians taught them their native language.
Our heroes finally took off, and left their solar system. Their destination: Planet Argonia, for Jeena's reunion with her adopted mother. "Aside from the mind control, Namek was very peaceful." Sanfan sat on the floor in the cockpit.
"I agree, it looks so much like Earth, that I thought we were back on it." Tenchu chimed in.
"I have taken preemtive measures in case someone wanted to try and turn the Namekians again. Thanks to the data Mr. Ferno gathered, I was able to add various counter measures without taking away anything they need for survival." Darryn projected a 3D holigraphic display of his plan.
"Wow! I mean, awhile back, you were part of a ruthless army, wanting to take over the world. Now you are like me, wanting to help everyone in need." Rugai was in awe, that Darryn was a changed bot.
"I owe my rehabilitation to you sir Rugai. If you hadn't destroyed my body, Blackfist would try and re-aquired my limited freedom, and force me to be as you put evil." Rugai closed his eyes, and breathed quietly in relief.
"Pipe down and open up your ear holes. I've been looking at the charts, Argonia and Pargonia come close to each other, nearly colliding." Bull turned his chair at the others.
"That's the natural orbiting for those two planets. For three days, Argonia and Pargonia get close enough to simply 'hop over'... so to speak."
With the downtime on Namek, our heroes learned much from their Namekian friends. With heartfelt goodbyes, the Earth Fighters make their last leg of their journey to planets Argonia and Pargonia, and stop Lyc and his evil schemes. Stay tuned on the next Dragon Ball NA.
