Dragon Ball NA
Last time on NA: our heroes decided to spend the rest of the week resting and learning more about their Namekian friends. During one of their explorations, Deena and Sanfan discovered an old Kamekian ruins. Later, with the knowledge of two Namekian elders, the Earth Fighters got new information not only about the Kamekians, but also on Necronian Space. With planet Argonia in sight, Rugai and the others finish their preperations on their biggest fight yet. Right now, on Dragon Ball NA.
"Hold on to your sphincters people, we're coming in hot!" The ship Rugai and the others' are in, was being shot at by missiles and cannon fire from Argonia's planetary defenses. "Princess, why hasn't your so-called 'code' work?!" Jeena was strapped tightly on a chair in the infirmary. Lizza and Greanne held each others' hands on the last two chairs.
"It should have worked. They wouldn't purposely change my password after I left the planet. It was unique only too me." The ship shook violently after a missile hit them. Rugai, Tenchu and Kanashimi tried to make their way to the nearest airlock. They kept hitting the wall and floor after each explosion.
"I've tried multiple times to inout Ms. Jeena's password. All attempts failed, however, I am attempting to remote hack planet Argonia's network and remotely shut down its defenses." Darryn used most of his processing power to hack, while dodging missiles and cannon fire.
"Better hurry, shield power is at 18%, and dropping fast with each hit!" Bull re-routed non essential power to the shields, but each attempt failed. Meanwhile, Rugai and the other two put their space suits on and took positions around the cockpit.
"Just fly towards the planet! We'll take on the defenses!" Tenchu then put his hands forward and gathered energy, Rugai positioned himself to launch a Kamehameha wave, while Kanashimi put her hands together by pushing her thumb sides together. Then all three launched their attack, destroying a barrage of missiles and cannon fire being sent at them. All three of them readied their attacks again, and fired with each wave being sent towards our heroes.
Their ship finally landed on Argonia's nearly destroyed spaceport, and everyone disembarked. Bull and Darryn immediately surveyed the damage the 'welcome wagon' gave them. "I detect severe damage in the cargo hold and various parts of the ship, I have concluded that if those three hadn't done what they did, none of us would have survived our planetary landing in one piece." Bull put his left hand behind his head and scratched it a few times before getting annoyed at the repairs he would be doing.
"This will take forever to fix. and don't have enough spare parts to fully repair at least half the ship." Darryn then placed his hand on Bull's shoulder, while still looking at the ship.
"I kept a synchronization link to the ship, master Bull. And I can gather the necessary components and parts we will need to fully repair and upgrade this ship back to 100%" Bull's mind immediately raced with new ideas to improve the ship.
"Jeena, when will the two planets come together?" Rugai spoke up.
"We still got about a couple days. Taking that shortcut really helped." Bull finally turned around after a quiet chat with Darryn.
"Bot-head here says he can handle finding the spare parts." Darryn turned his head, and gave a thumb up with a slight grin. Rugai took almost everyone with him, leaving their master Evelyn and the two young girls behind to help Bull repair the ship.
A short time later...
Rugai and the others landed at what was a citadel, now layed in ruins like the rest of the planet. Jeena fell onto her knees, and started to cry. Deena and Ferno each placed their hands on her shoulders, saying absolutely nothing to try and calm her down. When Jeena raised her head, a figure slowly walked out of the ruined citadel, limping with the cane on her right side and missing her left arm and left eye. "I may have lost half my eye sight, but there's someone that I see oh so well." Jeena went pale at a familiar sight, she slowly got up and stumbled towards her.
"Lady... Freya... I missed you so much." Jeena finally hugged Freya near tightly, and cried uncontrollably on her chest. Freya leaned her cane on herself, before putting her hand on Jeena's back slowly rubbing it.
"There, there child. I'm just glad that you're safe, and you made friends it seemed. I'm so proud of you, miss Jeena." Freya and Jeena released their grasps with each other, Jeena then wiped her tears away., and pulled Rugai closer.
"This was the guy I told you about, his name is Rugai, and he is my best friend for a long time." She then told Freya her other friends and the story of after her departure from and returning trip from Argonia. Freya smiled at them.
"It warms my heart to see that you made strong friends, young one." Freya slowly sat on the steps then took a few moments to catch her breath. "A month after you left, a ship from Pargonia, landed not too far from here." Freya pointed at what was a temple and the pathway leading to it. "Five guys with tails, probably Saiyans, and an Amazonier came out and started to destroy buildings and my people. One of them stood on top of the ship, laughing as he demanded our surrender. Naturally, our strongest fighters tried to take them on, but the Amazonier easily killed them with her finger." Rugai, Tenchu and Kanashimi quickly glanced at each other, and hoped it wasn't who they thought it was.
"By any chance, was her name Corrynthia?" Freya nodded at their question.
"She outclassed our warriors without batting an eyelash. he turned to the guy standing on the ship, called him 'beloved Lyc'. Always asking if she did good by his standards." Rugai clenched his fists, and started to get mad at what he was hearing. Ferno just looked at him for a second, before turning his attention back at Freya.
"So this Lyc guy..." He paused as he was trying to find the right words to say. "What does he get for doing this to your planet? I mean, I can't think of anything that I know of that's worth taking." Jeena and Freya quickly looked down.
"There is actually, Mr. Ferno. Freya told me about it sometime after I got here the first time. Argonia has a special item that can break a person's natural potential. Shattering any internal walls to make someone really strong. But it comes at an extremely high price." Jeena turned and looked at everyone. "It will cause the wearer to lose him/herself, and increase whatever personality the wearer has dominating. If my brother has it, then he will become nearly impossible to beat." Jeena got really depressed, and started to cry again. Rugai got closer, and hugged Jeena tightly.
"I will stop Lyc, even if it kills me. You don't have to keep calling Lyc your brother, not anymore. I'll be your brother, ok?" Rugai leaned back, and saw Jeena smile whilst still crying, she nodded her head and pressed herself back on him. Deena was happy that Rugai did a great deed for her now sister.
Day and a half later...
Rugai was too anxious to try and sleep, so he sat on a large building chunk that landed in a field. Kanashimi quietly walked up next to him, and sat on the grassy area. "Going to kill Lyc?" Rugai slightly lowered his head.
"I don't know. I really don't want to, and I don't want it to be a last resort either." Kanashimi smacked Rugai on his leg.
"Look, you are a Saiyan for crying out loud. Death brings honor to our kind, whether its by our hands or in battle. Lyc isn't the type to say 'You bested me, I'll change my ways' kind of guy. He favors power, respond with your power. Show him that YOUR power can make the difference." Rugai slightly turned his head at her.
"Killing isn't my thing." Rugai got depressed. Kanashimi punched him in his leg.
"I don't care if killing isn't 'your thing'." She then got up and turned around. "Look, sometimes doing something you don't like to do, is your only option. Ever since I lost to you, I tried to learn everything about you so I can defeat you some day. But lately, you put yourself constantly on the line and gotten way stronger than I could imagine. You'll continue to reach new levels in power that I can't within my lifetime. Your Saiyan pride, is your compassion, push that aside when facing that jerk Lyc." Kanashimi then walked away, leaving Rugai to his thoughts.
Deena and Tenchu saw and heard Kanashimi's speech to Rugai. Tenchu knew that her words rang true, but he knows Rugai just as much as Deena does, and believes that Rugai won't kill Lyc after throwing away his pride. "Dee, we better get some rest. We will be busy tomorrow."
Rugai and the others were fully prepared for their trip to Pargonia. He wore his black Gi suit, boots and fingerless gloves. As did Tenchu and Deena. Jeena wore Deena's old battle armor, while Kanashimi and Ferno wore their outfits. Everyone nodded to each other, then flew towards Pargonia.
It didn't take them long to reach the other planet. When they got there, destruction and lifeless bodies littered nearly every inch of the city. Rugai headed towards land, just a block away from where Lyc's group is at. Four of the Saiyans, and Corrynthia witnessed a familiar person, and kept up the act of hating him. "LYC! SHOW YOURSELF!" Everyone was shocked that Rugai was so demanding. A laughter was heard from the P.A. system.
"So, the disgraced weakling of the Saiyan race thinks he can demand my presence." Laughter gotten louder, Corrynthia chuckled lightly while the other four Saiyans just stood there with their arms crossed. "You are beneath my worthy, you pathetic weakling. Go cower in a corner and watch as the true Saiyans become masters of the universe."
"Corrynthia believes in master Lyc's power. Corrynthia will follow master Lyc for the rest of her life." The four Saiyans stood silent still. Rugai got irritated more.
"Brother! Please show yourself, I beg of you!" Jeena pleaded for Lyc to show himself, which worked. The ship's aft airlock opened, Lyc emerged and slowly floated down in front of his group. Corrynthia clasps her hands together and looked at him with love in her eyes.
"Sister, have you reconsidered by joining the new Saiyan race? You are always welcomed here, dear sister." Jeena's eyes went wide as she saw the armband Lyc is wearing on his upper arm. "I see you noticed my spoils from Argonia, dear sister. With this, I can rule without equal." Jeena covered her mouth and gasps with fear in her tone. Lyc laughed maniacally.
