"What?!" Louds cries of surprise rang out through the train terminal as the grounds of Fairy Tail Mage all gathered with the younger mages all staring wide-eyed at the three older mages.
"You heard us from this point on. We will be breaking up into three groups, as one of us older mages will take two of your younger ones to separate training areas." Romeo's voice carried out across the group as he gestured to each of his two companions, who immediately approached the younger ones.
Asuka's hands locked on Nati and Isaul's shoulders as she began hauling the two away as they resisted.
"You brats are with me. Let's go!" Her loud voice echoed down the terminal as the three departed swiftly.
Wendy gently approached Allia and Zeke
Her quiet voice drew the two's attention. Allia deflated a little when she discovered who would be teaching them, the pink-haired girl being the only one who was overjoyed with the training plans.
"You two are with me. Come on, before the train leaves, we can't. Waste too much time"
With that, Wendy promptly began making her way in the opposite direction of Asuka. Her trainees chased after her as they waved to their remaining companions.
As the other two teachers took their student, Romeo smiled reassuringly at the remaining students.
"Lexi, Yuji, you two are with me. Let's get a move on, okay?"
Yuji nodded dimly as he moved to stand next to Romeo, who moved toward the bench where Lexi sat, her head resting comfortably atop the seat. Only for her nose to twitch slightly as she let out a groan of protest as Romeo held a small yellow flame to her nose.
"All right, let's go. We can't afford to miss the train."
As Lexi's eyes jerked open to gaze sharply at him, Romeo just offered her another smile. As Lexi begrudgingly forced herself up from her resting post.

Boom!
Magical Explosions rain down across the open field of Tenrou Island as magical bullets explode around two beat up mages.
Isaul and Natli found themselves cornered their backs to the tree line as Asuka stood across from them, both younger mages panting heavily as bruises and tear littered their clothes.
"Come on, you two, is that all you got thought you were supposed to be the best" the older mage taunted them. As a hail of bullets assaulted the pair, with Asuka standing at a distance.
Both teens spared a glance at each before both seemingly came to a shared decision. Both raised their hands, locking eyes with Asuka.
"We yield!"

Lighting Dragon Roar!
Bolts of light sparked across the Golden sands, slamming into a wall of flames as embers and sparks fluttered through the air.
"Too direct, not enough power. Try harder."
Romeo's voice echoed across the beach towards the battered blonde Lexi, whose ever calm expression was beginning to shift towards one of frustration. As Romeo continued to evade her attacks before returning fire with a blazing fireball which exploded near the girl's feet, forcing her to roll away as she was caught up in the blast and sent tumbling forward.
Chariot!
A flash of light appeared behind Romeo as his sentence finished as Yuji's form materialized, lashing out with a heavy kick aimed at the flare mage's head. Romeo spun away effortlessly, dodging the attack before slamming a flaming palm into the younger male's side. The force launched Yuji a large distance away.
The two younger mages rose, coated in sand and burns, and stared at Romeo, who looked at them calmly and confidently.
"I hope you're not giving up just yet." "You have a lot to learn."

Mountain Plateau
Atop the elevated stones sat a group of three, Wendy locks of blue blowing with the wind as the young women stared down at the two below.
Some distance behind her, two companions lay about, both battered and bruised, as they seemed to struggle to stand.
Wendy gently smiled and turned to greet them as both let out groans of pain.
"Have you two recovered yet, Zeke? Allia?"
The two youngsters began pushing themselves up from their prone position. Both wearing mirrored expressions of determination. As they leveled their gaze at the Sky Dragon Slayer.
Alia's haggard voice breaking across the raging wind accompanied by Zeke's heavy spoken breath.
"Of course not. I'm blazing with excitement here."
"It's not every day you get to spar with. The strongest mage in the guild. There is no way we are going to quit here."
With that, the two mages let loose a burst of magic power propelling themselves toward the Sky dragon alight with flames and ice. The two crashing into the raging wind coming towards them.

"What the hell, Laxus? How come Wendy and Romeo get to the kids? I'm a much better teacher?"
"Can't believe I'm agreeing with Salamander, but for real I can teach my kid how to use their magic better than the mini flame brain."
Laxus could not help but sigh as the two Dragon Slayers continued to question his decision.
Mira giggling at his side.
"Relax you two, I know you miss them, but Romeo and Wendy are very capable, you know that."
Both Dragon Slayer seem to flush slightly at Mira jab as Laxus continued for her
"She's right and you don't have to worry. I have a job for a few of you parents, so you won't even have time to be jealous."

Evening
Allia collapsed to the ground and the surge of wind shot across the battlefield, slamming into Zeke and sending him craning to the ground. His frame slammed harshly into the ground before bouncing once more and sliding into a nearby boulder.
A small sigh left Wendy's lips as the two younger mages slumped to the ground, both unconscious.
"Seems like that's the end of that they can't take anymore. "
The sky dragon's shoulders visibly slumped as she made her way across the field, falling to her knees next to her two charges' prone forms as a green light enveloped her hands as their wounds slowly began to fade.
"Honestly, I don't understand what Ro was thinking about when he assigned me to train these two. I'm not very good at teaching others, only myself."
The sky dragon bemoaned her boyfriend's decision to have her instruct the two younger wizards alone, as she sighed in frustration.
The wounds on the unconscious mages continued to fade as the blue-haired healer continued to contemplate Romeo's plan. She had never had a proper teacher and was all self-taught, so what could she really teach these two?
Wendy hadn't a clue as to what Romeo was basing this on, but she would try her best for the guild.
Allia and Zeke both let out groans of pain as they returned to the realm of consciousness, and the green glow rapidly left her palm.
"I hope you two are ready for the next round. We still have plenty of time before we quit for the day."
As Wendy attempted to reassure her charges, two mirrored expressions of fear flooded their faces.
As they shakily forced themselves to stand, both of their recently healed wounds began to pulse.
The Two shared a knowing look between the two as they both had one thought.
We're going to die.

Evening
Romeo and his two trainees gather around a small campfire in the Outskirts of a land known as Mildian.
His two companions were both nursing wounds from their earlier sparring match while Romeo himself hadn't a scratch.
"Romeo-sempai, couldn't you have gone easier on us?" Yuji whined out.
As his blonde hair partner slumped to the ground in a familiar sleeping position.
The older mage couldn't help but chuckle to himself at his two young companions' familiar actions despite the bruises. Thus, reassuring the older mage that things were well.
"If I did that, you two wouldn't improve very much, you know."
Hearing that, Yuji couldn't help but sigh as he fell to his back to stare up at the night sky as the stars began peaking around the clouds.
"I suppose that's true, but why exactly have we traveled to this ghost town?"
Yuji's question seemed to have caught Lexi's attention as her eyes peered open to stare at the older male.
Her soft voice spoke up as well, joining Yuji.
"I'm curious as well. Why didn't we just stay with everyone else and do like some group training?"
Letting his eyes drift up to stare at the sky as well, Romeo slowly responded to the questions directed at him.
"To answer your first question, I figured breaking you 6 into specific groups would be the most efficient. Both Wendy and Asuka also believed that a group training would be enough to prepare you all"
Yuji piped in, followed closely by Lexi, who pushed herself into a sitting position as she leaned towards the older rage, her interests seeming to peek alongside Yuji.
"Then why did you break us up? "
Romeo could not help but flash the young man a grin as he pushed himself up to stand and slowly began making his way over to the two.
Before gently resting his hand atop their hands.
"Because I don't want you all to just settle for being prepared."
"I want you all to excel and show them all at the Grand Magic Games why Fairy Tail is the best guild in Fiore."
Rubbing their heads slightly as he moved past the two, gesturing to the decayed town before them.
"And this place is going to help you two in particular, so you better rest up because we're going to be busy tomorrow."

Night
The two younger mages accompanying Asuka collapsed at the location of Fairy tail base camp on Tenrou. The tiring trek from the beach to the camp alongside their injuries from their earlier contest drained the two completely as they fell face first into the dirt.
Above them stood Asuka, who flashed them a bright smile.
"Well done, you two. You made it to camp. Nice job."
Nati pushed herself up, her forearms visibly shaking as they struggled to hold her up. As she leveled a glare at the gunslinger.
"Why didn't you tell us where the camp was or, better yet, bring us here?"
Isaul joined his companion in the glaring before adding his own input as well.
"I concur at the very least you could of gave us some bandages for these injuries. You weren't gently earlier."
As the two continued to glare at her, Asuka could not help but let out a loud snort before falling into laughter. Which continued for several moments. During which her two trainees' arms finally gave out as they fell to the ground.
Eventually settling down a bit, Asuka crouched down to lock eyes with the two weary mages.
"Why would I do that? What kind of training would this be if I made it easy for you two?"
The teacher's wide grin seemed to have taken on a frightening aura as the two younger wizards could not help but draw back as they peered into her eyes.
"You better shape up, punks, or else you're going to really be in some trouble. Your week of hell is just beginning."

End of chapter
And done finally man, this took so much longer to do than I thought because I had two different directions. I wanted to go with this training arc and could not decide what to do. Writer block sucks.
Anyway, with this settled, I should be far quicker to come with the next chapters, as the next three will be focusing on each group and their adventure.
Until Next Time
