Author's Note: THANK YOU for being so paitent everyone. i feel so horrible at how long it has taken me to get these updates out. I was hospitalized recently and have been very ill with some ER visits since as well as dealing with some family stuff. I also had to get a new charger cord for my computer for some reason... Anyway I am really hoping that 2014 is a better year. Now I am going to do my best to make sure that I update a lot more often than I have.

I am actually glad to announce that I have been able to write the chapters real fast... This may not be my best chapter but I wanted to get something out to you, so i wrote this one in less than 30 minutes last night. Please read and review and I will do my best to give you stuff to read a lot more often.

Thanks all my loyal readers and reviewers! You ROCK!

Chapter 48

Two days after asking Emma about seeing her family, Jordan was still super confused on what the next course of action should be for her. She wanted to see some old pictures of herself, she wanted to ask them questions about herself, she wanted to trigger a memory, but Emma had made it clear that her family hated Jeff so badly that they were willing to go as far as create false pictures and false documents to make sure the lies they told had something backing them. Jordan had a feeling her husband was a great and wonderful guy. She wasn't sure what she should do, and Emma had urged her to sit down with Jeff, because even though Emma was her best friend, she didn't know the whole story about what had happened and Jeff did.

So finally after making herself cause a super migraine, Jordan walked over to her husband that she couldn't remember and sat down across from him. She could tell that he was ready to help her, anyway she might want and that was comforting to her. He really was being sweet about this, not pushing her for anything and not making her do anything that made her feel uncomfortable. They had, had dinners alone, their own dates basically, where they would talk and laugh and it was during those dates that Jordan had really seen why she was married to Jeff, why she had given birth to his son, she really had started falling in love with him all over again and she was so happy that she had such an amazing and understanding husband.

"Jeff…" She started and then stopped. She knew this was a sore subject with him and it was making her nervous to bring it up at all.

"It's all right Jordan. Anything you feel you need to ask or talk about, please honey, I want you to feel free to do it." Jeff said keeping his voice soft and sending her a big smile.

"All right. Why does my family hate you so much? I keep feeling like if I see them I might be able to trigger some of my childhood memories, which might help, but even keeps telling me they are bad news and that they manipulate things to look the way they want them to look and that right now, it wouldn't be a good idea to go there." Jordan asked and then explained, biting her lower lip nervously.

"Jordan, your family never had a reason to hate me, it was something that confused us. They thought I wasn't good enough for you, they wanted to choose someone to be in your life, for you to marry and have loads of kids with. They didn't like that I encouraged you to stay in the wrestling field if that was what you wanted and they certainly didn't like how I didn't look like every normal guy out there. The fact that I dye my hair and that I have so many tattoos made them upset and made them believe I was the worst sort of guy for their daughter and sister to hang out with. They actually started choosing other men for you to be with. They tried to say I was brainwashing you and that I kidnapped you and raped you repeatedly. They tried several things to break us up, but in the end all they did was push you away. You were so devastated by what they were doing, the lies they were telling. They tried to hire someone to take you away from me, someone that could try and sway you against me, but I was there and I got in the way, that was when I was shot the first time." Jeff said looking down, so much pain in his voice and written on his face.

"It's all right, you don't have to keep telling me about them." Jordan said immediately, seeing how much it was hurting him to remember.

"No, it's all right. You deserve to know everything Jordan and you deserve the truth. If I try and say that I can't or won't talk about it, that won't help you. I am terrified you are going to go to them and they are going to have some big story about me or you or something else. I am terrified they will have an actress or someone else ready that they paid to lie to you about something. I am so terrified they will have some pictures they doctored, papers they had made or something else they will have and I will lose you forever because you won't remember the things they are so good at doing." Jeff said, his voice was shaking at that point. "You and my son are my whole world. When those people had taken you, I was barely functioning if I was functioning at all. I couldn't sleep, eat or work, I couldn't do much of anything but sit around and think about how scared you must be, and imagine the horrible things that would be happening to you. I felt so helpless and useless and now, now I am just terrified that the only way to help you is to lose you to those monsters who never wanted me to be your husband or the father of your children."

Jordan could see everything in his eyes. He wanted to help her, wanted her to have the closure she felt like she needed but he was terrified that helping her get that closure could cost him the woman he loved and the son he adored. Jordan was so confused and so torn up. She didn't know what was best, should she go and see the family that everyone had clearly told her was so manipulating and so good at what they did that they could make witnesses and documents and photographs show what they wanted them to show, just to get some answers about a childhood she might not want to remember anyway, and there was the whole problem. What if not remembering her childhood and her family was a gift? What if she was supposed to be given a clean slate to fall in love with her husband all over again? What if she was supposed to give him a chance to make her feel the way she did before?

She knew it wouldn't be hard to love Jeff, mainly because he was right there and so ready to be the man she needed. He was an amazing father and she could see how much he loved his son and how much he truly did love her. Should it be enough that she knew how bad things were with her family? Shouldn't her husband and newborn son be all she needed to get through this hard time and to try and remember just her life with Jeff before or would it just be better to try and start fresh and only make new memories, not bothering to trigger the old ones? She didn't know what she should do or what her next move should be, and she was in a world that terrified her completely, and she didn't know why.

They were all set. As soon as Jordan was ready to come home to them they had everything in place to make sure she never wanted to leave. They would make sure that their little girl and their grandson were ready for the new life they could help them get. They were already looking into which man would be an amazing stepfather to their grandson and an amazing husband to their daughter. They couldn't wait until Jeff Hardy was completely out of their lives and out of the life of their daughter and their grandson. They figured they could make sure that the new man was listed on a brand new birth certificate as the father and Jeff had no rights to that little boy, they could make sure Jeff soon saw that it would have been best if he had just walked away a long time ago, before there was a marriage or baby, because now he would have to see another man with his soon to be ex wife and he would lose his son to another man, who would become the father Jeff could never be to that little boy. They were going to make sure this little boy, had a father to be proud of and their daughter lived in the type of home she needed.

They were putting so many things together to make it look clear to their daughter that her husband and all of those people that she thought were her friends, were only lying people who wanted to keep her away from her family, who only looked out for her best interests. They weren't going to give up, because now they knew that this was gift and soon their daughter would be right where she belonged and they would be able to see Jeff Hardy, broken and hurting over everything and seeing that his wife and son, were no longer his at all. This was all going to be so perfect and they couldn't wait till their plan came together and it would soon.

"Soon my little Jordan, soon you and our grandson will be right where you belong and Jeff Hardy will be all alone and never allowed near our grandson. Everything will happen soon." Jordan's mother said as she smiled at her husband. Something was finally going their way.
