Dragon Ball NA
Last time on NA: Our heroes welcomed back Darryn, Kanashimi and the rest of their Saiyan friends. However, with heavy hearts in their hearts, their search for Rugai didn't go well. Days passed and he mysteriously returned to his wife and friends, and a tearful reunion nearly overwhelmed them.
Two days later...
Rugai, his friends and the Saiyans flew off to Qube Corp. to Surprise Jeena, Bull and the rest of the Earth Fighters there. Bull and his family stood outside. The shock from everyone there, nearly floored them. "Well I'll be a monkey's uncle. No pun intended." Bull cracked a half-hearted smile. "So what's with the goatee?" Rugai lightly stroked it.
"It's all part of my story. Just as soon as everyone gets here." He then looked at the direction where Mt. Paos is, then chuckled with a half smile. "Speaking of..." Deena, Tenchu and the Saiyans saw the aura of Kanashimi's Super Saiyan mode, rushing towards him. crash landed a few feet away, then lunged at Rugai with a strong right hook to the face. Rugai blocked with a single finger. Kanashimi sent a flurry of punches and kicks at him. Rugai kept blocking with his finger at an insane speed. Everyone couldn't believe that Rugai's speed surpassed the level of Super Saiyan, Vivek stood closer to Tenchu.
"Is it me, or did Rugai attained a new level in power?" Tenchu is still dumbfounded by the sparring that is happening. "Yea, thought so too." Kanashimi rapidly teleported high above Central City, and powered up to her maximum level. She then put her left hand gut level pointed up and to the right in a claw-like state, while her right hand was positioned low chest also in a claw-like state pointing down. Sparks of lightning like energy quickly shot out from the sides and front of her hand positions, an extremely dark blue, almost black-like energy gathered between her hands. Soon, the ball of energy was half her hand size, but three times powerful enough to level a modern age continent.
"For YEARS I've awaited for your return! So much sleep was lost because I had to find your worthless hide! Take you on in your weakened state and claim the title of ruler of the Saiyans! Now... I've witnessed your newfound strength first hand... SUCK ON THIS..." She quickly raised her hands over her head, then with the same speed, launched her attack at Rugai. "DESOLATION BOMB!" It flew fast, Rugai cracked his head to the right. He extended his hand, and fired just a simple Ki blast at her attack. His blast hit her attack, but instead of both getting destroyed, his redirected her attack high into the sky. Once her attack safely left Earth's orbit, it blew up, leaving an aurora borealis effect covering the world. Kanashimi was beyond stunned, to her, it felt like the she hit an indestructable wall high enough that she couldn't pass.
"If you are done, I would like to get caught up with everyone since the battle with Lyc!" He then turned to everyone that was behind him. "And believe me, I have stories to tell." Kanashimi then let out a frustrated grunt, then Dragon Dashed to the ground. Everyone went inside, and headed to the garden.
"So what happened after Pargonia and Argonia's destruction?" Rugai turned away and took in the sight of Sol's garden. "We used the Namekians' Dragon Balls to revive you, but he said you weren't dead. C'mon bro, tell us please." Tenchu held Sanfan's hand tightly. Rugai took a couple steps, then turned around.
"In a sense, I went to the other side." Everyone got seriously confused. "The planets were too far apart for me to reach Argonia, and somehow I knew that you guys were safely away. I frantically searched the wreakage of Lyc's ship to find something to get me off the Pargonia. When that failed, I flew fast and hard just to get to Argonia. Halfway, both exloded, and somehow ripped a hole big enough to send me to the other side. Spent a couple weeks in recovery, had a small chat with King Yenma there, then hee sent me down Snakeway. Took me nearly a year to get to the end, spent a couple years training under King Kai of the North Quadrant, I'm still clueless on that. Learned some new abilities from him, and finished taking out the syndicate tha Lyc started and was then reformed after his death." Everyone but Darryn and Kanashimi was stunned at his story.
"Why didn't you return after the syndicate's defeat? Or rather, after your training with this 'King Kai' person?" Darryn's questions snapped everyone out of their stunned state.
"King Kai's training, took nearly three years. For the last three, was testing out a couple new abilities." Rugai put two fingers in the middle of his forehead, then instantly vanished from their eyes. Seconds later, he returned with a small statue not seen on Earth. "This is one of my favorite abiities, its called Instant Transmission." Kanashimi scuffed a bit.
"So you can move in super speed. Big friggin deal. You're still holding back on us." Rugai half cocked a smile.
Elsewhere...
King Yenma was in the middle of sending souls to either heaven or hell when something shook the check-in station violently. "What was that!?" One of the attendants ran in right afterwards.
"Sir, we have an escape from hell!" King Yenma quickly got out of his chair, causing it to fall on the floor.
"WHAT! WHO ESCAPED FROM HELL!?" The attendand that crawled in, got up and dusted himself off.
"Two people escaped. The Saiyan Lyc, and the cyborg Blackfist. They forced open a portal and is heading to Earth." King Yenma pulled out a hankerchef, roughly the size of a large towel, and wiped his brow.
"We have to inform Rugai. Take the express rocket to King Kai, and have him relay the breakout." Without delay, the attendant rushed outside. seconds later, the roar of the rocket flew down snakeway at an alarming speed.
Back on Earth...
The Earth Fighters and the Saiyans feasted on Sol's cooking, just enjoying the happiest of reunions. However, Kanashimi, Darryn and Ferno didn't partake in the festivities and kept their distance. "So what was it like on the otherside? I mean, is that what will become of us when we die?" Sanfan sat with her sleeping son Tenchi's head on her lap.
"Looks like it, but like I said before, some people can keep their bodies under special circumstances. King Yenma didn't tell me what they were." Just then, an unexpected visitor showed up out if nowhere, holding a crystal ball like a basketball player.
"Thats because of situations like this. King Yenma has to keep the balance of good and evil. If everyone knows that secret, it'll be the end if all existance." Nearly everyone jumped at the intruder.
"Hey Saba. What brings you here?" Those that jumped at him, turned their heads at Rugai with eyes nearly out of their sockets.
"I forseen a couple events that's going to happen. Here shortly, North Kai will telepathy-chat with you and your friends. And secondly: in five years time, a race of Were-Lygers will challenge the world for conquest rights." Rugai lowered his head, after setting down his food.
"Well that sucks." Rugai got up, walked over to Saba, and shook his hand. "Its been great seeing you again. Tell dad that I miss sparing with him, and tell Tenchi his brother misses him." Tenchu and Deena's jaws went slack. Saba chuckled a bit.
"Of course. Good bye everyone." Saba waved farewell, let his crystal ball float slightly above the ground, placed his left foot on the ball, while his right foot was positioned behind his left with his hands behind his back. Then floated off into the sky, then disappeared.
"Story... Now!" Kanashimi grabbed Rugai's shirt, pulling him closer to her.
"Ok, ok. I met Saba at King Kai's planet soon after I underwent his training. He kept me informed about all of your lives, and gave me my reunion with my father. I even helped him take care of his problem here on Earth. I'm pretty sure Ferno sensed me the second I returned here." Everyone looked at Ferno. Ferno only nodded at Rugai's statement. "After taking care of Saba's problem, I was back in Other World, resuming my training." Kanashimi released her hold on Rugai, punched him as hard as she can on his chest, then walked away.
"Can you hear me Rugai?" Rugai smiled, then looked up.
"Hey King Kai. What's up?" Everyone heard King Kai's voice and looked up as well.
"First, I would like to extend my greetings to Rugai's friends. Normally I would break the ice with a joke. But a very, extremely serious matter to tell you all. Lyc and the cyborg Blackfist escaped from Hell and is out to get you Rugai." Rugai's expression went a new shade of pale.
"What!? How!?" The Saiyans looked at the Earthlings for an explination about who is Blackfist. Tenchu looked at them, and slightly shook his head no.
"Seems they found a hidden tunnel. If a dead person crosses over to the living world, chaos would ensue, and will end everything on both sides permenantly." Everyone also went the new pale complexion.
"How long before the oblivion starts?" Rugai lowered his head.
"If they aren't stopped in one week. Oblivion." Everyone sat on the ground, few held their heads in their hands. "Still with me?" Rugai regained his composure, slapped himself in the face a couple times.
"Sorry King Kai. We are just beyond shocked at the oblivion 't worry, I'll take care of them again." Tenchu put his right hand on Rugai's left shoulder.
"I'm going as well. As well as the Saiyans." Rugai turned towards them. They were eager to see Lyc again.
"We have some choice words to say to our former king." The larger, mostly silent Saiyan, finally spoke openly. Bull tossed Rugai a Qube.
"Wardrobe Qube. With additional information Bot-head brought me, that can create or improve whatever you are wearing." Rugai smiled at him.
"After all these years, you still think about me that way. Sorry sweetcheeks, I'm spoken for." The Saiyans were laughing, nearly busted a gut.
"Whatever. Go save the world, or existence, or whatever threat is happening." Bull turned towards Darryn.
"I have absolutely no connections to Blackfist anymore. I want to preserve life now." Rugai walked over to Darryn, and hugged him.
Oblivion!? As Lyc and Blackfist make their way to Earth, Rugai's group begin their preperations to prevent the ultimate catastrope from happening. Can they stop them in time? Find out next time on Dragon Ball NA.
