After the collapse of Casita, the Madrigals find Mirabel dead. Tensions soon spark through the family from past trauma and they find themselves drifting apart from each other. But when Mirabel comes back as a spirit, she realizes that she might be able to help heal her family. However, she realizes her time is running out and begins to question if her family needs her anymore.

5. Story Announcement

Hey guys. Let me explain what's happened.

To be short, I got so wrapped up in the views and the likes that I forgot why I was writing this story. To have fun and make an interesting and compelling story. But I let success get to my head and I put too much pressure on myself to make the story perfect.

But let me ease your fears and tell you that this story is not dead. I have been thinking about it and where to take it this last month, and because I didn't work at it at ALL for a couple of months, I need some time to figure this story out.

So with that, this story is going on a one month hiatus while I work in the background. I need the time to reorient myself to tell the story I want to tell. And a lot of changes are going to be made, from replacing chapters and major edits.

And I might start posting sooner if I feel like I figured the story out.

But I will not exceed one month. I promise that fanfiction writers' promises have little worth, but for all the little worth that is there, I promise to bring the story back on August 3rd.

And I want to say thank you to all those who have messaged me about where the story is and your love for it. You guys who love it mean everything to me.
