Dragon Ball NA
Last time on NA: A joyus reunion when Rugai returned to Earth. Kanashimi tested her strength against him, only a loss went into her record. Grimm news then was told by a friend Rugai met in Other World by the name of Saba. Now they have one week to stop Lyc and Blackfist or oblivion will happen. Can they succeed? Rugai, Tenchu and Ferno flew towards the abandoned base of the Black Fist Organization. The Saiyans flew off into various directions, looking for Lyc. "I get the whole 'revenge' thing both Blackfist and Lyc want against you. But why break out of Hell?" Tenchu asked Rugai.
"That..." Rugai paused a moment to think about it. "I don't know. Even they didn't know about the oblivion outcome when they went through. This is so frustrating!" Rugai interlocked his fingers behind his head, and groaned loudly.
Elsewhere...
Vivek landed just outside West City. As he looked, he felt nothing out of the ordinary. Same scenario for the other Saiyans who either landed outside a major city or village. However, Kanashimi and Darryn carefully checked locations that seemed unimportant to check. Their search led them to the desert's Tri-Rock monument where the locals nicknamed it 'Hell's Claw'. "Detecting anything?" Darryn scanned the rock formation.
"Affirmative. Traces of negative particles, Saiyan and cybernetic energy signatures. This was indeed the portal that they used to get out. Unfortuneately, My sensors didn't detect which general direction they were heading in." Kanashimi scoffed lightly.
"So tell me, how dangerous is this Blackfist character?" Darryn tried as hard to not dredge up old memories of his time with the organization.
"He is ruthless as he is powerful. His goal was to cyberize the world, then eventually the universe. I was forced to upload myself to a tablet and continue to exist. From what I was told, it was Rugai that took him down." Kanashimi stared at Darryn for a second, then back at the rock formation.
"Its like he's got a divine force helping him, and it's really ticking me off!" Kanashimi did one trip around the rock formation, then floated above it.
Back at Rugai's team...
They just landed inside the ruined base of the Black Fist Organization. Rugai made a B-line towards Blackfist's throne room. Tenchu and Ferno searched the surrounding buildings, thoroughly. Hours passed, Tenchu and Ferno got back to the opened area awaiting for Rugai to return. "Maybe we should've gotten Dr. Anthony to help us." Ferno crossed his arms looking towards what was left of the entrance.
"Dr. Anthony went underground half a year after our return from our space trip. I highly doubt he will help us anyway if he heard that Backfist returned from the dead." Tenchu walked towards the back of the base, when he got there, a slight smoked area with an exposed ladder poked out of the ground. "FERNO, OVER HERE!" Ferno teleported next to Tenchu. Both looked and nodded at each other, then went into the hole.
Moments later, Tenchu lit the dark tunnel with his Ki. Ferno found a swtich, and turned the lights on. Tenchu just looked at him with a 'seriously, dude?' expression. As they reached the end, Rugai was in the room, sifting through various blueprints and printed plans. "I was wondering when you guys were going to get here." With confusion, Ferno was about to speak before Rugai cut him off. "Fruits of my training from Kami's lookout." Once again, confusion fell on Tenchu and Ferno.
"Kami's Lookout?" Tenchu asked.
"Where we'll be going after taking out Lyc and Blackfist again." Rugai picked up a sealed container from the left side of the wall. As he opened it, a single microchip with the label WF-001. Rugai turned towards Tenchu and Ferno, and showed them the chip.
"Deathray plans?" Tenchu got a closer look. "Strange for this to be marked." Ferno spoke up.
"Destroy it. Almost nothing good comes from it... Darryn and Qube Corp. being excluded of course." Ferno raised his hand at the chip Rugai is holding. Rugai quickly pulled his own hand away.
"Might be useful. Grab anything you can, we'll head back to Qube Corp. for Bull can make any sense to what these say." As Rugai put the chip in the back of his fingerless glove, all three of them grabed everything they can hold. Ferno and Tenchu huddled close to Rugai. Rugai then used Instant Transmission, and left the secret room.
The Saiyans, along with Kanashimi and Darryn, converged to Anmenbo City. The sight of destroyed buildings, burnt wreckage, and bodies either strung lifeless on various places or cowering in fear. Kanashimi angrily transformed into a Super Saiyan, and flew towards the city's central area. Darryn looked at the remaining Saiyans, they took a moment to mourn the lives that were lost by their enemies, and helped the survivors get away safely. "Never fear, we are here to help you. Please do not be afraid of us." The cowering citizens didn't find comfort in Darryn's words. "I'm here to provide..." One of the children interrupted Darryn.
"GO AWAY! WE'VE HAD ENOUGH OF YOU EVIL ROBOTS!" Darryn pulled back his hand, then took a couple steps back. "Take your evil tailed friends, and leave our island!" As Darryn turned towards the Saiyans, he noticed the rest of the survivors crowding around them, either holding various blunt or sharp objects, or cracking their knuckles. Vivek raised his hands in surrender, whiched caused the rest to do the same. soon, they were being bound and blindfolded and taken somewhere else. Kanashimi, on the other hand, when she arrived at the city's square, she threw various debris around. She grumbled as every place she cleared, resulted in nothing, or freeing trapped survivors.
"Um... Thank you, but..." the mom holding her three kids, paused her question, her voice was filled with terror. "Aren't you with those two people who destroyed our town?" Kanashimi got mad.
"Do I look like I'm furthuring destroying this place!? I'm trying to find the ones responsible!" Kanashimi got frustrated even more, then went back to sifting through the rubble. With no luck in finding Lyc and/or Blackfist, Kanashimi turned around and saw her Saiyan Brethren and Darryn being escorted by the rest of the people. The one guy in the front saw Kanashimi in her Super Saiyan state, rushed over and held the sharp object to her throat. Kanashimi looked at her companions, and saw them slightly shaking their heads 'no resistance', and reverted back to her normal state.
"I knew you are in league with the other two that destroyed this city!" As the guy pulled back, he swung his sharp object at Kanashimi. She quickly returned to Super Saiyan, causing the sharp object to break, and sending the guy on the ground.
"I know you didn't notice, but just before you got here, I rescued the people here. So don't you DARE associate us with the two that destroyed this place!" A sudden pull deep from within her gut, pushed itself to the surface. A pillar of light engulfed Kanashimi, the force of her energy pushed a few citizens back from her. The light disappeared, Kanashimi's appearance changed. Her hair style changed its position, sparks of blue lightning encircled randomly around her body. Darryn and the rest of the Saiyans were shocked to see Kanashimi's new look.
Back at Qube Corp...
Bull went through every one of Blackfist's blueprints like a hot knife through butter. Rugai just watched silently from across the room. Ferno meditated in the park area, while Tenchu relaxed with Sanfan in the kitchen with Sol and Era and Jeena. "I still find it hard to believe the dead can come back like that." Era lit her cigarette. "Dead is dead. plain and simple." Tenchu held Sanfan's hands.
"The one way I knew is using the Dragon Balls. But like you said, hard to believe." Dead silence filled the room. All three of them sensed a surge of Ki, Rugai smiled a bit.
"Looks like she ascended." Tenchu and Sanfan looked at him questionably, Rugai just continued to smile. Shortly afterwards, Ferno entered the room.
"What an incredible amount of Ki I am sensing." Rugai, kept on smiling. "You know something, don't you?" Rugai got up, placed two fingers on his forehead, and teleported out of the room.
The people of Anmenbo City, were pitted against each other. The ones who hated what Lyc and Blackfist did to their city, took their anger on Kanashimi and the rest of the Earth Fighters. Some threw various items at them, while others either thrusted sharp objects like spears, or yelling for them to leave. "We aren't going to hurt you!" The large Saiyan raised his hands in surrender. Sadly, the angry people didn't want to hear it. The rest of the people, formed a human barrier trying to protect their heroes. Seconds later, Rugai appeared between the angry mob, and his friends, just in time to grab the thrown brick.
"Looks like I made it just in time." He turned towards his friends.
"Idiot, I was about to scare them off." Kanashimi was still in her ascended form, breathing lightly. Rugai walked over to her, and placed a hand on her shoulder.
"You might want to power down, you haven't gotten used to that transformation yet." Kanashimi blushed a bit, then powered down to just her Super Saiyan form. Rugai turned, and walked back to where he appeared, got on his hands and knees, then begged the angry mob for forgivness. One person from the angry mob, had a sudden realization, then stepped forward.
"Y...You're Rugai, aren't you?" Rugai looked up. "Yea, you are!" The woman quickly ran towards him, and grabbed his hands, and held them in hers. "Seven years ago, I saw your amazing fight at that Martial Arts Tournament. You were so young, and just awesome. I wanted to meet you and..." She blushed a bit, then kissed him on the cheek without hesitaton. "I missed you at this past Tournament." Rugai got up, and put his left hand behind his head.
"Kinda of a long story." Rugai bowed at everyone, grabbed his friends, then used Instant Transmission out of the ruined Anmenbo City. The people there, their eyes bulged out of their sockets, then quickly searched the area for them.
Outside West City...
Lyc and Blackfist stood just within the treeline, Lyc started to grumble angrily under his breath. Blackfist just lookat at him from the corner of his right eye. "Soon we will have our revenge. Why aren't we tracking him down and gain the element of surprise?"Lyc turned to him, and shoved Blackfist against the tree.
"Because I want him to suffer beyond greatly. I want him to know, that he can't save anyone, that I control life and death. That weak worm is nothing, against the crowned heir to the Saiyans!" Lyc released his hold on Blackfist, then transformed into a Super Saiyan, and flew off to West City. Blackfist, wiped himself off, quickly formulated a backstabbing plan, then followed Lyc.
With only five days remaining before oblivion, Lyc and Blackfist continue their destruction on Earth. Will Rugai and the rest of the Earth Fighters stop them in time? Find out next time on Dragon Ball NA.
