Dragon Ball NA
Last time on NA: The search for Lyc and Blackfist yielded no leads whatsoever, that is, until a nearly destroyed Anmenbo City caused friction between its people and the Saiyans with Darryn in tow. Kanashimi's anger from the people, made her transform into an Ascended Saiyan. With Rugai's sudden interference, they escaped. With five days left before oblivion, can our heroes prevent it? The Earth Fighters gathered in Bull's lab, trying to make sense what is happening. "I can't figure out why Anmenbo would be nearly destroyed, then leave the survivors alive?" Tenchu held a sleeping Tenchi in his arms. "Even Blackfist didn't cyberized them." Darryn tried to process that information. "By the way, where is Shrodd?" Everyone looked around for the Dragonkyn.
"He's trying to find the escapees." Jeena entered the lab just at that moment. "Some guy with a crystal ball, told Shrodd to find them. He's so gung-ho when Rugai's name was mentioned." Rugai closed his eyes, and placed two fingers on his forehead. He couldn't sense Shrodd anywhere on the planet. Jeena grabbed the remote control, and turned on the T.V. and switched the channel to ZTV.
"...The sight here in West City is horrifying! Two unknown assailants dropped someone, which has been identified as Shrodd, a former World Martial Arts contestant..." Everyone was shocked to see Shrodd's body laying broken and lifeless on the ground. The Earth Fighters were mad, Rugai got up and stood in the middle of the room. The Saiyans, Tenchu, Darryn and Ferno placed a hand on Rugai's body. Rugai put two fingers on his forehead, and used Instant Transmission. One second they were in the livingroom, the next they were by Shrodd's body. The news crew caught them, and rushed over. "Excuse me... Where did you guys come from? And are you with those two in the air?" Rugai's group looked up, and saw Blackfist and Lyc hovering in the air.
"LYC! BLACKFIST! YOU BOTH NEED TO GO BACK TO HELL RIGHT NOW!" The reporter was shocked at the name Blackfist.
"B...B...Blackfist!?" The words Rugai spoke, was caught on camera, and caused everyone who was watching to flee in terror. Blackfist looked at Lyc, Lyc just did a half smile and shook his head.
"I have ascertain, that they do not believe you." Rugai slightly nodded.
"Help with the evacuation. I'll take them on." Darryn stood his grown.
"If I may... I formally request that I take on my former employer." Rugai smiled a bit.
"If things go south for you, tag in Tenchu." Darryn looked at Tenchu, saw a thumb up guesture, then nodded.
Lyc and Blackfist landed a few feet away from the Earth Fighters. Kanashimi stood next to Darryn, as the Saiyans took a step forward, and each one of them flipped off Lyc. "We never told you this before your fight with Lord Rugai here... But we quit, plain and simple." Lyc got furious and fired a large Ki blast at them, Rugai got in between them, and redirected it just out of Earth's orbit.
"Help with the evacuation of West City. We'll handle this." Kanashimi just stood there, while Vivek and the rest of the Saiyans flew off and did what they were told. "You don't have to stay. You know that, right?" She just stared at Rugai through the corner of her eye.
"You think that giving the robot a handicap with the Earthling? I'm just observing while you get the crap beat out of you. If you die, I can finish him in my ascended form." She cracked a half smile.
"I am still the TRUE Super Saiyan! You two are just rejects!" Blackfist remembered Rugai's transformed state, and shook with fear in his circuits. "Don't be fooled, the weak worm is just a boaster." Lyc powered up, he gradually yelled loudly. His muscles slightly expanded, hair forcing its way upwards and eyes slowly turning jade-emerald. Then with one last push, Lyc had transformed into a Super Saiyan. Except for Blackfist and Rugai, everyone there was shocked at Lyc's appearance. Rugai barely cracked a smile, then just transformed without powering up. "You call that a Super Saiyan? It's pathetic and a lame attempt to being one of the deserving to rule the universe." Kanashimi. Tenchu and Darryn stood next to Rugai.
"You're still denying that Rugai is a Super Saiyan, even though you've seen it twice!? Why do you hate him so much!?" Tenchu redied himself for an attack. "Even Blackfist is trembling in fear because Rugai was the first to become a Super Saiyan! Why do you hate him so much!?" Lyc looked down a bit, gritted his teeth, and tightly clenched his fists.
"That... ungrateful... low class BASTARD... He's making a mockery of the Saiyan race. Refuses to fight for pleasure! Refuses to acknowledge me, the rightful heir to the most powerful race in existance, then tries to take MY place as king..." Rugai took a couple steps forward.
"I am the king of the Saiyans. You refuse to see what is right in front of you! You are so stubborn, you still believe that I lost to you! You are risking oblivion just to try and reclaim what you lost!" Everyone fell silent, Kanashimi just stared at Lyc. Lyc just lunged at Rugai with malice, grabbed Rugai's shirt and threw him into the nearest building. Darryn and Blackfist stood toe to toe against each other.
"Why have you betrayed me all those cronological measurements back? I had unfathomable belief that you were going to bring my best laid plans to fruitions."Darryn looked at Blackfist.
"A year before my defeat at Rugai, I found the buried program of my humanoid memories. You stole my humanoid life, and turned me into... this! Darryn blindly punched Blackfist, sending him in a different direction than Rugai did. Darryn took off after Blackfist.
Back at Qube Corp...
Bull half-assed built a robotic head, and inserted the chip into its customized location. He then turned it on. The head shot its eyes open, and scanned the lab carefully.
"Why have I been reactivated? What is your designation? Has Supreme Leader Blackfist cyberized the world?" Bull got annoyed by the barrage of questions from the head. "You do realize you are touching Jadefist of the Black Fist Organization. I've made humanoid men grovel with just my optimized appearance. Submit to..." Bull shut off the head of Jadefist, then rubbed his eyes with his thumb and finger. Jeena walked in just as Bull put the head down.
"I really hate the superiority of evil robots. At least tell me you brought me some good news." Jeena wrapped her arms around his neck, and kissed his cheek.
"Rugai is taking care of them as we speak. Have you ever lost faith in him?" Bull crossed his arms and closed his eyes. "What's wrong?" Bull just shook his head.
Rugai came out of the rubble of the house, and looked at Lyc with an extreme fierceness in his eyes. Darryn walked over to Blackfist, and dragged him off the ground, then rapidly punched him followed by a close range energy blast destroying just the body, leaving the head intact. Darryn then knelt in front of it, placed his thumb on its nose, while putting his pointer and middle fingers on Blackfist's forehead. Deep witthin Blackfist's inner mind, a digital copy of Darryn scanned the immediate area resembling a cybernized utopia Blackfist envisioned. "Why do you keep this plan, even though Rugai defeated you?" Darryn took one step, then the entire cybernized city deleted itself.
"My plan for the perfect utopia was at a mere 65% before the one designated Rugai defeated me. I originally wanted to come back and take revenge, but running my probabilities and factoring in cronological distortions, it was pefectly clear that oblivion was indeed going to happen." A digital landcape digitized under Darryn's feet, then Blackfist's digital copy emerged in front of Darryn himself. "I beg for your forgiveness, my old friend. I was corrupted with power, that I allowed it to fully take over my personality." Blackfist turned around, and opened up multiple files. "Please, take as much information you see fit. I only desire to return to hell, or a fate worse than hell." Blackfist deleted himself from Darryn's view. Darryn extended his hand at the files, and in a near instant, downloaded every single file Blackfist has.
"Am I to assume you finally admit surrender?" Blackfist didn't answer, and Darryn knew right there. "I shall send you back to hell. Farewell." Darryn then exited the mind of Blackfist, and returned to his own body.
"Well that didn't take long." Tenchu got closer to Darryn. "You just touched his face for a second." Darryn got up, and fired an energy blast at Blackfists' head.
"Cybernetic brains doesn't perceive the concept of time like living organisms do. A second for us, can feel like hours or days for the rest of you. At one point..." Darryn looked at the charred outlibe of where Blackfist used to be. "I used to believe what he was doing, was good. But over time, I saw him for what he really was." Darryn then turned his attention to Lyc.
Rugai walked a few steps towards Lyc. He kept his determined gaze at him. Lyc just laughed. "Look at you! A worthless worm tring to intimidate me! I...am...KING!" Lyc extended his arms on both sides of himself, and threw his head back. when he looked forward, Rugai was just inches away from him. Lyc was startled, and floated a few feet back. "How... how did you...?" Rugai raised his right arm and hand, then repeatedly slap Lyc's face.
"I've slapped some sense into you. Go back to hell right now!" Lyc got frustrated, and suckered punch Rugai in his left side of the face. Rugai looked at Lyc with his fist still on his cheek. "Finished?" Lyc pulled away, scared. Lyc saw sparks of blue lightning randomizing around Rugai. Rugai transformed again, into his Super Saiyan 2 form. Everyone there was shocked beyond words.
The lone cameraman and reporter was hidden behind some rubble a few feet away from Tenchu's group. "It now appears that one of the fighters in the air, is emiting what looks like a golden light surrounding his body, and sparks shooting around him as well." Around the world, people are witnessing Rugai's fight with Lyc. Bull and the rest of Rugai's friends were also watching, Deena went pale just looking at him.
"The boy still surprises me. Be happy that he's stronger now, probably in more ways than one." Jeena then wrapped an arm around Deena's body, then whispered something in her ear.
Back in West City...
Lyc was sent flying towards the ocean. He caught himself just before hitting the Lyc could get his bearings, Rugai was right behind him and connected a kick to his right side breaking his arm. Lyc cried out in agonizing pain.
As Lyc was getting tossed around by Rugai in his Super Saiyan 2 form, Darryn downloaded everything from Blackfist's internal memory. With just a couple days left before oblivion, can Rugai convince Lyc to return to hell? Find out next time on Dragon Ball NA
