Calvin is 11. He is still very short and he still only wears that red and black striped t-shirt. Hobbes is still his best friend and he still is very imaginative. He is now in 6th grade but still doesn't care enough to lift his grades past a passing grade. This all is thrown into the mix of him going to Hogwarts and finding that his cousin that is his age is Harry Potter.

9. Chapter 9

The next day, they had flying practice. Hobbes decided to tag along.

When they got there the Slytherins were already there. Madam Hooch taught them to mount their brooms. She even let Hobbes on a broom. "As long as you behave."

They got ready to take off. Neville almost went to early, but Calvin and Hobbes grabbed him. As they took off. Crab slipped and broke his wrist. "I'll take you to the hospital wing. Don't you fly any brooms or you will be out of Hogwarts before you can say 'Quitich'." Madam Hooch walked off. Malfoy saw Neville's remembral lying on the grass.

"Hey Longbottom, lookee here." Malfoy waved the remembral through the air.

"Give it back Malfoy." Neville said.

"Oh you want it?" Malfoy said mockingly. "Then go get it." Malfoy threw it as hard as he could towards the wall.

Harry raced after it, caught it barely, and brought it to Neville.

"POTTER!" Professor McGonagall shouted.

"Come with me."

Harry walked inside.

Calvin's trasmogrifier gun handle was sticking out of his pocket. Malfoy saw it and decided to take it.

"Oh, what is this?" Malfoy said while it was pointed at Hobbes.

"Watch where you point that!" Calvin and Hobbes yelled.

"Or what? It'll turn someone into a quaffle?" Malfoy said. Unfortunately, it was pointed at Neville this time and it did turn him into a quaffle.

"Wow. Here, catch Calvin." Malfoy said.

"Hang on Neville, I'll change you back." Calvin said worriedly.

Malfoy grabbed Neville and tossed him to Goyle. They steadily flew higher.

Calvin mew what danger Neville was in so he and Hobbes decided to save Neville. Calvin flew up and grabbed Neville from Malfoy. Goyle tried to steal him back. Calvin tossed Neville to Hobbes. They worked their way down to the ground and changed Neville back.

"Calvin and Hobbes!" McGonagall cried. "You come here right now!"

They walked up to her.

"Come with me." They walked to Professor Flitwick's classroom.

"May I borrow Wood again?" McGonagall asked. Wood walked out. "I have found two substitute chasers for you." Calvin and Hobbes looked at each other. They were drafted onto the team after Wood heard what they had done to save Neville. They were told that they would get brooms later like Harry would.

They got their brooms, all nimbus 2000. They were challenged by Malfoy to a wizard's duel.

They went to practice with wood and Harry. Harry did seeker drills with wood while Calvin and Hobbes passed the quaffle for a while and then they had to dodge one bludger for a while.

When they went up to the common room, Calvin had a meeting with monsters again. As he tried to sleep he heard a voice.

"Psst. Hey kid. I've been trying to find you for a month. Now your mom isn't here to save you. WAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" The monster under the bed said.

"But now, I have magic." Calvin replied. "Lumos." Light spilled out from his wand. The monster shrieked and the tentacle that was sticking out shriveled up.

Harry ran in. "What was the shriek about?"

"The monster under my bed. Look." Calvin held up the tentacle.

"Well that's disturbing." Harry said looking sick. Harry ran to the bathroom to puke.
