Dragon Ball NA

Last time on NA: With oblivion stopped, our heroes decided to not waste time and began new training regiments. While Rugai went off to do his own thing, Tenchu's group climbed Korin's Tower while Kanashimi trained at Saba's place. Can she survive Franky's assault and move onto her next lesson? Find out on Dragon Ball NA.

The oversized Franky threw a punch at Kanashimi, she blocked it and was pushed once again close to the edge. Kanashimi started to get weak in her knees, arms bruised badly and vision slowly getting blurred. "Franky going to beat puny girl." He raised his right fist high into the air, and got hit with this time a red lightning bolt. Franky chuckled. "Franky hit you with my Megaton Punch." Franky readied his punch. Kanashimi tried to positioned herself defensively, but in her weakened state proved useless.

"Break time!" Saba raised his right hand. Franky discharged the electricity built up in his body, and left the ring. Saba floated on his crystal ball towards Kanashimi. "Are you figuring out this portion of your training?" Kanashimi breathed heavily, giving Saba the look. " One of my ghostly attendants set up a table for you to regain your strength. A bag of Senzu Beans and food for you." Kanashimi staggered her way to the table, and fell as she reached the edge, passing out. "So stubborn, and her hidden desire is her drive to get stronger. You know how to choose 'em Rugai." He motioned his ghostly attendants to carry Kanashimi into the larger building and into one of the beds.

One year later...

Jeena was in the garden at Qube Corp., along with Deena and her twin babies Ryu and Lyra. "Rugai is where?" Deena scoffed in irritation

"Said he had to go to some Kai place or whatever. Left me with the twins by myself." Jeena picked up Lyra, and held her gently. "Of all the years I've known him, he still rushes off and saves the planet." As Deena went to pick up Ryu, Rugai suddenly appeared behind Deena.

"Man do I love this instant transmission. Would take me forever getting from point A to point B." Rugai leaned over Deena's right shoulder, and gave Ryu a goofy face.

Meanwhile at Saba's place, Kanashimi was in the middle of her third training session with Mums the Mummy, her speed increased exponentially. Saba, still sitting on his crystal ball, nodded slightly.

Tenchi's group, on the other hand, after a greuling session from Korin himself, found their way to the Lookout in which they are now being trained by Mr. Popo. They took to different edges in a meditative position, overlooking the Earth below them. Mr. Popo went to Ferno and told him to follow. As Ferno followed, they passed a few rooms, one in which had a plaque engraved 'Hyperbolic Timechamber'. "What is in that room?"

"Timechamber. Get a years training in one single day. Rugai used it the maximum of two days in there." Mr. Popo turned his head and smiled. "But where you are going, you'll be surprised." Mr. Popo led Ferno in a twist, turn sightseeing tour of the Lookout. They finally reached the one odd looking door. Mr. Popo knocked twice, then opened the door. Both entered the dimly lit room, a few feet in, and Ferno's eyes quickly adjusted, he saw a figure sitting in a chair. It.

"Welcome, my fellow Kamekian." An older speaking guy, staggered to his feet, the room got brighter. Ferno was nearly floored at what he saw. "I am Fyre, and like you I am a Kamekian." Ferno was too stunned to move or say anything. Fyre staggered his way closer to Ferno. "Please put your hand on my chest. I learned this from an old Namekian friend in fusion. I'm old, don't have much time left. Please." Ferno finally snapped out of his shocked state, and placed his right hand on Fyre's chest. Fyre's body began to glow light red, almost pink. A white aura engulfed Fyre, Ferno felt a surge of power, flowing into his body from Fyre. Mr. Popo stood behind Ferno a few fet away, watching Fyre being fused into Ferno's being.

Everyone above area of the Lookout, felt what was going on. Rugai did as well, while still holding Ryu in his arms, pretending not to notice. Saba did the same, as he instructed Kanashimi to continue with her new opponent: the ghost named Bob.

Back at Fyre's room, Fyre's clothing fell to the floor, Ferno's body was covered with Fyre's aura, slowly disapearing. Mr. Popo stood without expressing his sadness to Fyre's sudden merging with Ferno. Soon afterwards, Ferno raised his hands to chest level, and felt the increase in power within. "Lord Fyre kept an eye on you for years now. Both of you fell from space, but during the crash, flung you far from him. He traveled the world searching for you, but to no avail. He was approached by the former guardian and bestowed the title to him. since then, he knew where you were, up until you left Earth for a couple years." Ferno's mind riddled with questions about his life on Earth. "Please sir, all Lord Fyre wanted was for you to have the knowledge of his past. Mr. Rugai has already taken the oportunity to find another guardian to replace him."

"What makes you think that I wouldn't take over?" Mr. Popo looked down a bit.

"Lord Fyre and Mr. Rugai talked it over, and they didn't want you to go crazy with boredom. No offense of course." Ferno just smiled. Rugai always put the concerns of others before himself, and thinking about what Ferno might do if he got bored, and didn't want to experience it.

"Guess I'll get back to training then." As Ferno turned, he saw at the corner of his right eye, a tear running down Popo's cheek. He stopped at the doorway and turned his head. "Fear not old friend, I'm sure the new guardian Rugai picks, wil keep your inner deamons at bay." Mr. Popo smiled a bit.

A month passed...

Tenchi's group layed exhausted from the intense, rigorous training regiment Mr. Popo gave. Rugai showed up via instant transmission, holding a bag of senzu beans in his left hand, and passed them out. "Wow guys, have gotten stronger this past year. I'm impressed." Rugai smiled, and everyone there lightly smacked a shoulder. "So are you guys ready for your next training regiment?" Everyone there groaned loud enough in protest.

"Bro..." Tenchu stepped forward. "All of us have trained non-stop and without rest since you took out Lyc and stopped oblivion. let us rest for a week!" Rugai smiled after looking at everyone there.

"That's what i was going to say. Besides, Jeena and Bull have a special surprise for our Saiyan friends here." Vivek and the others looked at Rugai with serious confusion. Rugai placed two fingers on his forehead, told everyone who wanted to leave the Lookout to grab part of his outfit. Ferno stayed behind and kept Mr. Popo company. Rugai teleported everyone else to Central City.

"Why not go with them?" Mr. Popo said.

"Saiyans don't need a Kamekian there. Besides, I feel at home here, and that's not the Fyre guy in me speaking." Ferno turned to the structure, and admired it greatly.

Qube Corp. backyard...

Everyone who held onto Rugai, released their grip. "Hey guys! We're here!" Shortly after, Jeena and Deena turned to look at them, and guestured a hushing motion stating that the babies are taking a nap. As Rugai quietly got closer, he whispered in Jeena's ear. "Is Bull ready yet?" Jeena turned back at the building, and an explosion exploded loud enough to take out part of the building, which caused the babies to wake up screaming.

"Ugh! I've told that man many times to quit conducting very large tests. guess i'll have to refuse him food for a couple months." Jeena had an angry face, and glared at where Bull might be at. Short time later, Era literally threw Bull out the window, and towards where Rugai was standing. Rugai caught Bull in mid-air, and gently set him down, on his head of course.

"Boy, I'm so glad you were here to catch me. Mom had the killing intent after my latest device didn't go so well." Bull pulled out his half-charred tablet, and went to work fixing formulas and other stuff.

"Your majesty, why did you halt our training? I thought we were preparing ourselves to help you fight the Were-Lygers?" The larger Saiyan scratched his head.

"We are, trust me O'ja. Resting every now and then is part of the training after all." The Saiyans were still dumbfounded. Bull pulled out several sheets, and pointed towards the south-west direction of the city. Rugai started floating in the air, and yelled at them, and along with Tenchu, to follow him.

After an hour passed...

Rugai landed at the refernished four houses. The Saiyans and Tenchu were shocked to see each house had their own name. O'ja's house was built for his size, which made him very others checked out their homes, and was also very glad to have a place to call them their own. "Your majesty. You did all of this...for us? O'ja was holding back tears. Rugai got closer to him, and gently smacked his arm.

"Well, I figured as king of the Saiyans, I have to at least provide homes for my people." Tenchu looked around, and couldn't find Kanashimi's name on any of the renovated homes. "She told me when I went to check on her progress, that she wants to live in isolation from everything. Master Evelyn told me about the deed to her place, and all of Mt. Paos, that it would be very sad if it didn't have someone to watch over it. So I handed that same deed to Kanashimi, couldn't tell if she was excited or if she wanted to punch me." Rugai and Tenchu looked down slightly, remembering their time with their Master.

"Sucks that you missed her funeral. I asked her if we could gather the dragonballs and wish her back to life, but she begged us not to do that."

"I met her in Otherworld. She looked so peaceful, and begged me not to revive her as well. She lived a very long time, and she was very happy to have trained four of the best students she ever had. I...even saw Tenchi there. He was so happy to see me and her, and wished me the best of luck. He also said that naming your first born after him was very nice of you." Tenchu broke out in tears, he never stopped thinking about his twin brother. One of the neighbors walked out of her house, and headed towards Rugai and the rest of the Saiyans.

"Excuse me, but I couldn't help notice all six of you. are you the new owners?" O'ja, Vivek, and the other two Saiyans raised their hands. "Wow, never once have I seen such...muscular..." Her words trailed off, and was lost at the physical build of everyone there.

"Ma'am?...Ma'am?" Vivek waved his hand at the woman in hopes to get a response. But she was off in her little world, mouth drooling with her saliva, and her face flustered in a red as dark as crimson. "Your majesty...I think we broke her." Rugai waved his hand up fast enough to cause a man made breeze, which brought the woman out of her trance.

"Sorry...just not used to seeing all these muscular men this close before. What is your name?" She pointed her still shaking left hand at O'ja.

"Isn't it customary to introduce yourself first before asking the name of others?" he leaned towards Rugai. "I am saying that right, your majesty?" Rugai quickly nodded, and guestured to downplay the 'majesty' part not only to O'ja, but to the rest of the Saiyans as well.

"My name is Fanny Dixon. Now you tell me your name." Fanny bowed at O'ja.

"Please to meet you." He adverted his eyes at Rugai, and saw another nod of approval. "My name is O'ja. And I'm a Saiyan Warrior." O'ja smiled at Fanny. Tenchu and Rugai facepalmed themselves. Fanny just giggled a bit.

"You're funny. I like a guy who is funny." Fanny left them, leaving O'ja and the rest of the Saiyans dumbfounded.

As the months ticked away, the Saiyans adjusted to their new home, Kanashimi finished her training at Saba's place. Rugai went to Namek, and brought one of the Namekians as Earth's new guardian. Ferno and Tenchu explored the planet, finding the remaining Dragon Balls.

The year after, Rugai took the fighters to different planets, and have them resume their training. Rugai then went to his favorite planet, which oddly sits in the middle of three blackholes. The gravity from those three, nearly reached 1200 times Earth's normal. For nearly 6 years after Rugai's first fight with Lyc, King Kai has expressed life threatening concerns and warnings about "Devil's Triangle". It was aptly named, because of the singular planet perfectly situated with the three blackholes. Void of all life, and with its constant gravity flux, Rugai kept this a secret from his friends, and resumed his training.

With the Were-Lygers nearly upon our heroes, their final training session is progressing nicely. Can they win against them? Find out next time, on Dragon Ball NA.
