Hayate's eyes opened, but all he could see was darkness. The muffled sounds of voices was all he could hear.

"...ship...abandoned,"

"What...going...do!?"

Hayate tried to move, but could not. His body felt heavy as the voices became more clear.

"Donovan abandoned us! Left us to that monster!"

"Keep your voice down, he hasn't found us yet,"

Hayate tried to regain his vision, the darkness began to fade as blurred images appeared. He continued blinking, trying to focus his blurred vision, but he was stopped when he heard several loud bangs and a low growling.

"HE'S FOUND US!"

The loud banging continued, eventually followed by a loud crashing noise.

"HE GOT IN! FIRE!"

Several gunshots could be heard as Hayate's vision slowly began to focus. A loud scream was heard next along with a ripping sound. The gunshots continued until suddenly they stopped, several clicking noises could be heard afterwards.

"P...Please, don't...I...Please,"

Hayate vision was finally restored, he saw that he was in some sort of pod. His eyes moved to the small glass window of his pod, his eyes widened in horror.

One man's heart was ripped out and laid beside him, while two others stood directly in front of his pod. A scared man and Ryu Hayabusa who was covered in blood. Suddenly, Hayabusa's hand violently slashed the unarmed man to death as the blood curdling screams rang throughout his pod. Hayate struggled for control of his body as he slightly began to wiggle, but a sharp pain in his back caused him to stop.

He wanted to stop Hayabusa, he HAD to stop him but his body would not recover in time. The man lifeless body fell to the ground as Hayabusa put his blood drenched hands to his side. Hayate stood quiet watching Hayabusa.

Hayabusa finally turned towards Hayate, a shiver ran down Hayate's spine as his eyes met Hayabusa's. Hayabusa's once green were now blood-red as a twisted grin formed on his face. He walked over to Hayate's pod and began slamming his hands on it, trying to force it open. Hayate stared shocked, unsure of what to do next when suddenly...

The small pane of glass crumbled into his face

Hayate's eyes opened as he quickly sat up from his laying position. He looked around the room and saw that he was in a traditional style Japanese room. He grew confused by what he was seeing when the sliding door to his room opened.

Hayate scrambled and turned towards the door, ready to attack. Hitomi stepped in the room with a tray, but dropped it when she saw Hayate. Hayate felt his heart well up upon seeing her as he stood fully up.

You...Your awake," said Hitomi simply as tears began to form in her eyes. Hayate continued to stare, unable to move. Flashbacks of the fake Hitomi began to enter his mind.

Hitomi let the tears fall freely as she ran over to Hayate and threw her arms around him. Hayate slowly raised his arms and returned the embrace.

"Is...is it really you?" said Hayate with fear laced in his voice as he buried his face in her brown hair, he felt the tears beginning to form.

"Of course it is me, I have missed you so much," said Hitomi happily as she continued to hold him tight.

"We all have missed you brother," said another female voice. Hayate looked up and saw Kasumi and Ayame standing at the sliding door. Kasumi had a small smile on her face as she entered the room.

"Rest easy brother, for you are finally home. Your real home, not the nightmare we left," said Kasumi, knowing exactly what Hayate was thinking.

Hayate stared hard at his sister before nodding and holding Hitomi tighter. He was finally home and off the ship.

He had survived

Eliot stood on the deck of the ship wearing a black coat, a Grey turtle neck and blue pants with black shoes, he was in deep thought as he stared out at the sea. It had been a few weeks after him and Archer's escape from San Quentin Prison. He thought freedom would make him slightly happy, but it didn't. Alister escaped, Ayane was still missing, and MIST was still active, the list went on.

With the defeat that Alister suffered, Ayane life was in danger. Eliot would not lose her as well, he had to find her soon.

"Its getting late," said a voice behind Eliot, Eliot turned and saw Archer standing with a smoldering cigarette hanging on his lip. He wore a Grey half coat with a white collard shirt and black tie, black slacks and formal shoes.

"Can't sleep," said Eliot as he continued to stare out at the sea.

"Whats on your mind Eliot," said Archer as he walked next to Eliot and flicked the cigarette into the ocean, watching it disappear.

"How do you think Alister got to us in that prison? That should have been impossible," said Eliot.

"He hacked the system, Grant told me that the prison's security systems were a mess when we were dealing with Alister. Everyone in that prison was locked away in the main facility while Alister had free roam of the place," said Archer.

"It's just always feels like they are two steps ahead of us, we haven't even seen Donovan or Rig since this started,"

"Ya, its a bad situation," said Archer as he pulled another smoke from his pack.

"Now were stuck out here at sea, trying to figure out what to do next. Are we ever going to get the upper hand!" Shouted Eliot as he slammed his hand on the edge of the deck.

"We have been following the rules since we started this, were always being attacked by someone and never do any attacking ourselves. After everything that has happened, the gloves now come off," said Archer darkly.

"What do we do," said Eliot.

"We stop running and start fighting back, will find them if we start getting aggressive about it," said Archer. Eliot nodded and looked back at the sea. It was time to take the fight to Donovan and find the facility, whatever the cost.

No mercy

Helena sat quietly at her desk, she felt tired but couldn't sleep just yet. The doors at the end of the room opened and in entered Archer.

"You should get some rest," said Helena simply as Archer walked over to the large window and stared out. He could still see Eliot standing at the deck by himself. Helena stood up and walked to Archer side, staring at Eliot as well.

"He's changed so much," said Helena.

"He's had many tragedies happen to him over the course of time we've been at this, rage is what is fueling him now," said Archer.

"How can you be certain," asked Helena concerned.

"Many years ago, I was in the same shoes," said Archer.

"What do you mean?" asked Helena curiously, "you haven't told me anything at all about yourself, I would like to know."

Archer looked at Helena carefully. He didn't know much about her, but he knew she was not an evil woman. She cared in her own way and she stuck by Eliot through everything. He knew he could trust her.

"Many years ago when I was in the core, I was apart of a group called Shadow Six..."

Archer told her everything he told Eliot before, Helena listened intently.

"So what ever happened to Gina?" asked Helena. Archer's eyes darkened as he began to remember her. He pulled out a cigarette and lit it, inhaling hard before blowing the smoke out the window.

"When I decided that I'd rather have a meaningful relationship with Gina and not with Six, he didn't take it well. He decided that she was a distraction which needed to be dealt with," said Archer as calmly as he could.

"So he...He killed her?" said Helena slightly shocked.

"He figured that with her out the way, I would return to work. The bastard did it himself and had Alister cover it up. It didn't take me long to connect the dots and figure it out,"

"What did you do?"

"I confronted him and he did not deny it. Without thinking, I shot him in the chest. Eye for an eye is what I told him before I finished him off," said Archer darkly. Helena stood quiet, shocked by what had happened, shocked by what he had done.

"Shortly after that, Shadow Six was disavowed by the military. Every member was honorably discharged and essentially abandoned, I moved on with my life and became a police officer. Gina's death will always hurt, but at least I got the son of a bitch that killed her, and I have no regrets," said Archer as he walked over to the ashtray on Helena's desk and put out the cigarette. Archer sat at the edge of her desk awaiting her response.

"My mother died protecting me, I always wanted to find her killer, but never could. Then one day her killer revealed herself to me. Me and her fought and I had won, knocking her unconscious. I hated what my father's company had become and I hated her for taking my mother away from me. I then decided that I would take her and the Tritower down with me to end everything. It didn't work out as I had planned, but I understand the pain of losing someone close," said Helena as she stood up and walked in front of Archer, "Lets stop them all together."

Archer smiled and nodded

We will, just a matter of time

Mugen Tenshin Village

6:56am

Hayate quietly lied beside Hitomi who was sound asleep next to him, he stared at her quietly, thinking of everything they went through. He never thought he would be able to sleep next to Hitomi like they were now. His life was full of violence and very little peace, he would never have thought there would be a chance of a family. Hitomi was that chance and through everything they had been through, she stuck by him.

He was shaken from his thoughts when his door slid opened and Kasumi walked in. Hayate stood up gently, careful not to awaken Hitomi and walked out the room with Kasumi.

"She hardly slept while you were in a coma, she took care of you well," said Kasumi as she walked with Hayate.

"I'm sure you did your part to Kasumi and I thank you," said Hayate warmly.

"You have no reason to thank me, the only reason you were even in that coma was because of me. Even Hayabusa suffered due to my ignorance," said Kasumi painfully.

"It's in the past now and thankfully you are safe, but we have to find Hayabusa," said Hayate. Kasumi stopped moving, confusing Hayate as he looked back at her.

"I have found him," said Kasumi as she motioned for Hayate to enter the sliding door next to them, Hayate looked at the door.

"What do you mean you have found him?" asked Hayate confused.

"It took a while, but we found him. Understand Hayate that he is still trying to fight the fiend he unleashed and needs are support," said Kasumi calmly. Memories of Hayabusa and the ship flashed through his mind as he reluctantly put his hand on the door.

He slowly slid open the door and peered inside. Inside was Hayabusa sat in the center of the dark room, two candles were lit in front of him. He wore a white robe and his hair flowed freely down his shoulders. His eyes were closed as he appeared to be meditating.

Hayate stood quietly at the door, silently watching Hayabusa. Hayate grew stiff as he saw Hayabusa slowly open his eyes staring directly at him.

"Hayate," said Hayabusa camly.

"Ryu," said Hayate, trying to stay calm. Hayabusa stood up and walked over to Hayate. Hayate clenched his fist as Hayabusa stopped in front of him.

"I know there is much you want to say," said Hayabusa.

"You...Were not yourself," said Hayate.

"That is not an excuse for what I have done," said Hayabusa.

"No it is not, but at least your back with us," said Hayate as he smiled, "my friend."

Hayabusa smiled back and nodded, "indeed I am."

"We have much to discuss, its been a while from what I have been told," said Hayate.

"6 months, and we do not know anything that has happened with Donovan," said Kasumi.

'Donovan' thought Hayate as he remembered everything that took place within the ship.

"I saw Donovan on that ship, but I heard that he abandoned it," said Hayate.

"I haven't heard anything about it, are searches were more focused I finding Ryu," said Kasumi.

"Haven't you heard from Ayane?" asked Hayabusa.

"No, she never returned here," said Kasumi worried.

"We need to go to Helena," said Hayate.

"Lets get our equipment then leave, I have too first see Momiji," said Hayabusa as he excused himself and left. Hayate watched Ryu walk away as Kasumi watched him.

"What troubles you brother?" asked Kasumi concerned.

"When you said that he was fighting the fiend he unleashed, what did you mean?" asked Hayate as he fully turned to Kasumi. Kasumi sighed as she remembered what happened.

"When I first found him, he was shot by a policeman at Tokyo Tower. Due to the fiend blood coursing through him, his wounds slowly healed themselves. I had the village priest try to exorcise the fiend, but they had little luck. We had to chain him up to keep him from killing everyone in the village," said Kasumi sadly.

"How did you manage to get him back?"

"I talked with him, he would become less violent when he saw me. Eventually, the exorcism were more successful and we were able to get him back, but the fiend remains in his head,"

"What do you mean?"

"Ryu said that while he had regained control of his body, his mind was still occupied by the fiend he unleashed. They seem to share his mind and because of this, he has to fight of his fiendish urges. Hopefully one day he can free himself from the control of the fiend, but till then we can't always trust that his action are his,"

Hayate thought about what Kasumi said carefully, certain actions that Hayabusa would make may not be him but the fiend. This would make things difficult for them as they had to keep a constant watch on Ryu.

"We need to keep an eye on him to avoid innocent blood shed," said Hayate calmly.

"I will watch him, what he did was for me, I will stand by him," said Kasumi confidently to Hayate's surprise.

"Well, we need to get ready, lets head for the armory," said Hayate as both he and Kasumi walked on.

Momiji sat quietly, deep in meditation in one of the rooms of the Mugen Tenshin Village. In front of her was her weapon, the Heavenly Dragon Naginata.

"Your equipment is in that basket, master," said Momji, never moving from her place. Hayabusa walked in fully to the room as he crossed his arms.

"Your senses have improved," said Hayabusa simply. Momji opened her eyes and looked at Ryu.

"Are you ok master?" asked Momji. Ryu nodded before moving over to the basket. On top was his signature weapon, the Dragon Sword.

"How did you find it?" asked Hayabusa as he picked up the sword.

"It was confiscated by police when that ship washed ashore, I stole it back," said Momji.

"Thank you Momji," said Hayabusa as he gathered the rest of his equipment and began to leave the room. He stopped at the door and looked back at Momji.

"I have a mission for you Momiji, one of the utmost importance," said Hayabusa. Momiji stood up and stared at Hayabusa.

"Anything master,"

"I need you to shadow me and watch my movements, this Fiend I have awoken will prove to be bothersome and may cause me to do things. If this happens, I need you to stop me." said Hayabusa.

"I will master," said Momiji as she gathered her weapon. Hayabusa nodded as he left the room, leaving Momiji alone. She sighed as she began to think about the mission she was given, one question remained in her head the entire time.

What if I can't stop you master?

11:23pm

Alister sat quietly in the small room which had just a television and chair. He sat as he always did in the chair except the television was off, his dark eyes staring into the black display.

He was defeated against all odds, he had total control and still failed. It was eating at him, his perfect plan in shambles, his pride ruined.

The door to his small room opened, a man in a lab coat stepped in.

"Donovan wants to see you in his office sir," said the man, Alister continued to sit quietly, ignoring the man. Eventually the man left nervously, leaving Alister to himself.

He did not want to see anyone, but Donovan summoning him was interesting. Especially since he never did. Alister stood and walked out the room, heading for Donovan's office.

When he reached Donovan's office, he saw that Rig was already inside sitting. He wore a white tank top and black pants. He gave Alister a dirty look as he walked past him and to an empty seat. Alister saw that Donovan was behind his desk looking at a large bulletin board with several notes and pictures. He wore a black suit with the same mask he always wore.

"Thank you both for coming," said Donovan as he turned around and faced them.

"What this about," asked Rig curiously. Alister stood quiet and listened.

"I have decided to retake control of this project," said Donovan simply.

"You what!?" shouted Rig as he stood.

"Yes, I think that is for the best. You have made very little progress with anything since I have returned to this facility and while the reports on Kasumi are well done, the fact that she escaped is unacceptable," said Donovan calmly.

"The only reason you know of Harpus is because of me!" shouted Rig angrily.

"That may be true, but now we don't even have a replica of the drug, your team has not been able to replicate the formula. For 6 months I have waited and nothing has come of it," said Donovan simply. Rig opened his mouth but eventually closed it, their was nothing he could do, his father was right after all. Rig cursed as he stormed out the office, leaving Alister and Donovan by themselves.

"As for you, you underestimated your enemy and lost both targets," said Donovan, Alister stayed quiet, uninterested.

"I have located them both and have taken steps," said Donovan, Alister gave a bored and tired look.

"If by steps, you must mean you sent a large group of armed men to eliminate them. I'd say that is foolish, considering that it has not worked before," said Alister simply.

"Not this time, Helena has no soldiers or security on her ship, just a standard ship crew. Taking control of the ship and executing Helena and her friends should be no problem for a team with my head assassin Christie leading the way," said Donovan as he sat at his desk.

"You do what you need to do, but do not blame me if it ends in failure. I will kill Archer and his little friend, of that I am certain," said Alister as he stood and walked out the office. Donovan sat quietly as he watched the door shut close. He then pulled out a cell phone and made a call.

This is Donovan, take the ship

Middle of Ocean

2:10am

Eliot quietly walked around the deck of the ship, no matter how hard he tried, he just couldn't sleep. He felt uneasy and anxious, his mind constantly returning to his father and Ayane. He needed to find her before she ended up like his father, Eliot saw first hand how easy it was for Alister to kill. He kept remembering the moment when his father was taken and Alister's last words to him.

Remember who destroyed your world

Eliot clenched his fist tight as he leaned against the railing of the ship. He would never forget just what Alister took from him, and he would not forgive him either.

"Maybe I am a monster, but I will get you Alister if it's the last thing I do," said Eliot to himself as he tried to contain his rage.

"Are you ok Eliot?" said a female voice from behind Eliot. Eliot turned and saw Kasumi, Ryu, and Hayate standing behind him. Both Ryu and Hayate wore their signature outfits while Kasumi wore a black ninja outfit which seemed lightly armored. Ryu and Hayate's faces were emotionless while Kasumi's was full of concern as she moved closer to a startled Eliot.

"Kasumi? You found her?" asked Eliot as he looked at Hayate and Ryu.

"We have much to discuss, where is Helena?" asked Hayate impatiently.

"If you found her? Do you know where Donovan is?" asked Eliot slightly desperate. Hayate frowned as he looked down.

"I'm afraid not, Kasumi never saw the outside of the facility," said Hayate disappointed with his lack of progress, "much has happened and we need to speak with Helena."

"She is where she always is," said Eliot disappointed as he stared back at sea. Both Ryu and Hayate nodded as they walked away, leaving Eliot and Kasumi alone.

"Eliot, have you seen Ayane?" asked Kasumi hopefully. Eliot's head fell deep as he heard the question, he hated to be the one to tell her of his failure to protect her.

"She...She was captured," said Eliot simply, not wanting to delve into it anymore.

"Captured!? How?" asked Kasumi shocked.

"By a man named Alister, he works for Donovan," said Eliot.

"This...This cant be happening," said Kasumi as she held her head, the guilt of everything that had happened in the past slowly running through her mind.

"I hate that it's happening this way, but it is. I am sorry Kasumi," said Eliot as he closed his eyes. Kasumi's eyes teared as she rushed away from Eliot, leaving him to his thoughts. Their was nothing else he could say, only the truth. It pained him, but he had to push on.

He had to keep it together for Ayane

Both Helena and Archer sat in her office talking when the speaker on her desk.

"Maam, you have visitors," said the voice.

"Send them in," said Helena confused. The doors to the room opened as both Ryu and Hayate walked in, Kasumi stood behind them, her face disturbed.

"Well here you are, and it looks like you have found Kasumi," said Helena as she sat straight up in her chair.

"Much has happened and we need to be brought up to speed," said Hayate. Ryu looked at Archer and gave him a nod which he returned. Hayate and Kasumi looked at Archer and then back at Helena. Helena smiled lightly at their confusion.

"This is Detective John Archer, I'm sure Hayabusa has told you of him?" said Helena.

"Yes, a little bit. It's nice to meet you, this is my sister Kasumi," said Hayate as he tried to be polite.

"Nice to meet you both, let's get on with it then," said Archer simply as he grabbed the ashtray off Helena's desk and moved to the window.

The ninjas, Helena, and Archer talked about all that happened during their time apart. The reality was that both sides were no closer to Donovan than when they started.

"So we have no idea where Donovan is?" said Hayabusa calmly.

"So far no, he has been good about covering his tracks. All we know is that he is somewhere in California," said Helena.

"What about Ayane? Has no one seen her?" asked Kasumi. Both Helena and Archer sighed at the thought.

"How was she captured, you said Eliot witnessed it," said Hayate slightly angry, "why is he even still here?"

"He's involved in this, now more than ever," said Archer simply.

"It dangerous for him to be here, he has no training for this. Was he the reason that Ayane was captured!?" shouted Hayate angrily. Archer locked his eyes on Hayate in a cold gaze.

"Ayane was kidnapped while Alister executed Eliot's father right in front of him and then framed him for the crime which he served 6 months in prison for," said Alister as calmly as he could, both Hayate and Kasumi's were shocked by what he said.

"They killed his father?" Asked Hayabusa remorsefully, fully now aware of what he felt when he saw Eliot on the deck.

"Yes, and he is enraged. No one will stop him from seeing this through. If you did not know before, he cares for Ayane and blames himself for everything. I will not let you blame him as well," said Archer firmly.

"My apologies, I did not know," said Hayate, slightly ashamed. Archer nodded as a long silence held in the room.

"Regardless of whats happened before, we need to work together to find him. How well do you know California?" asked Hayabusa, breaking the silence.

"I know it well, all I need is a piece of evidence to find him. Me and Eliot followed every lead to a T and I seriously thought we were on the right track before Alister entered the picture," said Archer.

"Then we need to pick up in California where you left off," said Hayabusa.

"Me and Eliot are both fugitives for now, whatever we do, we must do quietly," said Archer.

"If one of you do not mind, I need you to find someone for me in China, 6 months ago, he wanted to help us before we were attacked and needed to go into hiding," said Helena.

"Who?" asked Kasumi curiously.

"Jahn Lee, I do not know what he knows, but it may prove beneficial to bring him here," said Helena.

"Will find him," said Hayate simply.

Archer lit a cigarette as he watched Helena and the ninjas make certain preparations. He turned his head and looked out the window to the sea. It was then that he saw a set of lights in the distance.

"What the hell?" said Archer as he focused more on the lights as they slowly got closer. Both Helena and the ninjas stopped talking when the began to notice the same lights.

"Whats going on?" asked Helena as she looked towards the lights. As they came in view, Archer finally realized what they were.

"That looks like an attack helicopter and I have a strange feeling they aren't friendly," said Archer as he pulled out a silver colt 1911.

Eliot thoughts were interrupted when he heard the loud sound of a helicopter flying above the ship. He looked up and saw several people rappelling down onto the ship. Eliot's instincts kicked in as he quickly found a hiding spot and watched quietly.

The group of men were heavily armed and in tactical equipment, the same type of equipment that he had seen when Archer's home was attacked.

He kept watch until he saw another person repel out the ship, a very familiar person.

'That's Christie,' thought Eliot as he watched Christie stand between the men, looking around the ship. She wore a black jumpsuit with her cleavage fully exposed, a pistol was seen in a holster on her waist.

At one point, Eliot had a crush on the flirty Christie, who used her looks to baffle unsuspecting men. Now she was possibly one of the few who could tell him where to find Donovan. Eliot moved as close as he could to hear what she was saying.

"Team A will secure the bridge while team B will follow me," said Christie as she drew her pistol and began walking towards the area where Helena's office was located.

Eliot followed Christie's team, which consisted of her and 3 other people, into the ship. They stopped at the main desk, startling the man sitting down. Christie leaned on the desk seductively while holstering her weapon.

"I need to see the princess now," said Christie seductively, amused by the scared man.

"I...I don't have clearance," said the man shakily.

"Oh I'm sure you do love," said Christie as she pulled out a small knife and began playing with it in her hands. Eliot had to do something, he couldn't let her hurt him.

"Christie," said Eliot as he stepped out of hiding, both Christie and the armed men looked at Eliot, taking aim and firing. Eliot ducked under the bullets and began running out, dodging more gunfire.

"After him!" shouted Christie as her and the men ran after Eliot. Eliot ran behind a crate on the deck and ducked down. He heard one of the men nearby, getting closer to his spot, he prepared himself for a fight until he heard several gunshots and the man falling next to him. Eliot peaked out of cover but could not see what saved him.

Eliot!" shouted a voice from above, Eliot looked up and saw Archer at Helena's office window, a smoking gun in his hands, "get to safety!"

Eliot nodded and jumped up, another man jumped in front of him, but Eliot was on him fast, slamming his fist into his stomach. The man fell to his knee while Eliot pulled the mans helmet off and struck him in the face hard, sending him to the ground.

Eliot quickly moved off the deck and to the center of the ship, he heard the voice of another man behind him as he ran. The man began to fire, but was quickly stopped as Kasumi leapt on his back, using the force of her body to slam him to the ground. Eliot kept running until he saw Christie appear ahead of him, she pulled her pistol to late as Eliot kicked the weapon from her hand and followed with another kick to her face. Christie flew to the floor as Eliot quickly recovered.

"Bad move little boy," said Christie as she stood back up and readied herself for a fight.

She quickly began to strike at Eliot like a snake, aiming for his vitals with each attack. Eliot deflected each shot before unleashing his powerful fist attacks, but was parried by Christie as she grabbed his arms and tossed him to the side, sending him to the ground.

"Too slow boy!" said Christie with a laugh. Eliot quickly recovered to her surprise following up with a round house kick towards her head, Christie ducked under his kick, but was startled when he fell to the ground and followed up with a sweeping attack, sending her to the ground. Eliot quickly stood up and delivered a hard kick to her side sending her flying. Christie tried to stand up, but the sharp pain in her stomach made it hard. She saw that her pistol was not far from her, she tried to crawl quickly towards it, but Eliot got to it first. He swiftly picked it up and aimed it at her, a look of dread was strewn on her face.

"That's enough Christie!" shouted Eliot as he kept the weapon raised at her head.

"No such a little boy anymore," said Christie as she rolled on her back, "now your even pointing guns at people."

Archer, Kasumi, and Helena ran over to Eliot, Archer pointed his gun at Christie as well.

"Who the fuck are you?" said Archer angrily, but Helena stepped forward over her.

"This is the woman who killed my mother, Christie the assassin," said Helena as she coldly looked Christie in the eyes.

"Oh great, the ice queen is here," said Christie bored.

"Where is Donovan!" shouted Eliot, Helena backed away from Christie as Eliot and Archer moved in close.

"I'm afraid I do not know," said Christie simply.

"That's bullshit!" said Archer angrily.

"We that's all you will get from me," said Christie with a sinister smile. Archer was about to threaten Christie when he was interrupted by a loud gunshot nearby. Christie screamed in pain as she clutched her leg.

Archer looked at Eliot slightly shocked, unprepared for his actions.

"You shot me, You snake!" snarled Christie as she held her leg.

"You better start talking or I will fire into your shoulder next!" Shouted Eliot as knelt next to her and violently jabbed her shoulder with the pistol. Christie once cocky face was replaced with one of fear, she had never been shot before and could not imagine getting shot again.

"I..I swear I don't know!" said Christie fearfully.

"You liar!" shouted Eliot as he began to pull the trigger, but was stopped by Helena who put her hands on his shoulder.

"Please Eliot, this is not you!" shouted Helena desperately, frightened by Eliot's actions.

"But she knows where Donovan is," said Eliot, his eyes never leaving Christie's.

"Eliot, I think she is telling the truth, she doesn't know anything," said Archer darkly as he knelt on the other side of her, "but you do know some things don't you? Your going to tell us or I will let Eliot continue on you."

Christie looked at Archer and nodded, Eliot stood up and threw the gun to the side, walking towards the deck of the ship. He leaned on the deck as he tried to calm himself down. He didn't know what came over him, one minute he was fighting Christie, the next he was shooting her in the leg. He felt uncontrollable anger, especially when another possible lead to Donovan vanished.

Helena and Kasumi walked to Eliot and stood close.

"Eliot, are you sure your ok?" said Kasumi worried.

"I'm fine," said Eliot simply as he continued to try and control his breathing as master Gen Fu taught him too when he felt anger.

"You didn't look ok, you would have killed her," said Helena equally worried.

"Whatever it takes to find Donovan, we WILL find Donovan," said Eliot as he attempted to justify his knowingly wrong actions "If we have to use force, then so be it."

Both Kasumi and Helena could say nothing as Eliot continued to try to calm himself.

Hayate and Ryu took care of the remaining men who tried to take over the bridge, the ship was secure and Christie was captured. To Eliot, that was a step in the right direction, he kept justifying his actions by reminding himself of one thing...

No mercy

"Sir, I haven't heard anything back from Christie or her team," said A male in a lab coat to Donovan who had his back to him.

"Thank you," said Donovan simply as he dismissed the man. Donovan calm, but would not lie that the news disappointed him.

"It seems that I need to up the stakes," said Donovan as he smiled at the large tube in front of him.

Ayane floated inside the tube, the liquid within slowly began to drain until it was all gone. Donovan looked at her patiently until he saw the proper reaction.

Her eyes slowly began to open
