Dragon Ball NA
Last time on NA: The Earth Fighters' training for the last five years was in preperation for the Were-Lygers' contest. Tenchu was the first match against Rekk, the second strongest Were-Lyger on Lygeria. Now that both sides know what to expect from each other, they are making mental plans against their match when they get called up. Can they survive the contest? Stay tuned to Dragon Ball NA.
As the crowd's cheering finally subsided, the announcer called two random human fighters to the ring. Tenchu returned to Rugai's group, and told them what happened during their high speed fight. "They can increase their speed to try and get the upper hand. But what concerns me is that this Rekk guy, didn't transform during tha match." Tenchu's observation got everyone thinking. Kanashimi spoke up.
"In what they called 'berserk mode', they cannot control their actions, and attack anyone with blind rage. Being the person they are currently fighting, or someone random. From what rumors about them when Planet Vegeta was still a planet, only War can control that form. Why did they have this human, take on the second strongest Were-Lyger and not me? I'm the one who took on that Corrynthia chick and won. They should've had me take on Rekk. I'm so pissed right now, I want to punch someone right now. You! Human that took on Rekk, fight me seriously. You held back considerably against him and won." Tenchu knew Kanashimi's Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan 2 forms, and really didn't want to spar with her.
Back in Were-Lyger locker room, Rekk retold his bout with the human that traveled with the Saiyan King. "He has the honor of the Saiyans. I'm really going to enjoy my fight with the King. I'm really going to enjoy this." War started laughing with excitement, Rekk just stayed bowed in fear of War killing him.
The matches between the humans was boring the audience. The announcer called the match, and decided to have another match with a Were-Lyger. "Ladies and gentlemen, we will take a five minute recess, for everyone to stretch their legs and get something to eat!" Most of the spectators left, while others just stood up and talked about Tenchu's fight with Rekk. In the VIP room, the non combatants discussed who would fight next. Ryu demanded everyone to look at him, when that didn't work, he turned into a Super Saiyan right in front of everyone. Deena was shocked, so was everyone except Bull and Darryn.
"I thought only full blooded Saiyans could go Super Saiyan? Ryu is only half Saiyan and he has a Super mode. This information doesn't input well." Bull stood by Darryn, and placed his hand on his shoulder.
"I guess if all is needed is Saiyan blood, even half blooded Saiyans has that transformation. The boy probably knew that his son has this ability, and didn't want anyone else to know. He keeps surprising me, even at this age." Bull sat back at the table, and pulled out his tablet again, and started creating new things on it.
The five minute recess was over, and as the spectators went back to their seats, the announcer called the Were-Lyger Seknit, and Kanashimi to the ring. Kanashimi was excited enough to push everyone to the side, and forced her way to the ring. She was getting irritated that he was late getting into the ring, and was tapping the ground with her right foot and her left arm with her right hand. The announcer called Seknit twice within two minutes of waiting in between. Kanashimi exploded in anger, transforming her into a Super Saiyan, demanding that he gets out to the ring or she starts destroying the place. Seknit finally got to the ring, not feeling amused by Kanashimi's current attitude. "You have some unresolved issues. All that anger will kill you if you can't keep it under control." Kanashimi powered up again, turning into her newly stable Super Saiyan 2 form. Seknit exhaled a breath, and did some powering up.
"Now that these two fighters are ready...match start!" Kanashimi rushed Seknit with extreme fierceness, and threw a punch at him. Seknit either dodged or blocked her attack. She followed up with a series of punches and kicks, which Seknit either blocked or dodged them. Kanashimi got angrier, put her open hands in front of her, and charged up her attack.
"Double Big Bang Attack!" She launched two large balls of energy at Seknit. Seknit crossed his arms over his face, and took the attack. After the attack connected, smoke and dust covered the entire ring, and seeped its way towards the fighters' waiting room. Rugai, and the rest of his group, just stared at the monitor without making any sound. the rest of the contestants, was getting scared, and started to leave after telling the official that they're dropping out from witnessing Kanashimi's attack. As the smoke and dust cleared the ring, both fighters was no where to be seen.
"I can't even follow them. Even with my fusion with Fyre, I can't even predict where they're going to be. What about you guys?" Rugai just stood there, everyone else was like Ferno. "She really is going all out with Seknit. Hope she doesn't make a mistake."
"She already made many, one of the biggest was going Super Saiyan 2 before the match even started. Seknit is just toying with her now." Nobody was surprised that Kanashimi was hot headed, or that she was very aggressive in her fights. "This match was over before it even started."
Kanashimi and Seknit reappeared in the ring. Kanashimi was breathing heavily, while Seknit was nearly covered in bruises. "Don't toy with a Saiyan! Give me...your...all..." Kanashimi fell to the ground, and reverted to her normal state. Seknit picked her up and carried her back into the waiting room. Shortly after, Seknit gently placed Kanashimi on one of the benches, then turned towards the Earth Fighters.
"She'll get mad that she lost the match, and angrier that I showed mercy. Please tell her that If she gets her anger under control, I will take her seriously next time." Vivek, O'ja and Celude was shocked to hear the words Seknit said. Rugai just nodded. "War is excited to have the official bout with the Saiyan King, and regardless of who wins, War wants to keep our relations between our two races strong. That was the message my lord wanted to pass onto you." Seknit bowed and took his leave. Everyone who was consious, looked at Rugai wanted to know what his plan is.
"Hate to say this, but don't be like Kanashimi when you fight. But you all already knew that." Everyone just nodded. O'ja's name was spoken through the monitor, and psyched himself up a bit before heading towards the ring. Kanashimi woke up just in time to see the match started.
"Damnit! I hate losing!" Kanashimi transformed back into a Super Saiyan, and flew out of the arena, and towards the desert. Rugai sensed Kanashimi landing, and used his Instant Transmission, and was behind Kanashimi. "Leave me alone. I don't want to hear what you have to say." Rugai just kept silent, and crossed his arms. "Kill me for failing you and our Saiyan race." Rugai kept silent. Kanashimi turned around and pointed her right hand at him. "I failed as a Saiyan, I couldn't beat you after my first arrival on Earth. I tried to catch up to you and beat your ass and take the title as ruler of the Saiyan race." Rugai still kept silent. "You were the first to go Super Saiyan, you even went Super Saiyan 2 and kept surpassing me. WHY CAN'T I CATCH UP TO YOU!?" Kanashimi yelled at the top of her lungs, and fell to her knees, trying not to cry.
"I get you want the strength to achieve your goal. But, you are fighting for the wrong reason, and that anger is getting the best of you. Seknit is willing to fight you again, but you need to control that anger." Rugai turned around. "Look, head to the Lookout." He pointed in the direction of where its at. "Ask Mr. Popo to let you in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. You'll get a years worth of training in one day, and hopefully it will help you learn anger control." Rugai used his Instant Transmission, and returned to the arena's waiting room. Saba appeared behind Kanashimi the second Rugai left. "What the hell do you want fortune teller?" Saba hopped off his crystal ball, and leaned against it.
"He's right. When I trained you to control your Super Saiyan 2 form, I also trained you to control that anger as well. You didn't see the hidden part of your training, all you saw was maintaining your ascended level." Kanashimi got mad again, got up and grabbed Saba by the upper part of his cloak.
Back at the arena...
The announcer was calling the match between O'ja and Klebbelk. "Oh, O'ja hit Klebbelk with a strong right cross to the chin!" Nobody believed what the announcer said, almost nobody could follow anything during the high speed fighting. "Klebbelk knocked O'ja out of the sky with that downward kick!" O'ja hit the ring hard, causing cracks to be form. Klebbelk floated high in the air, and gathered enough energy to form a large ball above him. O'ja quickly got to his feet, inhaled deeply, and waited for Klebbelk to launch his attack. The Were-Lygers and the Earth Fighters, got into the match that's going on. Klebbelk finally fired his attack, O'ja waited for the right moment to fire his. The large ball of energy got halfway between them, O'ja finally fired a large beam from his mouth and eyes, making Klebbelk's attack go in reverse. "Ladies and gentlemen, do not be afraid, you are protected by a special barrier!" Klebbelk put more force into his attack, O'ja added two more energy beams from his hands. The stress of two colliding attacks, finally took their toll and exploded. Nearly everyone in the stands didn't know what was going on. Deena's group sensed O'ja and Klebbelk moved back to high speed fighting. Every blow that connected, made shockwaves that hit the energy barrier, which made the audience jump back a bit. "Our two combatants is giving everything they got!" Rugai was enjoying O'ja's fight, and was admiring how much stronger he got since his defect from Lyc.
"You are a worthy opponent, Saiyan." Klebbelk said as he and O'ja continued to trade blows.
"Thanks to my king, he has given me and my fellow brothers a second chance. I cannot let him down." O'ja used a right cross, Klebbelk did the same, forcing both of them to land outside on either sides of the ring.
"Double ring out! This is a complete first! Let's give these two a roaring applause!" The crowd did just that. Both O'ja and Klebbelk staggered to their feet, exhausted and sore. O'ja made a thumbs up at Klebbelk, and Klebbelk returned the guesture. Both got a couple of medics to carry them to the medical ward. "Ladies and Gentlemen, this contest is exciting, don't you agree!?" The crowd roard, few demanded bloodshed, but mostly they want the next fight. Ferno was next, his match against Leo, the third strongest Were-Lyger, ended with another tie. The crowd really got into these fights. Kanashimi finally returned to the waiting area, and sat on one of the benches. Vivek was already in the ring with his Were-Lyger opponent. And much like O'ja and Ferno's bout, also ended in a draw. Ivan's bout ended with a loss. Zupa was the final match before the main event, and barely scraped a win. Zupa passed out in the ring. The announcer called for a one hour break, not only for the audience to stretch their legs, but for the ring to be repaired.
