"She wont talk Archer," said Helena simply as she stared through the small window on the large door in front of her. Inside the room sitting on the other side of a table was Christie who stared coldly back at her. Archer walked beside her and stared in as well.

"Ya, probably not, but we need to keep the pressure on her," said Archer as he held a Styrofoam cup of coffee, "hang back, I'm going in."

"Why alone?" asked Helena curiously.

"She don't like you, and will say nothing to you," said Archer as he opened the large, heavy door and stepped in. Christie gave him a seductive smile as he sat across from her, setting his cup of coffee on the table. They eyed each other for a bit, both reading the each other.

"Well, where to start," said Archer, breaking the silence.

"I don't know love, I'm already bound so that's a start," said Christie seductively as she leaned slightly forward revealing more of her cleavage.

"Tempting, but I'll pass. I'm more interested in where Donovan is," said Archer sarcastically.

"Business before pleasure is so dull,"

"Pleasure with an assassin is a lot like playing with a landmine,"

"Exciting?" mused Christie.

"Dangerous," said Archer as he took a sip of coffee.

"You don't find me attractive?" said Christie as she continued with the seduction.

"Most girls I find attractive have the ability to walk," shot back Archer, it was at that moment he saw a flash of anger from Christie's eyes, a weak point.

"A simple mistake," said Christie calmly.

"Mistake? Amateurs make mistakes, but your supposed to be a professional. A professional that was gunned down by an untrained kid,"

Christie clenched her fist but tried to stay calm, simply smiling at Archer.

"What did Donovan even see in you? He had to of known that Helena had back up on her own ship but yet he sends you into the lion's den with a handful of laughable mercs? Sounds to me like he wants you out the way,"

"You don't know anything about me, if I wasn't bound, you'd be dead," said Christie dangerously.

"Bound? You have a shot leg, how far could you actually get? I put the handcuffs on out of routine," said Archer sarcastically.

Christie gritted her teeth in anger, how she wanted to hurt Archer. Archer knew he had her right where he wanted her.

"So where is Donovan?" asked Archer

"Why would I tell you that?" said Christe.

"I don't know, it is why I brought you in here. But I'm starting to think you don't know shit," said Archer as he pulled out a smoke.

"You don't know what I know, and that's where you lose," said Christie grinning.

"No I'm sure I do, I checked your phone. Several texts asking where to meet up with who I assume is Donovan. Several denials to actually meet, which means you don't know where he is. This same private number even called you a few hours ago, for what? More orders? Confirming orders? He didn't even bother calling you back to check on you," said Archer, Christie was reaching her boiling point, "Face it, your old news which he used and threw to the dogs."

"YOU KNOW NOTHING! DONOVAN WILL COME AND GET ME! YOU THINK YOUR SAFE BECAUSE YOUR OUT AT SEA!" shouted Christie, her British accent was thick out of her rage.

"We'll see another Helicopter coming and gun it down, that wont be a problem," said Archer with a smirk as he lit his cigarette.

"How about a ship! A large ship full of grunts ready to go to hell for Donovan!" shouted Christie.

"Ship!? HA! Sorry to break it to ya, but Donovan's ship is in Japan under police custody for several unexplained deaths. They probably dismantled the shit and turned it into coffee cans!" Laughed Archer.

"You think that's the only ship he has! You're a fool!" said Christie, Archer stopped laughing and looked at her hard. Christie laughed out loud enjoying his silence.

"Not so cocky now are you! Donovan will come and kill you all!" shouted Christie as she laughed triumphantly.

"So...Donovan has a ship, a ship which is ready to sail out and kill us?" said Archer carefully.

"Scared?"

"Quite the opposite, in fact you have been a big help," said Archer with a grin as he jumped up and began to walk out the room.

"YOU KNOW NOTHING!" shouted Christie as Archer left the room. Outside was Helena with a confused look.

"What did she say that helped?" asked Helena.

"We need to get back to California," said Archer as he and Helena walked away. The pieces were finally falling into place in Archer's mind.

I got you now you son of a bitch

Eliot stared at himself in the bathroom mirror as he straightened up his coat. He stared deeply into his own tired eyes and tried to smile, but it was a sad smile.

'Who am I kidding?' thought Eliot as his smile faded away. Eliot turned off the light and left the restroom, reentering his room. The room was simple and contained a bed, chair, television, dresser, and telephone. On the bed was some clothes and an empty bag.

Eliot moved to the bed and began putting the clothes in the bag, upon lifting the last piece of clothing, Eliot saw something he was becoming all to familiar with.

A silver 38 revolver lied on the bed, the same one he took from Alister at the prison. Eliot dropped the bag back on the bed and picked up the pistol. Eliot gave the cylinder a spin as he watched it, examining it in detail. By no means did Eliot like guns, he saw first hand what such a weapon could do, but he knew that it was a necessity for what he was about to do. He stuffed the pistol in his coat pocket and tried to forget about it, it was bad enough the Archer did not know he had it, even worse was what he intended to do with it.

Eliot zipped up the bag and slung it to his shoulder as he left the room and headed to the deck of the ship.

It was time to get to work

Red Dragon Club

China

2:21pm

Hayabusa stood atop a large building overlooking the entrance to the club, beside him stood Kasumi who studied the area.

"Why are we here?" asked Kasumi. Hayabusa stood quiet and continued to look at the entrance. As soon as Hayabusa heard that Jahn Lee was involved, he immediately began to wonder if what he knew was related to the incident at the club which took place over 6 months ago. Jahn Lee was a bouncer and very well could have been the missing person in the room where the club owner was murdered. Hayate as well shared the same thought.

Hayabusa saw no other options, they would have to ask someone in the club about Jahn Lee, but they were dressed in full ninja gear.

"We need to change into something that fits that club, they wont let us in otherwise," said Hayabusa simply as he looked at Kasumi.

"It doesn't really matter what you wear, they will still see you as a monster," said Kasumi as she fully turned to Ryu.

"W..What did you say?" said Hayabusa shocked.

"I said where is the nearest clothing store?" said Kasumi, Hayabusa closed his eyes tightly and rubbed his temples.

"Hey Ryu," said Kasumi. Hayabusa opened his eyes only to see Kasumi coming at him with a dagger. On instinct, Hayabusa pulled out his sword and sliced at her before she could come closer. Kasumi screamed as she clutched her bleeding arm. Hayabusa breathed deep trying to figure out what happened.

"Ryu why!" shouted Kasumi with a shocked look, Hayabusa looked on the ground for the dagger, but it was nowhere to be found.

"Y...You..."said Hayabusa at a loss for words.

"Don't let the demon control you!" shouted Kasumi as she walked close to him. Hayabusa dropped the sword and fell to his knees grabbing both sides of his head. He could hear the demon laughing inside his head.

"I'm...I'm so sorry," said Hayabusa as he dropped his head in shame.

"Its alright, it's just a scratch. I'll wrap it up," said Kasumi as she pulled out some gauze wrap from a small satchel she carried with her. Hayabusa eyed her as she wrapped her arm, the cut was not deep and the blood was minimal. He hated himself for what he did, he hated the demon even more.

You should hate her, she weakens you

The voice was rang through Hayabusa's head like a loud-speaker. He ignored it and continued looking at Kasumi.

Kill her

Hayabusa continued to ignore it as he began to rub his temples.

She is weak

"SHUT UP!" shouted Hayabusa, startling Kasumi.

"Whats wrong Hayabusa?" asked Kasumi.

You cannot silence what you are dragon ninja! You are a killer! A murderer! You require flesh and blood to sate your growing appetite!

Hayabusa looked directly at Kasumi's arm, the droplets of blood dripping down her smooth creamy skin. He felt his mouth water as his desire to kill rose. He slowly grabbed for the sword beside him, horrifying Kasumi.

"Ryu, Fight it! Fight him!" said Kasumi as she knelt next to him. Hayabusa shook violently as he placed his sword close to her neck. Kasumi's eyes began to tear as she moved slowly towards him, kissing him on his lips to his shock. She pulled away and looked at him hard.

"I believe in you Ryu, I believe that you are still the man I love," said Kasumi as a tear rolled down her face. Hayabusa's eyes teared as well as he dropped the sword and pulled her into his embrace. He couldn't believe how close he came to killing her, the one person who would stand by him through anything.

Love will destroy you dragon ninja

Ryu held her tighter completely ignoring the demon, he may not be able to fight the demon on his own, but with Kasumi he could do anything.

She would save him from his fate

Jahn Lee's Apartment

China

2:45pm

Jahn Lee punched the sand bag a final time before backing away, his body covered in sweat. Lei Fang quietly watched him as if in a trance. Jahn Lee gave her a look as he wiped himself with a towel.

"You got something to say?" said Jahn Lee. Lei Fang's gave him an annoyed look.

"Don't be rude, I was just thinking is all," said Lei Fang annoyed.

"About?"

"For 6 months we have been here trying to figure out whats happened to everyone and it seems we made no progress,"

"Is that what you think?" asked Jahn Lee as he set down the towel.

"Am I wrong?" asked Lei Fang confused.

"We may not know where they are, but we know who could lead us to him,"

"Miyako?" asked Lei Fang.

"After all the digging we have done, you still don't think that? We know now that she set up the meeting with Donovan and my old boss. Which means she knows something," said Jahn Lee.

"But Kokoro's mother works for DOATEC," said Lei Fang.

"Which we need to confirm still," said Jahn Lee, "she could be working both sides."

"And how are we going to confirm this?"

"Look, I have to go to work, we will talk later," said Jahn Lee as he walked into his bathroom leaving Lei Fang alone. Lei Fang sighed as she stood up and left the apartment. Once outside, she began to walk home.

For 6 months, she and Jahn Lee had done everything to find Donovan and Christie. There were many roadblocks along the way, but they were able to uncover much, such as the ninja's going to the bar Jahn Lee worked at to the involvement of Miyako. Part of her was scared at what they would find if they continued, but she would stand by Jahn Lee to wherever he would go.

"Lei Fang," said a voice behind her, she turned around only to be greeted by a familiar face. Hayate walked up to her dressed in a white t-shirt and blue pants.

"Hayate? H...How are you?" said Lei Fang, she didn't know if she should be happy of frightened, he was one of the people at the bar 6 months ago.

"I am well, how are you," asked Hayate with a light smile. Lei Fang simply nodded and smiled back.

"Look I need to ask you something, is there a place we could talk?" asked Hayate. Lei Fang felt a slight panic, but did not want to spook him.

"There's a Tea house not far from here where we could go," said Lei Fang.

"Ok, let's go there," said Hayate as he followed Lei Fang.

"What did you want to talk about?" asked Lei Fang as calmly as she could.

"Why are you frightened of me Lei Fang?" asked Hayate calmly. Lei Fang stopped and bit her lip, she turned and forced a smile.

"I'm not frightened," she said.

"Yes you are, but I don't understand why," said Hayate as he stared at her hard, "do you know what I am going to ask."

Lei Fang knew exactly, but she did not know what to do. She did not know what Hayate's intentions were and she would not let him harm Jahn Lee. She stared at him hard as he continued studying, the words came out determined and confident.

I will not let you harm Jahn Lee

Red Dragon Club

China

4:00pm

Jahn Lee entered through the doors of the club and headed to the lobby.

"Hey Lee!" shouted one of the bouncers standing next to the bar. Jahn Lee walked over to him and nodded.

"Some guy and girl were asking for ya earlier, I think they are sitting over there," said the bouncer as he pointed at a table in the back of the club. Jahn Lee looked and made complete eye contact with Hayabusa who stared back. Jahn Lee gave the bouncer another nod before walking over to the table.

Both Hayabusa and Kasumi sat at the table, Hayabusa was dressed in a black suit with a white collared shirt and no tie while Kasumi wore a blue dress with a white coat. Jahn Lee approached the table and sat.

"I've been waiting for you, don't know if your here to kill me or help me," said Jahn Lee simply.

"Were not here to harm you, we just want to find Donovan," said Kasumi calmly.

"That makes two of us, but what are your plans for him?"

"To kill him and his son," said Hayabusa darkly. Kasumi had a worried look on her face.

"I don't know about his son, but I want him dead as well," said Jahn Lee.

"What happened here 6 months ago? Were you the missing person?" asked Hayabusa.

Jahn Lee told them the entire story of what happened while they filled him in on what happened on their end.

"So that stuff he got from my boss is what he wanted?" asked Jahn Lee.

"Thats what we were able to find out, now we just need to find him," said Kasumi.

"I may know someone who knows this information, her name is Miyako," said Jahn Lee, Hayabusa's gaze darkened.

"Miyako? Why would she know?" asked Hayabusa.

"She's the one that set up the meeting between Donovan and my boss," said Jahn Lee.

"She what!?" shouted Hayabusa, shocking Kasumi.

"Calm down Ryu," said Kasumi as she placed her hand on his shoulder. Hayabusa looked back at her and calmed.

So she betrayed you

Hayabusa shook his head, ignoring the demon.

"Thing is, I was told she worked for DOATEC," said Jahn Lee.

"No she doesn't, after Helena found out of her involvement with Donovan, she stripped her of her duties to the company. She now runs a geisha house in Japan," said Hayabusa as he remembered his conversation with her.

"Then we need to talk with her, find out what she knows," said Jahn Lee, Hayabusa nodded. Jahn Lee looked fully at Hayabusa.

"Afterwards we can kill her for her betrayal," said Jahn Lee with a smile.

"Yes we can," said Hayabusa with a smirk.

"We can what?" asked Jahn Lee. Hayabusa looked at him confused.

"Didn't you say..." Hayabusa stopped himself when he realized what happened. The demons laugh echoed in his head.

Go ahead dragon ninja, tell them what you want to do

Hayabusa had to stay in control, he calmed himself down and ignored the demon.

"Nothing,"said Hayabusa simply, Jahn Lee gave him a confused look.

"We have to find Hayate, he was going to talk to Lei Fang," said Kasumi quickly.

"I'll call her, see if he ran into her," said Jahn Lee as he stood up and walked towards the bar.

"Are you ok Hayabusa?" asked Kasumi when Jahn Lee was clear.

"The demon is toying with me, he's making me see things that aren't really happening," said Hayabusa calmly.

"Your ok, we will get through this," said Kasumi confidently. Hayabusa nodded as he fell into his thoughts. A glaring thought kept ringing through his head.

5:36am

Zack sat in the Helicopter waiting for Eliot and Archer. Archer stood at the deck finishing his cigarette when Eliot came walking up.

"Hey," said Archer simply as he stomped out the rest of the cigarette.

"Hey," returned Eliot as he stood at the deck.

"How we doing?" asked Archer.

"I'm alright, ready to end this,"

"You and me both friend," said Archer as he stared at the sea. Eliot looked down ashamed.

"I'm sorry I dragged you into this John, I never wanted this to happen this way," said Eliot sincerely.

"Hey, enough of that shit. Were friends Eliot, and this is what friends do, were gonna find this bastard, together," said Archer. Eliot smiled and nodded.

"You mean all of us are," said a female voice behind them, they both turned and saw Helena who was carrying a bag.

"Wait you can't come!" said Archer shocked.

"I'm tired of sitting on this ship while you both do all the work, if you don't like it...Piss off!" shouted Helena with a smile.

"Piss off? Well I haven't heard that in a long time," said Archer with a smirk. Eliot smiled as well trying to enjoy a little humor.

Things were finally falling into what the didn't know was...

the real fight would now begin

Ayane's eyes opened as she quickly looked around the area she was in. It looked like she was on a rooftop. She saw that she was dressed in a blue tight-fitting jumpsuit. She stood up cautiously as she continued to examine her surroundings.

"Did you sleep well?"

Ayane turned towards the voice and saw a lone man standing across from her in a white suit and black mask.

"You," said Ayane simply as she prepared to attack.

"Stay calm," said Donovan as he pointed at a neighboring building. Ayane looked towards the building and saw a red beam aim straight at her chest, She looked at Donovan angry.

"Trained sniper who I know is faster than you ninja, and just in case he isn't," said Donovan as he pointed at another neighboring building, a second red dot appeared on her head, "well then the other wont miss, and before I forget, your...protection."

Several mercenaries in tactical armor and weapons appeared around Donovan, weapons pointing at Ayane.

"You are completely surrounded ninja, resistance would be foolish," said Donovan.

"What do you want?" asked Ayane darkly.

"I simply want you to stand there and wait, your friends are coming," said Donovan as he looked at his watch, soon he would make his move.

And both Archer and Eliot would be dead
