Christian's POV
She was standing in the hallway, looking at me. Serena. "Fancy meeting you here, Serena." I said, adjusting my cloak. She cleared her throat. "Actually, I followed you." Her face turned the palest shade of pink. "W-well we should hurry if we want to make it to the harbor. I think Chrom and Robin left for Ferox hours ago."
I turned to leave, but Serena ran up to me. "W-wait!" she said, putting a hand on my shoulder. "What is it, Serena?" I said, turning to face her. Our faces were about inches apart. "I just need to say this now. With the war coming and all…" She said, smoothing down the folds of her dress. "IREALLYREALLYLIKEYOUANDITHINKYOU'REAWESOME!" she practically yelled. Wow. "D-do you like me?" she said in a small voice. I opened my arms in response. She stepped into them for a hug and began crying lightly into my shoulder. "Just don't die, ok?" I smiled. "I'll crush the Valmese singlehandedly if I have to, Serena. I promise I won't be leaving you any time soon."
"Serena! Time to…" Alexis appeared at the other end of the hallway. She promptly dropped the book she was holding. "…March. I'll tell everyone you guys need a few minutes…" and then she vanished back into her room.
LUCINA'S POV
Its been a while since I've fought other humans. Anyway, as a soldier, I'm pretty impressed with the strategy Robin came up with. The Feroxi closed in the eastern side of the harbor. While the Valmese rushed to meet them, the Ylisseans came from the west and caught the Valmese off guard. However, they recovered much quicker than Robin probably suspected, and began to fight back with force.
The Ylisseans and Feroxi then fell into step on either side of the Shepherds, which included the future children, as we rushed to their warships. We ran without serious challenge, just the occasional soldier breaking through the ranks, until both lines broke at once and the enemies poured into the alley they had created.
"Dammit, DON'T LET THEM SCATTER YOU!" Basilio's voice roared over the clamor of the battle. However, his words came a little late as the battle separated into small battles breaking out everywhere from market stalls to rooftops. A Valmese archer to my left was flung off of his feet and into a market stall by a burst of wind magic, spilling melons everywhere.
Robin appeared at my side carefully taking down Valmese with each use of his Wind tome. "Handling ok?" he said, knocking a cavalier off his mount. The horse reared and stomped on his rider, and then immediately got shot chock full of arrows. I nodded and impaled a myrmidon in the chest. I pulled Falchion out of his chest and his sword fell onto the cobblestone with a clatter.
He fell to the ground, and I whirled around to meet an oncoming cavalier. He leaned down and attempted to gut me with his lance, but I jumped out of the way and slashed at his horse's legs. Like Chrom told me, the horse reared up, dangling the rider from the reigns.
Robin nodded in approval. "Pretty good technique. Did Chrom teach you that?" I nodded. "Duck!" Robin's tone changed so abruptly I hit the ground without question. He whipped out his Fire tome and blasted a barbarian off his feet with a searing bolt of heat.
I stood up, sighing. "Couldn't you have just said "'Hey Lucina, take out that barbarian behind you?" Robin laughed and drew his sword. "I could, but that was cooler." I rolled my eyes. "Oh gods, duck!" I yelled, looking behind him. Robin laughed. "Hey, you're finally developing a sense of…" He looked down at the sword poking through his stomach.
"Oh. That makes sense." He muttered, and then slumped to the ground, a pool of blood slowly flowing out of the wound. "LISSA! LISSA!" I screamed, looking around for my aunt. "You rang?" She asked, appearing at my shoulder. "FIX HIM!" I yelled, gesturing to Robin. Her gaze followed and her eyes widened. "Wow, that's pretty bad." Was all she said. She pulled out her mend staff and tapped it to the wound. Instantly the wound closed, ceasing the blood flow.
"He certainly is getting hurt a lot, huh?" Lissa said, putting her staff away. I shrugged. "Luck of the draw, I guess." Then, Cynthia hit the ground (On her Pegasus) and frowned at Robin. "Does he need a lift to the medic tent?" She asked, gesturing to Robin, "Or is he just taking a nap in a pool of blood?"
I glared at her. She nodded hurriedly, her blue curls bobbing up and down. "Sorry, no time for humor." She leaned down and slung Robin up onto her saddle and took off. "Is that safe? I mean, couldn't he fall off?" Lissa said, looking at Cynthia, who had become a small speck in the sky. "She can handle it. She's had lots of practice." I said, shivering.
"Right. Anyway, we gotta get to the warship, am I right?" Lissa said, pulling out her tome. I nodded. "Then let's kick some Valmese tush!" Lissa yelled, and started shooting searing bolts of heat into the crowd of enemies. I smiled, and slammed into the enemy ranks with vengeance.

For February vacation, I went to Florida, using my brother's laptop to keep writing. I was about to update this about a week ago when I realized I have no clue what my ff password was. I got home at about twenty minutes ago, unpacked, and posted this. Triple update today guys, I'm sorry for the wait.
