It was dark, just like she remembered it. But looking around her, she saw the transparent bodies of her friends.

Only she was physical in this mental place.

Ino stood on the very edge of Sakura's mind, before the ground dropped to oblivion.

"Alright, time to start remembering. Naruto, you first."

They were in the hospital, watching as Naruto was pacing around outside, hands clenching and unclenching.

It was the day of Bolt's birth.

He heard footsteps running down the hall and turned to see a seventh-month pregnant Sakura wattling to him.

"Sorry I'm late!" She panted. "I was collecting medicinal herbs outside the village when I heard. I came as fast as I could!"

"Sakura-chan, you shouldn't be moving so much in your condit-"

"Oh, shush," she scolded as she tried to catch her breath. "Tsunade had left earlier today to see the Godaime Mizukage and Shizune told me she had an important surgery to perform this afternoon so here I am."

Naruto hugged her. "Thanks, Sakura-chan, but I can't let you do that. You're heavily pregnant and shouldn't be using your chakra."

"Baka, I'm pregnant, not invalid."

"But-"

Sakura grasped his hands. "I swore to you I'd be here, Naruto. You always let me lean on you for support now please lean on me."

Naruto kissed her forehead. "Arigatou, Sakura-chan."

Sakura smiled and hummed.

"Also, you don't want to mess with me. I'm hormonal and still have my wicked strength."

Naruto pulled back with his hands up in surrender.

"Anything you say, Sakura-chan," he joked.

But he was serious at the same time.

Nobody wanted to hold a civilian woman's hand while she gave birth.

Fuck holding Sakura's. Or any kunoichi's for that matter.

Naruto felt fear in his gut but also mirth.

'Suck shit, teme,' Naruto's thought echoed around them. 'Enjoy holding Sakura-chan's hand during childbirth.'

Sasuke turned and glared at Naruto who laughed and scratched the back of his head sheepishly.

"It's true though, right?"

Oh, that look was not his friend. Naruto could tell if they were able to move their physical bodies freely, Sasuke probably would have decked him.

"Come on, you shouldn't be out here. You should be in there with her," Sakura interrupted his thoughts.

"But the nurse kicked me out."

"She what!?" Sakura snapped.

She grabbed his hand and dragged him into the birthing room. The first thing Naruto noticed was how much distress Hinata was in. Sakura's tempered glared settled on the midwife, grinding her teeth.

"I told you, Uzumaki-sama, you're not allowed-"

The moment the woman laid eyes on Sakura, her face paled.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" Sakura fumed as Naruto shoved passed the nurses to be by Hinata's side.

"Haruno-sama, w-what are you d-doing here?"

"Pack up your shit and get out. I will deliver this baby."

"B-But-"

"NOW!" Sakura screamed.

Maya jumped from her seat and briskly passed them. Sakura turned to the four other nurses and sent them a withering look.

"B-But you can't deliver the baby alone, Haruno-sama-"

"I can and I will. You ambitious, attention seeking bitches can find your fame elsewhere because you are not using this mother and baby as a way to further your career. Leave."

With nothing else to say, the other nurses left. Sakura took her place on Hinata's other side and started checking all her vitals.

"Alright, Hina-chan. Talk to me," Sakura spoke.

Hinata was practically in tears, she was that flustered.

"It hurts too much to lay on my back," she spoke. "They told me it was safer for the baby to be born while I am lying like this but he's pushing on my spine."

She was so scared. Sakura touched Hinata's cheek comfortingly with a warm smile.

"Don't worry, Hinata," Sakura soothed her, brushing her sweaty fringe back. "Everything is going to be okay. Let's start with getting you into a more comfortable position, okay?"

Hinata nodded and both Sakura and Naruto helped Hinata move on the bed. As Hinata was moving, Sakura let her hands feel Hinata's stomach to get a feel of the baby's position.

"Alright, with the baby's current placement, you might find this to be a lot better for you," the pinkette spoke as she helped Hinata to kneel on the bed, back straight.

Hinata released a large breath and quickly her stress level dropped as if the weight of the world was taken from her shoulders.

"That feels so much better," she sighed.

Sakura smiled.

"Now, don't you worry about the birth. Your position has no affect on the baby, aside from the fact that now you have gravity working with you to push out the baby. Many women find this position to be less painful, so you and the baby are not in more risk."

Hinata nodded tearily.

"I'm so glad you're here, Sakura-chan," she whimpered.

"You can count on me, Hina-chan."

The memory skipped to when Bolt had been brought into the world, kicking and screaming. Sakura quickly wrapped him and handed him to Hinata who was now lying down thanks to Naruto. Sakura watched the two, rubbing her own stomach.

"S-Sakura...I think there's something wrong with him," Hinata spoke up fearfully.

Sakura moved to her quickly and looked at the newborn. Indeed, he looked like he was struggling to breathe and from that, his eyes lulled.

"Please," Sakura spoke, holding her arms out for the child.

The Hyuga didn't hesitate for a moment as she handed the baby to the medic-nin. Against Naruto's wishes to not do anything that could put her or her baby at risk, Sakura's hands lit up with chakra. It didn't take her long to find the problem.

"His lungs haven't developed properly. He's able to exhale fine but not inhale."

"Please, help him!"

Naruto looked at her in conflict. He knew if she tried to help his son, she risks overexerting herself but it was his son!

He watched with hope and despair as Sakura concentrated, the glow around her hands burning brighter. Hinata clutched at his hand painfully tight but he returned the squeeze as they prayed for a miracle.

He couldn't lose his son. Not after just getting to meet him. He watched Sakura cradling his son and he couldn't help remembering a dream from so long ago, back in their Genin days when things were simpler and they wore rose coloured glasses.

Sakura cradling their child as they started a family together. He had wanted that for so long during his childhood. But glancing down at Hinata, he squeezed the blunette's hand again. Things were as they should be. They were both happy and starting their own families.

When the glow stopped, there was silence.

Naruto's stomach dropped as Hinata covered her mouth to mask her sobs. Sakura slowly traced the baby's whiskers before shuffling him around her arms. She swayed slightly on her feet.

"S-Sakura-cha-"

SMACK

Naruto watched her in slight bewilderment after she just spanked his son.

"Breathe," Sakura murmured before an ear-splitting wail filled the silence of the room.

Sakura walked to the frozen parents and offered the crying child to them. Hinata's hands shook as she reached for her son. Carefully handing her the child, the pinkette finally managed to tear her gaze away from familiar cerulean.

So many thoughts ran through Naruto's head but one stood out amongst the rest.

'My son is alive.'

Even now, Naruto could feel the tear slipping down his cheek in the physical world and thus, everyone else was aware of it due to the connection. It was one of his most precious memories, rivalled only by the birth of Himawari.

'Sakura-chan...you saved my son's life.'

Naruto looked at Sakura who was quick to duck out so as to give them time to bond with the baby now known as Bolt.

'You are so amazing, Sakura-chan. Thank you for everything.'

Around them, things shifted so that they were now out in the hallway.

"What's going on?" Naruto asked, looking to Ino who was just as confused.

"I don't know."

The hallway was flickering with black spots like an old, warn out film. Sighing, Sakura rested against the door she just closed. She finally exhaled, panting quite a bit. Upon her forehead, beads of sweat had gathered. She was flushed with fever as she tried to will the world to stop spinning.

"We're seeing...Sakura's point of view after your memory, Naruto," Ino explained with wide eyes.

"But I thought her memories were locked away," Sasuke challenged.

"They are," Ino snapped back. "But I think Naruto's memory was something Sakura cherished and as a result, when Naruto brought it up, Sakura's subconscious couldn't help but grab onto it.

"Sakura," Sasuke murmured to himself.

"Sakura-chan!" Naruto called.

"Baka," Ino scolded. "Just because her subconscious reacted to the memory, it doesn't mean she herself is here."

Before her, a small glass path appeared. Gingerly stepping on it, she sighed in relief when it held her weight. She walked a couple of meters before the glass path ended, disappeared into the abyss.

She turned to Kakashi.

"Your turn."

I am really sorry that took a while and it's not even that big.

That's because at first I did Sasuke's memory and then Naruto's but I thought I would wait and instead of making you guys wait for ages for me to do all the memories in one, I'd give it to you piece by piece.

So I hope you enjoyed it.

I'm telling you now, I didn't really like Naruto's memory.

I loved writing Sasuke's and I feel like you will all love it too.

I tried writing the memories as if you were looking directly through their eyes, but it was too hard so I gave up and just wrote but I wrote.

I have no idea what Kakashi's memory will be but I'll think of something.

Yes, IMVU coz it rocks.

If you're gonna play it, PM me and I'll give you my name in the game.

Let's also ignore the fact that if they were looking through Naruto's eyes, everyone just got a good look of Hinata's hoohaa because I don't feel like adding the mental trauma some of the guys might have experienced...

xD

My bad.

I might go back and edit this chapter to make it better but right now, I'm tired.
