Sasuke stood at the alter, calm as a cucumber, but being connected they could all feel the nerves running rampant within. Marrying them was Tsunade.

The groom pulled at the black kimono he wore with the Uchiha symbol stitched on the breast pocket, courtesy of Hinata, and a red flower tucked inside.

There were too many people. He probably knew a quarter of them from the village. The rest were friends Sakura had made all over the world. It was just as grand as Naruto's. Everyone wanted to see the last Uchiha marry Konoha's Cherry Blossom, one of the strongest kunoichi in the world.

While Naruto and Hinata's relationship was a sweet, tender romance, Sasuke and Sakura's was the ultimate love story. One about a love struck girl who faced rejection, pain and other such trials to eventually gain the affection and attention of her hearts desire.

He fidgeted again and Tsunade placed a firm hand on his shoulder. When he looked at her, her eyes were warm and soothing.

It would be alright.

Suddenly, music trickled through the air, announcing the arrival of the bridesmaids and grooms.

First to come out was the best man and bridesmaid, Naruto and Ino.

The women were wearing light blue kimono's and holding pastel pink bouquets and the men wore black like Sasuke.

Once Naruto and Ino reached the alter, Naruto pecked Ino's cheek who giggled before they separated. Ino winked at Sasuke and Naruto gave him a cheeky smile as he moved to stand by his side. Next to come out was Kakashi and Shizune followed by Sai and Hinata, Kiba and Tenten, Shikamaru and Tenten and once they'd all taken their place at the alter, Kizashi stepped out with his dearest daughter on his arm.

Everyone in the chapel could only watch in awe as Sakura and Kizashi slowly made their way down the aisle. He could barely make out her face, thanks to the veil, but her dress sparkled from the sunlight shining in through the windows, hitting the jewels littering the dress. In her hands was a bouquet of blue roses and he knew she picked them.

To represent him.

His heart ached with such care and dare he think it...love.

Yes, he loved this woman.

This woman who'd give her life for him many times over. This woman who never gave up on him. This woman who deserved more than he who had hurt her repeatedly.

When she reached the alter, she turned to her father who raised her veil, revealing her blushing cheeks, glossy pink lips and teary emerald eyes.

Sakura reached up and wiped his tears away with a watery smile. Kizashi leant down and whispered in her something that caused Sakura to choke up and look at her father so tenderly. She kissed his cheek as he kissed hers and he looked to Sasuke who moved down the stairs to hold his hand out to them. Kizashi placed his daughter's hand in his and gave him a nod.

"Take care of her, son," he spoke.

Sasuke could only nod as he watched Kizashi move to a crying Mebuki who dabbed at her eyes with a tissue.

His eyes returned to his bride who looked up at him with such adoration, he felt inadequate.

How did such an amazing woman end up with a broken man like him?

Through his eyes, she was glowing. He had never seen someone so beautiful. He never took his eyes off her. He couldn't. His left eye flickered red.

He used his Sharingan to commit this moment to memory.

She approved with her smile.

The ceremony flew by as he stared into his soon-to-be wife's eyes and he couldn't help but think of the little girl with a red ribbon in her hair as she watched him with a blush on her cheeks.

Looking at her now, she really hadn't changed.

A small smile tugged at his lips and a tear slipped down her cheek before he tenderly wiped it away.

Before he knew it, Tsunade was addressing their audience.

"You may now kiss the bride."

Sakura turned bright pink and he couldn't help his smirk.

He reached for her, a hand slipping behind her head as his other rested on her hip and pulled her closer. She reached for him, a hand caressing his cheek lovingly while the other rested on his chest and as their first ever public display of affection, their lips met in a tender kiss.

The crowd erupted around them with applause, cheering and whistling.

When they broke apart, they remained a hair width apart, foreheads touching and staring each other in the eyes. Mismatch met green and Sasuke felt his heart beat pounding in his chest.

"I...love you, Sakura," he spoke aloud for the first time.

'You've given me everything I thought I'd never get back,' his thoughts of that time echoed in their minds. 'Uchiha Sakura...sounds perfect.'

Sakura choked on a sob as tears of joy slipped down her cheeks and she embraced him.

"I love you too, Sasuke-kun," she cried.

'I can't believe it,' Sakura's thoughts sounded around them. 'After everything I've been through, after everything Sasuke-kun's been through, we ended up here. Together.'

'I promise, Sasuke-kun,' the thoughts continued. 'I will do everything I can to make you happy. I'll make sure you never come to regret making me your wife.'

The memory fizzled out to show the reception, where Sakura stood, fiddling with her fingers.

'It's okay if Sasuke-kun doesn't ask me to dance,' she thought. 'It's not really his thing and I can just dance with tou-san.'

As Sakura started to turn from Sasuke, he placed a hand on her shoulder, stopping her from moving away.

"Hm?" She asked, blinking at him.

'Don't turn away from me.'

He remained silent but the offered hand spoke volumes.

'I've never danced before but it's our wedding day.'

Sakura gasped.

'H-He's actually asking me to dance?'

As she took his hand, he led her to the middle of the floor with a firm hand on her waist. As her left hand slid up to his shoulder and her right hand held his, their fingers interlocking. Slowly, they began to sway.

"Sasuke-kun," she sighed, content.

Sasuke didn't speak but he did smile and gently placed a kiss atop her head.

'I'm terrified that this is all a dream,' she thought. 'That I'm going to wake up and Sasuke-kun is still going to be travelling and this was all in my head.'

'Who'd have thought I'd marry the fangirl who was placed on my team back in the academy?'

Sakura looked up at Sasuke who looked down at her questioningly. Such raw emotion washed over everyone as she stared up at her husband.

"I love you, Sasuke-kun," she whispered tenderly.

Sasuke bent down and pecked her softly on the lips.

Another wave of pure emotion rushed through Sakura, causing goosebumps to prick at their skin. The shear power of emotions she felt was practically overwhelming.

Then again, she had always been such an emotional person.

"Do all women feel like this?" Kiba asked.

"Sometimes," Ino nodded.

"No wonder you guys always seem so moody. If I felt emotions as strong as this, I'd probably overreact too."

The men looked at Kiba like he was the biggest idiot in the world as Ino and Temari turned to him with a raised eyebrow and a cocked hip. Even Hinata looked at him, daring him to continue.

After dancing with her father, Naruto was next to lead her through a slow song.

"So, Sakura-chan," he asked, cheekily. "Are you looking forward to the wedding night?"

Sakura spluttered and stared at him with dusty pink colouring her

"B-Baka," she snapped and pinched his arm. "Don't be such a pervert!"

Sasuke turned to glare at Naruto.

Naruto yelped and rubbed the spot on his arm. "Sakura-chaaaaaan."

Sakura smiled and her hand glowed as she numbed the pain receptors that she had set off with her pinch.

"But seriously, are you show him just how flexible you are?" Naruto continued, wiggling his eyebrows suggestively.

Instead of getting angry again, she tried a different approach.

She looked Naruto dead in the eye and smirked, causing his to falter. "What makes you think I haven't already shown him just how flexible I am?"

It was Naruto's turn to splutter. "R-Really? But he never said anything!"

Sakura rolled her eyes. "Sasuke doesn't talk about much to begin with, baka," she stated. "Why would he tell you about our sex life?"

"But I tell him about mine..."

Hinata's face twisted into a look of mortification.

"You did what!?"

"H-Hinata-chan...it's not a big deal."

"Awkward," Temari chirped.

Sakura gave Naruto a smack on the back of his head.

"Don't do that!" She snapped. "Hinata-chan probably doesn't want anyone to know what you guys do behind closed doors. She'd be humiliated if she ever found out."

"You won't tell her, will you?" Naruto pleaded.

"I should!"

"But she'll kill me if she knew and you love me, ya know, alive and kicking."

She pursed her lips before sighing.

"Fine."

"So what about you guys?"

"You're really pushing your luck, Naruto."

"You know I'll keep bugging you until you tell me."

"It's none of your business!"

Seeing the look on his face she growled.

"He's an attentive lover. There? You happy?"

"What do you mean by 'attentive'?" He asked.

Sakura groaned and smacked her face.

"It means, he never leaves me unsatisfied, get it? He knows what I like and he exploits it to it's limits."

"Ohh," Naruto slurred huskily.

"Will you stop?" She growled. "If you don't drop the subject, I'm going to drop you."

"Okay, okay," he soothed. "I'm just happy that you two are happy."

Sakura smiled at him and laid her head on his chest.

"Thank you, Naruto," she murmured.

"And that he fulfils your every desire," he chuckled.

Everyone groaned at the pure idiocy of the blond.

Sakura didn't move and neither did her smile fall.

"You should have known how wild we could be, Naruto," she spoke easily. "You see him without his shirt on when training all the time. You've seen the marks."

"The marks?" Naruto asked before his eyes widened.

"Are you talk about the scratch marks and the bruises!?"

Sakura just giggled as Naruto tried his best to remember all the times Sasuke showed up to one of their sparring sessions looking like he'd had a rough fight earlier.

"Oh my god, it makes sense now! He always smirked when I asked him about the marks. All this time- oh my god!"

Naruto felt Sasuke's glare again.

"Will you stop glaring at me?

"Will you stop being an idiot?"

"What did you call me!?"

"You heard me."

Sakura laughed louder before a thought occurred to her.

"By the way, where were you before? You missed making the Best Man speech."

"Oh, thanks for reminding me!"

Abruptly, he disappeared. Leaving the bride alone on the dance floor. Sasuke was quick to recover his bride though.

"Where did Naruto go?"

"I don't know."

There was a ringing from the speaker followed by tapping sounds.

"Ugh, hello? Excuse me? Hey, look at me!"

Everyone turned to the blond on the stage, having taken the microphone off the wedding singer.

"Yeah, hi," he greeted. "I'm sure everyone here knows who I am but in case you don't, I'm Uzumaki Naruto, Sasuke's Best Man."

"Here we go," Sasuke groaned.

Sakura giggled from beside him.

"You guys didn't get to hear my toast because of some bad milk I had this morning..."

The crowd laughed as Sasuke smirked.

"I'd like to start by saying that my amazing wife, Hinata, proofread this speech so if there's any mistakes, blame her."

Hinata giggled from beside Sakura as Naruto continued.

"As everyone knows, Sasuke and I go way back. He was my rival and my best friend throughout my life. Our mothers were apparently best friends so it was destiny, I guess. We shared many things; memories, feelings, friends. Even our first kiss."

All the blood drained from Sasuke's face and Sakura burst out laughing, as did most of the crowd. Naruto smirked cheekily at the crowd and turned to the groom before holding his hand over his heart.

"Teme," he spoke softly. "I thought what we had was special."

Sakura was clutching tightly to Sasuke, almost falling over herself with such mirth and Sasuke was just...cold. He wasn't angry. He was shell shocked. Oh, but the anger would come later.

"I remember how soft your lips were, pressed against my own," he added, looking off into the distance and touching his lips.

The crowd started up again and tears fell from Sakura's eyes.

"D-Dobe!" Sasuke growled out.

Naruto cracked up, dropping the act.

"I'm just kidding," he spoke. "But we did kiss. It was an accident though. The mortification was real. You don't forget something like that."

"For a while in our teenage years, I really worried about him. We were so alike and yet so different, taking such different paths. It wasn't easy. While he was away, I worried for him, what he was doing, where he was, if he was happy, if he thought about us, his team and family. When I swore to Sakura-chan that I'd bring him back, it was hard but it pushed me- he pushed me to be at my best and I can honestly say if it weren't for him, I wouldn't be the man I am today."

Sakura touched Sasuke's arm softly as he watched his best friend, moved by his words.

"He's had it rough most of his life and now I'm glad he's found happiness in the arms of our dearest friend, Sakura-chan. I can't possibly think of someone more capable of handling the brooding Uchiha and love him for better or worse. She was right there with me in our journey to find Sasuke and she never gave up. She's loved him for as long as I can remember so I know she'll survive anything the teme throws her way."

The pinkette dabbed at the tears in her eyes with a tissue and a smile.

"So now I'd like everyone to raise their glass to the newly weds."

He waited until he could see everyone holding their glass up.

"To Uchiha Sasuke and Sakura, may you continue to grow as people together and spend the rest of your life in bliss with the one you love."

"Cheers!"

The sound of glasses being tapped against one another filled the room with applause as Naruto took his sip and joined everyone back on the floor.

Sakura hugged him and Sasuke placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Naruto," Sakura murmured into his chest.

"Ma, don't cry, Sakura-chan!"

"Time to throw the bouquet!" Ino interjected happily before dragging Sakura away.

"Alright, ladies and gentlemen if you could all clear the dance floor," the MC spoke. "It's time for the bride to throw the bouquet!"

Everyone moved off the floor and Sakura stood near the stage. All the single ladies stood behind her.

"Ready?" Sakura called.

Facing the other way, she tossed the bouquet.

As the bouquet came straight to her, Tenten's eyes widened. She grabbed the girl beside her, who happened to be Moegi, and pulled her in front. Moegi, caught by surprise, reacted only on instinct to catch the item coming for her.

Sakura turned around to see Moegi had caught it and laughed, especially when she noticed the blush and quick look she cast Konohamaru's way. The boy in turn blushed and looked away.

When Sakura moved to walk away, Sasuke stopped her.

"What is it?" She asked.

Sasuke just smirked at her and placed a chair in the middle of the floor. The men all hollered loudly when it finally clicked.

'A garter toss!? You can't be serious!'

Despite the surprise, Sakura sat on the chair. A seductive song played and again the crowd cheered. Sakura turned bright red as she looked at Sasuke who could not stop smirking.

'Are we really going to do this!? Is he really going to do this!?'

Sasuke approached until he was standing right in front of her, blocking her view of everyone.

"S-S-Sasuke-"

She stopped when she heard the deep chuckle coming from him.

A feeling of lust overcame everyone due to Sakura's growing excitement.

"This is getting weird," Kiba stated, trying to shrug off Sakura's emotion.

Sasuke leant over and whispered in her eyes.

"I can't wait to get home," Sasuke whispered.

Sakura blushed brighter, swallowing thickly.

"S-Sasuke-kun."

He knelt down, never breaking eye contact. He lifted the front of her dress slightly before his head dipped under. Sakura squeaked as the crowd cheered Sasuke on. Her face was burning up.

His teeth grazed her leg as he closed his teeth around the garter. She yelped in surprise and could feel him chuckling as he pulled the garter down her leg. When his head resurfaced from under her dress, her red garter hung from his teeth.

Naruto wolf whistled as the crowd cheered. As the single men lined up behind Sasuke, he threw it backward in which Konohamaru caught it.

"Naw," Sakura cooed, despite her blush not having left.

Sasuke bent forward and pecked her lips as he helped her stand.

"You're going to get it for that stunt, darling husband," Sakura hissed softly.

"I look forward to it, wife."

Together, they all watched as a blushing Konohamaru slid the garter onto Moegi's leg just before she fainted.

"I look forward to the wedding, Konohamaru," Sakura chimed.

"Oh jeez," he groaned.

The memory wavered before disappearing. Ino stumbled a little from the sudden exhaustion that hit her. She saw the floor stretch out, far and wide and felt it harden beneath her. Sasuke's memory had solidified the floor, giving Sakura back enough sanity to focus.

"We need to go back," she said. "My chakra is draining too fast but we have done so much in just this short amount of time."

They nodded and slowly, Ino eased herself from Sakura's mind.

Gently, Ino dropped the connection with everyone.

"Everyone alright?" Naruto asked.

He received positive replies before a soft, feminine groan drew their attention to the centre of the room.

Sakura slowly opened her eyes, raising her hand to her head and wincing.

"S-Sakura-chan?" Naruto managed to stutter out.

Her eyes moved to him and then to everyone surrounded her.

"What the hell is going on?"

There you guys are, my lovelies.

I enjoyed writing this.

Rest assured, I don't want to write everyone's memory of her so things are going to change.

Yes, I did read Gaiden chapter 7.

And my phone is now smashed because of it.

I still hold faith that Suigetsu fucked up somehow. How do we know that was Karin's hair? Suigetsu is an idiot, so...

Naruto didn't know if Sakura was pregnant? Maybe she had joined Sasuke on his journey for a little while, she got pregnant and had a baby.

I just fucking wish Sasuke would just explain everything.

But NOTHING compares to the anger I'm holding towards Sarada.

Why should she help someone who isn't her mother? Who means NOTHING to her!?

Bitch, she raised you!

If that were my child, I would have fucking slapped her.

Even if she turns out to not be her biological mother, she was more her mother than Karin.

I couldn't even deal with Sarada after that.

I'm tempted to kill the little shit off in this story for that.

How fucking dare you?!

And you KISHIMOTO...BURN IN HELL

Your trolling is getting out of hand. I will get even for this. Prepare for many SakuSasu fanfics, my lovely readers.

Sarada probably getting a hiding in them, little shit.

Fuck that bitch, honestly.

Review and tell me what cha think!
