ROBIN'S POV
By now I'm sure you're pretty confused, huh? Allow me to fill you in. Through my short blurry periods of consciousness I dragged myself away from the battlefield, and was snatched up by the Renegades who tried to heal me, but then the Plegians busted in and abducted me, then I was taken to the Dragon's Table where I was able to heal myself by harnessing the power of Gules, which Validar idiotically never realized I had on my person. I also did a few other things while Validar thought I was unconscious but I'll tell you about them when they're relevant.
I nodded to Chrom and kicked off the ground, sword in hand, towards Validar. He chuckled as a sphere of purple energy appeared in the air and flew at me. In a blur of dark blue, as planned, Chrom leapt into the air, smacked the sphere out of the air with Falchion, (Because it could repel all kinds of dark magic due to the fact it was imbued with Naga's power) and leapt to the other side. Validar blinked and sent a wall of energy my way.
Chrom just landed on the ground as the wall slammed into me and sent me skidding. Validar stalked towards me, tome in hand. "Any last words, oh Prodigal Son?" he spat, looking down on me. I nodded. "Yeah, and that's don't expect anything on Father's Day." Validar snarled just as Falchion ran him through from behind.
His eyes, which were a deep violet now, widened in surprise as he slumped to the ground. "Imbeciles… This isn't over yet." I stood up, Validar's blood staining the bottom of my robe. "I think it is, Father." I said calmly, sheathing my sword.
"But it isn't." Chrom and I stiffened as the voice wafted into our ears. There was a flash of light as the Fell Dragon's human form appeared before us; a slightly transparent 100% evil form of me. Grima snapped, and a cloud of purple light settled over Validar, and he got up. I watched both the wound Chrom inflicted and his robe close to an unbroken sheet.
He looked at us with pure malice. "Let's see if you can beat my awakened form! With the power of the Fell Dragon I shall crush you here!" Validar slammed his foot into the ground, and purple fire raced across the lines on the floor. With an uppercut of inhuman proportions, Validar sent me flying into the air.
As I began to fall towards the ground I recognized the pattern: the very same one I had on my hand, the Six Eyes of Grima. "Chrom!" I yelled desperately, waving my arms praying I could achieve flight.
Flight didn't happen but Chrom caught me with only a mild jarring thump. In the few seconds we had, Chrom whispered urgently in my ear. I nodded. With a strength that seemed just as godly, Chrom threw me at Validar. Let me repeat that. Chrom threw me at Validar. I was quite literally soaring through the air, making sure to wave my hands to see I was unarmed.
Validar stepped forward and brought his fist back so it sent me flying into a marble pillar, which luckily held. Chrom drew Falchion and charged at Validar without mercy. Meanwhile, Grima hovered in the air a few yards away, laughing softly to himself.
As Chrom flew through the air after getting hit in the stomach with one of Validar's energy spheres, I ran towards him as silently as the cold marble floor would allow. "Look out you dolt!" Grima's voice echoed through the marble chamber but Validar only turned to see me colliding with him.
My momentum coupled with his shock at getting tackled got me just far enough to where I needed. Without a second thought father and son were free-falling through the lovely shaft my two children had created during their fight. Validar brought his fist back but I let go of him and spread my arms, causing him to miss altogether. Quickly I latched back onto him- I needed something to cushion my fall. The ground was becoming awfully close. I hope I was right in thinking that Morgan had understood me; but if Naga had completely ensnared her mind, Validar and I were both dead.
"Now, DIE AT THE HANDS OF YOUR GOD!" I screamed, and punched him in the face, causing him to scream as his nose broke. "You are not Grima… foolish boy!" I grinned as best I could in the life-or-death situation. "You're exactly right." I needed to time this right.
Just as Validar screamed with pain I leapt off, leaving the rest to physics as I collided with the marble floor with little less than what would likely be a bruise on my chest in the morning. Validar, however, wasn't so lucky.
Two scissor blades, a Grima original, were poking out of him, causing scarlet blood to pool on the ground. But what I found odd was that a black substance already coated the blade. Validar smiled weakly. He began to laugh. "Thank you for that wonderful pick-me-up! Your son's blood, mixed with Grima's, energizes me so much!"
My eyes widened as he stood up, pulling the blades right out of their clefts in the marble, and ripping them out of his body. Once again, the wounds closed instantly. Validar laughed again.
"What a clever plan! Sending plans to your daughter! Her ability to read lips is quite good! Unfortunately for you I saw it, and since Lord Grima and I share a mental connection, he used your son to knock Naga around and kill him on these blades, spilling his blood! NONE of you saw it! Not even the GRAND tactician of the Ylissean army! You walked right into my-"
Validar stopped abruptly as my fist collided with his face. "I don't care how many times you use Grima's power to heal and rise in power, I will still kick you to the curb, fiend!" my father grinned. "Give it your best shot, then." It was time to use tactics.
There was no way I could beat Validar, who was a tough contender to begin with, imbued with both Grima's power and his blood. Plus, I was unarmed. I lost my weapons on the free-fall down. I looked around the room hoping to make a plan. The room was circular, with 16 marble pillars holding up the place about a foot away from the wall and about three yards apart from each other. There were two stone staircases at either side of the room and a large stone alter was set up dead center.
I smiled. I could still win this.
Jack's Corner
Yes, I plan to have four main POV's during the fight in the Dragon's Table. Robin/Chrom, Morgan/Christian, Lucina, and Validar/Grima. Next chapter, you'll see what exactly happened to Morgan and Christian! Is Morgan still under Naga's control? Did she kill Christian? Is Christian still alive? Will he have been scarred for life by those flames? I won't answer anyof those questions!
