Paragon Eight-I haven't read too many New 52 stories so I don't know. I imagined him as a cross between his form in Tee Titans and the werewolf from Van Helsing.
Black VictorCachat- To ansewer both questions, he's Lex Luthor. He always has a plan for a plan for a plan.
Eric- Yup, the JL is the overseers of the other two teams. They have the final say so with what they do. And you'll see how far the SuperMartian family takes things soon.

Rounding a corner, Mrs. Martian ripped the doors off closed rooms and used them as shields from a squad of guards armed with rapid fire TMPs. The small arms delivered round ofter round of ammunition at the woman who shielded herself from the attacks. Every so often, a few guards would fly to the side, into the ceiling, or be forced back into an open room from Mrs. Martian's strong telekinetic attacks.
Mentally holding a steel door in front of her, the Martian grunted as she reached out behind her, grabbed the shoulder of a guard, and threw him into several others, all without ever touching him. With a short lapse in rounds being fired, Mrs. Martian dropped her make-shift shield and attempted to phase through to the floor above her. Like earlier, she failed in leaving her current position and was shocked back down towards the floor. Apparently, Lex had some of the Reach technology in his building, which prevented her from leaving her current whereabouts.
"Stop her, stop her!" one of the guards shouted as he and others poured on the attack.
"Don't have time for this." Holding her arm in front of her, Mrs. Martian created an invisible wall to block all incoming bullets as her eyes glowed brightly.
As dozens of rounds stopped in the air a foot from reaching her, one of the guards shouted for them all to take cover right as an invisible shockwave fired out from the Titan co-leader and blasted them all back. Some went into rooms while others crashed into walls. There was no fear of any falling out a window as there were none in the corridor she occupied. When it was all over, she could sense none were conscience and had the suspended bullets drop, the light tinkling of metal hitting tile echoed in the hall as her feet touched the floor for the first time since leaving the elevator.
"Very good, Martian. Very good. But a little pathetic considering it's mere child's play at what you've done before, no?"
Stepping out of a darkened room, the slender figure of Psymon came into Mrs. Martian's view. She was at first surprised at his return with what she did to him last time and when Artemis incapacitated him until he used his telekinesis to launch her backwards, almost colliding with a water dispenser.
"Psymon?" Planting her feet on the ground, Mrs. Martian put her psychic barriers up in preparation of an assault on her mind. "What happened to you?"
Smiling menacingly, the Light enforcer mostly looked the same, only instead of his pinkish brain being surrounded by a clear membrain, it was now fully exposed and black, quivering every now and then. "Oh you know, upgrades and such."
"You're the reason I couldn't feel Carter's mind. What else are you doing here?"
"Fulfilling a deal to a friend of mine, Martian witch."
"Working for Luthor?"
"Pro bono."
Instantly, the telepathic villain initiated a mental fight with his rival, taking them both to the psychic plane.
-One Floor Above-
With a growl, Superboy dispatched of the second to last security guard attacking him, breaking his weapon in one hand with ease. The last guard, down to using a .45 pistol, fired upon the invulnerable Krypto/human with a panicked look on his face. The middle aged black man backed up against a doorframe and reloaded as quickly as he could, shouting for the Titan co-leader to keep back. His words were useless as Superboy stomped up to the freaked out guard as each shot fired hit its mark on his chest, stomach, arms, and head. He even took a bullet straight to the middle of his head at point bank range, which only resulted in the ballistic to flatten out and fall to the ground between them.
With both men looking down at the thin, spent bullet, the guard thought it would be a good idea to deliver a haymaker to Superboy's temple. It was a bad move as the guard's hand all but shattered from the impact on the superstrong young man, making him cry out from a broken hand. His pain did not last long as he was lifted by the neck and thrown into the room, colliding with the wall at the back and falling to the floor unconscious.
With the hallway cleared out, Superboy turned his attention to his wife. He could feel her mental presence but could not contact her, making him hope she was alright when each of the rooms in the hall was sealed shut with slabs of metal falling from above.
"Luthor!" Superboy bellowed once he was sealed from entering the other rooms.
With the doorways shut tight, he was left with only one option. Down the corridor stood a wide set of double doors with gold embossed letters marking it as Lex's private office. With his sights set on them, he was just about to head in their direction when they opened and a tall, blond, finely dressed man stepped out.
"Mister Conner," the man addressed, "I was informed of your possible presence here tonight but am afraid I have to insist on your leaving."
"Where's my son?" Superboy asked roughly through gritted teeth.
"The young hybrid is of no concern to you. It will be taken care of so long as it is deemed useful by Mister Luthor. Now please, I understand your wife may be in peril as of now and must insist you take what is left of her and leave the premises before I am made to use force."
Hesitating, Superboy flinched at the thought of M'gann being severely hurt, but his constant connection to her proved she was still fine. "I want my son, now!"
"I am afraid that is impossible. You were created by Mister Luthor and as such are still owned by him. This includes any number of subsidies you create. So you must understand, the hybrid property indeed belongs to Luthor, not you."
Charging forward, Superboy leapt into the air and flew at the man with his fists out, fully intending on smashing him through the doors and entering Lex Luthor's office. As he drew near, he failed to see the man's eyes give off a shimmer of green before he was sidestepped, grabbed by his feet, and flipped over backwards to be slammed into the reinforced tile floor.
Normally, a hit like that would not phase him, even if it were from a superpowered individual. He had taken harder hits before, but now it was as if his entire body were subjected to the all too familiar feeling of being exposed to Kryptonite, something that was odd since he saw none in the area.
Walking up the downed Kryptonan, the man cracked his neck and rolled his shoulders, letting his eyes take on an erie green glow with a vaporous mist flowing out of them.

"Get back!" Diving away from a pair of heated blades, Terra landed in a roll out back in the gathering area she and her friends entered through.
Coming out of the hallway, Scandal flipped a throwing blade in her hand so she could hold it by the tip and threw it at the blonde girl. With her projectile weapon striking an overturned coffee table, Scandal had her blades heat up as she leapt forward and smashed through the makeshift shield with Terra nowhere to be seen.
Scanning the darkened room, the hired assassin carefully searched for the most logical spot the teen girl could have retreated to. Slowly standing, the masked woman toned down the heat and rotated her arms, itching to bury them into the Titan and slowly paced the room.
"Terra, isn't it?" Scandal began. "Were you not the one Bee picked up roaming the states?"
Nothing happened but she could tell the teen was still in the room. "You were in Kansas if I remember correctly. Staying at a rundown hotel. Eating scraps from a fast food restaurant. Using that little ability of yours to smash windows at a junkyard."
Curled up beside a faux fireplace with a chair not too far away, Terra controlled her breathing as Scandal continued to speak. Her mind was in a fog with the last thing she could remember was accepting a meal from Queen Bee before everything went dark. True she remembered the Christmas barn dance where she and a boy shared one or two dances, but everything up until now was all a blank. And worse, Scandal was getting closer to her.
"Let's end this early. As much as I enjoy the hunt, I really want to get paid. The sooner I hand Queen Bee your head, the sooner I get,"
Coming around the side of a few couches, Scandal pointed her right forearm blade at nothing except the shadows covering the wall and side of the decorative fireplace.
"...paid. Clever girl."
Turning, Scandal was about to resume her hunt for the Titan when she was struck in the chest by a few stones. Looking at the rocks fall to the floor, the woman scoffed at the painless 'attack'. "Really, girl? How patheti-GUGH!"
Backing up, Scandal swiped at a large amount of dirt, which had impacted her face, blinding her. She had no time to clear it all when an iron fireplace poker collided with her upper back. On the ground now, she had just enough time to clear an eye of dirt and see the iron object swooping down on top of her. Activating a forearm blade, she blocked it and disarmed Terra.
Kipping up, Scandal had just enough time to see Terra running out of the room and into the kitchen. Ripping her mask off, the woman growled at being caught off guard like she was and extended both sets of her blades.
"Get ready, girl. I'm going to enjoy skinning you alive."
Across the building, Queen Bee ran as fast as she could trough the hallways in an attempt to lose her pursuer. Noting she did was successful as the large beastial form of Beast Boy gave chase, refusing to let anything stand in his way. Since nearly pouncing on the dictator, he had been on her heels since leaving the room and was now behind her in the building's west wing.
Sliding around the corner of another hallway, since his feet were slick on the wooden floor, Beast Boy used his claws to correct his course and put out a burst of speed as he continued to chase down Queen Bee. He even let out a roar as he closed in on her, narrowly missing cutting into her with his sharpened, three inch long, claws.
Entering a panic room just in time, Queen Bee heard the wall behind her being torn from the large beast striking it. It dawned on her that if she was a second slower in turning, she would no longer have a head.
With the door to her panic room shut tight, the Byalian ruler watched a monitor as Beast Boy tried to get in. His claws scraped the thick metal surface of the barrier, never slowing down as he only wanted to get to the woman inside. He had lost all ties to his regular self, as if something had snapped in his head to have him become the beast she had referenced him as.
Trapped for the time being, Queen Bee headed over to the other side of the all metal room and opened a large cabinet. Inside were a selection of weapons. Swords, daggers, firearms, all were for the taking with her eyes falling upon the largest handgun she could find. Grabbing the .357 Magnum revolver, she quickly loaded it and checked the screen, making sure the large wolf-like form of Beast Boy was still attempting to get in.
"You want me?" Queen Bee muttered. "Just try it. I'll make sure you join your mother in a bit."
She flicked the gun to the side to have the rotating barrel lock into place and turned to the rear of the room where another door stood, leading to another, just incase she should need to create more distance between them.
In another part of the penthouse, Ravager shot forward and sliced through a statue of a sixteenth century Greek God. The two halves of Zeus separated with the top portion falling to the floor and breaking further.
"Pretty fast for a blanket." Twirling her sword around, Ravager watched the cloaked Titan girl fly around to the other side of the room.
"Pretty good for a Camelot reject." Using her powers, Raven had the couch beside her lift off the ground and streak towards the sword wielder.
Once in range, Ravager easily sliced through it and used one of the pieces to leap into the air. She came down hard at Raven and attempted to split her in two but was blocked by the girl's black energy. Taking another swipe at the girl's ribs, the second masked woman was again blocked and countered with a jab from Raven. She managed to get her elbow up in time to prevent the balled fist from connecting and landed a spinning reverse roundhouse kick to send the Gothic girl to the wall behind her.
Hitting hard, Raven sunk to the floor and barely avoided having her face become a sheath for Ravager's sword. With her eyes glowing, the Titan surrounded the weapon with her energy and trapped it in the wall, giving her time to get up and land a club-like blow to the small of Ravager's back. She had just enough time to move when the masked woman threw a backhand with her knuckles tipped with sharpened studs.
Getting back to her feet, Ravager gripped the handle of her sword and rested it on her shoulder. Raven was nowhere to be found. All the dual colored woman saw were shadows. "Good move, pale face. But this is my element. Not even your powers can save you from what I have planned for you."
"This coming from a neon colored assassin? Clearly, you need to retake Stealth one-o-one."
Nearing where Raven's voice came from, Ravager searched the darkness until she saw the glint of the Titan's metal belt in the shadows and acted as if she missed seeing it. "Your friend back there, in the study, he's a real animal, isn't he? How do you like working with something like...THAT!"
Stabbing into the shadows, Ravager succeeded in impaling a rather expensive vase filed with long stem violets. Recoiling from the thrust, the two toned woman let out a growl of frustration a moment before she was knocked forward by a dark shape flying out of the shadows. Hitting the ground, Ravager turned around with her sword guarding her front as the blade crossed before her face. Removing her damaged mask, she threw the torn cloth away and got back to her feet without her guard faltering. Her bleached hair clung close to her scalp from being soaked in sweat with an eye patch strapped over her left eye glistening from the moisture created under her mask.
"What say you come on out and die with honor, brat? I'll make it quick. Maybe."
As if to answer her, a large, black form flew across the room and snuffed the fire out. The doors leading out slammed shut with the lock engaging, leaving Ravager in complete darkness.
Without being seen, Raven spoke from the shadows as Ravager tried to get an idea of where she was. "Welcome to my element."

Inside the psychic plane, everything was chaotic. The sky was black with shades of dark purple here and there with the ground covered in barbed spikes at different heights. Every now and then, lightning would strike the metallic objects with accompanying thunder being loud enough to make it hard to breathe. Snake-like lines of fire coursed through the air in flashes after the bolts of lightning, chasing them before landing between the spikes below and filling the ground with flames for a few seconds.
Tumbling through the air, Mrs. Martian grunted as she was hit by a mental blast from Psymon. Stopping, she formed several copies of herself with a large shield before them to block another attack by the evil psychic. Valuing maneuverability over her opponent, who had formed a large representation of himself, Mrs. Martian surrounded and blasted him from all sides when a lightning bolt came extremely close to her, forcing the Titan to abandon the attack least she be fried and burned.
"Nice try, Martian. But this time, I'm playing for keeps." Bringing up his hands, the giant form of Psymon slammed them together, smashing most of the Martian clones and sending out a shockwave to down the others.
Appearing behind him, Mrs. Martian had her fingers form into tendrils and attacked Psymon's brain directly. Her psychic energy stunned him for a moment when he turned around and swallowed her whole. Not letting that stop her, the Martian female curled herself into a tight ball then forcefully extended her limbs, sending out a shockwave of energy to rip apart the giant Psymon head and free herself.
Reforming, in a more accurate representation of himself, Psymon shook his head then bent the lighting and fire to his will. Sending the electric fire strands at his Martian foe, he had more and more come down and shoot her way.
Doing her best to dodge the bolts of lightning and ropes of fire, Mrs. Martian dodged and weaved while flying backwards. Forming a transparent blue shield, she changed course and circled around to get closer to the Light enforcer. The energy and heat attacks came close enough to frazzle her hair and douse her with heat.
"Give up, Martian. You may have beaten me before, but today, you die." Winding back, Psymon inhaled through his nostrils and regurgitated several strands of chains, capturing Mrs. Martian by tying her up and having her drop from the air.
Struggling to get free, Mrs. Martian saw the pointed shards waiting to impale her body when she came to an abrupt stop and was smashed onto a large, metal surface. Even more chains tied her down as the jagged structures rose up to attached themselves to the table to suspend it in the air.
"My my, is the little Martian feeling a bit overwhelmed?" Psymon asked as he floated closer to her. "Could it be because of my increased power?"
Firing a mental beam, Psymon enjoyed seeing the Martian woman wither and cry out in pain. "I would love to prolong this, but Luthor gave me orders to kill you quickly."
Firing another beam, Psymon had even more of his power put into the attack. Once he stopped, he let out an evil cackle as Mrs. Martian slumped in her chains. "I could destroy your consciousness and keep your body alive to control and finish off those annoying friends of yours, but I'm going to enjoy this."
Holding out his hand, Psymon formed a dagger and held the tip at Mrs. Martian's throat. "But I rather kill the body more than anything."
Vanishing from view, Psymon left the psychic world and had the fire from the sky encircle Mrs. Martian to keep her in place. Coming back to the real world, the gray skinned metahuman reached into his coat and pulled out a sheathed dagger. Taking the cover off, he tossed it to the side and closed in on the still mental plane trapped heroine.
-One Floor Above-
Crashing into the back of a room, Superboy came to a stop at a wall with a bright light shining down on him from an overhead projector. The light was blinding, forcing him to put a hand up to block out most of it when he heard footsteps enter the room with him.
"Project Kr," the man said as he removed his tie and undid his wrist cuffs, "my apologies for us starting things off on the wrong foot. If I may, my name is Corbin. Not what I choose to go by anymore. I choose to go by something completely different."
Getting back to his feet, Superboy felt somewhat dizzy as a throbbing pain circulated through his body. Leaning against the wall for support, the Titan leader tried to shake off what was happening to him as the man removed his collared shirt, revealing a torso with what looked like scars forming a large rectangle over his chest and was split in two.
"As a member of the League of Shadows, I can assure you, you will perish tonight." The man known as Corbin neatly folded his shirt and placed it on a chair next to him. "I have quite the number of kills and am about to add another one to my tally. Now if you would be so kind, lay down, and die."
Trying to fight the urge to fall back down, Superboy managed to stay on his feet when his enhanced hearing picked up on the sound of gears whirring. The last thing he saw before falling down again was the bright green glow of a pulsating heart made of Kryptonite from how he was feeling.
"You may call me, Metallo."
Rushing forward with amazing speed, Metallo caught Superboy before he could hit the ground. Up close with the bright light behind him, the Kryptonian could see his chest had opened to showcase his heart encased behind a clear barrier. Skin may have covered his outside, but inside appeared to be completely metal with the heart's container filled with green light. Shining veins carried emerald colored blood into and out of the organ with splotches of black within the liquid.
"How does it feel to know your time is at an end?" Having more of the radiation deadly to Kryptonians released at the weakening Superboy, Metallo let out a chuckle as he tightened his grip around the hero's throat.
Bringing up his hands, Superboy flattened them out on Metallo's shoulder and face then used his Tactile Telekinesis to shoot him backwards. Having the man crash into the wall on the other side of the room, Superboy felt sightly better being a distance away from the Kryptonite heart of the Shadow member.
Rising to a knee, Metallo had is eyes glow green as he looked back at the Titan leader. Reaching up, he took hold of his jaw, which was knocked out of place and situated to the right of his face, and moved it back to where it was. His skin was also damaged, shredded and torn from the bottom half of his face to expose a metal jaw, teeth, nostril opening, and right eye socket.
"W, what are you?" Superboy asked as he regained his vertical base.
Looking himself over, Metallo let out a growl as he refocused on Superboy. "I liked my face."
Faster than Superboy could react, Metallo dashed over to him and landed an uppercut to the Krypto/human hybrid then followed that up with a clubbing blow to his upper back. He did not stop there as he kicked the downed hero in the ribs before roughly gripping the back of his neck and throwing him forward. As Superboy rolled over his shoulder and landed on his knees, Metallo transformed his arm into a cannon and blasted the Titan co-leader in the chest with a concussive Kryptonite beam.
Smashing through the wall, Superboy reentered the hallway and crashed into the far side wall where he landed face own on the floor. Green mist rose from his chest where his shirt was obliterated with his skin a bright red. He fought to catch his breath as he let out a weak grunt of pain through the wheezes coming out of his mouth. His entire body felt stiff and threatened to black out from the massive dose of Kryptonite radiation directly exposed to his being.
From a combination of the rising green mist and popping electrical wires in the damaged wall creating smoke from the electrical sparks, the overhead sprinkler system came to life and doused the hallway with water. With the water raining down from the sprinkler heads, Metallo emerged into the hall through the door next to the hole he blasted Superboy through.
"I take great pride in my looks, Project Kr, as I am sure you do. Count yourself lucky I did not charge that shot enough to kill you outright." Popping his robotic knuckles, Metallo stood over Superboy's injured and tired body. "I intend to take your life with my bare hands. Then, after I hang your poisoned corpse over the side of Luthor's tower, I will target and kill both Superman and that super girl you have been seen with."
Opening his chest again, Metallo bombarded Superboy with another dose of Kryptonite radiation. "Now is the time to make peace with any deity you worship. Because I am going to take my time in beating you until it would be merciful to simply end you than trying to get you medical help."
Winding up, Metallo aimed is fist for Superboy's face. "And by all means, cry in pain as I do so."
The sound of Metallo's fist striking the downed Kryptonian echoed in the hall, along with the hero's grunts of pain.
