Hey well here you go I decided to write quickly as possible I hope veryone is having a good winter vacation so far well on with the story

Maka P.O.V

I woke up really hot and heard a bell go off I woke up to red light flashing I quickly but on my boots and hat as I ran out the room. As soon as I opened the door a fire started engulfed the room. I screamed as the flames started to burn my arms. I heard people yelling some sort or instructions. I backed into the room. I had to find out a way to get out of here before I burn. I looked around to find something that could help. There were no windows because this was a military base after all. I looked at the dresser and desk then I got it. I pushed the dresser out the way and there a small metal door stood there. I remember in the military books I read on the other base in case of immediate evacuation, they had a metal escape door so they can get out without anyone knowing. I crawled through the small door and shut it behind me so none of the fire could get in it was dark in this hall but I know if I keep going straight I would find my way out of this somehow.

Soul P.O.V

We woke up to someone yelling instructions to us. I woke up and but my boots and bulletproof vest and gun from under my bed and rush out the door with other boys. Outside were Sid was yelling instructions. I my heart dropped in my stomach when I saw people trying to put out the fire neared Maka's room but the fire grew stronger. "We got to get to get everyone out of here. Cadets follow Wes to the safe chamber." "Follow me Wes yelled" as her ran out the building and the boys followed. "I ran up to Sid "Sir what about officer Maka" he looked at the hallway as the flames got bigger. " Don't worry she a lot smarted than you think" I nodded. I guess he knew I knew about the secret. We ran to meet up with the others.

Maka P.O.V

I stopped to catch my breath I looked my arms which were badly burned. I could see them but I sure they were blistering. I continued until I saw a vent .I looked down and aw the cadet running to the same direction. I followed them down the hallway I kept on going until I reached a dead end and I saw a dim light with a ladder going down. I climb ignoring my arms that stung. As soon as I got down I saw a long narrow hallway I could walk through. I was cold. I wonder how soul was. I hoped he got out in time. Then I thought about last night. That was the best day ever. I reached a door that but, I didn't know what could have been behind it but, I had to take my chances. I walked through door to a blinding light and saw whole bunch of people looking at me. "Mako you're here" I saw Sid walk up to me. "Are you hurt?" I was about to call him sir but forgot I was promoted to officer. "Just burn" he examined them. "I need a nurse over here." he yelled. Just then I saw a tall skinny nurse with long black hair push her way through the crowd. When I saw her face my heart lit up with joy. "This is Tsubaki she will take care of your wounds" I nodded and she come in front of me and gave a warm smile. "Hi are you Mako?" I nodded I guess she doesn't know that it's me. "I'm gonna examine your arms if that okay?" I nodded again. She took out some bandages and set them on the side off me. She looked at me closely. "You know I have a friend back at home that that has the same color hair." She added as she reached for the bandages. "Did she also have olive green eyes?" I said in a regular voice. "Well, yeah she does…." She slowly looked up at me slowly with shock in her eyes "Maka" she whispered. "The one and only" I said with a smile. She started to cry a smile in her face. "What are you doing here?" "I guess I couldn't help being weak anymore." I saw someone else pushing through the talking crowd of cadets. As soon as the crimson eyes meet mine I knew who it was. "Mako, uh, I mean, sir are you okay?" I nodded "Yes cadet I am fine. Thanks for asking." There was an awkward silence between us as Tsubaki wrapped my arms. "All done" she said as she wrapped the last bandage "Thank you nurse." She bowed and left back into the crowd. My eyes meet his again and I immediately thought of last night. Before I could say anything Wes came over to us. "Are you better?" I nodded. "Good I need you over here so I can tell you what we are going to do next. " Okay" I stood up and followed him leaving Soul by himself.

Me, Sid, Stein, and Wes all walked to the front of the room and ordered the cadet to silence and in about 10 seconds silence engulf all the chatter. Stein started to speak. He took the cigarette from his mouth and spoke. "We know that this is new to you and we know that you're not entirely ready but from this point on you are considered soldiers for this country. All of your training will need to be used to help us so we could stop the terrorism that has now entered our country. You will see something that some people will never see in their life. What you see you won't be able to unsee it. When you come back to your regular things won't be the same. Everyone will be going to therapy before you go home. I wish the best to all of you soldiers." As finish no one spoke. "So here are the groups everyone who trained in combat is going with Sid. Everyone trained in piloting and air battle go with Wes. Everyone trained with disassembling landmine and evacuating civilians with be going with Mako is that clear?" all the boy responded and broke up into their groups. This was really happening. We were actually going into war.
