Eric- Oops. Gotta correct that biochip part. I meant to have a motion sensor working here but forgot to change it. Thanks for catching that. And you want Lilith to throw down? Anyone else want Lilith to throw down? Just wait until the end of the chapter. Someone starts to throw down.

Jump City

At the harbor overlooking the water and Titan island, Wonder Woman and Superman found themselves held at bay with practically the only thing they could not combat. Around them, the innocent people of Jump City stood ready to become victims of an interdemensional being's will. They already had their bodies possessed with their souls ready to be taken by the demon God Trigon. Should the heroes attack, the citizens would die. Should the heroes not attack, they would end up slaves of Trigon, making all they have done mean nothing at all.

With Silver Banshee keeping a close eye on them, the free willed heroes had no choice but to stay put. Earlier, they had heard the sound of a far off explosion, too soft to know what it was, but loud enough to draw their attention. Something was going on at Titan Tower, the appearance of a green light confirmed it. A battle was raging with no one knowing what exactly was going on.

"Seems ye pulled a trick on us," Silver Banshee had said when she saw the light. "How did ye get to Lord Trigon without him alerting us?"

Her question went unanswered for a time, bringing things up to now. She could still not understand how anyone had gained admittance to the island and only stood by, guarding those at her mercy through the threat of killing innocents and their peers.

Behind the standoff, Kid Flash and Stargirl watched over Batman and the others with the speedster simultaneously keeping an eye out and smirking at the girl with the earbuds in her ears. Remembering how she was the first time he saw her, in a future he hoped did not exist, she was completely different. The girl now had confidence, something she did not have too much of in that timeline, just like Hawk and Dove. Taking what he learned from working with the team, he let himself feel a bit of pride at what he had done.

"You think they'll be able to get past the others to get to the island?" Gripping her staff tightly, Stargirl nervously looked down the street from the alley she and Kid Flash hid the others in and slowly scanned the streets.

"Maybe. There's a lot of them, but this is the League and team we're talking about. They can beat anything." Turning, Kid Flash checked on the still knocked out League members and black ops agents. "With a little luck, we 'll get through this in no time."

"You make it sound like you always do things like this."

"Well, remember the Reach fiasco? That was potentially world ending. Darkseid, another world ender we beat. Then I heard stories of the League dealing with stuff of the same nature before they went public. Then there's what the team does behind the scenes you don't hear about."

"So...good track record?"

"Yup. One I don't think the'll let go of anytime soo-."

"Hail Trigon!"

Gaining the two young hero's attention, The Riddler pointed at where they hid with several dozen possessed civilians running past him.

"Don't know how you feel," Stargirl said as she donned her earplugs, "but finally, some action." She then turned her music player up and kicked the base of her spear, spinning it in hand and twirling it behind her before striking a fight ready pose.

"Just keep them busy. Hopefully it'll help the others." Adjusting his goggles, Kid Flash shot forward with Stargirl flying behind him.

Titans Tower

With a roar, Lantern landed on the sandy beach, sliding from how fast he came in and swung a massive hammer at Superboy. The hit sent the Kryptonian flying over an incoming Aqualad who took several swipes with his water bearers. Dodging, the glowing green teen flew away, allowing Terra to smash a snake-like sand column into the Atlantean. Arrowette then followed the attack up with a barrage of smoke arrows to cover their whereabouts just as Superboy rejoined the fight and slammed his fist into the ground to force the Titan teens to slightly lose their balance.

Standing on the hill, Lilith watched as the five fought with Trigon behind her. The massive monstrosity had his head back, not caring about what as going on. He was confidant nothing could touch him as nothing could stop him, so showing any sign of worry was impossible as these mortals may as well have been the grains of sand making up the beach.

Limp running, Terra had several stones serve as steps to lift her into the air. Flipping over Aqualad, she tackled him from behind then used the sand to cover him up to his neck. Struggling to get free, the Atlantean was all but finished when Terra was struck hard in the back and practically fell on her face.

With the Earth mover knocked out, Aqualad got back to his feet with his weapons forming into whips. Walking up to him, Lilith stared into his eyes, issuing silent orders before he turned and went after the next of those standing against Trigon.

"Terra's down!" Arrowette yelled. "That Lilith chick took her out!"

"I have an idea!" Lantern yelled. "Keep Conner between us and Kaldur!"

""What for?"

"Magic!"

Up in the tower, Beast Boy and Raven ran down the hallway where the entrance to the hanger was. It had taken a bit to get through the rubble inside the stairway and elevator, but they had finally made it without giving themselves away. A large section of the building had been destroyed when Trigon sat on the building as a throne, letting the outside light come in around his neck. White tendrils of hair flooded the floor and a deep growl filled the hall as they drew closer.

Passing an open room, Beast Boy caught a glance of the fight on the beach. Jogging to the window, he looked down at the battle his friends were fighting. Laying on the ground was Terra, slowly moving while shaking her head as Aqualad and Superboy tried to take out Arrowette and Lantern. Both looked winded and barely kept clear of the possessed duo when he saw Lilith and almost did not recognize her.

"Garfield, what's wrong?" Raven asked as she peeked into the room.

"Terra's down and Lantern and Arrowette are losing to Conner and Kaldur."

"We're here, we can end this."

Turning to the Goth girl, Beast Boy nodded. "I'll go first. I'll get Trigon's attention on me when I go help the others."

"Okay," Raven said with a nod.

"Just promise me you can beat him."

"Garfield," Swallowing hard Raven looked down the hall at where the one responsible for all her grief rested. "I don't think I can."

"What?"

"I, I never thought he would be like this. I can feel the energy flowing off him. It's so much. Massive amounts of power are coming from him that I don't know if it's possible to even hurt him now. We may even be too late."

"We can't be too late." Hurrying to her, Beast Boy clamped his hands on her shoulders. "We're the only ones here. We have to win."

"You don't understand. I have never felt this much power coming off of one person before. It hurts to even stand for me."

"You can do it, Rachel."

"I can try. But if I lose, just know that I am sorry."

Moving in, Beast Boy was about to give her a hug when he stopped and looked back out the window. Seeing as how there was no way for those outside to see what they were doing, he leaned in and completed the hug. "Do it for our friends. Don't give up. And remember we're with you."

Hugging him tightly, Raven closed her eyes and let her empathy ability receive the emotions he and the others outside were experiencing. There was no fear or nervousness coming from any of them, only determination and courage despite what they faced. Taking a deep breath, she let go and donned her hood, nodding as she knew what defeating her father may mean or her.

With the ongoing fight on the beach still at it's peak, Trigon continued to rest with his eyes closed. With every minute he grew stronger as his dimensional merge spell increased to encase Earth with the rest of the universe shortly after. Only a slight breeze could be felt on his red skin and nothing more. All was still for him. Nothing could touch him, or so he thought when he felt a long scratch on the side of his face. Moving his head with a jerk, Trigon saw a green jaguar change into a condor and fly away. Sneering, his eyes began to glow with a yellow energy forming in his fist to smite the bird of prey when a voice drew his attention.

"Father!"

Turning to see who called him, Trigon kept the sneer on once he lay eyes on his only daughter flying several meters before him with her eyes glowing a bright white and hands charged up with her energy.

As Lantern struggled to keep Superboy between him and Aqualad, Arrowette fired whatever arrows she had left to make sure the team's leader would stay where they wanted him. The Atlantean's whips would come dangerously close to striking her and Lantern where they wanted them to, when she saw a green condor dive from the air and morph into a kangaroo to pounce on Aqualad's back. The force of the hit was strong enough to get him to miss attacking Lantern and strike Superboy, putting him down with the magically infused whips. After something of a yell or grunt, the Kryptonian fell to his knees then onto his face.

"Good news, the invincible one's down. Bad news is, Aqualad's still up." Creating a shield, Lantern blocked a swipe from the red colored liquid weapons.

"More bad news, I'm out of arrows. Down to my crossbows." Separating her longbow, Arrowette holstered one of her slashers and drew one of her dual sidearms.

"Hope it's loaded and ready!" Morphing into a humming bird, Beast boy flew between the solidified liquid tendrils and shifted back when he dove to the side as Terra shoved Aqualad forward with a wave of sand.

Seeking to go for the knockout, Arrowette leapt forward with her slasher coming down on Aqualad's head when a dainty hand stopped it. Looking up, she saw Lilith keeping her from taking him out of the fight and ripped the slasher from her grip. Planting her hand on the ground, the Titan's archer went for a low kick aimed at the woman's knees when she missed as Lilith lifted her leg and slammed it back down.

Kicking back, Arrowette fired a bolt from her crossbow, missing as Lilith slipped to the side, almost as if she knew where the red clad girl would aim. Flipping over her shoulder, the teen archer fired twice more, each time missing as the possessed woman danced around them.

"I never miss from this range," Arrowette said once she was back on her feet and standing between Lantern and Beast Boy.

Holding her hand out, the Brazilian woman received one of Aqualad's water bearers. It was still in it's whip form, useful for what she did next as behind her, Terra attempted a surprise attack. Moving her head to the side, Lilith dodged an incoming bola made of sand meant to wrap around her mouth and nose to suffocate her into unconsciousness. Acting quick, she turned and flicked her whip to wrap around Terra's upper body and pulled her hard off her feet. Keeping the line taught, Lilith brought the Titan around and slammed her into her three friends, knocking them all down.

Stalking to were the Titans lay, Aqualad and Lilith brandished their morphing weapons as they changed from whips to swords. Their eyes flashed a brighter shade of red as they closed in in the downed teens when a loud crack tore through the sky and the ground rumbled.

Across the harbor, Stargirl and Kid Flash did battle against The Riddler and possessed civilians. While Kid Flash used his speed to his advantage, Stargirl looked to be enjoying herself as she moved with the rhythm of an experienced dancer. Keeping a wide circle around her, the blue clad blonde girl literally fought to her own beat as the music pumped through her earbuds. Her flexibility was displayed as she ducked a swipe from the possessed Riddler by going low, low enough to where her hair skimmed the ground. Coming back up, Stargirl twirled her staff above her head then slammed it on the ground, sending out a shock wave to knock those around her off their feet.

Stopping on a dime, Kid Flash saw the possessed civilians and Riddler seeking to stand and gave a low whistle. "Glad I found her again." He then looked in the sky, as with Stargirl when they heard a loud crack echo through the city.

(-)

"What was that?" Super girl asked once they heard the crack.

Over the island housing Titan Tower, a black cloud formed above a now standing Trigon. Purple lightning shot down around the other worldly demon and the tower, but instead of accompanying thunder like normal, loud cracks similar to sheets of metal being hit occurred every time a bolt struck the ground.

"By Hera, what is going on over there?" Wonder Woman asked as she and the others looked on.

(-)

"What's going on up there?!" Lantern yelled with a had in front of his face to block the now kicked up wind.

"It's Raven!" Beast Boy told him.

"Never mind her!" Arrowette shouted. "We still have these two to worry about!"

Dashing forward, Aqualad attempted to spear his sword through Terra who managed to dive out of the way on her injured knee. Rolling along the ground, she rose back to her feet with her eyes a bright yellow, commanding the sand to envelop the Atlantean when Lilith roughly grabbed him out of the way a moment before anything could happen.

"That makes twice she knew what was going to happen," Beast Boy commented.

"Think she's psychic? Or can read minds?" Arrowette asked.

"One way to find out." With her eyes yellow once again, Terra focused her power in a different manner.

Instead of directly attacking Lilith, the Earth mover summoned the sand to form figures to rise out of the beach. Each one stood tall as they took one familiar characteristics. Robin, Kid Flash, Aqualad, Superboy, Miss Martian, Artemis, each one was an earlier representation of those they knew right now, when the team first formed. With a wave of her hand, the sand figures sprinted forward, targeting Lilith as the Titans targeted Aqualad.

High above the Titans, Raven and her father squared off. The massive Trigon let his daughter feel just how much power he possessed, sending a dull pain through her even though she managed to block out most of it out. Surrounding her body with her energy, the Gothic Titan began fighting back by reflecting what he threw at her away and into the sky, creating the cloud and lightning. Avoiding an energy shot, Raven retaliated with one of her own, hitting her father in the upper chest and neck. Unbelievably, he stumbled back, underestimating what his daughter was capable of.

Reaching out, Trigon grabbed Raven from the air. He then charged his eyes and aimed to obliterate his daughter, like he had done to his sons who gave their lives willingly to bring him forth. The same could not be said for his only daughter as she refused to let him have his way. Letting out a yell, she expanded the energy around her and broke his grip. Flying around another outstretched hand, she blasted him in the face between his multiple eyes. She had a plan. She intended to force him to use his chakra and absorb his energy to use against him, much like with what happened with Klarion.

Of course, that was before she saw what was happening on the beach.
