Guest - Garfield's around 16 by the time this takes place.

Eric - So you're telling me, I 'did not fail this story'? (Arrow joke, haven't seen the show but I've heard it) And yes, that's exactly why I saved evil Lil for the last, precog powers. And some of your questions will be answered but others will have to wait for at least two more potential stories I have in mind, one between S3&S4 and one taking place further down the timeline to include Nightstar. And thanks again for the tropes page. I printed out the last one you did.

Epilogue

Titan Tower

"Quit eating all the marshmallows!"

"Ha haha haha!"

"I hate onions!"

"Cry baby."

"Shut it."

"What are all these waffles doing here? Who made all these waffles?"

"I did."

"Why?"

"Cause waffles are the breakfast of heroes!"

"Evil beware, we have waffles."

"Where're the yams?"

"In the air...floating away...Carter!"

"So that's what happened to the Cool Whip."

"I'll clean him."

"(Baby giggles)"

Within Titan Tower, the new team met for an early Thanksgiving meal with the black ops team joining them later in the day. It was agreed they all get together a day early with most going to spend the time with their families for the official day. Currently, the five Titan members were occupying the kitchen to prepare the meal they would all partake in with loud dance music playing in the background. Things would have gone smoother if it had not been for Carter who was found covered in whipped topping while chewing on yams in the middle of his play pen in the living area.

Down the hall, M'gann was silently laughing to herself as she picked up on what her son was doing while speaking with Artemis on the phone who was bringing four turkeys over in the next hour, two for Wally, one and a half for the group, and the other half for her daughter while Zatanna was busy preparing something special for dessert after visiting her father in the Tower of Fate. Rounding the corner, the Martian mother saw Raven wiping the sweet topping off Carter's face. He would also need his clothes changed.

Since the defeat of Trigon, the Gothic ten girl had cut her hair back to it's short length. The red tattoos she once had, had faded away, leaving her skin the same pale white it always was. As for the chakra on her head, it stayed and shimmered every time the light hit it.

Passing the dirty Carter off to his mother, Raven went back to help in the kitchen. Once she was distant from those around her, but she had since opened up, behaving like a regular teenage girl, mostly. Still the introvert, she remained quiet but was not ignoring her emotions this time. Garfield could attest to that as he liked seeing her smile. He also liked how he was the only one she allowed to call her by her real name.

Down the hall in the computer room, Conner had Kaldur on a video screen as the Atlantean was in Brazil. It did not take long for the black ops team to locate Lilith's family and she was soon flown back home. It was only two days ago when the Atlantean took time off and journeyed to visit her for the next two weeks. He looked better than he had been and had grown close to Lilith, and vice versa.

"Glad you're doing well," Conner told him. "Too bad you won't be around for tomorrow."

"My apologizes, my friend," Kaldur told him. "But time off from the team and my duties feels...good for a change."

"Happy you went for it when we told you?"

Grinning with a slight blush, Kaldur nodded. "Extremely. Finally fees like I can let myself go for a change."

"Kaldur, we're fixing to eat." Running her hand along Kaldur's semi bare shoulders, covered only by the red tank top he wore, Lilith gave him a slight hug before looking at the screen on his end. "Hello, Conner."

"Hi, Lilith."

"I want to say thank you again for all you and your friends have done for me. Thank you for giving me my life back."

"Not a problem, Lilith. Just take care of Kaldur while he's down there."

"No worries. He was willing to give everything for me. After all that, I'm willing to do the same."

Watching Lilith give Kaldur a peck on the cheek, she waved 'bye' to Conner as M'gann entered the computer room. "Someone wants to know if daddy wants to play."

"Greeting's M'gann," Kaldur said then waved at Carter. "Hello Carter."

Squealing, Carter bounced in his mother's arms as if waiving.

"Your team's been working hard," M'gann told him. Hawk and Dove are proving themselves to be a formidable duo."

"There was a mission?" Kaldur asked.

"Nothing to be worried about. Lightweights. Mammoth and Devastation. Hawk, Dove, Kid Devil, and Vibe took care of them with Nightwing overseeing them. The others are working with various members of the team and have been doing well."

"Speaking of which, how is Batman's investigation going?"

"Nothing new," Conner told him. "He's taken the new Robin and Batgirl with him to find Joker and Harley."

"Any idea who this Batwing and other Robin are?" Kaldur asked after making sure no one could hear him.

"Nothing. Both were found poisoned with Joker venom with 'Will the real Batman please stand up?' Spray painted on the wall behind them. Seems he found it insulting someone else was using a Batman and Robin motif and he wants the real ones."

"Well it would not be difficult to determine they were not the originals given they were not Caucasian like everyone knows the real Batman is."

"Yeah, but just imagine if he did that on Halloween with children dressed as Batman," M'gann told Kaldur.

No sooner had M'gann finished when the alarm went off throughout the tower. Red flashing lights popped out of the upper parts of the walls with various screens displaying 'CRIME ALERT' boldly.

"Talk to you later, Kaldur." Conner said as he stood.

"I will be looking forward to it, my friend. Take care."

Quickly signing off, Conner passed by M'gann as they made their way to the living area where the Titan team stood before the large screen TV.

"What's the situation?" Conner asked as he and his wife joined the group.

"We got two causing havoc in the shopping district past the main intersection to the west," Terra explained.

"Unknown, um, thing, and it looks like that pimple chick you guys fought earlier," Garfield told them.

Bringing up traffic camera footage, the Titan team saw the familiar face of Control Freak as she literally skipped around the city streets. Behind her marched a massive golem type character, which looked like it were made entirely of stone. It's square shaped head swiveled as it looked upon the police officers who fired upon it. Nothing they used put a dent in the creature as it easily crushed the squad car the officers arrived in.

"Big dude," Kyle stated.

"Bigger they are, harder they fall," Cissie commented.

"Titans," Conner said as he watched the screen, "suit up."

Jump City

"Ooh, and I want this one, and this one, and this one. Oh sweet, I didn't know they had these out yet!"

Throwing things around, Control Freak bagged a number of collectible toys into a sack she carried while her partner blocked any attempt to stop her.

"Hehe, good luck getting past Cinder Block, Coppers. Ooh, the new Pretty Pretty Pegasus Ponies! (SQUEEEEEE)!"

Standing atop a building across the street, the Titans watched Control Freak and Cinder Block continue their crime spree. Police had blocked off the streets with most of the populace clear of any danger. Large potholes littered the street from the large, stone figure's footprints as stores housing collectibles were broken into by the pimple faced Control Freak.

Squatting on the ledge of the building, Beast Boy studied the two as they went about their little 'shopping trip'. Behind him, Raven floated in the air with her hood up and cloak flapping in the wind. Lantern was also airborne and ready to go while Terra stood confidently with her arms crossed. Arrowette had an arrow ready in her longbow and was already mentally targeting potential weak points on the stone individual.

Above them, the Bioship had it's bottom open from deploying the team with Sphere housing Carter and Wolf protecting him, since they could not leave him alone in the tower. As for Superboy and Mrs. Martian, they stood behind the team who were ready to move out as back up with the male co-leader itching to go against the stone monster himself.

"She has no idea what she's in for," Terra said.

"Not a clue," Lantern grinned.

"Think we should go easy on them?" Arrowette joked.

"No fun in that," Raven answered her.

"Raven? Fun? Now I know green jeans is wearing off on you."

"Well, Gar," M'gann said as she looked over the team. "You're field leader."

"Get them going," Superboy told them.

Standing, Beast Boy nodded with a wide smile on his face. "And I have the perfect thing for this."

Standing tall, Beast Boy pointed to where the two criminals were causing trouble, and at the top of his lungs shouted...

"TITANS GO!"
