It was the weekend before Dana's Birthday , Clara was invited to go out for icecream with her and some of Dana's friends from the ultimate Frisbee team. "Mom can I go out with Dana later?" Clara asked Blake.

"Sure sweetie. Where are you going?" She asked, wanting to keep tabs on her daughter's whereabouts, especially seeing as she was a few years younger than the others who were likely to be going.

"The Icecream Parlour and then shopping." She replied honestly. "Unless Dana wants me to sleep round I'll be home by six."

"Alright. I love you Clara." She told her before she disappeared back upstairs with her breakfast.

"Love you too mom." She responded.

At around midday Dana knocked on Clara's door, being the closest friend to her and not liking to get the bus into town on her own they decided they would both catch the bus together.

"Hey Clar." Dana greeted.

"Hey Dana." She responded before putting her shoes on and grabbing her bag so they could leave.

Walking to the bus stop together they talked and laughed. "How are you doing?" Dana asked seriously while they were waiting for the bus into town.

"I'm doing good. I think I'm actually starting to get better." She replied honestly. "Thank you for caring and being there." She continued.

"That's alright. You're my best friend." Dana responded and gave her a hug just as the bus came.

Meeting up with a couple of their friends at the icecream parlour they enjoyed themselves and celebrated Dana's coming birthday. Being around some of her best friends really helped Clara forget about her eating disorder, managed to stop it from screaming at her. Even if only temporary.

"Thanks Dana." She said on the way home.

"What for?" She asked.

"I haven't enjoyed myself as much as I did today for a long time." She responded.

"That's alright Clara, it's nice to see you smiling again." Dana responded. "How about we have a sleepover tonight, just like we used to?" She asked.

"Sure!" She responded excitedly.

"Great. It'll be nice to have a friend over."

They went round Clara's quickly to grab her clothes and tell Blake before going to Roxy's place.

"Hey girls." Roxy greeted.

"Hi." They both responded happily. "Where's dad?" Dana asked.

"Playing with Lottie in the play room." She responded, glad to have a husband who got involved in her baby's life.

"Alright." She replied, quickly going to say hello to Tyler before her and Clara went upstairs to put her stuff down and watch movies together.

It was her birthday on Monday then Lottie's on Friday. Roxanne really should have learnt to take extra bags to work with her. Especially seeing the amount Penelope had bought when they were out shopping and that wasn't including presents from the rest of the team. Luckily that week the team had no cases, this was nice as it allowed Roxanne to spend time with her children.

Lying in bed with her one year old daughter on the night of her birthday she smiled. She was blessed to have such a well behaved baby and didn't want to have to put her in her cot, but knew it was safer for her and better in the long run to have her sleeping on her own all the time. Drifting off to sleep before it was Tyler who put her into the cot. Noticing how cute Roxanne was when she slept. After getting himself ready for bed he spooned her, being careful not to wake her.
