Welcome back, everyone. It's Dueling time once again! This is Exiakaiser, and welcome to Metal Hero 5D's Chapter 4. Here, we are introduced, to yet another bounty hunter. Basco is out making his will known, but, unknown to him, there are still some who follow the rules set by Kai before he was forced to go on the run. One such Hunter, or Huntress, in this case, is the opponent for Kai at this time.
Name: Karmilla 'Bloody Queen' Tepes
Alias(s): The Bloody Queen
Age: 21 (Yes, she is older than Kai)
Gender: Female
Physical Appearance: She stands not much taller than Kai, and has long black hair the color of ravens. She wears a crimson and black rider suit, with a crimson helmet.
Personality: Kind, yet prone to get annoyed easily, leading to some awkward moments.
History: Karmilla was just a few years older than Kai, and was just starting her training, when her teacher/father figure brought Kai out of the desert. The two of them grew up together, although they were not even siblings. Karmilla and Kai shared a very interesting relationship, being the most compatible as both Hunters, and people. However, the day before she could announce her feelings to him, Kai was labeled a wanted criminal, and she helped him get a head start.
Deck: Castle Dracula (From the Castlevania series)
Quirks: She is in love with Kai, and is willing to help him.
Duel Runner: Bloody Rose- a modified standard Duel Runner with a blood red color, and a more streamlined look about it.
However, in this chapter, she kinda is being used to capture Kai for Basco's reasons. So, once again, Kai is gonna have to fight. However, he is not alone in this battle. At the same time as Kai was released, Yusei was just about to fight the Warden for the right to leave the facility.
Now, for a funny addition to the lore of this world. The Wasteland Runners all have special AI units in them. Kai's is, as you probably guessed, Wild Gale, keeping with his character's quest.
So, let's sit back and enjoy the ride once again. Disclaimer is the same as always. I don't own the series this is based on, only the original characters I created for the story.
Kai stretched, having been stuck in the detention facility for a while. He felt no sun and said, "So this is the Low town." With that, he walked towards the exit. However, when he reached the open sky, he squinted. He must have been inside for a while.
He then saw he was in New Domino City still. Impressed, he activated JIBAN and said, "Locate Sleipnir."
"Sleipnir tracer located," said JIBAN, "Location- Sector Security Impound Warehouse. Holding time- Indefinite."
"Dammit," said Kai, scratching his head. "Alright, what are our options?"
"Go the easy route," said JIBAN, "and get it via paying for it either an auction, or pay for the requisition papers. Or, if you are hated by them, retrieve it by the sneaking approach."
"Well," said Kai, "Since the Security has me on their list, might as well go the path of the rogue."
-Meanwhile-
"DAMMIT," called out Basco, going through the files, trying to erase the rules Kai had set up. "Why did he set up these safeguards?"
All of a sudden, a phone went off. Basco pulled it out and said, "WHAT?"
"Kai is out again," said a voice on the other end of the phone. "You want I should grab him for ya, boss?"
"No," said Basco, stroking his chin, "I have a better plan. I am gonna send her after him."
"Her," asked the guy on the other end of the line.
"You'll see," said Basco, "Soon enough."
-Meanwhile-
A lone woman sits in a bar in the wastelands. She has long raven hair, and an almost elegant look about her, if it weren't for the black Duel Runner suit she wears. As she sits, she drinks a cup of the local specialty, Sylpher Brew.
"A girl of your beauty shouldn't drink alone," said a man who approached her. He was a strapping guy, with a few scars on his face. "Might I join you?"
"No," said the girl, turning her back on him, "I have no intention of entertaining your fancies tonight."
"Now, hold on there," said the guy, grabbing her arm. That was his first of three mistakes- grabbing her arm. The second mistake was thinking she was just an ordinary girl. And the third mistake was bothering her in the first place. Two hours later, he regretted it, as he found himself being carted to a clinic with 3 broken ribs, 5 compound fractures, and a bloody nose for good measure. Then it hit him, he had just run afoul of the Bloody Queen of the Wastelands Karmilla Tepes.
"Jerk," said Karmilla, scoffing. "Next time, respect the ladies wishes instead of thinking she is even remotely interested." Then, all of a sudden, a phone went off. "Yeah," she said, pulling out the phone.
"Hello, Karmilla," said Basco, on the other end of the line. "Got a special job for you, if you are interested."
"Go on," said Karmilla, intrigued.
"I need you to bring in our old friend, Kai," sad Basco. "He is in New Domino City. And I need him to personally hand over the security passcode for the 'Fair Play' Rules he set up so I can… update them."
"That is gonna be a problem," said Karmilla, "You are asking me to bring in an old member of our own team. That is double pay."
"And you shall have it," said Basco, "Half now, and half after you bring him in."
"Deal," said Karmilla, hanging up. "So," she then said, picking up her helmet and placing some money on the table as the waitress came to pick it up, "Kai is in New Domino City, huh? Interesting."

[WOW! WOW!] The Sun rises over the cityscape of New Domino City as a lone duelists stares into the distance.
[Itsu datte kimi no soba ni kanarazu iru kara BURNING HERO!] Kai, the lone duelist sits on one side of the Sleipnir, watching the sun rise.
[Instrumental] Kai then rides the screen horizontally. A montage of Wanted Posters fly past, as we see Kai's wanted poster.
[Mune ni kagayaku shimei no emblem] Kai walks the streets of New Domino City, running across a lot of his friends and allies.
[Atsui kakugo wo yakitsukete] Kai walks past Yusei, waving as he passes by. The three Synchro Warriors he uses appears behind Yusei.
[Ichibyou datte muda ni wa dekinai kara] Kai waves at Luna and Leo, smiling as he walks past. Ancient Fairy Dragon and Power Tool Dragon appear behind the twins.
[Sou sa Shunsoku no kaze ni naru!] Kai waves at Leena and Rock Data, friends of the family. The Neo-Heisei Riders and the dot Hack and Infershia monsters appear behind them.
[Inochi aru kagiri hashiru yo Kimi no koe ga kikoetara] Kai then gets on his duel runner and rides into the arena, facing Jack Atlas in a turbo Duel.
[Taisetsu na hito wo kono te de sukuitai!] Jack manages to gain the upper hand, synchro summoning Red Dragon Archfiend. Kai then reveals his true power.
[WOW! WOW!] Kai synchro summons out the Dark Star of Wind Wild Gale.
[Takaburu kodou ga engine ni natte GAN! GAN! HEAT UP!] Kai then attacks Red Dragon Archfiend with Wild Gale. The entire group he has met cheers behind him, all cheering him on.
[WOW! WOW!] Jack cheers as he finally gets a kingly duel.
[Hashiridase! Mugen no yuuki de kakenukete iku ze BURNING HERO!] Kai then appears with his friends and faces a beastly shadow standing in front of them.
[Instrumental] Kai then stands alone, with the Dark Stars in a group behind him.
Chapter 4
Storm Castle Dracula!
Battle of Lovers
-That Evening-
Kai was out late, looking for a particular bar. He was told, while in the detention facility, that he should contact a man at Blister's, a bar on the seedy side of town. When he finally found it, he went in. He then looked around, not saying a word.
"Yo, Kai," called out an all too familiar voice, "Glad to see you are out as well."
"Yusei," said Kai, laughing. "How was detention after I left? The food get any better?"
"Not really," said Yusei, joking with Kai, as they went over to the bar. "However, I wasn't there all that long anyway."
"How did you get out," asked Kai, interested.
Yusei spent the next few minutes telling Kai about the duel he had with the Warden. He told of the way the warden cheated, even having both players wear a shock cord while dueling. However, Yusei managed to overcome that, beat the guy, and returned the shock he received several times over.
Kai then laughed really loud. "What's so funny," asked Yusei, confused by Kai's actions.
Kai then sighed and replied, "Sorry, but I knew he would suffer that fate. I even gave him a prediction of it."
Yusei then asked, "So, what brings you out here? I thought you would have returned to the wastes and started cleaning house again."
Kai sighed, annoyed this time and said, "I would, but I got some unfinished business in this town. And to finish it, I need my gear, and my deck."
"What is it that the scion of the Reppuu family would need to seek out," asked Yusei, intrigued.
"My family legacy," said Kai, "The Star Knight cards."
"I see," said Yusei, "So you seek the power of the Stars for a reason."
Then the two of them sat at the bar. "I would like to talk to Blister, if you will," said Kai, handing the bartender a rare card.
"Blister is not here at the moment," said the barkeep, "Try again in an hour."
"Do I really have to use that card to get his attention," said Kai, reaching into his deck box. He then pulled out Wild Gale, and flashed it at the Barkeep. "Tell him its urgent. That if I don't get his intel on a certain part of town, I will be going in blind. Tell him that Kai Reppuu, the former Bounty Hunter King seeks his assistance. That should get his attention." With that, Kai left to get some gear he needed for this little venture.
-2 hours later-
-Undisclosed location-
"So," said Blister, "Let me get this straight. You seek to break into the Security warehouse tomorrow night, steal back your duel runner and deck, and be out of there without being seen. How do you intend to get in there without alerting the guards?"
"Simple," said JIBAN, "I am equipped with a special grapple gun, allowing for smooth travel from a vertical or horizontal stance. I can apply a stun gas that also erases their short-term memory for a short time. I can hack into any computer undetected, and even access and doctor video footage, allowing me and my boss here to remain unseen till the job is done."
"But what if you are encountered," asked Blister, worried.
"I have installed plenty of additional defensive weaponry into JIBAN," said Kai, "From Anti-personnel lasers- non-lethal of course- to taser rounds. However, I will only use them to defend myself in battle."
"So," said Blister, "What do you need of me?"
"Just intel," said Kai, "A blueprint of the Facility, as well as any intel on guard placements, security systems, electronic or otherwise, and locations of computers in the vicinity of the Warehouse."
"It's gonna cost you big time for that kind of information," remarked Blister, pulling out a calculator. He then typed in the numbers, and showed Kai the estimated price for the information Kai needed.
Kai then accessed JIBAN, accessed his funds, and transferred funds in excess of the amount Blister gave him. "Why did you give me that much," asked Blister, "That is ten times the amount I require for what you seek."
"Consider it an additional fee for an additional task I need you to do," said Kai.
"Does it involve getting in more hot water with Security," asked Blister.
"Not really," said Kai, "I am looking for a set of cards that are said to be scattered across the city. I will download the map from Sleipnir, but what I need, if you wish, is to locate each card, marked by a series of dots, and contact me when you find them."
"What cards," asked Blister, "And why do you seek them?"
"That is the smart question," answered Kai, "They are the Star Knight cards, and they are my family legacy. You want to know another reason I seek them? Because the whole world has gone to pot. The person with the power of the Star Knights can right the world, and change it for the better."
"Wait," said Blister, "Is this all because of the Comet that struck the world?"
After a minute of silence, Kai replied, "Yes."
"Then we better get started," commented Blister. "Come back tomorrow evening, and I will have the information you seek."
"Will do," said Kai, "Thanks for your assistance."
-2 days later-
-Night-
"How much further to the next junction," asked Kai, crawling through the air vents. He was wearing a stealth suit, designed to keep him from making too much noise, and yet still feel comfortable.
"20 feet," said JIBAN via a special ear phone embedded in Kai's ear. "Then take a left for about 30 feet, then descend and take out the guard in front of the door. Silent takedown, if you please."
Kai complied, moving another 20 feet, turning left, and then going 30 feet, before reaching a vent cover. He quickly removed the cover, and dropped down, and ran like a bat out of hell. The guard in front of the door to the warehouse only had a slight reaction window of 20 seconds, but was too late, as Kai hit him with the stun probe, built into JIBAN. "30 minutes," said Kai, "That is how long we have before they suspect something."
"Wipe the guard and jack me in," said JIBAN. Kai pulled out a can of memory clearing gas, and sprayed it in the guards face. In the aerosolized liquid was a series of special nanobots capable of altering memories via rerouting electrical impulses in the brain. This 'wipes' memory of 20 seconds past.
"Task complete," said Kai, placing JIBAN at the door. "Now, let's get in there."
"Confirmed," said JIBAN, scanning the door. "Key panel next to door is keycode encoded. Give me a second to access." All of a sudden, JIBAN flipped up a screen, and several numbers appeared. "Type those numbers into the keypad in front of you."
Kai did so, and the door opened. "We're in," he then said, stepping inside. He then ran to the nearest computer and said, "Pull up the inventory and try to find Sleipnir."
"Confirmed," replied JIBAN, tapping into the network. In about 20 seconds he then commented, "Sleipnir is in container 720-B, Wyvern Sector."
"Good," remarked Kai, "Download the map and transfer it to my scouter." All of a sudden, a single eyepiece appeared on Kai's face, covering the left eye.
"Alert," said JIBAN, "Alarms tripped. We are not alone here."
"Track them, and identify," said Kai, while running, "Then let me know whom."
"Tracking," said JIBAN, scanning. "ALERT! Two bio-signatures detected inside the facility. One is two floors down. It's Yusei, as you anticipated, sir. The other one is a floor down. You are not gonna like this."
When Kai saw who it was, he stopped. "Keep her from getting here. HADES! TERUMI! Protocol 27- Operation Name: CONTAIN!"
"Will do," said HADES.
"This'll be fun," said Terumi.
"Let's continue on," said Kai. He ran forward, turning where the map pointed towards. Then he came to the place where the Duel Runner was stashed. He then pulled out a grapple gun, fired it, and launched himself up to the box. Then he jumped into the box, only to find that his Duel Runner was scratched and dinged up badly. "What have they done to you, old friend," asked Kai. Hen then placed JIBAN next to the access port and said, "JIBAN, begin diagnosis and self-repair routines."
"Confirmed," said JIBAN, accessing his delta port, and tapping directly into the Runner's computer system. All of a sudden, both JIBAN and Kai felt a massive electric shock. "ERROR," said JIBAN, retreating, "SYSTEM OFFLINE AND IN NEED OF REBOOT. ALSO FUEL TANKS ARE EMPTY AND A FIREWALL IS IN PLACE OVER THE MAIN SYSTEMS. UNABLE TO ACCES THE SYSTEM WITHOUT ENERGY FOR THE RUNNER, AND CANNOT HACK THE FIREWALL WITHOUT THE OS ONLINE."
"Roger," replied Kai. "However, the Sleipnir power cells run on Protoculture energy, rather on standard fusion cells. However, they seemed to not be in here… A-HA. There's the problem. They were removed." He then spoke to JIBAN, "Where were the power cells stashed?"
"Not far from here," said JIBAN, "Loading to your screen now." All of a sudden, a red blip appeared in a nearby storage sector. Estimated time to retrieve: 5 minutes there and back. Time till the stall operation begins to fail, 4 minutes."
"So, no rush," said Kai, jumping out of the crate and hitting the ground running. He could run fast enough to get there in less than 2 minutes.
-Meanwhile-
"Damn," said Karmilla, "Another dead end. This is getting annoying."
"It would seem," said DRACULA (1), Karmilla's own version of JIBAN, "Kai is reacting like a wounded animal. He is snarling at us, trying to warn us away."
"That it seems," said Karmilla, "However, he would not usually respond this way to me. Why now?"
"Because you are working for the traitor," said HADES, "And he remembers how things went when that happened."
"I agree," said Terumi, appearing right behind Karmilla, causing her to jump in terror. "You need to allow him a little time to be ready for you. He's not fully prepped to face you."
"Then he is gonna have to hurry up," said Karmilla, pulling out a strange gun. Upon firing, it suckered itself to the ceiling, and discharged a field that cut out a hole just large enough for her to get through. "Because I'm growing impatient."
"DAMMIT," said Terumi, "Now what are we gonna do?"
-About a minute later-
"I see," said Kai, inserting the power cell into the Sleipnir. "You did your best. Now, get back here and disable the firewall. We need to get the self-repair systems back online as quickly as possible."
"Roger," said Terumi and HADES, returning to the JIBAN unit. Then, JIBAN accessed the Sleipnir's computer OS, managing to hack the firewall with ease, and starting everything up properly. "Good news boss," said Terumi, everything's up and running. However, it will take about 24 hours for the Sleipnir to be at full health. They really did a number here. I wouldn't be surprised if the duel system had been tampered with as well."
"Start there," said Kai, "Bare-bones repairs if you will. Let's just get this thing operational to begin with, so that it can get moving. I may need to fight my way out of here."
"What's the hurry," said an all-too-familiar voice, "Got someplace you gotta be?"
Kai jumped on top of the crate and saw Karmilla standing in front of him, her hands carrying a pair of blades. "Good to see you, as well, Karmilla."
Karmilla then smiled, happy that Kai remembered her. She then ran over to him and gave him a big hug. "I came to find you after you went rogue," she then said. "You look well. Are you eating properly?"
"Yeah," said Kai. "My guess is that you are here to bring me in again?"
"Never changed," said Karmilla, sighing, "Right to the point. Basco wants you to be brought in to help him update the rules you set in."
"More like remove them," said Kai, annoyed. "He just wants to return to the era of advantage, where we are allowed to cause trouble for the rest of the wastelanders."
"Don't say that like you know anything," remarked Karmilla. "You don't know what he wants to do."
"He tracked me down and slashed one of Sleipnir's tires while I was trying to evade security," said Kai, "This lead to my being held in the Detention facility for long enough for him to find the intel on the Star Knights. If a person other than a chosen successfully gets their hands on all 6 cards…"
"What will happen," asked Karmilla, confused.
Before Kai could answer, Yusei and Trudge ran into the area where Kai was. "You," said Trudge, spotting Kai, "You're under arrest, Bounty Hunter scum! You are charged with breaking and entering into a restricted facility, theft of Security Property…"
"HA," yelled out Kai.
"What," said Trudge, caught off guard. "What does that mean?"
"This is Reppuu property," said Kai, "So you are in deep water for theft of MY PROPERTY! Why is it that once you are sent to detention, you lose your rights as a duelist?"
Meanwhile, Yusei managed to reclaim his Duel Runner and deck. "Dammit," said Trudge, as Yusei started to ride away. "Looks like you get off this time, Bounty Hunter. However, next time we meet, I will personally see you stay behind bars."
"Good luck with that," remarked Kai, who then turned his attention to Karmilla. "I gotta run," he then said, "However, for old time's sake, let's have a turbo duel. If I win, you let me stay here and complete my mission. If you win, I will comply, and then return to complete my mission, so either way, I will get back here."
"Deal," said Karmilla, activating DRACULA. "For old time's sake."
"Just give me a minute to get Sleipnir out of here," said Kai.
"But sir," said JIBAN, "The repairs are only 30% completed."
"It'll have to do," remarked Kai, getting Sleipnir down. "You ready for this, old friend?"
"Turbo dueling against an old friend, turned mark," said Karmilla, "Are you ready to finally make it to the top floor of Castle Dracula?"
"Sure," said Kai, pressing a button.
"Turbo Duel Mode engaged," said Wild Gale, "Now switching on Autopilot."
"Turbo Duel Mode Engaged," said Karmilla's AI Program, "Now Engaging Autopilot."
"Let's do this," said Kai, pressing a button. Karmilla did the same.
"Now engaging 'Speed World' Spell card," said both AI programs.
"I will set us off," said Kai, setting down a can. "Judge man capsule," said Kai, placing a small, soda can-like device on the ground. All of a sudden, a series of spikes embedded themselves in the ground, and one side opened up to reveal a small droid.
"THE AREA WITHING A 1500 KM RADIUS HAS BEEN DESIGNATED A TURBO DUEL FIELD," said the Judge man droid. "ONLY TURBO DUELISTS AND THEIR SUPPORT TEAMS ARE ALLOWED IN THIS AREA. DANGER! PLEASE LEAVE THE AREA IMMEDIATELY!"

"KAI REPPUU VS. KARMILLA TEPES," said the Judge Man droid. "BATTLE MODE 0990, READY?"
Both duelists revved their engines, as if raring to go.
Then the Judge Man lifted his hands into the air in an x-shaped formation above his head and shouted, "FIGHT!" Both duelists shot off like bullets, as if they were trying to get ahead of each other.
"Hope you still have the speed you boasted about," said Karmilla. However, Kai was lagging behind.
"Looks like the Accelerator is busted," said JIBAN. "She gets to decide who goes first."
"I will start things off," said Karmilla, drawing her first hand. "I start by activating the field spell 'Castle Dracula'. Once per turn, I can choose a Fiend- Type monster, a Zombie- Type monster, or a Beast- Type monster, special summon it from my hand, and that monster gains 500 attack points." All of a sudden, the field changed from the ugly photo-negative world that Speed World generated, to a massive European castle. However, as they entered the gates, Kai realized where they were. This was the source of the Lord of all Vampire's power, Castle Dracula. "Then, I summon 'Skeleton' to the field in defense position, and special summon 'Merman' in attack mode."
All of a sudden, a pile of bones appeared on the field. It rose up, forming a humanoid skeleton. Then , as if coming from out of the ground, a man-like fish sprung up.

"Then, I set 2 cards face down and end my turn," said Karmilla.

"Let's do this," said Kai, drawing for his first turn. "I summon 'Zoid- Leo Blaze' in attack mode. Then, I place 3 cards face down and activate the speed spell 'Zoid Emergency Call'. This turn, I can, if I have 1 or more speed counters, special summon a 'Zoid' monster from my hand to the field. So, let's go, 'Shield Liger'!" All of a sudden, a Shield Liger appeared on the field. It was blue, and had an orange cockpit screen on the top of its head. Beside it, a smaller, reddish Liger-class Zoid appeared on the field.

"Leo Blaze will destroy your Skeleton with STRIKE LASER CLAW ATTACK," said Kai, as the Leo Blaze attacked the Undead monster.

"And to finish this battle," said Kai, "Shield Liger will attack your Merman with his Shock Cannons." The shield liger took aim at the Merman with a twin-barreled shock cannon attached to its underbelly and fired a barrage at it, destroying it.

"Impressive," said Karmilla, "You are just as good as you were when you left. No wonder you gave Security a run for their money. However, I activate 'Boss Room', a continuous trap card. This card allows me to, if I have no monsters on the field, to special summon a monster, level 5 or higher with 'Area Boss' in its name, to the field in defense position. I special summon the Area boss of the gate zone, 'Area Boss Giant Skeleton' in defense position." All of a sudden, a massive skeleton appeared on the field. It was not standing, but crawling.

"Guess I will end my turn with a couple face downs," said Kai, setting 2 cards.

"Hope you are ready for the next floor," Remarked Karmilla, drawing for turn, "Because we just entered the chapel. And here, the Giant Skeleton is tributed for the Chapel's area boss, the Manticore, which is placed in attack position." All of a sudden, the Giant Skeleton shattered, leading to a monstrous Manticore, with the head and body of a lion, the tail of a scorpion, and the wings of a bat. The beast roared.

"Manticore attacks your Leo Blaze with Fire Burst," exclaimed Karmilla. The Manticore charged up a red fireball, and let loose. Kai made no move to activate spells or traps, as the blast hit the Leo Blaze.

"Next," said Karmilla, "I set once card face down and special summon 'Chaos Tuner'. This monster cannot be destroyed until the spell card 'Throne Room' is played. However, until it is played, I take 100 LP each turn, starting next."

"Horrible," said Kai, as Karmilla ended her turn. "I draw, and then tribute my Shield Liger to special summon 'Zoid- Liger Zero' to the field in attack mode." All of a sudden, a giant, white lion-like Zoid appeared on the field. It ran alongside Kai's runner, and roared.
Zoid- Liger Zero (6 star/2500 attack/ 1800 defense)
"How," asked Karmilla, confused, "It has no effect like that."
"Actually," said Kai, revealing a facedown, "I activated, as I drew for turn, 'Upgraded Zoid Tech'. This allows me to tribute a Zoid Monster for another of the same species. In this case, Liger for Liger. However, I normal summon 'Jet Falcon' to the field in attack mode, then activate the effect of the Speed Spell 'Asleep in the depths'. This allows me to search for a Zoid card and add it to the field in attack mode." Kai then searched his deck and said, "I special summon 'Murasame Liger' to the field in attack mode." All of a sudden, a strange Liger Zoid appeared on the field. On top of its body, it had a single Katana Blade. This was the Advanced Liger- Type Zoid, the Murasame Liger.

"And finally," said Kai, "I play the last card for the duel. Say hello to the continuous spell card 'CAS Change'. This card can only be used with a specific number of Zoids, and only when I have 2 or more Speed Counters, but this also allows for a series of unique tactics and victories in their own right. So, let's get this thing started. Liger Zero, CAS CHANGE!"
All of a sudden, a Hover Cargo appeared on the field, and the Liger Zero ran towards it. "Change Armor System Activate," said Kai, "Change Jaeger!" All of a sudden, a series of cases appeared around the Liger Zero, and pulled off the basic armor. Then a blue container moved up. Then the same manipulator arms grabbed armor pieces from the container and attacked them to the Zero. When the process was completed, a new Zoid stood before them. "I send back 'Zoid- Liger Zero' to special summon to the field, the 'Hunter' of the Liger Zero series. In other words, I special summon 'Zoid- Liger Zero Jaeger' from the Extra deck to the field in attack mode. LET'S ROCK!" All of a sudden, the Liger Zero Jaeger appeared on the field and started running alongside Kai.

"I now attack your Manticore with Jaeger," said Kai, "And when I do so, his effect activates. You see, he is fast. Even faster in Jaeger form than his original form is. This means he can attack you twice per turn. Go, Jaeger, STRIKE LASR CLAW!"
Suddenly, Jaeger activated his Ion Boosters, located on his back, and increased his speed, rushing the Manticore, destroying it with a swipe of his Laser-infused claws.

"Now," said Kai, seeing the exit in front of him, "Let's finish this, Jaeger, give that Chaos Tuner a good one."
Once again, the Ion Boosters opened up and Jaeger rushed forward. He struck at the Chaos Tuner, dealing a fatal blow.

Duel Over! Kai Wins!
"Damn," said Karmilla, upset. "How could you manage to beat me?"
"I actually thought that if I hadn't gotten so lucky," said Kai, stopping in time, "I would have lost to you. Let's meet again later. We have a lot of catching up to do." With that, he rode off.
"You sure it's alright to just let him run off like that," asked DRACULA.
"Its fine," said Karmilla, "He still believes he has to do this alone. When he finally realizes can't do this alone, we will be there to catch him, like always." She then said to Kai, "My love, be safe."

"Looks like Security is swarming the house," said Kai, hidden a few meters away.
"Just got a message," said JIBAN, "Message follows- 'Security wanted to take us in, but we are actually at a group of close friend's place in the Tops. Come meet us there when you can."
"Looks like we know where to go next, JIBAN," said Kai. However, he then sensed a presence behind him. "You know," said Kai, tensing up, "It's rude to try to sneak up on people." With that, he turned around ready to punch…

Effect: This monster can only be special summoned by the effect of 'CAS Change' and cannot be special summoned by other means. When this monster is sent to the Graveyard from the field, special summon 1 'Zoid- Liger Zero Basic' from your graveyard to the field in attack position.
(1)- Delta Rectifier Action Computational Unit Lesser Access. Essentially, a version of JIBAN made as a mass production prototype, but discontinued after the original test subject went on a rampage. However, Karmilla and Kai found it and upgraded it with parts from a Duel Disk and a few additional spare parts.
