Aaron was delighted when he opened up the cuff links and aftershave from Emily on his birthday. Although he knew she would probably be at work he sent her a text to say thank you for the wonderful presents. What could make this day even better would not being called in to any cases.

Not that that wish was atall realistic, nor did it happen.

Meanwhile at the Masson household Roxane sighed at the sound of her phone at a time way too early for a Saturday, especially seeing as she had been up all night caring for Lottie who had come down with the stomach flu.

"You got a case honey?" Tyler asked her, noticing her sigh and the frown that followed.

"Yeah. I don't want to go in." She responded yawning. Atleast now Garcia was training her she could be home at nights.

"Don't go in then, your looking kinda pale." He said, feeling her forehead to see if she was coming down with the stomach flu. "Your warm too."

"I feel fine Tyler." She replied honestly. "And I have to go in. I'll feel guilty if I don't."

"Oh ok. Well come home if you start to feel sick." He told her, looking at her with concerned eyes.

"Will do." She agreed, giving him a kiss before grabbing her things and heading to the BAU.

Meeting JJ on her way in they talked for a bit about how their weekend plans had been ruined by this case that had just so happened to come along on their day off. Roxane yawned a couple of times in the elevator and JJ looked at her, concerned.

"You alright?" She asked.

"Yeah. Lottie has the stomach flu and I was up all night cleaning up after her and comforting her." She explained.

"Oh. I hear a pretty bad one is going round right now. I just hope Henry doesn't get it."

"I bet you do. I hope I don't get it." She replied, before they got out of the elevator and headed to the briefing room.

After briefing Hotch said "wheels up in 30 and Roxanne went of Garcia's office with her.

She had known she had Lottie's stomach flu pretty early on. Her whole abdomen had started cramping. Garcia knew something was up by the pained look on her face. "You got girl problems?" She asked.

"No. Stomach flu I think." She groaned, having to run to the loo, not wanting an accident, especially not in front of her co workers.

Garcia left her to have a privacy for a bit, knowing Roxanne sometimes liked being left alone while she was sick. When she didn't come back for over 10 minutes she waddled over to check on her. "Rox? Everything alright in there?" She asked, banging on the only occupied cubicle.

"Not really, I might just hang out here for the rest of the day." She responded.

"What's happening?" Garcia asked, preparing herself for the gory details she asked for.

"I have really bad diarrhoea" She answered.

"Oh god that's not good." She sympathised. "Can I come in to comfort you or with some water or pills or anything?" She asked.

"Can you just bring me my bag down and I'll be out to grab it from you." She replied, not really wanting Penelope to see her like this.

"Sure. You should go home." She mentioned before leaving to get her bag.

Roxanne groaned, finally managing to get herself off the loo for a moment and washed her hand, twaiting for Penelope to come back. She would go home if she thought she could manage the 40 minute journey,

"You look awful." Penelope told her, coming back with the bag.

"I feel it too." She responded in agreement, taking some of the pills she packed and texting Tyler to ask for a lift home, knowing even if she could get through 40 minutes she couldn't handle driving while feeling like she did.

"Do you want to curl up on my sofa with some blankets while you wait for him?" Garcia asked kindly.

"Sure. Thanks Pen. Until I need to use the bathroom again anyway."

They both went upstairs, Roxanne curling herself up with a trash can next to her in case she started vomiting, occasionally leaving to go to the bathroom and looking worse each time she returned.

After getting a text from Tyler she said goodbye to Garcia and texted Hotch to tell him she was taking a sick day or two until she was better.

"I told you you weren't well this morning honey." He greeted, concerned about how sick his wife seemed.

"Can we just hurry up and get home. Before I need the loo again." She moaned.

"Sure." He replied, making sure she was as comfortable as she could be before starting the car, not wanting her to have an accident in it.

He noticed her tears and how she seemed to be trying to hold on until she got home to go to the loo. "Darling. Do you have to go?" He asked sensitively.

"I'm really desperate." She responded. "Is there anywhere you can stop before home?"

"No. I'm sorry..." He apologised, noticing the tears more now when she knew there was next to no chance of holding it. "Darling. Don't be upset. I won't hate you for having an accident. I know you can't help it."

She stopped crying for a bit and clutched her tummy. He knew it must be causing her a lot of pain. "I know. But it's embarrassing and it's disgusting and I'm a grown woman so I'd rather not." She responded stopping to focus on holding.

"I know love. I know. We could stop at roses?" He offered, "about 5 minutes. Can you manage that?"

"I'll try." She responded.

They sat in silence on the way to Roses, Tyler occasionally looking over to her to make sure she was doing ok. When they arrived Roxanne ran in straight to the loo, barley saying hello to her stepmother.

"She alright?" Rose asked Tyler.

"Diarrhoea." He responded, "we had to stop at yours or she would have had an accident in the car. Sorry," he apologised.

"It's alright. Where's Lottie?" She asked. Knowing it was unusual for them both to be out without her.

"With Dana, hopefully still sleeping." He responded. "She had that horrible bug yesterday. Poor Rox." He sighed, knowing if she was feeling anything like the sounds of Lottie's cry's yesterday's implied-it was bad. "I really hope I don't come down with the thing."

"As long as you stay away from cleaning up after either of them and maybe use a different bathroom it should be alright. And no kissing on the lips."

"That would make her feel better though..." Tyler thought for a bit, wanting Roxanne to feel like she was still cared about.

When she came out she cuddled herself into Tyler as much as she could. "Hey baby, feeling any better now it's all out?" He asked. "yeah, a little."

"Good." He responded, picking her up and carrying her bridal style back to the car.

Tyler sighed when he noticed she had fallen asleep before they got home. Realising she must be really tired seeing as she could never normally sleep in the car. Carrying her in he put her down gently on the couch and wrapped her up in some blankets, making sure she seemed comfortable before going to ask Dana how Lottie had been.

Luckily it seemed like Lottie was starting to get better. He played with her for a bit before getting her to eat some food, seeing as she had nothing in the last 24 hours she really needed it.

After putting her to bed that night he went to sit beside Roxy who was now awake. Running his fingers through her hair he spoke to her softly. "How are you feeling?"

"Just a bit nauseated." She replied. "Could you get me a cup of tea?" She asked.

"Sure darling." He replied, giving her a kiss on the cheek before getting up to make her the drink. "Need the sick bowl?" He asked from the kitchen.

"Please. Just in case."

He came in with the bowl and the tea, placing the bowl on the floor and waiting for her to sit up before passing her the tea and placing his arm round her. "Just drink it slowly." He advised.

"I will." She responded, taking a small sip of her tea, delighted that he had put sugar in it. "Thank you."

"It's alright. I enjoy looking after you."

She snuggled herself into him some more while still taking small sips of the tea he had made. "You make me feel so much better."

"I'm glad." He paused. "Your really burning up love." He noticed before going to get the thermometer. "102. That's pretty high my darling." He told her in a caring tone.

Roxy closed her eyes for a second, not really listening to what he was saying and tried to get the feeling like she was about to vomit to go away. Tyler saw what was coming and passed the bowl to her. "Let it out darling." He told her reassuringly. Holding her hair and rubbing circles on her back while she vomited.

"Why do we have kids?" She asked once she had finished.

"It's what we wanted... A house full of kids..." He reminded her.

"I know. I just hate the stomach flu."

"So does everyone." He told her. Giving her a warm hug. "I'll clean the bowl for you." He offered. And then went to do it before she could argue.

Roxy layed herself back down while he was gone, curling herself up into a ball and wrapping her blankets over her body as she was feeling cold. If she didn't move she knew she'd be ok and not have to vomit again.

"Oh darling." He said before sitting beside her. "At least the diarrhoeas not so bad now."

"Thank god." She responded, grumbling a little.

"Hey darling..." He spoke softly rubbing her back. "Cheer up." He told her, not liking to see her so sick and having her mood be awful along with it.

She gave him the silent treatment and closed her eyes, hoping she could just sleep it off.

In the morning she woke to find Tyler had carried her up to bed, still feeling as horrible as she did the day before. Getting her phone from her bedside table she called Hotch, hoping he would answer.

"Hello Roxy." He greeted.

"Hotch, I'm going to need another day off. Sorry, I'm feeling pretty horrible still."

"That's fine. Just get better. I know how horrible stomach flu can be." He responded.

"Thanks."

After ending the call with Hotch she sent a text to Garcia, letting her know that she wouldn't be around.

When Tyler woke up he saw her curled up in bed scrolling down Facebook on her phone. "Not feeling better?" He asked, knowing that she would normally be up getting ready for work.

"No. I'm taking another day off." She responded. "Could you bring Lottie in to me before you go to work?"

"Sure love. Do you fancy trying to eat something?" He asked. Knowing she hadn't eaten since dinner the night before she got sick.

"Maybe something small."

"Alright." He agreed, giving her a kiss on the cheek before going to make her her food and get himself and Lottie something.

Around lunchtime Penelope knocked at the door. Dana ran to answer it and directed her upstairs where Roxy was sitting upstairs and Lottie was taking a nap snuggled into her. "Hey Rox. I have soup." Penelope greeted.

"Oh Pen, you are amazing!" She exclaimed, taking the soup and thanking her.

"It's fine, how are you feeling today?"

"Still not great." She replied. Taking small mouthfuls of the soup Penelope had bought for her in the hope it would make her feel better.

"Hopefully it will pass soon." She responded, sitting down on the side of Roxy's bed.

"Yeah I really hope so. Lottie's better now so I should be by tomorrow."

"Good, just get all the rest you can and take all the time off you need. Your training can wait a couple of days if needs be."

"Thanks pen. How's the case going?" She asked.

"All done, they will be flying home soon." She responded.

"Oh that's good." Roxanne sighed with relief, glad she hadn't left them on a hard one.

"How's the soup?"

"Really good. I needed it." She replied. "Thanks again pen."

"That's alright, I really like to take care of my family." She replied, hugging her for a while before leaving to go home, seeing as she had no need to be at the office now the case was over.
