Hey my wonderful viewers,
Guess what? This story got nominated into SSoA (Some Sort of Awesome), and I have been dubbed Rising Star #4 all thanks to Layla Dean and 4EverDivergent, so I am dedicating this chapter to them. Thank you all of you who have read this story and thank you for reviewing and following and for the favourites, it makes my day. Xx

Macey quickly stepped out of the closet and locked the door behind her; she held up an empty Napotine patch packet and grinned wickedly at me. That guard was going to be out cold for some time.
She then tip-toed to the vault's entrance and waited whiles each of the lights from the cameras that were focused on the vault disappeared. Liz and Bex must have had no problems hacking the security software… who am I kidding, Liz had no trouble, Bex would have been complaining about her boredom.
Macey stopped in front of the keypad and typed in the code I had whispered to her earlier.
1-9-0-7
Straight away the vault opened. Looks like Erin wasn't lying about her birthdate; how sweet that her father was thinking about her when he locked away all of his stolen money.
Macey and I stepped inside the vault and looked around; it was filled with gold and money and some very expensive looking jewels, it actually reminded me of Bellatrix Lestrange's vault. I thought about Erin, the girl upstairs who was about to lose her inheritance, and I actually felt a bit guilty. But then I remembered where this money came from; human trafficking, other people's bank accounts and forgery. Suddenly I didn't feel quite so guilty.
Macey pulled out the tiny explosives Liz had been working on and planted them around the vault; after Zach's stunt with our last bomb on the train, we had decided to make the explosives a lot less easy to find.
"Okay Mace, you have three minutes before the cameras come back on." Bex's voice came through both our comms.
"Yeah, yeah I've got it." Macey rolled her eyes and walked back out the door, she pulled out a sticky note and pen and scribbled the words; Gone for coffee. She stuck the sticky note on the now unoccupied chair and started back down the hallway.
That should keep the surveillance crew from wondering where the guard had gone. I jogged after Macey and we made it back into the ballroom with two minutes to spare.
Important Russian aristocrats –like Karmen Lotus and Kate Winters- waltzed around the room in silky V-necked dresses and $600 shoes. And I still felt like I was in a dream. Maybe it was the nerves or the guilt that came with what I had to do, but I suddenly felt like throwing up all over Destiny Mia Darl'e's gold sequined dress. Though that probably wouldn't be a great idea seeing as she could have the whole Mafia come after me if I so much as touch her purse.
Talking about purses; there was a girl directly to my right named Addison Weatherall, who was of course completely normal (Well as normal as a mastermind criminal could get), but you know the type; pale blonde, Retro curled hair and a high neck-lined dress that was distinctively tight. There was nothing at all out of the ordinary about her… except for the fact that she hadn't noticed the short, black haired girl who was now stealing the expensive silver bracelet right off Addison's wrist.
The black haired girl walked over to a stunning blonde haired boy and as they were walking away I heard him say, "You, Kitty Kat, really are the best of the best."
This, when I thought about it, was odd, seeing as earlier in the night her name had been Isabell. This whole gala was filled with con-artists.
"Cammie, it's time." Alexandra White touched my shoulder and motioned towards the backyard. I was so disorientated and nervous that it took me three point five seconds to realise that the girl was really Kim in a red wig.
"Of course, sorry though but my name is Viviana." I told her, falling back into character as she walked off and almost bumped into Callie Maiden. Looks like I wasn't the only Gallagher Girl who needed to keep their wits about them. Though I didn't blame Kim for being a bit disorientated, this was a big event after all, and I'm not even talking about the gala.
It had been ten minutes since Macey's job down in the vault and all the guests had crowded outside to wait for the fireworks to start. It was perfect really, the noise of the fireworks would cover the noise of the vault exploding, and the exploding vault would cover the reason of why we Gallagher Girls were really at this gala. We didn't really want the CIA to know that we were here to abduct one of their agents.
I was in the middle of an interesting conversation about stolen artwork with Lillian Kacie Karoline Wendler, Aoife Keville and Alisson Smith when someone placed their hand on my shoulder and I didn't need to turn around to know that Zach Goode was standing behind me. "Gallagher Girl, hand me the detonator."
I twirled around and smiled at him; I then reached into my purse and gave him a mobile phone. "You sure you want it Goode?" I thanked the gods that my two conversation partners had walked off as soon as Zach had appeared. It would have been awkward explaining to them that I was about to set off explosives.
Zach eyed me suspiciously and then looked at the phone in his hands, unsure of what to do. But that was fine, because I had already activated the tracking device and Liz was bound to be closing in on the signal by then, Bex would be driving the van I supposed; I just hoped she didn't run over anyone.
As Zach thought things through I watched with mild amusement as the fourteen year old Alison Danielle (Real name: Dana Astor) tripped over the leg of a patio table and went tumbling across the lawn, spilling red wine –which she hadn't taken a sip of- down Peggy O'donald's flowing white dress. Alison's grey eyes widened as she stammered apologies in French. Looks like I wasn't the only one causing a scandal at this party.
"It's out of my hands now Zach, I can't stop it." I said; turning away from the scene Alison had caused. As though to prove my point was correct, there was a subtle booming noise that coincided perfectly with a firework. None of the guests would have noticed the noise but Zach sure did.
"Someone else detonated the bomb didn't they?" He looked at me, slightly confused, "How many of your sisters are here tonight Gallagher Girl?"
When I didn't answer him he searched the crowd around us, but of course everyone was watching the fireworks, no one looked out of place. That was, of course, until I spoke softly into my ear piece and said three words that changed everything; "East Wing Garden."
I had chosen this spot because no one would notice us; we could see everyone from where we stood but no one would pay us any attention, not that the guests would even care; they're all criminals after all. Well okay almost no one noticed us, I had had a bit of trouble earlier coaxing Savanah Martin and her male cohort to leave the area. Let's just say they weren't overly happy about being interrupted.
Silently and quickly girls in the crowd began to turn, they started to slink towards us, an army of all different sizes, shapes and colours. All of them coming towards us as a united sisterhood, all set on one purpose; protecting our school and its sisters.
My junior class gathered around Zach and I; forming a tight knit circle that Zach couldn't hope to escape. Suddenly there was the roar of an engine as Bex pulled up beside us in Lizzie's environmental experiment van.
Zach turned to me eyes wide as Mick and Kim grabbed his arms and handcuffed him. "Gallagher Girl what are you doing?" He asked, letting his voice betray a hint of emotion that I couldn't quite place, was it hurt?
"Protecting my school Zach, you have information that we need." I pretended to be uncaring, to be set on my goal and nothing else, but what I really wanted to do was let him escape. Though I don't think that would go down to well on my record. Cameron Ann Morgan, letting boys ruin missions since 2006. It would make a great slogan don't you think? I could have a sticker on the back of my car.
"This is stupid Gallagher Girl; let me go," in a last attempt to gain my help he said, "Hadley please."
It was him thinking that he had used my real name that reminded me that Zach and I could never work out, I was feeding yet another boy lies and I knew for a fact that relationships like this never ended well. I had a duty to my school and to my sisters and their safety came before any boy.
So I turned to him, cocked an eyebrow like I had seen Macey do a hundred times and said. "My name is Cameron Morgan, not Hadley. Girls put him into the van and let's go."
Zach looked at me in surprise as they loaded him into the van. "Morgan as in Matthew Morgan?" he asked sounding slightly annoyed. I just nodded slightly and hopped into the passenger seat of the van. A minute later as we started to drive away I heard him hit his head slightly onto the wall of the van and mutter, "Flirted with a Morgan, nice one Goode. CIA is going to love that."
I had no idea what he was on about but I honestly didn't care, no-sire not a single bit. What the Hell was wrong with flirting with me? As you can tell I definitely didn't care.
To distract myself from thoughts of Zach I turned to look at my best friend, who for some reason was wearing a deep maroon coloured dress. "Bex," I sighed, "Why?"
Bex chewed on her lip before grinning at me, "In case you needed back up. I even had an alias prepared and everything, see." She held up a fake ID card that clearly stated that her name was Lena Marilee White.
I shook my head at her, "And how long did it take you to make that?" I asked, knowing full well that she had had this planned for the last week or so.
"Took Lizzie three days to perfect it and pick out names, I believe she wanted to call herself Lexie." Bex laughed slightly at my shocked face. Liz had helped her? What was the world coming to?
"Ah Darling stop stressing would you? If you want we can go boy shopping next week, get you a nice guy who is too dumb to be a danger to the school…" Bex trailed off as I shot her a look; half the Junior class was in the back of the van and I really didn't want them finding out about my feelings for Zach.
Oh God, I just used the word feelings, I was done for. I couldn't lie to myself anymore; I cared about Zach Goode.
It's finally over. You have no idea how bloody hard it was to add all of you into those two chapters. I'm super sorry if your character wasn't portrayed in the right way or if you didn't get described at all, it's just that the chapter wouldn't make much sense if I kept describing everyone's outfit and hairstyle. Actually I'm pretty sure it doesn't make any sense anyway. '
Anyway why don't you all tell me what you think? Sorry about it not being very good, same goes for the chapter before this one.
Also hardly anyone is reviewing anymore, if you guys don't review than I start to think that no one likes this story, which leads to me not writing anymore chapters and moving on to my other stories.
Love you all,
-Matisse xx
