Come thanksgiving everyone was pleased to have a few days off, or at least supposedly. As long as a case didn't come along. Everyone was looking forward to a day at Rossi's, giving thanks and enjoying a meal as a big family. Something they didn't get to do all that often.

Unfortunately it seemed impossible to get through a thanksgiving without a case, during dinner Hotch got a phone call and excused himself to take it.

"I guess that's the party over." Rossi told the rest of the team who all proceeded to sigh as they were all hoping for the day off.

"Yeah. That would be the party over." Hotch told them after coming off the phone. "Wheels up in 30."

"Where are we going?" JJ asked.

"Arizona" Hotch answered.

"Hotch can I have a word?" Blake asked.

"Of course. Lets go into the living room." He answered.

"Can I sit this one out? I want to keep an eye on Clara."

"Of course Blake. That's fine. I'll see you when we get back."

"Thankyou." She responded greatfully.

"That's okay. Your family need to come first. I understand that." Hotch answered before him, Reid, Rossi and JJ headed to the airport and Roxanne and Garcia headed to the office.

"Rox are you sober enough to work?" Penelope asked.

"Pen. I barley drunk. I'm fine." She answered. "'I'd worry more about Rossi and JJ." Roxanne continued.

"Yeah I would to. Hopefully they'll sober up a bit during the flight."

"It's four hours to they should do." Roxanne answered, laughing slightly. "Serial killers really struggle to be considerate of holidays right?"

"Yeah that's true." Penelope agreed to both of Roxanne's statements. "Not getting thanksgiving off has to be one of the worst things about this job. And god forbid we could ever get Halloween off." Penelope replied.

"Yep. All the killers come out at halloween." Roxanne laughed.

Meanwhile the rest of the team we're boarding the plane. "JJ take a nap." Hotch ordered. "Seeing how drunk she seemed."

"Uh okay…" JJ agreed, feeling too drunk to dispute it.

"I suggest you take a nap to Dave." Aaron said. Knowing he was also fairly drunk.

"Aaron I'll be fine. All I need is coffee and I'll be sobered up in no time."

"If your not your going straight to the hotel." Hotch warned. Not wanting drunk agents working the case.

"I will be Aaron. Don't sweat." Rossi answered.

"Okay." Hotch responded, largely trying to ignore the two drunk members of the team. "Reid lets get a headstart and fill them in later." He continued.

"Sure." Reid agreed as Hotch set up the video link between Garcia and Roxanne.

"Heyo guys!" Penelope greeted. "What do we have?" She asked.

"Lost child. Age 3." Hotch aanswered. "We're on the clock with this one." He told them.

"Yes I know. 24 hours." Penelope responded. "Tell me what you need and me and Roxanne will get on it."

Hotch told the two everything he needed from them, with a sense of urgency in his voice hoping the little boy would be found.

"Makes you think of your babies doesn't it?" Roxanne asked.

"Yeah. It does." She replied sadly. "Can I protect my girls from this?"

"I don't know Penelope. I'd like to say yes but these things often happen at the most unexpected of times." Roxanne answered.

"Yeah. I know. I can't begin to imagine how the family of this darling boy feels."

"Neither can I Pen. Its always in the back of my mind that something could happen to Lottie and Dana."

"Yeah. I bet." Garcia replied. "let's being this boy home safe."

"I won't be able to sleep until we do. Child cases always affect me the most."

"Me too." Penelope agreed. Just as an phone's Roxannes mobile.

"Hey Alex. What's up?" Roxanne answered.

"Is it okay if Dana sleeps round tonight?"

"Of course it is Alex. How's things with Clara?"

"I don't know. She's not really speaking to me."

"Oh Alex. I'm sure she'll come round. Just make due she knows your there for her."

"Yeah. I'm trying." She answered. "I wish I could help her more."

"I know you do. But your doing the best you can Alex. Remember that."

"Yeah I'm trying." Alex paused. "What's the case?"

"Missing 3 year old." Roxanne sighed.

"Oh. Well if you need any help them give me a ring." Alex offered.

"Sure thing. I'll pass it on to the rest of the team." Roxanne answered.

"Okay. I'll see you soon. Bye."

"Bye Alex." Roxanne said before putting the phone down.

"She okay?" Penelope asked.

"Yeah. She's fine, just worrying about Clara."

"Hopefully she'll get better soon." Penelope paused. "Sweet Clara."

"Yes. I hope so too." Roxanne answered.

72 hours later the case was solved and the boy, having beaten all odds was returned saftely to his family. Fairly unharmed. It seemed as though the unsub we raising him along with other children to become slaves. The case had a good outcome, one of the few of the best days. Children saved and a bad guy stopped
