Author's Note: I love chibi turtles, so this made a lot of sense to me to write for this prompt. Also, dorky Leo is wonderful. *I can see him being between 9 and 11 in this drabble.* Enjoy!

"Status report," Captain Leonardo ordered from his chair on board the Starship Endeavor. Crankshaw, the ship's pilot, turned away from his control monitor, his face ashen and his eyes as wide as empty saucers.

"Captain! The Remian forces are closing in! There is no escape! What are we going to doooooo?!" he wailed in a panic. Leaping from his chair, Captain Leonardo stormed up to the crewman and struck him across the face.

After a moment of stunned silence, the man seemed to pull himself together as he rubbed his cheek.

"Thank you, Captain."

"Don't mention it," Captain Leonardo said dismissively as he turned to his second in command, "Commander Grundch, prepare the ship for battle."

"Aye, Captain," he grunted and turned to give instructions to the other members of the crew.

Suddenly, the widescreen communicator came to life and displayed a large, gelatinous alien, whose only distinguishable features were a set of sharp teeth and a large, murky colored eye set over the jaws. Captain Leonardo narrowed his eyes as he recognized the hated dictator or the Remian Homeworld.

"Captain Leonardo!" the alien's tinny voice bellowed over the starship's loudspeakers, "You are foolish if you believe that you can defeat my forces!"

Springing to his feet, Captain Leonardo strode over toward the monitor and pointed in the villain's direction, directly challenging him.

"General Raegan! It is you who is the foolish one for daring to challenge the heroic Captain Leonardo!"

The general laughed wickedly, his blob-like body jiggling uncontrollably from the force of his laughter.

"We shall see about that!"

The screen fizzled to black a second before the ship started rocking from the impact of a number of laser cannons. Captain Leonardo struggled back to his command chair and sat down as another jarring impact nearly sent them off course.

"All hands, to your stations! Prepare for battle!"

"Leo!"

Leo's eyes snapped open to see the face of his little brother just inches from him. Big brown eyes stared at him from over the edge of the mattress.

"What is it, Donnie?" he groaned as he sat up, rubbing his sleepy eyes.

"Papa says it's time for breakfast."

"Okay…," Leo said, swinging his feet off the bed. Donnie scampered out the door, leaving Leo alone in the semi darkness.

He looked at the Space Heroes poster hanging on his wall and was certain that he could have defeated the Remian forces. Just like his idol did every week.
