It was the 22nd of December, the day Emily would fly over to spend Christmas with the team, Roxanne was busy tidying the house whilst Tyler was out shopping with Lottie to finish getting Christmas presents. As Roxanne was cleaning the house she revived a call from Hotch.

"Please don't day we have a case." Roxanne answered.

"We don't. Is Emily staying round yours?" He asked.

"Yeah. I think so." She answered. "Why?"

"I was just wondering." He replied. "I miss her."

"Oh well if she wants to stay with you I'm fine with that." Roxanne answered, knowing about their relationship.

"No it's okay. I don't want to intrude."

"Your not Hotch. How about she spends half her time with me and half with you?"

"Sure I'll agree to that." He answered. "What time does she get in?"

"3pm. I'm going to pick her up from the airport. Do you want to come?"

"If that's okay with you."

"Thats fine by me Hotch. I'll see you later."

"Okay Roxanne. Bye." Hotch responded before putting down the phone. "Jack Roxannes going to pick us up later and we're going to meet Emily at the airport." He told his son.

"So I'll get to see Emmy?" He questioned.

"Yes bud. You get to see Emmy."

"Yay!" he answered excitedly.

"You miss her too right?" Hotch asked.

"Yes. What time are we leaving?"

"Roxanne's picking us up at 2:30." Hotch replied. Glad to see his son so happy.

"Great! Is Emmy going to be at Roxy's for Christmas?" He asked, known this year Christmas would be hosted at her house.

"Yes bud." He answered.

"Yay!" He exclaimed again.

Later that day Roxanne came to pick Jack and Hotch up to go to the airport and see Emily. "Hello Roxy." Jack greeted happily.

"Hello Jack." She replied and gave him a hug. "How are you?"

"I'm good Roxy." He answered.

"Hello Roxanne." Hotch greeted.

"Hello Hotch." She replied. "You ready to go?"

"Yep. We're ready." He answered. "Where's Dana?"

"Wiped out after finals."

"Oh..." He laughed, remembering what high school was like himself.

"Yeah I think she just needs rest." Roxanne answered.

"Yeah. She'll be back to herself soon."

"I hope so. I've been worried about her lately."

"I bet you've liked being able to come home at nights."

"Yeah I have but I do miss coming away with you all sometimes." She answered.

Arriving at the airport Roxanne parked up before they went in to wait for Emily. They decided to stand by the café to wait for her and Roxanne sent a text to let Emily know where they were.

"Hello everyone." Emily greeted, walking over with Harry in her arms happy to see Jack, Roxanne and Hotch.

"Emmy!" Jack exclaimed excitedly.

"Hello Jack." She greeted.

"Hello Em." Hotch greeted. "I missed you and Harry." He answered happily. "Can I hold him?"

"Of course you can." She replied and handed Harry over to Hotch.

"Hey mom." Roxanne greeted.

"I've really missed you Rox." She responded and gave her daughter a hug.

"You too mom." She answered.

"How is everyone?" She asked them both.

"Everyone's good mom." Roxanne told her.

"Good." Emily responded as they walked to the car. Driving home everyone talked and they dropped off Hotch and Jack back home before going to Roxanne's. "Hello Emily." Tyler greeted.

"Ga ma!" Lottie said excitedly, toddling over to Emily.

"Hello sweetie. Hello Tyler." Emily greeted. "Where's Dana?"

"In her room." Tyler answered. "You can see her if you want."

"Okay. Do you mind if I put Harry down?"

"Not at all. I'm sure Lottie would like a play mate." Roxanne answered.

"Okay." She replied, putting harry down on the floor before going to see Dana."

"Dana." Emily said, knocking on her bedroom door. "Can I come in?"

"Of course you can Emily."

"Hello sweetheart. How are you?" She asked.

"I'm good Em." She answered.

"You sure. You look tired."

"Yeah I am slightly. How was your flight?"

"It was okay. There was another baby so II didn't feel so bad about Harry when he cried for a bit."

"That's good then." Dana answered.

"Yeah it was." She answered.

"I'm going to go downstairs. I'll see you later." She told Dana.

"Okay Emily." She answered happily.

The next day was the day for Penelope's baby shower which would be held at JJ's house. Emily woke up at early, having been woken by Harry wanting his breakfast. Fortunately Roxanne was already up so she didn't have to worry about waking everyone up. "Morning mom." Roxanne greeted whilst she was feeding Lottie.

"Morning Rox. These kids do like to get us up early don't they?"

"Yes they do. How are you?"

"I'm okay. Fortunately not feeling too Jet lagged." She answered.

"That's good. I'm going to make pancakes for Dana and Tyler this morning. Would you like some?"

"Please Roxanne. Why aren't you going to have any?

"My stomach's not feeling great this morning and I know eating all that fat will make it worse."

"Oh. Have you been to the doctor about that yet?"

"No. I'm kind of scared."

"Well you should Honey. I know you're scared but they might find something to fix it."

"Yeah, I know." She answered.

"Good. There's nothing to be scared of." Emily reassured.

"I just feel uncomfortable about talking to the doctor." Roxanne answered.

"I'm sure Tyler will go with you. And any of the team will be happy to come with you."

"Yeah, I know mom…" She answered.

"Okay. Well get it sorted will you?"

"I'll try." She answered.

"Okay honey." Emily replied, whilst feeding Harry.

Later it was time for Penelope baby shower. Prentiss, Roxanne and Tyler got their early to help JJ finish setting up. "Emily! I've missed you so much!" JJ exclaimed, hugging her old friend.

"You too Jayje." Prentiss also exclaimed.

"Have you got your picture? I took everyone elses the other day."

"Yes." Emily responded, taking the picture out of her purse and passing it to JJ. "This is so embaressing."

"Emily you were a really cute baby." JJ complimented, looking at the picture of baby Emily in a summer dress out on the lawn at her mother's house.

"Jayje I really wasn't."

"Em you were." She answered. "No arguments."

"Uh okay…" She responded. "I don't think I was very cute though."

"Okay. Well I think you were." JJ answered as they all went in and finished setting up for the shower and JJ put Henry to bed before everyone arrived.

When everyone arrived Penelope first opened her presents before they played games and chatted amongst eachother.

"Reid have a go at bobbing for nipples." Roxanne egged on.

"Roxanne do you know how unsanitary this game is? There's at least 862,000 bacteria within that bowl."

"Oh live a little Spence. No one's sick here."

"But they could become sick or be carrying something."

"Spence I do love you but really there's no need to be so paranoid about all of this. Have you ever played bobbing for apples?"

"Yes. As a young child."

"Did you ever get sick from it?"

"No."

"Okay there we go. You won't get sick this time." Roxanne answered.

"Okay. 'll have a go." He agreed despite feeling uncertain about it. Spence answered and gingerly dunked his head into the bowl to have a go.

"There we go pretty boy. It wasn't that bad was it?" Morgan asked after he'd had his go.

"No it wasn't." He answered. "But that doesn't change the fact that this game is hugely unsanitary."

After the shower everyone went home for the night, Prentiss feeling especially tired went straight to bed once she got back to Roxanne's.

"You better not get sick. Spence won't be impressed." Roxanne joked.

"I'm not getting sick. Just slightly jet lagged." She answered. "And Harry's sure to wake me early."

Roxanne laughed. "I know what that's like. Lottie will wake me early too." She answered.
