A couple of days later it was Christmas, the plan was for the team to come round Roxanne's to celebrate and eat Christmas dinner. Unfortunately the ended up being called in on a case. kidnapped children from a family's house the previous night.

"Can I come?" Emily asked Roxanne.

"I guess so. Ask Hotch." She responded.

At that moment Emily phoned Hotch to ask if she could come on the case with the team, pleased that Hotch agreed as she missed going on cases with her old team and wanted to spend time in the hotel with Hotch.

Meeting everyone in the Office, Garcia quickly briefed everyone before she and Roxanne went to her office and the team boarded the plane.

"It's nice to have you with us." Morgan told Emily.

"Yeah. I really missed you guys." She answered.

"Are you coming back?" Reid asked.

"No… not right now anyway. I really don't know yet." She answered.

"Okay." Reid responded.

"We'd like you to come back." Rossi told her.

"I know you would, but I have too much baggage to be here long term right now. With Doyle and everything…"

"We understand." Rossi answered. "You're always welcome if you decide you ever want to come back."

"Thank you Rossi." She answered.

"That's okay. I think we can all agree that you were a great member of this team."

"Yes. You we're" Hotch answered, looking at his girlfriend lovingly.

"Thankyou. Hotch." She replied, despite the fact that they were on a first name basis she felt it would be better to call him Hotch as it would be more professional.

Arriving in New Jersey after 45 minutes on the plane the team headed to the local station that they would be based at until the case was solved and talked to the detective about what they had done towards solving the case so far and headed into the room they would be based in order to talk through and discuss the case. Knowing they were on the clock, they moved fast and didn't hesitate to progress.

Meanwhile back at the office Penelope and Roxanne we're getting into Beth's social media's to see if she had been talking to anyone who may have committed the crime.

"It seems like she was being groomed." Roxanne told Garcia. "Look at her messenger."

"Yes It seems like she was being groomed by the same person on her Instagram too."

"I'll tell the team." Roxanne responded. "Are you going to try and track him."

"Yes, I'll do my best but it will take a while if he's clever."

"Yeah I know Pen." She responded before phoning the team to give them updates to help with the profile and give them guidance.

"Hello Rox." Morgan answered.

"Morgan the eldest was being groomed. Garcia is trying to track him but if you guys could get some extra insight that would be great."

"Got it Rox." He answered. "Speak later." He told her before putting the phone down. "Roxanne and Garcia said the eldest is being groomed." Morgan told the rest of the team. "We should talk to her friends and family again to see if they know anything.

"Okay Morgan. Emily and JJ can you talk to her best friends? Me and Blake will talk with the parents again."

"Sure Hotch." Emily and JJ agreed before going to the home of her best friends house.

Arriving at the house Emily knocked on the door, and both were greeted by Stella's Mother.

"Hello." She greeted.

"Hello. I'm agent jareau and this is agent Prentiss. I'm FBI and my partner is Interpol. We would like to talk to your daughter if atall possible."

"Yes. That's fine." She agreed. In a state of shock that agents were at her door on Christmas day. "Stella some people are here to talk to you." She called as the agents went into the we and sat in the living room opposite Stella.

"Hello Stella" JJ greeted warmly. "I'm from the FBI and my collegue here is from Interpol. We need to ask you a few questions about Beth."

"Is she okay?"

"She's been kidnapped." Prentiss answered sensitively.

Stella looked shocked and tried not to cry as Emily passed her some tissues.

"We'll do our best to find her." Emily said. "It appears she was being targeted by her online profiles. Did she speak to you about a Charlie Hamstring?"

"Yes. He was a total creep... I tried to warn her..."

"Okay. Did he try and talk to you online too?" JJ asked.

"Yes. But I blocked him before I could get to." She answered. "Do you think he took her?"

"Yes. It's highly likely. Any information could help us find out who I really is." JJ told her calmly.

"I know. I don't know anything." Stella answered. "He talked a lot about christmas... he said he lost his family then."

"That's really helpful." Emily replied. "Is it okay if we have access to your media accounts to see what conversations you were having."

"Yes. Anything you need." She answered.

"Okay. Thankyou for your time." JJ told her before they left to go back to the team.

"We think there's a chance the unsub may me a woman." Emily told team explaining that the children may have been abducted as a replacement of children lost.

"There's also a chance she may be psychotic and looking to recreate the death of her children." JJ continued.

"Okay. So we're on a tight clock. Morgan could you fill in Roxanne and Garcia to see if they could use this information to help locate him." Hotch said.

Back at the office Roxanne answered the phone. "Whats up Morgan?" She asked.

"We're looking for a woman who lost her children in Christmas ccould you narrow it down by th ages of the missing children and that. She also may be psychotic." Morgan responded.

"Okay I'll let Garcia know." Roxanne answered. Saying goodbye to Morgan and putting the phone down.

"Ah ha!" Penelope exclaimed. Having found the unsub as Roxanne got hold of the team to tell them.

"Maria Goodwin." Roxanne told Morgan and emailed the address over.

"Thankyou Rox." Morgan responded. Telling the team before they went to catch the unsub and bring the Children home safe to their family and heading home in the Jet. Relived they had a short case and saved some kids, deciding to celebrate a let Christmas together the next day.
