"Raphael!"
Y'Gythba awoke suddenly, panting and covered in a cold sweat. The panic from her nightmare was slowly leaving her body as she regained awareness of her surroundings. Pulling her protective covering off of her body, she pushed herself from her cot and dressed herself. She had to be presentable if she were to contact him. It was possible that he would be asleep at this late hour, but she had to make certain.
Leaving her quarters, she crept down the hall toward the communications room. She hoped that she would not disturb her comrade and have to explain herself. Luckily for her, the wing was empty and she had full access to the communicator. Good. She stood before the Holo-Communicator and input the contact with the turtles' ship.
For several moments, there was only static, hissing shrilly at her for disturbing it's slumber. Then, a sleepy turtle appeared in the hologram, on fist buried in his eye and rubbing intently.
"'Ello?" he mumbled, his eyes drooping. Y'Gythba winced, knowing that she had caused more disturbance than she had meant.
"This is Y'Gythba, Michelangelo. Is Raphael awake?"
"I'll get 'im," Michelangelo said vaguely as he slumped away. Y'Gythba did not mind waiting, though she found herself feeling a little guilty for waking him. But she had to see him. There was a series of indignant shouts, some scuffling and finally, Raphael's dear face appeared, yawning widely.
"Mona? What's going on?"
He was alright. She couldn't help but smile with relief. Then, she realized that he was staring intently at her, then hastened to respond to his question.
"Nothing is wrong. I dreamt of you and I wanted to see if you were well."
His face brightened, obviously thrilled that he would be in her dreams.
"Oh, well… Yeah, I'm great. What was the dream about?"
Your eyes. Your beautiful eyes, loathing me for my betrayal. Your death, without your forgiveness. Your blood on my hands…
"It is not important. I can let you sleep if you wish."
"O-okay…," Raphael said, suspicion lining his handsome face. "Are you sure you're okay?"
"Of course. Goodnight, my love."
He blushed bright red and stammered a farewell as she turned off the Holo-Communicator. For a long time, she stood silently in the silent communications room, attempting to erase the images from her mind. Unfortunately, she knew that they would haunt her thoughts for a long time until she could better prove herself worthy of him.
She would not fail him again.
