Thoughts
Heavy… Her body felt like lead. Her eyes were shut and everything hurts. The last thing she remembered was being captured and a blinding green light by a strange cloaked being.
She could hear muffled noises in the background. Curious, she tried to open her eyes and move her body. When she tried to lift her arms, she found her body to be constrain. Her eyes snaps open, searching for whatever was constricting her movements.
She was in a dark room, a dark void to be more exact. Her limbs were chained to an invisible floor, her arms and legs spread part. When she tried to detach herself, she notices an image slowly appearing above her.
She gasped in horror. She was watching herself fight against Lord Sesshomaru in what appears to be in the middle of a war.
"No stop it!" She yelled at the image. It wasn't working. She had no control over her body. She could see, hear, and feel everything her body does.
"Please stop!" She cried for what felt like hours. It was hopeless. No how matter how much she struggle or plead, nothing was working. She could only watch as her own body move on its own to fight against her beloved lord.
She sighed in relief when she saw him stop her, but she relaxed too soon. It was only moments later did she witness her hand preparing to plunge the knife Lord Sesshomaru gifted her with heading towards his heart.
"Noo!" She roared desperately, louder than before.
She felt her body pulse as she regained control of her hand for that split second, the split second that abled her to redirecting the course of the knife from his heart to above it instead, preventing his immediate death.
"Sesshomaru-sama!" She screeched, not caring about the intense pain from the sword through her chest but more of the two blades protruding through her lord's.
Her vision went black and before she knew it, she was staring at him through her own eyes and not from the confines of her mind.
"Sesshomaru-sama.." Rin gurgle, barely audible as her sense finally came back to her.
His eyes widen as he bore his eyes into hers, noticing that they were struggling to adjust and gain focus.
Once her vision came back, Rin gazed at his face then trailed down to his chest. She gave out an agonized cry, realizing what she had done.
"I'm so sorry Sesshomaru-sama." She sobbed, ignoring the painful wound through her chest that was quickly taking away her life. She tried to move but her body was still under Kiraya's absolute control. It was a miracle that her senses even came back.
He grabbed her hand and pulled the knife from his chest. He gave out a low painful grunt as the sharp demonic blade sawed against his flesh then tossed it aside.
Leaning forward, he brought his arms around Rin, as if to embrace her. He grabbed onto the hilt of the sword connecting the two and carefully slide it out their bodies.
Rin released a small painful whimper as the metal moved out of her body. Sesshomaru caught her as she fell forward, cradling her dying body against his chest. Trying her hardest to stay conscious, she lifted her head to peer into into his eyes. "I love you." She whispered before her eyes slowly shut.
Rin could feel her life slip away even while Kagome and Airi were trying everything they could to save her life. She was glad that Airi was able to save Sesshomaru. She now has no regrets and welcome her death as her punishment for causing her lord so much trouble.

She could feel herself floating in midair for some reason. She should have been dead so why does she have some kind of consciousness? When she opened her eyes, she was confronted by girl wearing a flawy black kimono who looks just like her, except she had crimson eyes.
Who are you? She look at the girl then down herself, noticing the similar kimono she was wearing but instead her's was white.
Do you have to ask? I'm you of course. The demon side of you. The demoness replied, her voice emotionless like her eyes. Rin's eyes widen in surprise but not fear.
Where am I?
In your mind. You're snuck in here while I have full control of body. Now Rin's eyes were full of fear, hoping that the demoness won't use her body to cause any problems or under Kiraya's control.
Relax, Kiraya is dead and longer has any control of anyone. I have no intentions of harming anyone dear to you either. However, you can't leave your mind until I'm ready to release you.
What are you going to do then? Rin asked hesitantly.
I'm going to test the limits of a demon.
What do you mean?
You'll see. Just relax and enjoy the show. She smirked. I'll visit again. She said before she disappeared, leaving Rin alone in her own mind.

Rin was watching the interactions in front, finding it odd that someone was controlling her body while she sits by in her mind. It was like when Kiraya had her under control except this time she wasn't chained down or feeling anything that her body was feeling. She was simply a spectator in her own mind.
Why did you call Sesshomaru-sama a filthy dog? She was seething.
It was payback for all he pain he had cause you.
I never asked you to do that!
Can't you be a little appreciative? I was looking out for the both of us. She sighed.
Thanks but please don't do that again. I don't want to disrespect him.

What do you think you're doing to milord with my body!? Rin shouted in embarrassment, remembering her demon trying to seduce Sesshomaru just moments ago, leading to some very intimate touches and kisses. Kami the sound of his husky voice was echoing in her head.
Calm down, it's my body too. Besides, I know you've always wanted to be intimate with him and go even farther than I just did.
Yes but I would never do it!
Hey you should be thanking me here.
And pray tell me why?
I just confirmed that he's attracted to our body, even if it's a demon one. To think being turned into a demon would finally make him attracted to you.
Stop it!
Do you think he would have responded that way if you were still a human?
Don't say anymore!
Rin face it, being a demon changes everything. He never would have accepted a human. If he truly cared about you, he would have showed it when you were still a human.
Rin had tears falling down her face, slowly accepting her demon's words.

Can you believe him? The nerve of him, lying in front of our face like that, pretending that he loves us!
Rin was standing in silence, watching her demon rant about Sesshomaru's confession.
You know he was lying right?
Rin slowly nodded in response, not saying a word.

Ugh I hate him!
No you don't.
Her demon stopeed, staring at her confusion.
You are me and I am you remember? We share the same feelings. Rin slowing walked up to her demon, cupping her face where Sesshomaru had just slapped them. We both love him.She gave her a small smile.
While he hates us. He'll never accept us. We can't be what he wants, the human Rin, you. I'm sorry Rin. Her face contorted in anguish.
Rin shook her head. It's not your fault.
You know what we have to do right? We can't stay here anymore. It'll only trouble him and cause us more grief. As your demon, I have to protect us, body and mind.
Rin nodded her head, a tear slipping down her cheek.

Rin watched on the side of her mind as her demon readied them to leave their old life behind. Her was heartbroken about leaving but it must be done, it was for the better.
She gasped when Sesshomaru appeared out of nowhere. Why is he here?
Before she knew what was going on, Sesshomaru had her body against the tree that she always asked her demon to let her see. This tree was where everything started.
She watched and listened as her demon and Sesshomaru argue with one another once again.
Irritation, frustration, sadness, and then happiness was coursing through her mind.
He wanted her to stay, regardless if she's a demon or human, of who she was. He loves her for her and forgave her for her sins.
Tears of happiness and relief streamed down her cheeks. Her surroundings slowly brightened up, shifting from black to white. The image before her disappeared like it usually does when her real body was asleep.
Rin. Her demon slowly appear before her eyes. Did you hear that? He accepted us. She smiled, tears cascading from her eyes.
Un! Rin nodded.
Now this is goodbye. Rin froze in shock.
What do you mean? Are you going to disappear?
No. I am your inner demon, I will always be here for you like he will from now on.
No… for us.
They both smiled at one another until they were both bathed in complete brightness, their bodies fading into the whiteness.

"Sesshomaru-sama!" Rin screamed, sitting her body upright. She held her head with her hands in a state of dizziness.
"Rin." Rin flinched, recognizing the baritone voice. She slowly turned her head to see Sesshomaru sitting next to her bed.
"Sesshomaru-sama.." She breathed, her eyes welling with tears.
"Rin." He peered into her chocolate eyes, reaching for her face and this time she allowed him.
Drawing his face closer, he claimed her lips gently. Static shock coursed through them both from the exquisite contact of their lips. How he wish he would have done this ages ago. It felt so right… so perfect.
He continues to brush his lips against hers, wrapping her waist with his other hand to bring her closer.
Within moments, they were both clinging to one another as if their life depended on it. The kissed rapidly became more heated as Sesshomaru nipped her lower lip, eliciting a gasp. He plunged his tongue into her mouth, tasting her delicious mouth. Rin moaned into the kiss, swirling her tongue against Sesshomaru's in response.
Minutes passed before they finally parted for air, just in time as the door bursted open to reveal Kagome and the others.
"Rin!" The yelled in unison, quickly crowding around her bed.
"Everyone!" Rin said in surprise, her face in embarrassment hoping they didn't see her kissing her lord.
They had heard the news that Rin was back to her old self last night after Sesshomaru brought her fainted body back to her room. Inuyasha, with his more superior hearing than his companions, had heard Rin waking up. Ignoring what she was doing with his brother, he informed everyone else, leading them to their current situation.
They were happy to have her back, not they they weren't before, it was just that this Rin was much nicer.
Rin was glad to see everyone and to have control of her body once again. She apologized to everyone for her rude behavior which they quickly forgave her for. Even Jaken forgave in an instant, glad to have the sweeter Rin back. The old one scared him too much.
After their short celebration of Rin's return, everyone left her room to let her rest some more except Sesshomaru.
The room was silent, neither knowing what to say after their kiss. They knew they desire one another but how should they approach the situation. Neither had much experience in love.
"Sesshomaru-sama" Rin started, breaking their silence. "Where is Airi? She wasn't here when I woke up." Rin completely forgot about Airi when she was still stuck in her own mind.
"She's…" His voice sounded grave.
"Sesshomaru-sama please tell me what happened to Airi." Rin panicked, having a bad feeling about this.
"She died a couple of nights ago." He said blandly.
What?
"But how?" She breathed.
"She gave up her life to resurrect yours." He stated, his eyes filled with mixed emotions. He was forever indebted to the demoness.
There was a pounding in her heart. She cried in grief as her friend died because of her. Sesshomaru slowly wrapped his arms around her sobbing body, hoping to soothe her. They sat their for what felt like forever.
"Where is she? Did you bury her yet?" She asked, seizing her crying.
"Not yet, she's still in her room." He stated.
"Where?" She whispered.

Rin and Sesshomaru walked into Airi's room. Senri was sitting beside her, still holding her hand.
"Sesshomaru-sama, Rin-sama." Senri said, slowly getting up to greet them.
"Senri…" Rin trailed. She bent her back to a bow. "I'm really sorry." Tears slowly formed in her eyes, her vision now blurry.
"Rin-sama please." Senri said desperately, trying to upright her. "Airi did it on her own wishes. She wanted this so please don't be sad." He reassured her, a small smile on his face.
Rin nodded, then slowly sat down beside Airi, holding onto her hands. She looks so peaceful in her death.
If only I could save your life too. Why am I so useless, causing trouble for others…
Minutes passed by as silent tears continues to cascade down her face while Sesshomaru and Senri stood by in silence.
Rin suddenly gasped, an idea striking her mind. She quickly turned to Sesshomaru then shuffled to him, bowing down lowly at his feet. Sesshomaru was appalled by her actions, she should not be bowing down on the ground to anyone, even to him. She was too good for that.
"Sesshomaru-sama please! Please bring Airi back to life with your Tenseiga. I beg of you." Rin implored, burying her face deeper into the floor.
Moments passed by and Rin's heart was pounding, inwardly begging for him to say yes.
Senri was confused He has the power to bring someone back to life?
"If that is what you wish." Sesshomaru finally said. He had thought of bring Airi back with his Tenseiga but went against it, not wanting the others to think he was soft or anything, resurrecting people like some savior.
Rin gasped, sighing in relief along with Senri.
"Thank you milord!" They said.
Sesshomaru gracefully walked out of the room only to return seconds later holding Tenseiga in his right hand. Standing over Airi, he drew his sword, watching the minions from the netherworld surround her body. Swiping his sword above her, he cut the minions. He sheathed his sword then backed away.
Rin and Senri were immediately by Airi's side, waiting for her to wait up. They watched as Airi's eyes slowly fluttered open.
"Airi!" They screamed, tears of joys falling. Senri quickly wrapped his arms around her, crushing her to him.
"Senri." She squeaked, sounding just as healthy as ever. She hugged him back in confusion. Rin got up, standing next to Sesshomaru.
"How am I alive?" She asked. She looked up and saw Rin, glad to see her alive and standing next to Sesshomaru.
"Sesshomaru-sama brought you back to life after Rin-sama asked him to."
Airi's eyes widen then softened. "Thank you Lord Sesshomaru, thank you Rin."
They both nodded, a smile plastered on Rin's face.
"Are you happy Rin?" Sesshomaru asked, his eyes turning to her.
"Yes very. Thank you Sesshomaru-sama. I love you." Rin said, giving him a bright smile.
