Did you guys really fall for that? xD I thought you all would have learned by now that this story is full of cliff hangers and drama. So I thought to myself, why not tease my audience for a bit? Here is the OFFICIAL last chapter of Poetry and Coffee which is ironically in the month of July! LOL This has been a lovely and crazy two year ride but thank you everyone for reading this! There will most likely be a bonus chapter next week that will be the final piece to this crazy fanfic.

Again sorry for the joke, but what can I say? This whole fanfic is a tease ;)

"I am here."

Even though those were the words that came out of her own mouth, Cindy still held her breath as Neutron looked fully into her eyes with both wonder and interest. Taking a chance (as if she hadn't done already), she gently spoke out, "I thought that I could put it all behind me. That none of it meant anything to me. But I was wrong."

Jimmy moved his hands up to his face to grab the ones that Cindy had placed there. He gave a gentle squeeze before she began to speak again.

"I thought that you were something of the past that had to be left alone and forgotten. I was just giving myself the excuse that it was wrong to pursue something since you were my professor, but I think I was just scared of how much could come out of it. I thought that by getting with you, I could be putting myself at risk of getting hurt again. You entering my life all over again just makes me scared that you will leave again."

Moving their clasped hands away from the frame of his face, he gives her a pained and sad smile before whispering, "I am sorry for leaving you. I thought that it was the best thing to do for me. For all of us. For you.."

He moved his hands down to her waist and held her there for a few moments before pulling her into a hug with his chin resting on the top of her head. Sighing into her hair, Jimmy said, "I will never leave you. I was so miserable thinking that I would never be able to see any of you guys again. When you came back into my life, that was the first time anything had real purpose. I..I love you, Cindy. We could be happy together… "

Jimmy looked down straight at her emerald eyes.

Cindy wrapped her own arms around his torso and smiled a soft expression.

"I guess poetry has made you softer over the years, huh?"

There was a hint of red seeping into Neutron's cheeks in embarrassment. He tried to look away, but she stopped his face with one of her hands.

She gave a loving smirk before adding, "I didn't say I didn't like it. Of course, I love you too you big-headed sap."

Jimmy recovered from his state and put on an easy expression with a loosened and genuine smile before kissing down on her temple.

One of Cindy's favorite things to see.

Cindy put her arms around his neck and passionately kissed him for what felt like had been a long time coming. He was quick to respond to the kiss and moved his hands up to gently tangle in her blonde curls.

Cindy could feel that he was smiling through the kiss.

She smiled back with him.

Breaking away from the kiss and wrapping around her arms again to make him look at her straight in the face, Cindy gave a serious-teasing tone, "Listen, if this is going to work, we need to set some ground rules."

Jimmy raised an eyebrow in amusement and replied back, "Oh?"

"We are going to take things slow. Nothing too crazy since you have to build your empire or dynasty, or whatever you call it and I still have to get through college and then hopefully law school."

Pecking her cheeks, Jimmy murmured with a lazy smile, "So?"

"So, it means that we have plenty of time to be together. So why rush?"

"Or," Jimmy replied before kissing down her neck and sending comforting shivers down her spine, "Why wait on what's going to be forever?"

Cindy rolled her eyes at him before he pulled her to place his lips on her own. She let out a happy hum and found herself being enveloped within his embrace. There was something familiar yet completely new when kissing Neutron. It was almost like they were meant to be together from the very start. Who else would they have ended up with?

She huffed in annoyance when he pulled away from her too quickly.

Putting a finger on his lips, he walked down to the office door and swiftly opened the door in one smooth motion. At this action, out fell Dee, Zoe, Adam, and some of the waitresses; all having guilty looks on their faces.

Dee was the first to speak with a shaky voice, "Honey, Jimmy, it's not what it looks like. We were all just uh looking for a flashlight!"

Zoe piped up in support, "Yeah! We couldn't see a thing out there, so what better place to look for a flashlight than in an office?"

Adam could not even attempt to hide the obvious truth and just rolled their eyes at them. "I told them that this idea was bullocks, but they keep insisting."

Cindy and Jimmy just look at each other before bursting out in a fit of giggles. Just to put on a show, Jimmy pulled her in and placed a gentle kiss on the lips to which put everyone in a fit of a series of happy sighs.

Cindy could get used to this.

"Wait, you guys actually ended up getting locked in a closet together?!" Libby cried out in laughter. "Could you guys have been anymore obvious?"

"Honey, that is exactly what I tried to tell her!" Dee shrieked out in laughter.

Sheen spit out the Purple Flurp that he was drinking, getting some on Carl who was also in a complete state of disbelief after listening to Dee's story.

Cindy quickly tried to explain herself, "It's not like anything happened! All we did was play a game of Truth or Dare an-"

Jimmy put his hand over her mouth before whispering in her ear, "You're just going to make it sound even worse than it is."

Zoe, Adam, and Dee were completely laughing their asses off at how red Cindy's face got after that.

Jimmy, Cindy, Libby, Zoe, Adam, Sheen, and Carl were all sitting in Dee's cafe on Christmas Day. The place was empty because of the holiday, so it was the perfect spot to hang out for all of them since Libby, Sheen, and Carl flew up the week before. Modeling, fashion, and llamas could wait for a little bit. After Cindy and Jimmy got together, they decided that it was best to come up and congratulate the happy couple and take some time off of their jobs to catch up.

Even though she was embarrassed, Cindy couldn't help but smile at the sight in front. All of her friends were finally together after what had felt like forever and she is spending her Christmas right.

Everything is falling into place perfectly.

"But really though," Sheen mused putting his elbows up on the table, "How can the same Neutron that ended up sending all of his teachers into space for a week end up becoming one himself?! That's crazy! Like Bermuda Triangle crazy!"

Sheen grew much taller over the course of high school and was not much tamer than his elementary school self. Regardless of this fact, he still was the most hyper of the bunch as well as the child of all the adults.

"I was the loony toon in school? Sheen you practically ate eraser shavings for lunch. If anyone was the freak it was you!"

"CARL! Tell him that he was!"

Carl, who has gotten slimmer and much more confident over the years, gave a smirk and replied, "I'm honestly surprised that you didn't get lead poisoning from all the shavings you ate, Sheen. Mrs Fowl was so scared!"

Everyone at the table laughed and Libby sympathetically soothed her finance's back.

Cindy leaned back into Jimmy's chest and held his hand tightly in her own while looking up to give him a warm smile. Jimmy smiled back and placed a kiss on the top of her head.

Out of all the drama and emotional turmoil that she went through the entire semester, she could not help but think that it was all worth it. Everything that she went though all led up to this happy moment.

Maybe that poetry class was not that bad after all.

Cindy got up from her position and stood in front of the table while asking, "Does anyone want anything to drink? Water, milk, tea?"

Jimmy looked at her with his forever-curious blue eyes and asked,

"'Do we have any coffee?"

See what I did there lol.
